Trouve ! / Found it ! Merci geraldinenz pour la cache "Little" hike to Mount Somers today. I had some caches with interesting prices on the way. My knees remember the descent, very steep... But the view is worth it. I was able to find the first caches without problems but after a while, there was no way to find the boxes except the last one. I didn't have enough boxes on me to put everything back, so I prioritized the highest boxes, checking again on the way down if I still couldn't find anything. I'm adding a few photos to help future researchers, where I placed the boxes.5049th cache found.Thank you geraldinenz for the cache
A nice cache to find on our walk up Mt Somers ; I left a TB that I picked up from a cache on Mt Kosciuszko in Australia just before Christmas.
After numerous delays finally able to do a tramp up Mt Somers. Headed up the track at 7am. TFTC
Great to stop at the cache for a break, could have done with a few more caches before getting here; TFTC
With both kids away on an overnighter MrsTG and I decided to come out for a hill walk. Haven't tackled Mt Somers before so headed on out. A midmorning start so weren't aiming for the summit, summit junction was the goal.
Nice to stop for a breath......No breeze and cloud burning off to a relatively hot day!

Sore legs now. Decided a couple of days ago to knock the south face route up Mt Somers off. Grabbed caches along the way as I made my way slowly up. Great views. Clear skies.
Great day for a wander uphill thanks for the cache. Didn’t bring anything to write with. Photo available.
After slogging up from the car park we stopped briefly here to find this cache. No problems. TFTC
We wanted to go to the top and collect most of these caches, but unfortunately the weather was closing in and we were not brave enough to finish the mission. However the first lot was found and the rest will come at a later day. TFTC
Many thanks for showing us this walk! It is not so easy to find just on the way through the country such nice places. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Hamburg Germany
I think I was getting tired here. I looked in the right place first but didnt but not very well after trying other places I sat down had a rest and read the description then had a proper look and found it. Thanks for the cache geraldinenz

For two days we are stationed in Staveley, a very very small village. Today we tried to go a little up in direction to the summit. But after cache number one we decided to go back. This box we found in a easy way.

Our first visit to new zealand, our fourth day.
It was not exhausting here. But that should come.

Plan "a" was to go to Fairlie and lake opuha to tidy up the new caches and a couple of ftfs . but then I noticed the dice series were still waiting to be found so plan "b" on the track by 10 at the cache by 10.15 this series was a bonus for the walk up nice easy find tftc
#3,120: Mt. Sommers Smiley!
I came out to this one with MrCuddlyBricks and Tandem4 on a fine January day, since there were some new FTFs to be had along an excellent track. We were successful in our quest, and had a great time! Thanks for bringing us here!

On a first to find mission for the other cases is this one had already been found quickly spotted from afar and minister get to the zone lickety-split although feeling the pinch already definitely a challenge and finding out that my fitness level isn't as high as I thought but a challenge in its own right trekking on to the next one which it will be a first to find so hopefully we'll find a nice clean login that one what a great day and thank you so much for giving us this extra challenge. On this mission is myself 8 min after nt4 who's new to the caching game but somewhat enjoying it already

We reached the carpark and Lt. Caine checked for geocaches around us. We were surprised to find one without logs, so we went on that track first!
Walking uphill took longer than expected and some parts of the track were really slippery, but we finally made it to GZ and found not only a decent container, but also a log with the first row blank. Great spot along the track - TFTC!

ReCached and totally felt like hiking for a short period of time today. Obviously, Mt. Somers Walkway was just a bit too long for that, but the area looked exciting on the map and we also noticed that this cache has just been published a few days ago. We were up for that! Walking uphill took longer than expected and some parts of the track were really slippery, but we finally made it to GZ and found not only a decent container, but also a log with the first row blank. Great idea to hide a few geocaches along the walkway, I'll leave an FP here. TFTC geraldinenz!
