Again due to to ill health and the tree where this cache has been hidden has decided to close up the gap where the cache has been since publication so again time to go.
Our first find today has been a while since we found a cache so very exciting for us ! Was a little wet from the rain we have had.
Christmas day caching, out for a stroll to wear off some of the masses of food consumed!
Now here's what I love about geocaching - discovering lovely natural areas like this, that I would otherwise not have known about. The pliers certainly did come in handy. Thank you very much for bringing me here!
P.s the note about barkers eggs gave me a good laugh - it's an expression I have only ever heard my brother say!

Geo son was to quick for me out of the car and he made the dash and had the cache in hand even before I got there.

Gradually heading westward towards the Anzac Event brought me to Forest Redgum Reserve. As I parked the geomobile another vehicle pulled up and someone got out and immediately began checking their phone then headed off in the direction I assumed I was going. Another geocacher?
No I soon walked a different route.
I like the sealed pathways in this reserve. You can walk your geodog in the bush without actually walking in the bush!
Not that geodog is here today but there seems to be plenty of dog walking muggles in this suburb.
The co-ordinates were really good and after standing and thinking for a moment and I found the cache pretty quickly. The inside of the container is a bit damp which doesn't surprise me after all the rain we've had, but the log is dry and easy to sign.

Didn't need the tweezers for extracting but glad to retrieve an unique container, thanks Bushfire
A early rise and drive to get to the Penrith lakes parkrun, then some nice caching on the other side of the Nepean River.

Lovely afternoon stroll with the geo-toddler. Quick find in a likely spot, only a nearby natural tool required.
Thanks Bushfire for the cache!

Called by today and on checking the cache it required some TLC so a new log in a new plastic bag has been placed after the container was dried out so will be good for the next finders.
Had a few hours to spare today while we were in Penrith, so I headed to Glenmore Park to grab the replacement caches in the GPP series ... and figured it was timely to have a look at the hides in this series as well.
Wandered up the hill to this one from #6 and had no problems making the find, right where my phone's GPS told me to go ... and no pliers were required. Thanks for the hide Bushfire.

Took me a long while to spot as GZ had me on the pathway and forgot to look at all of the obvious features, not just part of them as I had already done. TFTC
OCW Oldmorty in Glenmore Park on a warm spring day. Luckily there was a TOTT attached so no need to bring your own. TFTC!
OCW young morty8888. After a letterbox cache by the this cache owner we headed off to the blue gum forest to grab a couple more of his caches. Both caches were quickly found. TFTC Bushfire.
In the area today so had a little time to collect a few caches. After a nearby one in the same park we headed to this one. We completed the signing duties and re hid TFTC

Our gang of 4 headed west to grab some caches. Took some time as we kept checking the wrong side of the path. Finally, after some circumnavigation I spied the hide. Eventually retrieved with the hands of TB. Sneaky one! Cache retreived and replaced quickly. Found with The Bebes, EverestHigh and MaxAdventurer.
This was our last one for the day. After over 40 finds today, it was time to head home. Thanks to all the cachers who placed the hides. TFTC

Found it, a bit wet so could not sign. Hopefully we have left it in a way that it can somewhat dry out. TFTC
Nice stroll in and little sneaky hide. Found pretty TFTC. Log book pretty wet TFTC
Loved this Cache! Found it without too much trouble.... fortunately my hands are small and girly. I did read the hint, but thought I'd give it a shot without the appropriate tool. The log is soaked after the recent rain, so maintenance is needed. TFTC Bushfire
We stayed in Penrith overnight to target the Glenmore Loch series today. With sunny weather we made our way around the local parks finding the best parking positions to get as close as possible to each cache.
Back in the car, we drove around the corner and made a quick find here after a bit of a fish around.
Thanks Bushfire for the placement.

#2699 I have been to this park before and the find was very quick didn't need the hint so unsure how that was to be used
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache Bushfire. I think

After a DNF at Glenmore Loch #6 Prickles and a very unfortunate puncture in my tyre, I was so happy to get this cache so my day was not completely wasted. Cache retrieved easy enough and log laid out in the sun for 15 minutes to dry out before signing. All good. TFTC Bushfire
Had to wait for muggles walking their dog to pass before pulling out the cache. Did the legals and replaced as found. TFTCM

Tftc. Took longer to get the cache out of its hide than it did to find it, as it was in at an awkward angle.

Spent a few mins on the wrong side of the track but a little investigation of an obvious site and a little fishing revealed all.
We have travelled from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Penrith for a short three day caching holiday, staying in a park cabin at the Gateway Lifestyle Nepean Shores Holiday Park, and planning on exploring the areas around Penrith, Regentville, Jamisontown, Emu Plains, Lapstone, and Glenbrook. Will also be keeping an eye out for our final Hidden Creature, the World Turtle, whilst out on the caching trail. This was our 4th find of the day, and 4th find of the holiday.
Parked the geomobile in Sir John Jamison Circuit, then headed off into Forest Redgum Reserve and around to GZ. Quickly found the cache, signed the log, and replaced as found. TFTC Bushfire.

My second find for the morning as I take a walk around the nearby area for a previous dnf and the placement of some new caches to the area.
I need to find a TOTT to assist in the retrieval, replacing as found once the log was signed. tftc

Went west before tonight's Big Bash game at the SCG.
Decided to target three newer caches around Glenmoore Park. And maybe a previous DNF near the river.
Got all three I went for but bailed on the previous DNF as it was raining slightly and previous experience suggested it would quickly go to mud.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Back to the main trail and away to this cache.
Nice quick find here in a logical spot. Just how I like 'em - well most of the time!
Completed signing duties and replaced.
Now off to a familiar area for my last find.

#4444- (That has a nice ring to it...) Out early for a few quick caches with thomo31 before it heats up.
Straight from "prickles", we headed back to the main path and down. Found the obvious spot, then realised how to get it. A nice quick, easy one and we were on our way for thomo31 to do another GCA trig nearby and breakky at McD. Thanks

Streak Day #1641 - Found in first place i looked...brought tools with us but we didnt need them. TFTC
We came here after finding PRICKLES and found the access much easier for this one. There was really only one feature at GZ co-ords that needed our attention. A quick search there and the tell tale cache indicator was quickly spotted and the cache was retrieved. We registered our name in the log and replaced all carefully when we had finished.
Thanks Bushfire for this well placed cache.

Not the diabolical cache I was expecting. I tried to fashion a "tool" from nearby sticks, but saw the attachment and had the container immediately. TFTC Bushfire.
Toriaz and I were on our way to Hoyts in Penrith to see Hugh Jackman's latest offering, but were a little early. We decided to detour to this cache to pass some time. We had to use our phones, since this was an unplanned caching stop and our GPS was at home. Yet we found the cache easily enough. The real problem was in extracting it from its hiding spot. That took a few minutes and a little patience. We both had a go at it, both on our own and together, but it was Toriaz's smaller fingers that finally wiggled it into the right position so that I could pull it out. Thanks

Bikerbuddy & I came down to Penrith to see The Greatest Showman. We left home a little early, so we made a detour into Glenmore Park to look for this cache.
The cache was an easy find close to the path, but extraction was not so easy. Really wished I had my little Monkey Girl with me, her small fingers would have been handy. We got there eventually.
Thanks
