Quick trip with an old friend to help with answers. Came back with multiple ticks. TFTC.
Today, after arrival at Brooms Head, we had a short walk along the coastal path and came along this nice spot with an earth cache. We enjoyed the view and hopefully found the right answers.TFTCacheld
A beautiful location at the end of the day, not long before the storm rolled in.As I was by myself today, I didn't venture down to the beach/rocks. Thank you for the earthcache
I am from Switzerland...and we travel all states and Terrotories of Australia .We do housesitting all over the world and travel afterwards. Its nice to be back and this time even better with geocaching Nggi2 and I decided today and to make out of green ones Smilies . We arrived yesterday at the Caravan park and we decided to visit all caches around in the evening..It was a bit scary after a snake alert at the campeside.. We put specal Clothes and shoes on for this reason . In the bush the plants got hold of us ..we walked on to two the Earthcaches and were surprised by not walking on the beach in sand ..but above the rocks ..Our English is not so good for the Earthcache answers ..we had to translate it in to German to understand the questions and send the answers to you.Thank you for showing us this intersting place oinkoinkDie Antworten gesendet .gestern besucht.

A very lovely scene around here!
Thanks The X-Trailers.

We went for a walk here with ilook4geo and gathered the answers to the questions. These were sent to the CO and we received a very quick response. This a very popular walking track and was lovely on a beautiful morning. Thanks go to The X-Trailers for creating this earth cache.
Enjoyed doing a nice easy earth cache along with goingplaces2. Joint answers sent and approval to log received from the CO. TFTEC.
Love the walk to this cache and thanks for making us take a better look at that walk. TFTC

The two EarthCaches attracted us down to Brooms Head for lunch today, and some great scenery to shoot with our drone. Such a great area, the drone got a good workout after we made our observations and found the nearby trad.
I would have liked to explore down on the beach a bit, but one of the kids left his hat in the car, so I was hatless and getting cooked.... TFTC! +1 FP for a great spot.....

TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
Great location, blowing a light gale as we visited and ground was quite wet, making it a little freaky!

I found lots of caches on a roadtrip holiday up to Byron Bay. Over the course of the week, I targeted a variety of caches that worked towards different statistic-based goals. Thanks to all the Cache Owners for their contributions to this fantastic recreational activity.

The last time I was in this area was 1 day short of exactly 5 years ago. On that occasion Swellerfungus and I had decided to visit a few local caches on the drive back from a fishing trip at Wooli. Today JezNDez had joined us on a mission for a nearby FTF hiking cache. With success achieved despite rain and mosquitoes, we continued on to Brooms Head in search of something to eat and somewhere to dry off. With appetites sated at a local cafe, we had enough energy left for a short walk out to this earthcache. The early rain had abated and it was quite a pleasant walk down to GZ. Definitely an interesting location to see evidence of the upheaval in the earth's surface over time. TFTC
Found this after work on Saturday with Wayn0. We also managed to find a way down the slippery slope below GZ to the pebbly beach.
Answering the first question proved a little hard as it assumed we knew what a dip was. The description mentioned dips but didn't explain what they were. Had to google that later as there was no phone reception where we sat. Thankfully we were sensible enough to take photos to refer to later.
Thanks for bringing us to this amazing location.

Stopped at GZ on the way back from grabbing the nearby Clean Sweep cache.
Sat on the grass in the sun and worked out the possible answers to the questions.
E mail has been sent to CO. Didn't notice there was another earthcache out this way too.
Really enjoyed our visit to Brooms Head. These places off the main tourist route are a lot more enjoyable to visit and cache at than the more popular places.
Thanks.

WOW! I never realised the diverse range of geology here until The X-Trailers were kind enough to point it out. This was truly a grand Earthcache and also number 99! Thanks X-trailers
We had driven here in the afternoon after a visit to Maclean. We had done plenty of exploring but wanted a swim to cool off. Brooms head looked like a good spot as we had never been there before. We parked at the carpark then walked the track down to the beach where we stuffed around for an hour or so, as you do, before deciding to head back.
I made sure to explore the headlands geology while returning (as far as my nerves allowed me ) and took a few more photos than i needed, just in case, because I had no mobile service to see what I would need to answer questions about or describe. Back home I managed to cobble together some answers from what I had observed and from the interesting info provided. With a swift reply back fro the CO, I now have permission to log my find.
Thanks for the second time today to the X-Trailers, some fantastic descriptions of the local formations and how they came to be. I love this cache type, and all the things that can be learned about an areas history by its geomophology. Some fantastic views to boot is icing on this delicious geocake.

With the rising temperature we decided to venture to Brooms Head. Lovely to revisit this area it gave us a chance to check on our caches and do this earth cache. Answers collected and will be sent through shortly. Fav point alloc. Thankyou The X-Trailers for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
We drove out here after an end of 2017 event in Ulmarra with JooJoo57. We were a bit hungry as by the time we arrived out here it was just 2pm. We went into the kiosk having been told they make the BEST chips only to find out they close the kitchen at 2pm and don't reopen it until 5pm. Staving off our hunger pangs we walked out to this Earthcache location. Even Geohubby said he could stand being hungry to have come for this walk. What a great spot. I'm so glad The X-Trailers organized this Earthcache here because although I greatly admired the view I'm not convinced in myself I would have noticed the differences we were to see without having to take special note. So thanks for bringing us here. There was a nice breeze blowing off the ocean which made it more pleasant to be here in the heat today. All in all a great experience. Answers sent to CO and approval given to log. Cheers and Happy New Year!
Logging with permission of CO.
Visited Brooms Head many times when I lived in Townsend near Maclean and I don't think I ever came over this side of the headland. What an amazing bit of geology! Thanks so much X-Trailers for bringing me to this spot.
