Logs
Started with three dnf's this morning but finally found this one. Log is very wet and I couldn't sign it so I've included photo. TFTC
A short detour on me way back to camp tonight,
and I ended up at the end of the road
A quick drive-by-find as it turns out.
Not at all like a quail which is hard to find,
and disappears quickly when spotted

Cairns trip 2019. Day 20. This was the first of two transition days between Cairns and Pt Douglas. I went up to the table lands via Mareeba to Mt Molloy. Before I went far there was another cache just near the caravan park that I stopped at. This was nice and simple and the trees id not cause too much problem.
Thanks.

Went for a walk this morning from the nearby Coconut Resort. I didn’t find the two 4/5 star caches but I did find three others. Beautiful area and sometimes pretty steep. This one was an easy find. Thanks for hiding it here. Grtz from Holland
Quick one, good spot, maybe I could have picked a better time than school pickup though. TFTC Fullboar!0
We just spent our holidays in QLD and visited this cache. Thanks to the hint and good coordinates, the hiding place could soon be found.
Thank you for bringing and laying say the Moorhelmi's from Germany.

We were puzzling what a Quail may be. Then we found out that it obviously is a quite harmless[^] ground nesting bird rather than a carnivorous Quoll. After this inside, we could approach the hide much more relaxed and were able to fearlessly[^] grab the cache.

As luck would have it a truck came down the road and used the street end to do a ubolt so we decided that as it was late afternoon we had better have our lunch time sandwiches. After he had left it was a quick grab. SL TFTC
I set out from my motel this afternoon in the pouring rain, as I was desperate for a find!!! (Trying to fill my daily find matrix) and having worked till midday and back on duty at 2000 I didn't have much time. (having to sleep at some point) So I scanned the map for a quick and easy find and close to the motel, only 3km as the crow flies. Soon after leaving the motel my geo phone decided to give up on me and my GPS was disgusted with all the cloud cover, but I was determined to try and find a cache for the day. I remembered the way from the map and walked to GZ and when I arrived I looked in the obvious spot and was delighted that the cache was waiting for me!!! (who needs a GPS!) and after a quick cache dance and signing I replaced and started heading back, Thanks Fullboar> for the cache and for the daily smile
Drove up from Charters today and dropped the eldest at a music workshop nearby. Quickly located the quail cache today, signed and replaced thanks
Out for a few smilies today. This was next and soon had the cache in hand. Signed the log and returned the cache to where I found it.

TFTC. GPSr is pointing me all over the place today, but the hint got me to the correct location.
No walking to this hide even though the GPS said that it was only 400+ metres away. We took a scenic drive and found ourselves in a quiet area where the supplied additional hint provided guidance as to where we should focus our attention.
Thanks Fullboar for this hide.

On a great day visiting family and grabbing a few caches, this one was a nice easy find, a great little dido. TFTC
Headed out after dinner to locate this new cache... The GZ is perfect for after dark caching may prove tricky during the day..
