No luck in finding this graveyard cache, but given that the last find was over a year ago, it likely needs to be checked in by the cache owner.

After dropping my son at work in Queanbeyan, I spent the rest of the day caching my way to tonight's events in Goulburn. This one took longer than it should have to locate. Lots of very long grass here. TFTC.

On a run with LuckyL10n and this was our next stop. Always interesting to stop and check out an old cemetery and this one was no different. Cache found without issue and we were on to the next one.

#16518 - 9:50:00 AM; Sol de lune was headed to Goulburn on a mission today and with not a lot else on, I was able to join him to collect some caches in and to the west of the city to help us along the way with some personal challenges we are working on. All up 15 finds and 2 DNFs for me with Sdl getting a couple more, which I had logged on earlier visits. Given the recent heavy rains, all the caches were in pretty good condition and we had no problems adding our names to the logs. TFTC GLISS!
A lovely lost little cemetery, it is a shame that is not being upset. TFTC
Very sad to see the cemetry so overgrown. Thanks for taking us here. TFTC
First of four days of caching around Goulburn, Yass valley and ACT. Weather still good, but a terrible forecast. Making good progress around Goulburn/Crookwell today.

Celebrating our first weekend of freedom after Sydney hit the 70% COVID vaccination level. I needed cache finds for the last mountain challenge, needed to drop off a few TBs I've been holding on to for too long during COVID shutdown, and felt it would be good to get out into the country and spend some money to help the local economies get back up to speed. So, a mission to Goulburn was the perfect solution. We achieved all our goals and had a great day out. It almost felt like life was getting back to normal.
This one was tricky, and I wasn't too keen on poking around what seemed to be the intended location. Fortunately Charlicorn found it slightly further afield. More than 6 months unfound time was a nice bonus as well. TFTC!

I spent Saturday and Sunday driving between Yass, Crookwell, Taralga and Peelwood to visit is many of the caches in this region as I could. The new caches near Yass were all very clever hides that provide a great challenge. I fit in the new Adventure Labs in Crookwell in the afternoon before a chilly night at Bummeroo Ford. Sunday started foggy and stayed that way till after 10. I made it to Peelwood for a cache that I was blocked from on my last visit and finished the day with caches near Goulburn before heading home.
Thanks for the cache GLISS!

OCW Stumble's Mate today to, coincidentally, avoid the Bowral Cycle Classic being held today in Highlands. TFTC!
OCW StumbleTrip today to clean up some more caches in the Goulburn area.
After cleaning up the Mt Grey series and stopping for a bite to eat, we decided to head out to Crookwell and home via Wombeyan Caves. Some of the views we had along the way were magnificent, so if you are thinking of heading out this way......do it!
Epic day out and all caches found were in good condition.
Thanks to CO's for their hides!

Another piece of history this cemetery different from previous, thanks to the hint had us reading the headstones & trying to imagine life in the late 1800’s, tftc
The rain had cleared and the sun was shining, so it made for a lovely day for a drive in the country. After the Crookwell country town event and collecting the caches around the town, we started out journey home collecting along the way.

With us lazying around the house for school holidays, Dad dragged us along for a 2-day caching trip through the rural area of Goulburn and Gunning.
We had lots of fun exploring the area, seeing heaps of wildlife and farm animals and finding some caches.

As the kids (mini rats) were on school holidays I decide to take them for a country drive which involved some caching and an overnight bush camp out. We found plenty rural caches, seen heaps of cattle and sheep, the ocassional roadkill and some amazing countryside, oh and heaps of wind-turbines.
Good to see Mary looking after this one
Thanks to all the CO's for contributing to the fun we had.

Out for a Sunday drive travelling along this beautiful country road. A bit of a tricky driveway, but with caution all is well
Thanks GLISS for the hide.
Thanks GLISS for the hide.
I overshot the cemetery, but made use of a suitable parking spot a little farther along the road. The short walk to and from the cemetery gave me the opportunity to view the old church on the opposite side of the road, and the somewhat unsympathetic additions that have been made...

A cemetery with a sign is rare. Parked in the cemetery & took several photos including one of the church which is when I heard the owners calling out to the dog. Enclosed. You're right about the traffic - whoosh so stopped, listened & took off, in my Rodeo. Thanks.
We thought the cemetery gate was pretty cool here! Looks like a couple of people have already uploaded a photo of it to the gallery! Interesting to hear that there are some more recent graves here, and it is not completely forgotten about unlike some cemetery's I have come across lately.
Great location for a cache and a really nice place to explore, thanks!

This Cache was not one of my FTFs today
I headed out from Canberra today with Loci612. On seeing that there was a ftf that had been unclaimed for three days I kicked it into overdrive and reached speeds of upto 150kmph. Shaving almost 20 min off the trip. We got to GZ, located the cache and signed the logbook. We later found out that the 2TF missed out on the ftf by 15 min. Looks like my crazy speeding paid off. Thank you GLISS! for placing this cache, It was found in great condition without any drama. Now onto more caches.
After the two FTFs we collected a few more caches on the way to the Event in Goulburn. THis was one of the caches that we found. I have signed the logbook DSD or Darkside or Darksidedan
I have included a poem that I have written about geocaching with my log. I hope that you and future loggers like it.
Geocache Poem
By DARKSIDEDAN
My endless search goes on and on
Looking for treasures of every kind
Always chasing just one more find
Putting past DNF’s out of my mind
I step out into the world outside,
Seeking what is hidden from me
What size, shape or form will it be?
Only time will tell, I can’t wait to see
Will I find my prize at the end?
I will search in the failing light and cold
Filling with despair having looked everywhere
Where is this thing that gives my life pleasure?
Looking all around from every angle
I read the logs and check the hint
I curse out loud as I walk in circles
Screaming the bloody thing it not there
As time flies by and I fail to see,
Never once stopping to realize
It always been there before my eyes
No need for sorrow, there’s the Geocache.

Was out for a country drive, so stopped in to the cemetery (1732 range road) and found this one! TFTC!
Not an easy place to get to from Breadalbane! This one has stood out as one of my few remaining in the area, so today I headed out to grab it. Parked in front of the gate (about the only spot) and made a quick find inside.
Thanks,
Thanks,
Out and about with Happy Uke again today to get some caches. We had Mizmaz along to help out along the way.
Thanks for this one.
Thanks for this one.
As I was driving home late last night from a very long and tiring day caching around Batemans Bay ticking off my 5000th milestone, got a text from HappyUke with an invite to join her and Finalf29 for a spontaneous cache run today. Possibly too tired to think sensibly but knowing they would do all the planning, driving and navigating, I readily agreed as the proposed PT numbers (plus a few others) would help with the mythical creatures challenge. Started the day up to Gryphon status and 40 smileys later I had the Dragon (with ten towards the last souvenir).
A big day out with Mizmaz and Finalf29 was organised (last night) to knock off a few caches in the "Hidden Creatures" challenge. We had a fantastic day with lovely weather, great caches and wonderful company... I think we are all talked out now! Thanks to all the CO's. We got forty for the day.
Missed driveway in the gloom. This ended up being our last one due to a near miss with a Kangaroo

Interesting cemetery, easy find, old church across the road has been converted to a home we noticed.
*FTF* at 12.30pm. After coming off night shifts and a well earnt sleep i seen this new cache pop up. Noticing it had still not been found several hours later i decided to take a chance and head out. Only 17kms from my house. Beauty! I drove out hoping the rain would hold off which it did for a quick find at gz. Driven past here a few times before but at the speed limit here of 100 kms/hr i never noticed it before. Thanks GLISS! for another cache in the area. Keep them coming!
