Logs
While on a road trip from Melbourne to Adelaide, today we decided to do some of this series. Starting early in the morning we attempted #1-#156 before returning to Meningie and continuing the series in the afternoon with CatCasper. Logs were signed AP for AddisonPascal and also CC for CatCasper for the later caches. In this stretch we found 138 and DNFed 17. Mostly these caches were in pretty bad condition, with many damaged containers and hides not matching hints. The whole series could do with a maintenance check. However, it was fun, and thank you to Fishy Tales for setting up this series!
Today's target was this 277 power trail, with Muzza, McLookers, Micaparamedic, ThePacman, Papi4506 and for the last part Team Crackers. Logs signed Vic1. We took off early but already the heat was there and the day got hotter still. Luckily some early cloud cover helped us keep up our brisk pace and we finished early afternoon. Most caches were easily found, we replaced 2 we didn't find and at least 6 others where the cache container was cracked. Glad McLookers and Muzza brought lots of supplies. This is the most I've ever found in one day, and I'm feeling it. Will be glad when we get to Adelaide and I can have a rest and a shower. A great power trail, thanks for all the hard work in placing and maintaining these.
Lindt for the win!Adventuring today with Muzza, micaparamedic, ThePacman, Papi4506 and GT37.and Team Crackers for part. Logs signed Vic1 or V1 to save space. Thanks for placing the cache Fishy Tales.
Found today with ConnieandRick, McLookers, ThePacman, Micaparamedic, Papi4506, GeoTurtle37 and Team Crackers towards the end. Most caches found immediately, some requiring a bit more time, and a couple of missing ones replaced. All signed as Vic1.My thanks to Fishy Tales for the cache.
There is a rather large contingent of Victorians heading to the Mega in Adelaide tomorrow so some of us decided to meet at Meningie and attack this trail. ConnieandRick, McLookers, ThePacman, Micaparamedic, Muzza, GeoTurtle37 and myself started off nice and early and were later joined by Team Crackers who had already completed a lot of those we found earlier. We didn't have too much trouble with any finds and although it was rather warm, we all had a great day out.Thank you for the time and effort that has gone into setting up and now maintaining this trail for all to enjoy.
After an interesting night at The Bend Motorsports Complex the aim today was to knock over the ROTF series before heading in to Adelaide. This geocaching adventure was undertaken in the company of Muzza, McLookers, ThePacman, Papi4506, GeoTurtle37, ConnieandRick and Team Crackers joined us for the last 65 or so. Logs were signed Vic1 to save space. Thanks for placing this cache and the whole series Fishy Tales.
Generic log:Like some geocachers, I seem to start a series and never get back to it. Given that it was going to be warm today, I decided to tackle the last part of the series. Forgot to charge my phone fully and there was one I couldn't find. Damn. I was giving myself 30 seconds by then but the clue 'bush' wasn't helpful in these parts. TFTC Fishy Tales and for Darkside Dan, Morgo the geo and Weredunn4 and Cheezel for replacing containers recently.Respect for whoever left the large tin for the cache.
I put the word out to weredunn4 that if the weather this weekend wasnt any good for kayaking, would he be interested in heading down Tailem Bend way to target the ROTF or Wandering Heroes power trails.Unbeknown to me there are some high terrain caches he didnt have that are close to the ROTF series, so I got a resounding hell yeah lets do this So here we are creating another very long line of yellow smiley faces and boosting the daily average Quickly found here today and log stampedTFTC
Cheezel was keen to tackle another powertrail of caches, so the ROTF series was chosen for the weekend (plus a few others in the area), so we jumped in Cheezels bushbasher and headed out into the sticks.Today we started our second day from Meningie towards Yumali.Huge shoutout to Morgothegeo for helpful hints and recent maintenance of the series!Cache found and log stamped
Maintenance undertaken on this cache with the permission of the cache owner. Cache is now a choccie tin with a dress log in a bag.
Seeing the pampas grass I thought snakes. Lucky the cache was at the peppercorn tree.In Meningie for a few days mostly targeting the ROTF caches.Fishy Tales, I found ROTF 061 today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.* * * * * * *SAs Leap Year Event - GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. Keep looking up!

