This *axe and pick* series geocache was previously solved back in 2021. There were ground tremors as I worked through this puzzle, and uncovering a few more local facts.Today, I was stopped at this geocache, and the cache was a quick find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [georode](https://coord.info/PR2V198) for the cache placement, and [kolour](https://coord.info/PRDR6H9) for its ongoing maintenance.----------Today, I headed west to Brookfield and Pullendale area and targeted the *axe and pick* geoart series that were accessible from the road (or short walks).I started in Kenmore and Kenmore Hills, and then ventured north to Brookfield where I walked/jogged some of the trails in Gold Creek Reserve. It was then time to pick up the *axe and pick* geoart series in Upper Brookfield and Pullendale, and then another enjoyable walk in Moggill Conservation Park. My remaining time was then utilised to visit Bellbowrie and Moggill for a few last geocaches. A terrific winter blue sky day!

Today West Brisbane time I had few hammer and sickle geoart to find. It was a park and grab day we found quite a few today. Georode thank you for hiding these caches and Kolor for maintaining them for the caching community.

Brislions, GreenGecko 1 & I are out today in the western suburbs to take on some great parkn grabs from this series. Most were very good with coords. The ground is quite wet and a bit of sloshing about was required in some dots to retrieve caches.

26-May-24
Muggle65, Brislions and l decided to grab the roadside caches in this series. M65 and l have only about 5 walking ones left but they were DNFs from earlier walks. We picked a beautiful day to do it! Thank you for a fun cache

House sitting out west, so taking the opportunity to do some fossicking while in the area.

Today I went for a drive and collected a few of the puzzle caches that I have solved recently. I knew what to do here but it took a while to finally get the numbers to agree with checker.

Cache was quickly found. The tether has broken off this one so hopefully it doesn’t go wandering.

Thanks georode for this tricky puzzle and for maintaining all the caches in this great series!

Out and about with geodoggo in Brookfield and Pullenvale today to grab a bunch of caches.
A hint from a zoom meeting during covid put me on the right track for this one, although I still had a few false starts.
The cache was an easy find, log signed, all replaced as found.
Thanks georode for the puzzle and the cache.

Thanks kolour for performing the maintenance!

Solved a few weeks ago. I was out this way delivering meals on wheels, and had the time to drive a bit further to find this cache. Easy parking and quick find at gz. As others have said, the logbook was damp, so I have sat it in the sun to dry as much as possible before signing and heading back. I placed a silica gel in the container. A lovely drive out here. 31/5/2023 Find #6131
SaintsMadHouse and I decided that today we would tackle some caches in this area. We were particularly after some of the Indy Jones series, and decided to throw in caches in the similar vicinity of course. With most of our planned goal achieved, we checked the map and decided to tackle a number of these caches in this section out here.
With the first one we targeted missing due to some serious new fencing, this one was next on the list. We made a quick find here, although the logsheet was quite wet.
Thanks for the cache georode.

Logsheet is wet but able
To be written on with a supertank pen

I’ve been meaning to head out this way to start collecting this series for ages and finally got around to it today. One of the speediest finds today. We did have to be careful when rolling the log as it was wet. Container looks to be in good condition still. Thanks georode

A quick find but a very wet log book. TFTC

Continuing our Pick and Hammering adventure and Barb2e had this one before I was even out of the car! TFTC!

A real push to finally solve and find this Geoart…

I was on the phone most of the way here, and it was a pleasant drive… I was surprised at GZ as a muggle pulled up behind me and then disappeared up a long driveway… weird…

Tftc Georode, these puzzles have been solved for some time now. Thanks lockdown for making us sit around solving them.
Today a drive in this scenic area. Beautiful homes, and nice bushland.

Out and about today to grab a few caches and to continue a new challenge I have set myself. I dropped the girl at school and headed over to Moggill way to grab some caches. I started with a multi cache and then went for a drive to grab an adventure lab, before heading off and looking at some of the hammer and pick series.

After the multi and the adventure lab I went for a drive around the Brookfield area. Such a nice area and very quiet around here today. This one was nicely tied in place, which is probably a good idea as it seemes there has been a lot of water around here recently. I signed the log and put the cache back in its hide. Thank you for the puzzle and the cache hide.

Given the instruction "solve the puzzle." I had some idea of the theme, but couldn't quite get there until last night when I found some useful information. As they say, "Google is my friend". Fortunately some promising numbers tumbled out which the checker thought were pretty good to, so given a couple of other caches solved around the district, we added this one to our drive today. Found OK, and added to the log. I love these drive-to caches, particularly on very humid days like today. TFTC, georode.

26-Sep-21
After completing my walk at Gold Creek I went for a drive to add some more of this geoart to my finds.
Last I was here there was a python close to where the cache should be.
Just realised that I as of today have more finds in Australia than in Sweden

We learnt a little more about geological sciences while solving this puzzle. Finally we had the opportunity to be out in the area over a couple of trips to collect all the puzzles we have solved over many months.
The hide was exactly according to the photograph in the hint and we found everything to be safe and dry. We have added our name to the log sheet.
Thanks Georode,
Domsky

With a number of caches left in this series still to find, I had planned to head out yesterday afternoon to visit some more, but a flat tyre on Victor Del Prado put paid to that idea. With more free time today I took that opportunity to accomplish what I had failed to do yesterday. Discovered the cache as well as some out of the way roads I had not travelled down before. TFTC

We once again parked very close to this cache and Mrs Woodyrothwell told me she was feeling a bit hot to get out of the car. I was a bit worried about her although we have both been quietly preying it was the start of menopause.

