TFTC. We are camped at Kyogle Showgrounds with our motorhome group for a birthday get together. We spotted this series along Collins Creek Road. With a couple of hours to spare this morning we headed out to explore this area. My first job in Melbourne was on Collins Street and we know the CO as well so it seemed appropriate to do this small series. We did not have any issues finding the caches although a couple of logs had got a bit wet.

Heading out to Kyogle today, as we are travelling this way with the caravan, and luckilymwe did, as there was not always enough room to get off the road.

For the month prior to my visit to Australia, I spent some time trying to solve some mystery caches around the Brisbane area. At one point I had to contact RoddyC for a question one one of his caches. We got chatting and he kindly invited me to join him on a maintenance run which we did today. This led to my most productive day caching so far.
We did so many today, I had no data, and I didn't think to make notes until later so it isn't easy to remember them all from home afterwards. All I know is that we found this one. Tftc and UTV

Out today, trying to obtain all these clues for the ‘summer’ promo....
I’m now trying to gain all the last 35 caches, which is harder due to the distance I have cleared.

Quick find at GZ, good height for me.
Cheers

Found this one pretty easily on my way out to pick up this series of caches at Collins Creek. I hadn't been much further out this road than this point until today, so I was heading into new territory. It was a great day for caching. A slight amount of drizzle, fog over the hills and the place looked as green as it's ever looked in the last year. What a great day and great cache! Thanks RoddyC!

25-Jul-18
Out and about collecting some caches to complete the Hidden Creatures Souvenirs.
These were close enough to walk (if you call a 21km round trip close) to from where we were staying. A different experience to driving the roads.

A few days around Kyogle district looking for caches. Always enjoy doing caches in the countryside compared to suburbia. Doing the caches along Collins Roads and nearby was most enjoyable bring us (that being cachers) to roads we would probably not decide to travel along. Thank you for placing these caches. A quick find here. TFTC Mr and Mrs RoddyC

Having a caching day along the roads just north of Kyogle - the cache placements certainly took us along roads less travelled and some amazing views were discovered.
Nice quick find - thanks.

I am still on my way home from the OZ Geomuster Mega event held at Morisset over the Easter week-end. Cool
I arrived in Kyogle mid morning after staying the night about 30km and started finding all of these new caches up in the hills. Big Grin I ended up finding them all, which makes for a good day. [^] The Lancer did good. Razz
A short search before I found this one nicely tucked away. [^]
Thanks for the cache.

Managed to drive within a metre or so of this one but had a devil of a time extracting the container from its hiding spot.
Managed to extract with the help of a pair of pliers.

With the rising temperature we decided to base ourselves at the Casino RV Base (which is quite similar to where to live). This is a great base and we headed to town and out Kyogle way today. Lovely scenery and we do like the roads less travelled. This was one of the caches we targeted and found. Nicely done. Thankyou RoddyC for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area Big GrinBig Grin

Usually it is Swellerfungus moaning that I have parked the car too far away from a cache, but with him legged up at home after a knee operation the day before, Crookedpete and Dez took up the task and had great delight in criticising and shortfall in appropriating a suitable parking spot. Sad to say they had to walk a whole 5m or so to get to this. I promise I will lift my game. TFTC

After attending the nearby Australia Day event, seffnjarah, CrookedPete and I took a drive to grab the Collin's Creek Road caches, as well as the FTFs we'd drawn at the event. TFTC.

After an Australia Day event at Sheepstation Creek this morning with JeznDez and SeffnJarah, we completed a loop collecting these new caches.

Many thanks RoddyC

**FTF** at 8.10am This series of caches was published while I was on my way to the Border Ranges. I still needed to set up camp, so did not even consider going for FTF. The next morning, after breakfast, I had a tiny bit of internet coverage, so decided to check on these caches. It seemed that the locals were sleeping in, so I decided to make my way to the closest ones.
This was the first cache of the morning. It was quickly found and I was pleasantly surprised to find no other names in the log. Woohoo! FTF. I wonder how many i can grab? Smile TFTC