Finally back to do some more caches in this series. Beautiful sunny morning, Thank you for placing the cache
Another cache hunt on our 2022 South Australian Adventure. And back on the ROTF Trail in the pouring rain. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on this geo-guided tour.
Back to do some more of the series today after visiting Meningie. I enjoyed being out in "nature" on a pleasant day. Thanks FishyTales.
On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird, Honeysucker, Liz & Bruce. Blue sky day, so it’s a great day for caching. TFTC Fishy Tales

Travelling with Wollaston, Seasoned Bird and Honeysucker to complete this series. Good to be doing a trail again reminded us of our time in the USA doing trails. We were armed with new containers and many were needed as several of the original containers had become brittle and cracked while trying to open. The different hiding spots had us challenged a few times and the pile of rocks were definitely our favourite quick find and back to the car and onto next. Our thanks to Fishy Tales for placing this cache series and enhancing our enjoyment of the area..
And oddly. Number 061 was the last in the series to be completed by us. We have met all the Popes.
Praise be to the cache makers. Blessed be. The force be with you.
(Last time we were here a large brown snake tried to sell us an apple - but we knew that was a bad idea )
Off we went today on a mission to meet the Pope. A lot of Popes actually.
Some time ago I'd done the elder Popes, and then a while later the younger ones.
But the middling Popes were waiting to be found and their books appropriately inscribed in.
That's still a lot of rings to kiss [8)] One of them was Team Mattycat's 15000th find. But not this one! (It was number 150)
By the end of the day the orange ink in our Purrfect Di and Mattycat stamp was fading fast like the sunlight.
Overall quite a few of the containers seemed to be in original condition, with the odd smaller container and rusty mint tin thrown in where replacements must have been put down in more recent times.
Much thanks to Fishy Tales for placing and maintaining the cache on our map
Bless you for caching !!! The Log be with you.

This cache was found and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or sometimes with just plain old dumb luck and occasional use of a holy hand grenade!

Stay safe when caching. Watch for snakes, random cliffs, wild goats, wombats, bulldust, and lightning,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins... but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]
Make sure Travel Bugs are the only ones you share and pass on
2020 turned into 2020won, and 2020too is on the way! 2020free should see us through
Still important to observe social distancing when possible, (150 nano caches apart should do it)
Still important to wash your hands (always has been really [:o)]
Still very important to look after each other and take precautions & get checked out for even the tiniest sniffle or cough, or unexpected headache! [8)] [B)]
Still even more important to get some fresh air and exercise while we can, so get out and cache the country!
Thanks so much to all those placing caches out and about away from the city crowds,
keeps our game safe and interesting

Spent the day caching this group from 051 to 0213 from north of Meningie to the Dukes Highway. Thank you for the placement of the caches. Had a great day.
Thanks Fishy Tales for the cache, the series and the ongoing maintenance.
Today we headed down to Meningie to continue the ROTF series which we started on 8 Jan 2021. We commenced at #051 and headed east, we called it a day at #213 at Yumali. Our driver was skilled, and two of us typically fell out of the car to grab the cache (well most of the time). The weather changed quite a bit today, we had overcast, sun, cool, warm and some showers all mixed in there. We saw a few animals but no snakes. We covered the containers to be out of sight and the sunlight, and replaces those that needed it.
This cache was in good condition. Log prepared and submitted with GSAK

A plan was hatched with Rapidlywild to attack some of the caching trails down in VIC/SA. With the boarders slowly staying open we thought Easter might be a safe time to try since the QLD boarder was still too fragile to attempt going to the MEGA and it also looked like it could be rather wet there.
Our team “The Mob” consisted of GoodLook, LíB, Rapidlywild, The Drovers, feathertop and ourselves. This team ended up being very productive and some new friendships were made. Always a bonus in my book. All logs were stamped with “The Mob” to save space and time.
After completing all the trails, we had set out to do and a couple more for good measure it was time for this mob to go its separate ways.
After deciding to bail from doing the wandering heroes we looked on the map and noticed the ROTF trail. So headed out early with Rapidlywild to see what they were like. Weather was lovely and overcast and besides gaining a passenger being a rather large huntsman at one of the caches the trail went pretty smoothly.
Thanks for the all the hides and trail Fishy Tales and for the fun Rapidlywild

