Wasn't in the area we thought it would be. Found in second area we searched.Thank you The Belligerantz for placing this cache.Log signed as B&PFind number 5235
Found it! Was looking a little exposed, so we made sure to tuck it back behind some greenery. TFTC
#924 What's this? An emerald in Ruby Reserve? I'll bet the few who have DNF'ed this will be green with ivy.
Looked around and around thinking we were looking for a needle in a haystack until Kimbathelion said, got it. Yey. Tftc
Found it straight away as the bright ____ container is easy to spot. We put it back in the same spot but covered it a little bit. TFTC IMAGE REVEALS WHERE THE GEOCACHE IS HIDDEN! LOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK!!
Cache was exposed very easy to see the bright metallic colour so did my best to make it less visible from a distance TFTC
Cruising around Te Atatu picking up a few more finds before calling it a day.
There wasn't too much greenery here today so the cache was a quick find.

Did a complete 360 circuit of GZ before the nice visual clue highlighted the area for me.
Last one of the day I think, time to head home

Another day in Auckland with ABCDF4 and eyespyben. Had been to look for this one on a previous occasion with no luck. More eyes this time and it was soon heard from around the other side. "Found it". Relieved to get it this time. Thank you for the placement
I tagged along behind the company when they marched on ivy mountain, patiently watching the proceedings from over their shoulders.
A decoy kept us guessing nary a monent longer than necessary as nato member amandaro spied the ordnance and we all leaned in for a log scrawl.
Then armycrawled away back to the support vehicle for some sustenance and radio acknowledgement.
Thanks belligerantz/captain merlot for not leading us astray here for too long.

M24: came here some time ago to try and find this cache, when the nearby residents gave me a few eyes, so I decided not to go for it that day. Back again after the nearby CITO event, teaming with smallwombat and amandaro, and it is finally done. No need to come back here, whoo! Nice cache to find, log all good and signed here. TFTC.
Last cache before heading home, and what I learnt here was to read the entire hint otherwise you end up circling a mountain.
My gps wouldn't settle down, which didn't help either, but once it had and I'd read the hint again I looked up and spotted something. Then I spotted the cache. But, you know what else likes an Ivy Mountain? Spiders. And you know what happens when they crawl up my arm? Yep, the cache ended up in the leaf litter, nicely blending in, and probably sat with some more spiders.
I did manage to retrieve the cache, sign the log and put everything back where it should be.

My heart & brain sunk when i got to GZ. Such an eyewatering GZ & no real idea of where to start. I did start somewhere & thought nope, too hard. But another look somewhere else & by pure luck came up trumps. Phewee. TFTC
This seemed like it might be tricky when I got to the gz, so I had a quick look around. Initially I was a bit stumped but I looked closely and saw something that didn't look quite right. I investigated further and sure enough, the cache revealed itself. Very subtle. Thanks!

We were slightly concerned that the ivy may have overtaken the land so went in with the expectation of a hard find when in fact the opposite was true - cache quickly located and then we were on our way again. TFTC

I decided to come to Te Atatu again today, completely by my own choice... just kidding, it's another day of work, but with plenty of caches in the area still to find, it's not so bad. (And I should say, the job itself is great fun too!) It took a couple of circuits to find where this cache was hanging out but still a reasonably quick find, in absolutely pristine condition.
Thanks for the cache!!
Thanks for the cache!!
Moved the car near to here after success at Gatling Gun and headed to the dreaded (in the UK) ICT, even worse is a MTICT! Yuck. Luckily I had my best eyes in my head today and spotted the cache straight away and the signing formalities were completed toot sweet (I know that's not right). On to the next one, Limpet Mine. Thanks D.
Needed to step out of the virtual office today and head down for the collect part of a click and (be disappointed for ages as it doesn't turn up, and no comms about when it will) collect, the best bit. Luckily it's a whisper floor fan because wow it has suddenly cranked in temperature terms and 26 degrees in the car as I headed out. As I was headed I out I decided a lunch-time stroll would be all good and headed to the Te Atatu peninsula to pick off a few more caches, 4 this time. All were found and thanks to the 4 different COs.

#862 thanks CO for replacing the cache. Nice to have yet another local cache ticked off. TFTC
Found the hint item, but no cache attached to it. Possibly worth some maintenance?
Quick find when I stopped looking on the wrong side of the tree, love the clue and positioning!
Another good cache found today with woolwood9
We enjoyed walking / driving around the area
*Thanks for putting out this container for us to find!*

Rain pretty set in now, we were quite wet so took the rest of the day off, did some shopping and spent time at our hotel, hoping tomorrow was not wet.

Owing to a small minority not observing the lockdown for Covid-19, I am disabling my caches until we are through the other side
Morning, me and my sisters found it right now. It is hard but was a great challenge, giving us a heads up for what there is to come.
Thank you, Heavahn, Cynsere and Ripeka

Found it no too much searching, was maybe being watched in the house next door
Well we approached this ivy mountain with trepidation. The forces were divided in the hopes of a quicker conquest. The battle was very quickly won and the troops regrouped and set off towards their next target. TFTC
After a good start to the day with the event in Henderson, decided to head to Te Atatu get a few more smileys. Sometimes when you had a previous DNF you wonder what all the trouble was about when you find the jolly thing lol. SL. TFTC.
A nice quick find today, second place I looked. Luckily the ivy is not too thick. Last for the day. Cheers.
Up in Auckland visiting family and I have a few spare hours. The Te Atatu North (as it was once called) battlefield beckoned so I headed over to try and make peace, or at least get a few smileys!!
Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers
