Well, that’s the after work to-do list done now - picked up the blouse I purchased from Facebook Marketplace (hope it fits!) and have found my cache of the day. Now it’s off to Friday work drinks at the Forest Lake Tavern.
Note: this cache was virtually out on the open again so I’ve added some additional extra cover. It has been around since 2017 so it’d be good to see it continue. I’ll message the CO.

Todays mission was to drop off a trackable I have been carrying around for a couple of months. I love it when I can meet a goal! Hubby had fun while we were here.
Back in Australia visiting our daughter who is studying at NSW, catching up with friends we have made over the years and of course, going to soccer games as we timed our visit to coincide with the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Took a bit of time, as this was my first effort. Was a little bit tricky, as not as accessible as instructions suggested, but got there with help from a friend.
Second attempt was successful. Reconsidered a few of my assumptions. TFTC.
Attempted to find with my 5 yr old son. Not 100% sure where to focus the search as I could interpret the cryptic description several ways. A few possible spots were a bit difficult with a young child, but I might have just been looking in the wrong spot. Might come back one day for a sense of closure

TFTC.Great spot. Have also taken the trackable and will drop in another cache. The container was a little damp but being a good mumma I cleaned it.
Found it again!!

Out for a geocaching afternoon with GeoM and this was our 3rd find. Took a while to figure out the clues but after a bit of prodding we finally found it. TFTC!
We all had to have a go on the flying fox, while the others were flying back and forth I made the find. The log was wet but otherwise in good order. And now that the important business is taken care of it is my turn to act like a flying fox. Tftc uggbastie ️
Out and about caching today with joojoo57, IolantheK and T-Tech. Found many caches and thank you to all CO's for placing them there. We were successful in finding them all. TFTC
T-Tech and I spent the day with joojoo57 and Richmond Lad. We had a plan to tackle 12 caches and an AL in the area around Forest Lake. Happily there are now smileys everywhere!
Last one for the day. The fellas got distracted searching in the wrong spot, but my phone took me further off and I made the find there. Both T-Tech and I had a go on the flying fox

I have come to realise from IolantheK that joojoo57 is a good organiser and today was
no exception as we progressed from cache to cache with no DNFs to boot
IolantheK wasn't to be fooled by the obvious, but she made the find and not in the most obvious place

I enjoyed visiting some of the trails in this area today. I came here first but there were two school boys sitting by the flying fox, so headed off to the other nearby caches. When I returned about an hour later, they were gone, so made for a quick find. Tftc
Kids had fun playing with the fox in the dark! A great, easy find after dinner with geokid_tobias and geokid_madison.
Found today with Binkybelle. Gas was out by 13mtrs. Stick to the description given. Tall wood.......
A good one to end the circuit on.

Couldn't resist, had to have a couple of turns on the flying fox cache is in perfect condition, left a toy.
Have just moved to this area so decided to take my son for our first geocache in Forest Lake. What a wonderful little area you led us too. We live close but would never have known this was here so thankyou very much!
The quickest find of the morning after spotting the obvious SPOS on arrival. Business was done and dusted and I was in and out in less than a minute.
As I headed off, I spotted a very nice piece of cache material which swiftly accompanied me to the car.

Stopped by on an afternoon of driving practice with the daughter today. I’m loving that she’s a captive participant and caches prove the ideal destination on our drives.

A nice easy find with tic toc. A great piece of wire for the kids to have fun. Will have to return sometime.
Found with stairman1. We needed a cache today and this one was close by. All good here. TFTC
Checked on GC and gave it a fresh coat of black paint and checked the condition of the logbook. Sharpened the pencil too.
7th cache for the day with Peppa and only one DNF - not too bad. Thanks for the cache.
My son found it. Shame we could not stay and play. Pretty easy but excellent cache