For the first time in a long time, it was road trip time. With COVID-19 keeping everyone at home for so long, the borders were finally opening and the feet were itchy for a decent caching trip. Plans were made with FurfacesLL to do a 10 day road trip across to Mildura and Loxton to do a heap of caching and we were excited. Across the 10 days we racked up over 4,300km in driving, multiple hotels/motels, brought home enough red dust to create our own sand pit in the back yard and collected over 1800 finds between us. It was a massive trip and lots of fun was had.
We teamed up with GoodLook, FeatherTop, The Drovers and LiB and signed most logs as "The Mob". There were a few caches which were signed as individual team names as some teams had already completed said caches, those will be noted individually.
Our target caches were the Turtle Series, the Paddle Steamer Series and the On Ya Bike wherigo Series, heaps of other caches were also collected along the way but our primary target caches were completed which made us all very happy and very tired geocachers.
With the Turtle done, the PS Series done, the On Ya Bike done, the TdU & TdF done as well as the Riddlers done, our targeted caches has been accomplished. With the teams now split and it was back to FurfacesLL and myself, we had heaps to choose from. Yesterday we did some Wandering Heroes caches which were time consuming. Today we chose to head further south and do the ROTF series instead.
Thanks for the hides Fishy Tales And thanks FurfacesLL for a trip to remember [^].

22,882. Found with minniek during our Post-Christmas escape to South Australia.
This trip to South Australia was on again off again due to the changing circumstances in the various states we had to travel through. Finally getting a green light from all 3 states we headed off early boxing day. Day 11 of our adventures took us back to the ROTF series. We did #277 to #230 yesterday, and our aim for the day - a big day - is to finish the series starting at #001. This we managed with 230 finds - Phew ! All caches were found quickly and in good order unless otherwise stated. Next find of the day. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, and then headed off to the next one.
Thanks Fishy Tales !! I'm reading these as I'm logging and finding all the information very interesting !

Today fitzy _1965, 2 geokids and I decided to finish the rest of this trail.
We had a few DNFs and one we couldn’t attempt because a farmer was at GZ at the time.
The day was long but fun was had. We had some trouble with the hints not necessarily matching the hide so an open mind is suggested for the cachers following us.
Thanks Fishy Tails for all the cache placements.

Out once again to knock off a few more of this geotrail, most were easy finds, most logbooks were damp and a few were soaking wet, however we were able to put our moniker on them and then replaced as found.

While staying in Meningie Caravan Park for a week we decided to attempt this huge power trail over a few days. Today we exceeded our previous biggest day and found 132 caches and DNF’d 2.
We had to return to number 6 and 7 on our way back to the van because this morning there was a group of young lads who had obviously camped for the night part way up a slope near the road and we would have been muggled. (Camp chairs and sleeping bags gave them away) We also had to leave a big gap in the numbers much further along when we came upon a grader working on the already very good dirt road so we’ll hopefully try for those when we make our next attempt on the series.
Most caches were in good condition and were easy to find however some are starting to show definite signs of too much sun exposure. I will make a separate note on the caches where we replaced the shattered containers with what we had available...only about 3 from memory.
Many thanks Fishy Tales for allowing us to get quite a few more smileys

Enjoyed a few days away from home trying to increase our numbers. We checked out many of Bindi's modes of transport before a late lunch and then onto Meningie. We purchased a few supplies in town and found a few caches in town before finding a few more along the ROTF trail

A huge day out with sir_spectre and AllisterW. We had a mission to complete the ROTF series and complete it we did.
Thanks to Fishy Tales from mogni
Thanks to Fishy Tales from mogni
On a day out with mogni and allister w. Today's target's where to get a multi cache on this calendar day for me, a puzzle cache on this calendar day for mogni and complete all of the ROTF series. All of the target's where met today. As a bonus we did the new released sherlock series at the end of the ROTF series. I am not sure what the weather was doing today. The forecast was for 28 and sunny but mogni's car was telling us it peaked at 38 degrees outside the car, with a hot breeze off the farm land.
The ROTF series condition was poor. I replaced the damaged containers as i went along the trail ( 1/2 a plastic bag full of broken containers ). Some had been biten by animals, others perished to UV rays and one had a new log but no cache container, just a plastic bag. If the log was soaked it was replaced as some people didn't put the lids back on properly and some of the replacement caches where smaller then the orginals and some of those logs where commonly found full and replaced.