We’re not worried about somehow having another kid because we are too old for that sort of jazz. We now like babysitting other kids where they can be shipped back at the end of the day. I like babysitting even more because I can go to the pub.

The real reason we have been preying for menopause is because it’s too hard to keep track of three cycles in the household. I need some sort of calendar for dumb men so I can tell the difference between when my daughters give me a cuddle for emotional support or they are cuddling me because they want money. Men are stupid!

I was happy my wife was OK because our day was almost done. I knew she would start feeling better when I pulled out my credit card for lunch. tftc

I had a fantastic day today collecting a bunch of caches that have been on my to-do list for a while, and this was one of them!
Thanks E_smiley, Snickersallan, and TeamDFL for helping make the day so fun!

Keen to finish the Science Geo Art, we're back again. Not even the pouring rain prevented us from the adventure.

TFTC georode. Really enjoyed solving the puzzle and collecting the caches. We were able to collect the clue from this cache

Cheers, E

Visiting the picturesque Brookfield area with E_Smiley and EatSleepCacheRepeat_ for the second time to complete this beaut geoart series. It was a good team effort including some PAF's to solve all puzzles and most enjoyable finding them together.
Having completed the walking trail section in the morning, a quick lunch break, then finishing off with some good park and grab caches in the light rain.

Sunny with a touch of a breeze and toddled off to the western burbs to do some manual labour with a hammer and pick This series was solved collaboratively and some puzzles took a bit of work before the numbers fell out. The aim of the game today is mostly drivebys and had a fine time herbing along the country roads.

Good thing I’m having more eye work done soon as failed to see the bleeding obvious on the first pass Tethered and in plain sight for those who are not as cache blind as me.

Yeah a bunch of thinking went on here, it’s a miracle we aren’t skating in the corner with some of the georode puzzles, they really stretched and shook us in a surprisingly impressive way. Georode ‘rocks’ (is that fitting or what?)....re the pick up, I can say the adventure with vegan cachers was targeted and enjoyable and ended at subway so all in all a successful day! Tftc

A surprise message this morning, from Miss_Direction had us up & primed for an assault on some 'roadside' georode caches from the Hammer & Pick Geo-Art.
After a little recent collaboration we were armed with the full compliment of final coordinates having, AT LAST, put the final puzzle to bed! Smile
Trinity, Jenni, Linda, Dennis & Winter set out for a day of fun & adventure & hopefully a bucketful of smilies too! LOL ...

Shaky?
The puzzle drove us to distraction & drink, should be called Delirium Tremens! Smile

Despite a muggle truck being parked just around the bend we managed to retrieve, sign & replace without any dramas.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Last find before making our way home. Luckily this one wasn't too challenging to find as we were pretty much spent after a very big day!

Thursday. The SPs were out around the Pullenvale area today. Another nice quickish find for us today. We are enjoying this series and finding these caches in such a beautiful area too. Log was signed and cache replaced. We are remembering to jot down the little codes inside too!

This was the 13th of 22 caches found on today's trip.

Thanks ***georode***, for showing us this place. Smile

Day 2 on the Pick and Axe collection. Today we had planned a huge walk but the weather forecast was not nice, so it turned to the day of park and grabs. We had success on all bar one which requires a more detailed look. We also found something that made us grin for an upcoming trip.

Day 2 of the Geoscience pick up trail. Going for all the easy looking grabs today because of the threat of rain. All caches found fairly quickly except one. On to a big walk or two to get the rest!

One of my solvings and quick find on a gorgeous Sunday morn!

Doing an autumn clean out of solved puzzles. Today traveled out west with Gcoven to collect more of the solved pick 'n' hammer GeoArt series. This puzzle was eventually solved by Gcoven who took the time to do the research and was rewarded with a shaky green light.

This was the first stop of the morning, only having to dodge the mamils and owls on their treadlies. Did drive past a quaint morning market but it wasn't quite the right time for a gourmet toasted sandwich. Maybe next time around lunch time. Thanks for placing and maintaining this series georode.

11-Mar-18
As I was heading over this way for the Kenmore event and I have a very long list of solved but not found puzzles, despite not really having done much puzzling for the past few months, I decided to try to whittle that list down somewhat.

Again, some Googling was required but my initiall Gooling was insufficient so this one took a little longer. I got there in the end though. I found a good place to turn around near GZ and made a quick find

08-Mar-18
Oops, looks like I forgot to log this cache from a little while ago. The puzzle was not too tricky as I recall, but I couldn’t shake a sense of déjà vu at the GZ. I felt that I had searched this area as part of a jetski attempt a while ago... but how could I have missed the cache if it was here then? Hmm... it’s a geo mystery. TFTC where all is fine.

Another Sunday out in the Western 'burbs collecting more pick 'n' hammer GeoArt. After parting company with Gcoven and TeamARF following a hike and some park n grabs, I continued on grabbing remaining solved puzzles while time still allowed.

I enjoyed this quiet spot, so after making a quick grab I had my lunch in the shade by the creek. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache georode. Discover our TB

At the first quick scan it all did not make much sense. At the second, closer look a promising lead was quickly discovered and some reasonable coords appeared quickly. After the final Christmas shopping we decided to take a little relaxing detour.

I finally had some time to try and put a dent in some of the outstanding puzzles, and noted that there were still some unfound. I set about solving, and quickly came up with 2 thoughts about what might be going on here. After some more searching, I came up with something that meant I was definitely on the right track with one of those thoughts. Soon enough I had the green tick from the checker.
I wanted for a break in the cricket, and headed out for the quick find. Happy there was a clean sheet indicating an **FTF**! woohoo! Thanks for the puzzle and hide.
