Blends in well. No church here.

Words are failing me to adequately convey the connection I felt as soon as I stepped toward the gate of this place, like I had been here before or had some connection here that I don't understand. A full scene played out in my mind of a wartime wedding tinged with sadness. Spooky... WallabyTim found the cache while I explored the grounds in quiet contemplation. A favourite point given. Thank you so much for the cache to bring us here <3 (Log was mush, replaced with paper we had on hand)

Went for a drive around the Pittsworth area finding geocaches on the way. This was an easy find on a country road. As [revious reorted the log is to damp to sign. I try to put new logs in but there isn't any room for a second log. TFTC.

On my way home from the QOGM and continuing my outback adventures. Today it was leaving Goondiwindi heading up the Gore Highway to Toowoomba and then a slight detour to Highfields before a straight drive home to Brisbane. I had a list of caches to collect and places to see, some oldies and some for a grid position.

Next on the list was this interesting cache, interesting because of the history and the little cemetery nearby. I had a bearing on the cache and a little cache blindness had me for a moment but I found it tucked away. The log was very wet but I was able to use the stamper and get my mark on it unfortunately for triple turmoil her pen would just tear it up.
With it all back together and cache left better than found it was onto the next one on the list. Thank you for the placement here.

Beautiful old church. Thank you for giving us a reason to stop. Log is wet and signing world have ripped the page. Here with Chamad (whose new stamp worked well on the wet log)

Returning from the other cache down the road, paused to find this one. Tricky one took a while to come to hand. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks soldier boys for placing and Mr Esky for maintaining.

Grey Nomads, now totally sick of the covid hold up time, and then more time in Brisbane for knee surgery. So now with the blessing of surgeons and physios, we hit the road again, and can get back to placing yellow smilie faces around Australia (Queensland for now)

Doing a few Kays around SEQ before we have to go see the doctor again, so filling in a few gaps on our map.

Camped at the weir, and out for what looks like might be a very interesting circuitous caching route. I was not proven wrong..... Interesting hides with interesting stories.....

It is cold and windy, but this was an easy find. (Love the clue) Interesting church and graveyard. Thanks for the hide, the church and the gravestones. Great way to fill in a cold spring day.

Time this cache had a visitor.
Great coords but it still took a couple of minutes to find the little tethered cache
This old church has a ‘For Sale’ sign on the fence.
All good and dry here.
Thanks heaps for the cache.

Found by Mary and David at 1220. Mary had already given you a FP before we got out of the GeoPrado. She loves cemeteries for the symbolism of the headstone designs, and the social history in the epitaphs. Not terribly old, but those early pioneers are back near the soil they farmed. Hope there are still, Wright and Reichle descendants in the area. Took us too long to find - we missed it on a couple of passes. Our thanks to soldier boys.

Out with Eskies5 picking up a cache to fill the calendar. All this way for just one smiley! Think we are going a little crazy. We watch as the temperatures dropped on our way to this one. A chilly 2 degrees when we got out the car to find the hide. Luckily the search was short and we had the log to sign. What a tiny little church this one is. TFTC and bring us to the area soldier boys

Challenge Caches!!! I love them but at the moment it's a little bit of a love/hate relationship (so many things that need filling I don't know where to start!). With great satisfaction Kestal and I completed our calendar back in March...but the publication of a challenge GeoArt in Brisbane almost had me rocking in the corner!!! To fill my calendar with nothing but traditionals, I now need just shy of 60 days more to complete it...now specific caches need to be targeted on specific days. So we find ourselves at a teeny, tiny, little church in the middle of nowhere, an hour from home, at the crack of dawn, on a chilly autumn morning just to get a traditional cache. Bonus is that the Eskies recently adopted the nearby cache ‘Assassination of Mr Owen of Yandilla’ (our first FTF) and what better chance to check up on it while in the neighbourhood. Thanks for bringing us here soldier boys.

(FTF)
Today was the day I decided to journey to Toowoomba and then down past Leyburn then to complete the Farm Run new hides. Left home, Nanango, at 0515. After finding the Highfields Waterfalls circuit lot and the one outstanding one in Toowoomba time do some real country driving. Find number 8 for the morning. Another longish distance drive from the last GZ to here. A very quick find. Very good co ordinates. Not where you think it might be. No need to go inside the fence at all. Very good additional hint. Signed log YOF as that is what I use on small and micro logs to save space on the paper. I will use youngoldfella where there is room. All good here.
TFTC soldier boys.
