Visited this side of the city to attend the morning events.I then spent the day caching (& Op Shopping) to earn points towards the Cosmic Quest souvenir/s.I joined the unnsys for the last few caches around this section of the river. It was a lovely walk in the sunshine.Spotted this one immediately and like the camo so dropping another FP here In the vast expanse where stardust gleams,Our friends from space have cosmic dreams.Their spaceship drifts through endless night,In search of wonders, bold and bright. But oh, their fuel is running low,To distant stars they need to go.A mission grand, a quest so trueThey turn to us, and well come through. With maps in hand and hearts aglow,We seek the caches, high and low.Hidden treasures in the earth,Fueling dreams of interstellar worth.Through forests deep and mountains grand,Well find the gems that they demand.Their ship will soar with newfound might,Exploring realms beyond our sight. So lets unite and lend a hand,For cosmic friends across the land. With every cache and hidden prize,Well help them reach the starry skies.TFTC allister w

Out in this neck of the woods again today, trying to create a sea of yellow in the area……slowly but surely
Not able to sign the log as it’s too wet (pic attached). Drained water from both containers but needs a little CO TLC
Gets a FP from me gif the hide

A well made cache which was soon found and the log roll soon discovered, am posting a photo of the log as it was too wet to sign, a hole drilled in the bottom to let water drain out may be the answer. Ffavourite point left for the cache. -----TFTC

After the Freddo Vietnamese event I went out for some caches in the suburbs on foot around Norwood and St Peters, then some down south.

Saints and I put a hold on this little walk to find a special cache for find #2000. We returned afterwards to find this cache while we were in the area.

A nice hide here. Sign a little outdated though it seems...

Creative cache. Have a favourite point.

Cache retrieved and signed.

Thanks allister w for this cache.

This cache brings Goldy's total find count to 2001 on the 11th of November 2022.

The thought's of those who served our country are remembered and missed.

They shall grow not old,
as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them,
nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun
and in the morning
We will remember them.

Lest We Forget.

A sudden switch in type of cache container here, to keep us on our toes. I got a head start here by having found a very similar one in the city yesterday. I like this one better. FP for the craftsmanship, and also for a most enjoyable walk along the river. Thanks allister_w.

Today, jesswrigley and I headed south to start the day at Hackham West's CITO event. We then visited Onkaparinga River Recreational Park to hike the wetlands, and then headed towards Willunga for lunch. We returned via Port Noarlunga to complete that Adventure Lab, before heading home in the late afternoon. The weather gave us a beautiful spring day!

I managed to have my suspicions of this geocache upon seeing this sign from the back, and as it turned out, it was a very well constructed cache! Everything about this geocache was brilliant! Does the CO have now a workbench of miscellaneous geocache supplies fiddling with in making? Haha, well done; a Favourite Point awarded from me! The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [@allister w](http://coord.info/PR9ERXW) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

A nice walk was had along the flats out to this cache, no trouble was had and the cache was a nice and easy find

Today I headed south to Aldinga and mclarenvale to go for a bike ride and decided to collect a few caches on my way down to the area. 35 finds for the day plus a few labs.

Out and about with sir_spectre enjoying a lovely Saturday afternoon. Not many caches that he hasn't found around here but all new to me. Most were found without difficulty and logs quickly signed.
Thanks for showing me this great location for a walk.

25-Jun-20
After another depressing morning on the job hunt front, Rex persuaded me that we should go out and get some fresh air and caches. I thought he might like this area and he did, he galloped around and I think he probably walked about 10km and is now puffed out on my bed!
We found some great caches and I also really enjoyed the walk and keeping my iWatch streak going for June, aiming for a perfect month of closing the rings, well it would be nice to achieve something for the month!
We left a few caches to come back for another day, this job hunting thing is a long slog so I am sure there will be plenty of days Rex needs a walk.
This was the best find I have found in a while, excellent hide, had me scratching my head for a while locating the log! Got there in the end and was glad I didn't need the TOTT that was sitting in the car. TFTC allister w

Today is a public holiday, good day for geocaching. I & J plus the little one visited Onkaparinga River Recreation Park and Port Noarlunga Beach.
This is the sixth find of today. Fifth cache from the same owner.
Checked the obvious spots, with no cache. Noticed something, and it was the cache.
Great design. Worth a favourite point.
Signed the log sheet, and put it back.
Thanks for the great cache, allister w. One favourite point from us.

Last cache for this walk & the hint pointed us to the right direction.
Before I had a chance to search, CP had the cache in hand.
The cache is in need of a log, as the bits of paper won't last long.
Thanks for beinging us here allister w, a favourite

20-Jul-19
Quick find on this clever cache!! Unfortunately on opening it there was no log sheet …………….. we improvised with some very small pieces of paper clare007 had on her. They should do for another 3 or 4 finders but this will eventually need a check by the CO. Thanks for the hide …. a favourite!

Walk with the geo-pup, driven past and visited the nearby Scout hall many times, but never walked in this side of the park.

14-Apr-18
Ventured down south on a cold, wet and windy day Razz.
Took us awhile to find a way to the southern parking area and with a break in the drizzle, we decided to make the walk to this one Smile. Lots of erosion along the river bank and the trees gave us a good wind break, even making it to GZ without getting wet Cool.
Great camo, which had us worried about how to open it for awhile Surprised. TNLNSL.
The walk back to the car wasn't quite so great though [B)].
Thanks Allister W.

