This had us stuck for quite some time, and in the end we resorted to reading some logs to point us in the right direction. An innovative hide, so a favourite from us.We had no luck with the fishing this morning, no fish there or we'd have caught them! This afternoon we got back on the bikes and headed after to the southern head for some sightseeing and to see what caches we could find. There were some beautiful locations and a couple of good hides as well as a few hills to negotiate, but the paths were good and we had 100% finds even though some took some time.A great way to spend an afternoon on an overcast but warm day.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Youban.**SKI Pair****

Cache 10881 on 14 Jan 2024. Heading down the coast this weekend with TikvaNZ to attend two geocaching events, grab some other caches and generally catch up with other cachers! A great opportunity to get out of the bra and enjoy some new sights and vistas. My first time to the coast this summer! This cache: after a yummy BBQ breakfast, TikvaNZ and I decided to grab a few more caches before heading up the Clyde. A simple but clever hide! Thanks Youban for the cache and the fun!

Day 3. A last minute plan had been hatched to make my way to QOGM. Very little planning had been done but a very rough outline was in place and it was going to be a day by day trip.

After an evening in Eden, it was off north along the coast towards Batemans Bay.

Searching around after dark finishing off a couple of final caches. A quick find here at GZ.

Thanks Youban for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

This isn’t how we wanted to start our day! Especially as it’s the last one before we head back to Melbourne.
We’d tried to find this a few days ago but the warm weather and whales had brought out the muggles so we gave up, knowing we’d come back to try again. It’s much quieter this morning and not so sunny so we spent a good thirty minutes on the hunt. The trees did not help with locating ground zero and despite our best efforts, the cache was not to be found.
Oh well, onwards in the pursuit of number 300!

Spending a few days down the coast to use a Stay Voucher, also ticked off enough smileys to complete both Labyrinth Hedge souvenirs. Few muggles enjoying the lookout as I detoured from the nearby AL waypoint and ducked into the scrub away from view. Hide quickly found as container had fallen out of it’s camo. Signed and returned together as one.

With ACT residents no being able to travel to an area around the capital including the coast, it was time to plan a trip. There was a good sized group where we were going to base in Moruya for three days. I traveled with Sol de Lune and Smitten Granny. Others were Cosmonaut97, Kitty Katch, Joolay, Barb2e, fitzy_1965 & MinnieK. Most logs were signed Kapital Krunchers. We had a great weekend of lots of caching in fantastic weather. Day two was more caches around Moruya, we were joined by My Windy who was also holidaying on the coast. We started with south of the river with a walk and then down to the heads for the low tide caches. After lunch it was North of the heads and surprisingly there was enough time to finish the Bengello walk and the airport caches.

After finishing the low tide caches, we visited the remaining caches on the south side of the river before breaking for lunch back in Moruya. Another collection of fantastically camouflaged caches.

Thanks for the cache Youban

After a bit of fun at the Neck and the Mouth, the group continued on for a few more caches. All were found without issue and signed before a break for lunch.

Thanks for a few more Youban....
