Our first find!! A fun little cache we were all grinning ear to ear having found it! Signed the log and ran on to our next cache ->>
With dot558 the coolish wind was picking up the cache was difficult to retrieve but log signed in endI enjoyed the view and heard puffing Billy in distance I liked this one
absolutely stunning views, pure magic especially on a sunny day- word of advice, a spider has taken up residence on top of the cache so please be careful to not hurt yourself or it!!
Staying a few night at Kurth Kiln campground with my 2 daughters grabbed this cache as last time I was in Gembrook I DNF it now on my way to the some cool drinks for a good afternoon. Sl thanks for the cache.
Little fingers needed to get this one out and beware the ants. Pen ran out!! TFTC
After attending the nearby CITO and event, myself and AdamWickenton tackled the Gembrook Cockatoo Trail series on a lovely Saturday afternoon. This one was a nice quick find of a container we hadn't seen before, but one we were made very familiar with throughout the day. Tftc 999Hunter
I had started my day in Berwick to complete the **Trusty Trees** Wherigo... and in so doing, found myself a lot closer to Gembrook than I had expected. Looking for some late lunch, I thought I would continue on to Gembrook and go to the bakery there...
After lunch, it was time to continue caching... the original plan for the day was to take a power trail beside the Monash Freeway but as that was now so far away, I decided that the **Gembrook Cockatoo Trail** would be a far better... and much more pleasant... choice.
From years of being a Guard on Puffing Billy, I had a good idea of what the terrain would be like... so I parked my car at Orchard Road and set off for pleasant stroll towards Gembrook... stopping for each cache as I came to it.
Thanks **999Hunter** for the cache... and the series.

Went out for a walk on the miserable weather day with the wife for her birthday. So thought we would walk from gembrook to cockatoo and grab all the caches along the way. Lucky for the raincoat.
Managed to get them all but 1 which was clearly missing.
Quite a few had wet log books which made stamping them a bit hard.
Some nice hidden ones and some great ideas. Well done.

Out and about today in lovely Gembrook with my muggle partner, this was the 3rd one of the day. Found safe and sound. TFTC

My son found this cache. Lovely spot beautiful view freshly plowed field's and beautiful green scenery . Thank you for the cache xx
Their was definitely a theme with today's caches but most impressively I loved the respect shown to the environment which made for a fun walk and a fun day of caching.
Papi4506, OzHockeyChick and I gathered with our scooters for the day at Gembrook Cockatoo Trail. The weather is just perfect for our ride. We enjoyed watching and waving as the Puffing Billy runs past us. A quick find here.
999Hunter, thanks for placing the cache here

Now that Geoturtle37 has acquired her new scooter, it was finally time to head out for a spin. We were joined by pwala, and we chose this trail as the first outing as it’s relatively wide and flat.
The first for the day after detouring around the roadworks.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, 999Hunter

OHC, Pwala and Mrs Papi headed off on their scooters for a day in the sun. They returned with big smiles and no blood although Mrs Papi decided to sit in the mud but did so whilst she was on foot. Thanks for the cache.
In the area picking up an Adventure lab so pleased to also grab a trad. Sooo many here will have to come back another day to complete the series.
Thanks 999Hunter. A fantastic view!

*Gembrook Scout Awards Ceremony Adventure #5*
I had an awards ceremony for Scouts Victoria in Gembrook. I don't get to this side of town very often, so *of course* I'm going to pick up a few caches.
Aha! Anzac Street! A perfect cache for me to grab - I used to live in Anzac Avenue.
Thanks heaps, 999Hunter!

Deciding mid-morning today to do a cache run after visiting my old man, I thought to myself that spending the afternoon around emerald doing caching would be a great time. With the weather holding off and many of caches found over all it was a great day out.
Thanks for the caches and the lovely day out.

Thanks for the caches and the lovely day out.
I had to pick up my son from Gilwell Park (scouts camp) so I left home early knowing that I had more of this series to find. It was a great morning to be out, and had a great time finding some caches! Nice hiding spot here, TFTC!
A quick find here, cache in good condition. Had to wait for a group of muggles to pass, but thankfully there weren't too many around.
Thanks

I had two options for today - go to Warragul for an Adventure lab or come up to Gembrook with the bike and knock this trail off after seeing it on the map every time I open it. I chose the latter. The shared path is in good condition and suitable for pretty much everyone, the caches were varied but mostly fairly easy to find which is welcome on a trail like this. Thanks 999Hunter.

Another Sunday out caching with Omegaman1971, I was getting a bit sick of urban caching so I twisted Darrens arm into doing the Where the series, not the best of days to walking in the heat, took us about three and a half hours to complete the loop by the time we got back to the car we were exhausted but still managed to do a few more caches that were close to being drive by. Its was a great place to walk around, it was great to be out in the bush.
This is one of the caches found today.
Thanks 999Hunter for the cache.

Out on my own today enjoyinga birthday treat ABB at Gembrook . Most of this series could be done by car but I decided to do it on foot. Love doing this series along the trail and taking in the views and nature. Nice easy find, just love these 3-D's. Cache in excellent condition' Thanks for the series 999Hunter
This was my first walk on this trail, which I thoroughly enjoyed. As I was pressed for time I only found a few of the caches here and knowingly walked straight past quite a few more. I guess I have no choice but to return!
A nice quick find was very welcome in all the circumstances. TFTC

Found it after a bit of a search. Missing not seeing the train today. But glad to find the cache.
Thanks 999Hunter.

We had two goes at this one, on the way there and on the way back. We knew what to expect because we’ve found most of the other ones in this series and knew we were in the right place because of all the jumping jacks, as mentioned by other cachers. Eventually we investigated recent pruning on the ground and found a broken-off bit of 3D printing and a cable tie… further investigation yielded the rest of the container. Container still intact so we’ve placed it back at GZ, consistent with the hint!
An early start for Spiffy- and I today. We had a couple of ideas and settled on the rail trail near Cockatoo plus a few random. My hands were cold to start with but soon warmed up.
Lots of jumping ants on guard at GZ.
Thanks to 999Hunter for the placement and fun.

Found at 8:42 am.
Fleabag- needed to head elsewhere this afternoon so we started off the day early on the bikes. It was a bit chilly but I had my keep your hands warm but still able to use the phone gloves on so that worked out well. We headed along the whole trail from Cockatoo to Gembrook and had no DNF's which was great. On the way back we headed to a few off trail ones we had not found yet to complete a lovely morning adventure.
No problems here as we continued our lovely ride. Liking these containers. Nearly got bitten by the jumping ants everywhere. Luckily they didn't effect the cache placement.
Thanks 999Hunter for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Beautiful view from this cache! Plenty of cows sneaking a look but no muggles in sight! Tftc
Found with katdogg. After scouring the trunk, we found this one after stepping back and having a look. Cheers

I was a bit worried on arrival to gz that I would need to be over six foot for the clue to be workable, but thankfully a little scout around proves it not to be the case. I can successfully sign the log at a height of 5’5. Great sunny day today. Thanks for the cache.
