(13 of 15 today)Decided it was time to head up to Kurri Kurri for a cache binge. While there was a bit of rain on the way up, it basically stayed dry once I got there.Filled in a few gaps from previous visits, expunged a few DNFs and then noticed a new caching trail in the bush - very Halloween themed. I'll try that!By the time I headed home I had 15 finds - and that nice bushwalk as part of it. If only I'd brought my collapsible pole I could have snaffled another nearby.###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###Again thought the best idea was to park around the corner as the traffic here was just never ending.Exactly where I thought it was for a quick completion of the legals, replace and off to a more interesting looking one.SLTNLNTFTC
The weather this morning was not looking great, cloudy and overcast after some rain overnight but we decided to head out anyway down to Kurri Kurri to check out the murals. We took the loop route caching as we went before spending time in Kurri to look around, complete a Lab and have some great local fish and chips before heading back the more direct but busier way.We came across some great 3D printed cache containers and a couple of innovative ones as well, also completing a multi. We managed to dodge the rain and had a good day out.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache kingfisher_au.**SKI Pair****
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Today we moved from Morisset to Maitland. Once we dropped off the van and had some lunch it was off to try and complete the Map of Tasmania. Boy was it hard work with multiple DNF's at the start, we were even doubting our caching mojo after a while. Mr F wasn't a happy driver as the roads were very busy, glad it was the weekend, assuming it's busier on weekdays[?]Got home at sunset with only 1 left to tackle tomorrow. It's a shame cachers seem hesitant to log needs maintenance and DNF's both of which help Cache owner keep on top of pending maitenance.TFTC kingfisher_au
Easy find, but still no idea what the title has to do with it? There is no church around...Nice little park and grab. Coords accurate. Tftc.
I wish I had a rubber stamp to use on these occasions. so many find in one day. 500m at a time.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
On my way home and it was still a 12 hour straight drive, but there are caches on my list I need to grab first. A drive to Hornsby, Maitland, Kurri Kurri and a few others before I am finished. There is a couple of virtuals and lab caches of particular interest. So much to do and so little time.
I stopped at this one just because of a certain attribute I was looking for. This one was an easy find today. Thanks for placing it here and with the log signed and cache replaced as found I was onto the next one.

Road to Maitland by Kingfisher_au
On holidays in Nelson Bay we (me and my junior cacher, Andy) decided to take a day trip to Maitland to chase some caches. Target one was the Road to Maitland where we sought out the 19 caches on the map (what happened to #4?). With 17 of the 19 caches we looked for found it was a successful hit out. Thanks to Kingfisher for this trail from there we headed into Maitland Park to chase the four caches there...
#1, #2 - Found
#3 - DNF, is it still there?
#5 - Found
#6 - DNF, is it still there?
#7, #8 - Found
#9 - Found, but watch the spiders!
#10 - Found, niche cache but log not in shape to extract and sign.
#11 - Found two cache containers at this GZ! Signed both logs.
#12 to #20 - Found

Find # 6308
Nice quick find.
We are loving our journey around the Hunter Valley. Weather-wise, today is a repeat of yesterday with a stiff cold wind.

I joined a trip to Maitland with Aquilus1, dty73, Tankengine, Barb2e, Kitty Katch & Joolay. The weekends main game was to do the dogs head series, but along the way we did some old caches around Sydney and did as many Maitland caches as time allowed. The return journey was via some old caches and some challenges that may or may not be met one day.
Day 2 was the dogs head series and three other series around Kurri Kurri. The R&D caches and many other Maitland caches are absolutely fantastic containers showing great creativity with new tools.

Found with and signed the Capital Crunchers who are: dty73, Tankengine, Joolay, kittycatch, Albida33, Barb2e.
A four day caching trip up around Maitland collecting a number of caches of interest to suit everyone along for the fun. A lovely area, very scenic, green and lots of historic locations. Also some great caching to be done while in the area as well as on our way there and home.
The 'Dogs head' was a main focus of the trip, and took us the the best part of the day along with a few smaller trails and a few as we passed but a lovely scenic area to spend the day in. Most caches were straight forward finds, a few took a little search and others are great 3D printed designs or LARGE! Great trail through a great area, thanks for the cache kingfisher_au.

Big day of caching on the second of a 4 day trip out of Canberra. All logs signed as Capital Crunchers. This day included the Dogs Head, a great trail of the R&D caches and now heading back to Maitland towards the end of the day. Some great country driving and some interesting caches. Tftc

TFTC kingfisher, nicer view from up here. Don't know what the food tray for $5 at the church would be like.

In Kurri for a weekend of Geocaching with Wazza9, quick find, stamped the log and replaced. Thanks to kingfisher_au for the great series.
TFTC,
Had to look around for the Church.
Came up here today with the idea of achieving more than we did. After a while, the numbers didn't matter and rain stopped us from doing some walking caches at a critcal time.
Great to have a chance to do a variety of caches placed by different cachers, thanks for providing and continuing to maintain your caches.

I did this one, as I told Madrabbitoh to stay where she was.... Nice view I spose. Cars. cars and more cars. TFTC.
A trail of dad jokes, guard rails and bus stops made my phone overheat and me hot under the collar as the last bits of ink drained from my stamp.