Sir Spectre, mogni and I joined to complete the ROTF series from start to finish in one day. We started at 001 and went to 277. Sir Spectre had a big bucket of containers to replace(with permission of CO) the containers that were broken and by the end of the trail the bucket was empty. Several logs were damaged and replaced with logs mogni had made. I found the hint on a lot of the caches was incorrect. The weather was warm and by the end of the trail I had enough of pulling grass seeds out of my socks. The road was quiet and I think I only saw about half a dozen other vehicles along the trail. After we had completed this series we found a few new caches in Sherlock which was good a good finish to the day. Thanks Fishy Tales for the caches
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.
I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

Looks like the grader has claimed this one. After several DNFs the CO may wish to replace.
Nope, no joy for me here. Looks ike the grader has claimed this one
Thanks anyway, Fishy Tales

Not this time. The grader decided to do a U-turn at the GZ. Might be there but to much mud to look
Cachers Felix, which we don't actually think is their name, are the only Felix we know, good to see another name thrown into the mix of pope names. Starting to get hungry by this cache, the things we do just to say we have done 100 caches in a day! Wish we had bought food!!
This is such a busy road it pays to have ones wits about them, we have had numerous stock trucks scoot though with not much of a slow down.
St Felix IV (Felix III) Papa FELIX Quartus (Tertius) Ruled: 12 July 526 – 22 September 530 (4 years, 72 days)

By a beautyful day together with barbarine by our journey I found this cache. Thank you for the hide and greetings from Germany.
Today finderus and I look for many caches along our trip. Thank you for the hide and greetings from Germany.
Loved Sal's log so much I have decided to plagiarize it....with a few changes.
Feathertop and I came over to Meningie to do a maintenance run on the ROTF Pope Series with the CO's blessing. Thanks Freddo for the containers. As Sal said, with the Catholic Church back in the news this week it seemed appropriate to be out here.
On this run we replaced many ailing Popes, resurrected 2 at the end which had been archived once before and restored one teetering Pope that was on disabled death row (nicely said Sal!) so there are 277 live Popes to be found again - YAY!!
Many logbooks were also replaced as time, animals and sunlight have done their worst, we met road workers at cache #150 and they knew about the caches as they were grading and tree lopping and had seen many. In this stretch a few caches were repositioned slightly but otherwise all good.
The weather really was amazing today and friendly locals (including 2 lovely farmers) made this a pleasure to do especially on a wide road with spots to pull over.
Caching is such a wonderful way to get outside and de-stress.
Thanks to Fishy Tales! [^]

Found these while visiting the area. I will make full comments against #1, apart form spme specofic comments against certain caches.
The day started out pretty dismal with rain and a few dnfs. We changed over our team arrangements which took abit getting use to. The rain stopped and then we hit our straps and it was pretty much smooth sailing from there tftc and the work in maintaining the series.
No.
No. Not today.
An enthusiastic Sebastbat came back up from that bush faster than a speeding batmobile.....
The eastern brown wriggly stick that spooked him is somewhere in the bush.
Will return for this one mid winter

Hi there Fishy Tales.
We found your cache **"ROTF 061"** today. (This makes our find count 21358).
Today we headed out from Meningie for day 2 of our attempt on the "ROTF" series, plus any others we may have come across on our travels. We started at #51 & from there we proceeded to log caches up to #130 before getting bored & headed back to camp. We thoroughly enjoyed today's cache finds, but please excuse our boilerplate logs - we know it's not really a good excuse, but we find it difficult to craft individual logs when we attempt so many similar caches in a day. [:(!]
We found 79 caches today & DNF'd 1. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found most caches within a few metres of where our GPS said we should be looking. [:(!] (We did have to look a little further afield for some though). [:(!]
**Cache Condition:** The containers and log books were mostly in good shape. Some hints were pure fiction though.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge in the majority of caches.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny

Found with FUF009.
Day 2 of our trip to Narrong to stay at a camp site I was enamoured with.
Today we finished off the ROTF series, finding 1 to 89 and then heading back to St Arnaud.
Again it was a pretty smooth run and we smashed out the 89 with a find rate of 1 cache every 1.85 minutes! Nerdy to work this out.
We were done on target so could muck around on the way home.
It turns out that Pokemon Go can add 6 hours to a journey!!
It was a great trip. Tftc

Finally after some time we were back to finish off the Popes Series.
plan was, one day, to cache from #179 and get to #90, then head into Meningie to grab the few caches in and around the town, get supplies for camping and head around to the Narrung Jetty Reserve and set up swag for the night.
Day two, back to finish off the Popes from #1 to #89 then head on home back over the boarder.
we were thank full all them months back we stopped the Popes series as this time around we seemed to have a lot more fun on the two days out n about with the series.