Canoed up the Onk with Dad in his canoe with electric motor, grabbing caches along the way. Lots of wading birds along the way.
Well constructed, fav point for the work gone into making this one. Signed log

Spent the afternoon caching with NurseyJulie in the southern suburbs, before taking her to the airport for her return journey to Qld after a weekend of motor racing. TFTC. Big Grin

05-Mar-18
I certainly miss out on all the fun. I was left at Flinders Hospital to follow up on an appointment with the driving clinic while hubby was taken for a drive by brisal5, not fair says I. I have been told they had an enjoyable walk and hubby spotted where he thought the cache may be hidden and it was there. S TFTC

05-Mar-18
I had attended the Adelaide 500 at the weekend and had the whole day today to do some annual caching in SA as my flight was later tonight. Brisal5 picked me up and we discussed where and what we might like to do for the morning. A quick check of project GC - how about completing my DT grid.
This was nearby a puzzle which I need to complete my grid. So a little walk down the path and along, we found a likely spot and a very well made cache. Nicely done. TFTC

05-Mar-18
Nurseyjulie was in town for the Adelaide 500 weekend. But now it was Monday and her flight home wasn't until later that night and so I offered to be keep her company for the morning until Firesafe could join us. Cool When I picked her up we soon discovered she only needed two caches to finish her D/T grid. So our mission for the morning was set. [:o)]
Having completed the mission nearby with the help of Muff1 and Firesafe we went for a stroll out to this cache. Razz
Mr. Muff1 made a bold call still 80 metres out as to the location of the cache. Surprised As it was he was right and zoomed straight into it. Smile I have seen a few of these but this is the best. [^] The little extra authenticity gets a favourite point from me. [:X]

**Thanks allister w for this cache. ** Big Grin

SO how are you arms?

Mine?

Why you ask?

Coz you are at the heavy end?

Can I put it down now?

Why?

Coz there's a cache over there....

Thanks to allister w and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

Came for a river walk tonight, spoilt by the ladders we had to carry halfway and the rain...
Nice cammo and hide...
TNLNSL
Thanks

I enjoyed this one - the walk and the cache. Well put together!!

04-Feb-18
That's a really good one !! We were in the area and decided to add another 300 meters to our walk ... the classic "one more" jejeej why not. The boys really enjoyed this hunt. TFTFun

04-Feb-18
Found at 15:40 with Andy Colombia whilst in the area. It was pretty hot out here today.
Love the camo.

25-Jan-18
Brad was in the area and while waiting for others went for a bit of a walk.
He was not expecting that! Excellent cache.
Step one was fine and then there was a slight pause until step 2 resulted in the prize.
Name added to the log and all replaced
Worth an FP Smile

While out doing a cache with the CO the other night, he mentioned that he was surprised I hadn’t done this one yet given it’s proximity. This morning on my way further down south I decided to make a small detour and have a warm up walk to start the day’s caching. Parked about 850m away and enjoyed a nice stroll along the edge of the river to GZ where a nice easy find was made (I’ve seen a number of hides like this before). Thanks for the cache allister w. Found on 20 Jan 2018 at 9:50 am. Find #5720. Now for the walk back to the geomobile to continue my journey.

13-Jan-18
After a lovely long lunch down at Aldinga I decided to stop for a walk on the way home...to walk off all the food I had consumed. Red Face
Always good to find a cache whilst walking, at least there is a purpose to the walk. [^]
Parked the car and set off on the little track that in places is disappearing into the river. Surprised
Didn't see much wildlife, but there were a few birds around as I made my way to GZ. Big Grin
Found the cleverly constructed cache, signed the log and headed back to the car. A nice 2km walk that got the heart rate up a bit and I felt good when I had finished. Cool
Thanks for the cache and the walk allister w a favourite. Smile

13-Jan-18
A lovely stroll this morning. I only saw one slytheran. Does that suprise you?

enjoyed the walk around here being careful of any sliding snakes, i liked the cache container.
thankyou

Grabbed Briana the explorer to do some of the newer caches in the area that neither of us had found.
Very cool container a favourite point from us.

07-Jan-18
After a false start up the wrong track. I had to climb down the hill and then bush bashing towards the cache for 600 metres. I saw some kangaroos but no sight of the snakes. Phew…

I went back to my car on the path, no more bush bashing. Lol

Brilliant container. Lots of effort went it to this one. Fav point from me.

Thanks allister w for the cache. Smile

Had some spare time to kill so decided to go for a stroll. Few fisherman out and about and no ant dance at GZ for me. Nice work on the cammo.

Find # 2797

25-Dec-17
found after the Murray Cachemas event on route to get the mini maker. Short walk down the trail to the cache and a quick find. Nicely themed cache and i reckon i found the cache you got the idea for this one from. No fisherpersons around or ants when i walked there. I did have the train pass by on the bridge as i walked to the cache but i don't think those muggles cared what i was doing.

21-Dec-17
Well it was a nice summer evening and we had dropped the kids off at my parents for the night and were planning on taking the dog for a walk on the beach when I remembered the text I had received a few days earlier informing me of Al's latest hide. So I had the geomissus navigate me to the closest parking spot and off we went. It didn't take long to spot the container once we reached GZ and after a quick thought of being gazumped by not having an appropriate tool I had it open and the log exposed. A quick sign and it was returned and we were off. TFTC mate.

FTF 8:05pm.

I dont normally chase FTF's, but a visit at the folks nearby gave me a reason to visit this part of the park south of the river and pick it up.

Never been here before, thanks for bringing me out this way.

Plenty of roos about this evening.

Magnificent effort with the cache - worthy of a fav point from me.

Beware future finders - GZ is ant central.
