Was in the area so thought id check if cache is still there after many DNFs. Indeed it seems to be missing and there was no sign of it where I found it last time.
Didnt find a cache or a cute possum. Thanks GreyHams for placing and maintaining the cache for our enjoyment.
Found this one earlier in the year with WesternSydWanderer before I was a fully fledged GCer but no luck today on my own
First find of the day for International Geocaching Day 2024 . Quick find thanks to a rather shiny bag of right next to the cache! Cache is in good condition.Found with TC216.
After a disappointing morning found this easily. I have contacted owner about container needs attention
It was much easier to find the cache than it was to find a parking spot. Wow this area is so busy this morning. Today I needed to log some caches for a personal challenge and this was one of the ones I found. Thanks for adding to the enjoyment of our game GreyHams. SL and replaced as found.
Great little cache.I may have found it or perhaps a cousin or predecessor. Thanks CO
Found itIndeed this place is green but not the nicest park indeedFor us celebrating cache number 700!
A nice easy find just up from the hotel. The last full day in fabulous Canberra after a 4 night visit. Jetlag is still crippling so I thought I would mop up a few local caches.Greetings from Oxfordshire, England. Find number 1917.
Beautiful autumn day! I was going to race past, but decided to linger and check out the cache, and I'm so glad I did. TFTC
Pleased to add this one to my first Canberra caches, while taking an evening stroll from my hotel. TFTC
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Back in Canberra for ANZAC day. With a late start trying to catch up on some lost sleep from yesterdays early start for the Dawn service. Headed out locally to convert a few smilies.TFTC GreyHams
It's very well kept. Not difficult to find. Thanks for this geocache, my kid was happy to find it.
In Canberra to attend the Capital Geo Bash mega event. I attended the Queanbeyan Mega event a couple of years ago which is when I did a lot of the touristy things. This trip was more focused on Geocaches. There has been an abundance of new high quality caches published since my last visit so more than enough to keep me busy. A quick find here thanks to the helpful hint. Thank you GreyHams, for placing Hanging In Haig for the geocaching community.# # #14564 # #
During our weeks trip with Bare Foot Guru, Infoferret and Trinity to the Canberra Mega we logged as a combination of "BFG, CF, BIC, BITC" depending on who we were caching with at the time. The trip took us on a flight to Melbourne first, then a drive to Canberra, followed by a drive to Sydney before flying out again. Where possible I will add commentary to each find about the cache. Thanks for all the caches, hides and effort put into hiding and maintaining them.As we were searching for this something moved and BFG jumped back. On closer inspection a little Possum had made a nice little home for himself in the tree. Cautiously removed and signed and replaced the cache.
Quick find by Geomum! Had to walk off dinner so why not pick up some caches too TFTC

Attending our first mega event in Australia. A nice sunny day for doing some caching after visiting the event area. Thanks for the cache! Greetings from Finland
Couple of Finnish vanlifers traveling around this beautiful Australia with Matilda the campervan. Stopping here and there to enjoy life without any plans. After getting everything set up and visiting some friends, Mntti1 and I began our travels five months ago. After visiting Melbourne and Great Ocean road we worked for couple of weeks in Myrtleford for hop harvest season. We finished the season couple of days ago and made it to Canberra just on time for Mega! Today we visited some caches, one of them this. Before lunch we parked our van nearby and found this! Thank you for the cache!
We were on our way to grab a bit to eat and saw this nearby cache. We made our way to the GZ and were rewarded with a quick find. TFTC.
Here in Canberra for the Capitol Geobash. Really enjoying exploring the inner north suburbs.Quick, easy find.
Easter Saturday 2024 find. Here for the Capital Geobash. Cool place to hide the cache. Tftc
In Canberra for GeoBash 2024. Had an awesome time and joined up with Rebel Acts for some epic caching fun. We tackled tricky puzzles, found loads of caches, and had a great time meeting old and new caching buddies. This is one of the caches we found whilst in Canberra.Cheers for the cache.
March 29, 2024 11:33Found during Capital GeoBash 2024 with AidenELTFTC GreyHams, this is find #23 for me. Aza34
In town for the GeoBash mega event, and Im having a quiet today, visiting relied in the morning and a spot of geocaching in the afternoon. This was a quick find for me - I happened to be at just the right angle. Alongside the cache was a pair of shoes in the tree, not related I assume! Well, one was in the tree, and one on the ground, so I put them both on the ground to avoid muggles reaching into the tree and finding the cache.
Easy find! Was at the right angle making it easy to see! There are some shoes in the tree and I think a couple of possums ???
This was a nice quick and easy find and both names were soon added to the log. All is good with the container and log. Thanks for the cache placement go to GreyHams.