We declared this day as "geocaching day" and found 200 caches before having enough - thank you for the new statistics-level

I had planned a big few days of caching in SA so I left work on a Tuesday evening and hit the road from Melbourne. This was my first full day of caching and it was centred around this power trail. Please excuse the generic log as by and large the containers were easy to find and in good condition. In a few cases I have made a note specific to that cache. I did the caches north of Dukes Highway and then headed back to count down from 213. After refreshing myself with some lunch I carried on along the road here to great run of finds along here to make good progress. Many logs just signed as 91AT for brevity. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache and the series Fishy Tales.
Found on the way back from Parkville Mega. A few for me to finish off the series.
Thanks to Fishy Tales and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!
A great day out with Featherwaite, we completed the whole ROTF series with a few extra caches along the way, this was his biggest day.
Overall most of the finds weren’t to hard but some were a little difficult.
We signed the logbooks all as gf1411
We only had one issue with a property which was at 46/47 as a dog chased us along side the fence but we returned a bit later to sign the log books.

Found during an awesome caching day along the ROTF trail with gridge98, with a total of 280 caches for the day (a personal best) in exactly 7 hours (an average of one find in every 1 minute, 30 seconds). Most caches were found relatively easily and in good condition, signing the logs as "gf14/11". Thanks for the cache and series Fishy Tales!
Out with woolwood9 and we enjoyed getting some more finds in the area.
Thanks for putting this cache out and showing us around! SL
We enjoyed the ROTF trail today. Some tough finds and we had 3 DNF's but found all the rest of the series, lots of long grass and annoying grass seeds in places but we had a fun time collecting the caches.

Found as part of My Annual leave SA adventure, I had a great time touring the Yorke Peninsula and other areas of the state. I met up with Roostaman and Mrs Rooster in Adelaide and we headed over to tackle the ROTF trail and a few other local caches. No offence but the ROTF reminded Me of something My late Mate dak's Emu Mob told me once " it locks like they tossed it out the window and hit mark as they drove past" had to laugh at the memory. Thanks Fishy Tales for the cache.

Emily~angel boys attacking ROTF this weekend, two of them taking it in turns driving which is a very pleasant change to the old days of just dad, although its now a cache of just one more, just one more, I can drive one more.....oops missed lunch, missed dinner.....just one more.....
The little childhood antics haven't escaped though, and at one cache one of the boys was too busy playing with the electric fence while walking along and apparently looking for the cache, but he didn't see the tree that stood right infront of him.....yep he is now sporting a scratched up face with an embarrassing story to go with it that we promised not to tell anyone.
Loved the series today thankyou, been a great boys weekend away.

We are on our way home from a 10 day holiday in Whyalla swimming with the giant cuttlefish and had a day up our sleeve. Meningie seemed like a good place to spend it.

With not a lot of finds already on the ROTF series it was time today for an early start and down to Meningie to see how many I could add to the found list. Was not expecting to complete it but just before sunset was able to find the very last and with no DNFs am very pleased to now have the full set.
Nearly all were thankfully very quick finds with GPSr staying in the car most of the time but when required most co-ords were generally good.
Thanks for the cache and series Fishy Tales

This was a real last minute decision for us to join maccamob for a day of caching doing some of this trail, which we are really happy it all came together. We met up in Meningie and maccamob were kind enough to chauffeur us around for the day. We were hoping to get 80 caches (what we needed to collect all the “Little Creatures souvenirs”) but had heard bad reports about the hides and coordinates so were not over confident.
Turned out to be the opposite, we found a multitude of hides, most with excellent coordinates and all up got 210 of this series with no DNF’s , plus a couple of others thrown in. We even located 2 containers at #32, #42, #112 and #117 so consolidated them into the original containers.
All in all this was a very enjoyable series made even better by being able to do it with good friends. We laughed all the way, found some different style of hides, saw some deer cross the road on our way north and kangaroos on our way back.
Many thanks Fishy Tales for the great trail and quite interesting cache pages, we now know a lot more about past Popes than we used to, which was next to nothing, and were quite surprised at the differing lengths of time in office.
Apologies for the generic log but when you do so many in a day it is hard to keep each one separated. We will be back to finish the others soon.
To save room in the log books we signed as “mmTC” or TCmm with the date.

Two cachers with the name "Wayne" set out to do the series today, Joined by Murray and KB, who became honarary Wayne's for the day.
We have established on previous outings that the collective noun for a group of Wayne's is a "disaster", so a Disaster of Waynes (logged as DOW) logged the series today.
It was cold, wet, the unsealled section of road was slippery and at times it rained, but we persisted and found all but two of them. The two that weren't found were replaced in the obvious location at GZ, which matched the hint and clearly previously hosted the cache.
The co-ordinates on all of the caches seems 'reasonable" with at least one GPS in our group agreeing with the caches final location, even if the others didn't.
Thanks for a great excuse to get out on an otherwise unattractive day.

Catching up on logs from my adventurous day as an honorary member of the Disaster of Wayne's. Thanks for the hide.
It was during the last week that Any Mules of the Disasters of Wayne variety suggested a day of caching down past Tailem Bend. The plan was to attack the ROTF series and then caches around Meningie and Tailem Bend if time allowed. With Moneydork and E.B. joining us, we cached under the name ‘Disasters of Wayne', or DOW for short with caches being signed under that name for the ROTF series. We made good progress with the series, completing it much faster than I expected. With Moneydork not having any more caches to find in the area (I recall he now had less that 2,000 to find for the whole of South Australia) he left us to head home. The rest of us kept going in the pursuit of more finds getting some fun finds that were definitely worth a few favourite points. As the sun set in the sky, K.B. decided to call it a day and headed back to her accommodation, with Any Mules and myself powering on. It wasn’t that much later that we too decided that we had had enough and decided to make our way home, well we made a few stops for caches on the way back but what do you expect. And enjoyable day was had with a massive find count as a reward.

Two of the "Disaster of Waynes" (Moneydork and myself) had planned a trip do hit this series, but we delayed it until the Magical Creatures promotion was on - an easy way to clock up all the required finds and get all the souvenirs in one easy trip.
A call was put out on Faceache for any other willing participants to join us and Munja and K.B. both answered positively.
We met up with K.B. at Tailem Bend and grabbed a cache or two on the way to the series.
We had some good laughs, some slips on the wet ground and some troubles locating some of the caches which were placed in different locations than indicated by the hints. But we managed to find them all.
Logged as "DOW" (short for "Disaster of Waynes").
Thanks for the cache Fishy Tales. Found on 7 Jul 2018.

Suscoe and our good friends Phetlern headed out this afternoon to see how far we would go before the end of our day of caching.
We had arrived early this afternoon in Meningie and after getting organised at our accommodation we set off in search of ROTF caches.
The weather was quite cold and rainy at times.
But there was sunshine between the showers and so that kept us moving along.
Quiet roads today out here.
Thanks to Fishy Tales for this hide and trail.

With very little understanding of Papal history, it was more our passion for caching that drew us and our fellow Victorian caching buddies the Suscoe duo on a pilgrimage across the border to complete the Fisherman's Ring.
This afternoon we set out in cool and windy weather to get a feel for the series, among varied and interesting countryside, we found the first 80 ROTF caches, all of similar presentation except 2 which seem to have shrunk to film canister size
Thanks 'Fishy Tales' for placing this interesting series.

Again our apologies for the generic logs.
Today we returned to the trail to finish the fifteen caches left. These were left due to failing light and the need to be elsewhere. It has taken us quite some time to get to the end but if you were inclined you could do the whole trail in one day. You will soon learn what the hints mean and occasionally they will be correct. LOL.

06/05/2018 A big day today with the final 222 caches of the series found. Managed to find another couple of farmers enquiring to what was going on. They are now suitably informed on geocaching. TFTC.
Getting a few caches in the area. I realised on this trip I must be spoiled for scenery in nz. Not so hot today which was good. TFTC