In Canberra for GeoBash 2024 and out caching with TanSaf in this interesting park. We found some shoes in the tree, then the cache - I hadnt seen that type of container before. Thanks GreyHams for the cache
Attending the Canberra Geobash over the Easter long weekend and found this one on Good Friday afternoon.TFTC
Out and about with My good caching mate Omegaman1971, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today. Thanks GreyHams for the cache.
Found while out and about with Skylizard while in the area. Nice park, a quick find. TFTC
Out and about with goingplaces2 and walked along here to make a quick find as there were no muggles around. All is good with the container and log. TFTC.
We are at Canberra and seeing so many geocachers every where we go. We have had a mixed bag of DNF's, Finds together with we have no idea if the cache is missing or if it is in place hiding in the foliage of the trees, Our haul of geocachers have included basic 1 T x 1 D up to 4.5 in both difficulity and terrain. All in all we have had a fantastic day. SL TFTC
On our bikes today. We were suppose to be having a non caching day, going to visit the sister-in-law, however she had to cancel due to important client meetings. The price of being a small business owner. Hall was on the cards but we decided to leave that for another day and go into the lake, picking up what we could and adding a few Ad Labs.Found it just hanging around.Total Caches Found 15669TFTC GreyHams
Something special or unusual goes here:A nice quick find for Mr. Muff. The Generic Bit:The Capital Geobash Adventure 2024. Day 5: Cruising Canberra Today myself, Anymules and Muff1 set out to try and find a few caches. A lot of puzzles were solved over many months preparing for this trip so we wanted to grab a few of those. So we cruised around just following our noses and finding caches. Today it was a real case of all those that wander are not lost. ***Thanks GreyHams for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
I found your D1.5/T1.5 Micro Traditional called Hanging In Haig on 27 March 2024. It was find #18899 for me. Thank you GreyHams for placing this cache for our enjoyment in the wonderful state of Australian Capital Territory.
Today I had a plan on grabbing a variety of caches and all with a varying degree of types and difficulties. There is a great number of caches with special attributes and d/t's around town. For me it was an early start and I first took off to grab a cache and a virtual after I had fueled up at the local servo. I then raced off to grab a few more before I had to meet up with my caching buddy of the day Grannysmith. We had a huge day and a lot of laughs, there were few stories to catch up on and some great caches.Logs were signed and caches replaced as found. Thanks for the hides.
TFTC smile 19788 out and about on sunny day in Canberra with so much to do signing as 5 for Qld what a great team we make and lots of laughter and fun Thank you GreyHams for placing this cache for our enjoyment
This cache supposed to be my/our 2nd cache in Australia . But as I explained in my log of Coggan's Bakery (GC9PVZX) I had to make a detour to buy a pen. Although I found it 2nd in Australia, it will be the 3rd to be logged of in Australia. Nevertheless it was a nice find next and adjacent to some sporting shoes.Hope they will be still there for the next finder. TFTC.(team) HatafatFrom the Netherlands (a.k.a. Holland )
Ive had one of those weekends where I have a hankering for a good steak. Tonight I took myself out to an iconic pub in the local area. After a nice scotch fillet steak, salad and a glass of red, Ive wandered around looking for a few geocaches. This is my first find. Now Im going home to bed. Thanks for the cache!
TFTF first one in ACT, was not camo, container was open and visable, pair of shoes and other items in the tree near the cache
Found quickly on a walk before heading to the multicultural festival this weekend! Tftc! Sabo + JJ ?
I wanted to check out the local markets in Haig Park this morning, so I ventured over past the roadworks and discovered a limited set of largely overpriced stalls from which I selected a $4.50 orange juice - oh well, at least the walk was nice! The nearest trad had someone in a camping chair seated directly in front of it, so I opted to reroute over to this one instead.Far fewer muggles here and I managed to reach the cache on an angle that blocked me from the view of most people who were lingering in the area.I suspect I'm going to have to get used to spotting hides in these trees, although this one wasn't too bad and I was signing the log in no time (however, as previous finders have acknowledged, it is looking rather full). Thanks to GreyHams for hiding this one here!
Having a great time in Canberra. Weather is just perfect. Walked about 8 miles today. Suddenly saw this nice park along the way and stopped by to get a couple of caches. Nice hide! Tftc!
Nice quick find being careful not to disturb the local wildlife - see picture. Log is full and needs replacing. Unfortunately, I didn't have a spare one. TFTC
Thanks for the cache. Have been staying nearby since Sunday but wanted to grab it when I only had a moment to spare. So after several street walks, today was the day for this closest cache. Quick find. Thanks for placing and maintaining. Greetings from New Zealand
First Aussie cache!TFTC - look out for the wombat guarding it (no pen so put a picture of log on)-travelling from Newcastle, UK
This cache is about a hundred metres from my first 'home' in Canberra - the long-gone Kythera Motel. June 1974 seems like an awful long time ago!
