Out in the area grabbing a few caches on a drizzly morning. Looked all over the structure trying to spot this one. Ended up finding it in the first spot I originally inspected, obviously I just didn't look hard enough.
TwoEms groaned as we approached ground zero, and then half-heartedly started to look for the dreaded nano. We had come from the cold streets of Narnia and wanted to go back inside our wardrobe instead of looking around for utter misery. As the sun beat on our backs, our hearts sunk into hopelessness, each step weighing us down further into doom and gloom. After about five-long-whole minutes of this self-inflicted torture, one of us cried, found it! and all was well again. Thank you for the cache.
Should have read the description as after I found it I realised there was a hint in there. Thanks for the fun VK3TV
I found this cache today on my Mega Geocaching Walk #13 - a 30,000 step walk from Epping Station, winding my way up to Wollert and back down the other way to Epping Station once again. I have you nano, though I first checked under the bridge and found no spots to attach one. Thanks from D B-A
Parked nearby and started my loop walk, collecting caches along the way. Great placement for this cache, with a helpful hint.
Found this little sneaky hide after a bit of searching around. Great hide and so small but a wonderful addition. TFTC
Well wasn’t this a sneaky bugger! I wandered down to GZ from where I parked and began looking in all the obvious spots. Running my hands along everything the cache was no where to be seen. That was until I finally was at the right angle and spotted something. Oh wow I hadn’t noticed that.
Sneaky, very sneaky!
Thanks VK3TV for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

*Cache find # 13974.*
I was needing a few more finds in the Whittlesea LGA to try and qualify For one of the Mega challenges so I decided to head back over this way and go for a ride along some of the trails.
I stopped by this one on my travels and was able to find it, the log was signed and I was on my way to the next one.

A nice sunny Winter afternoon so we decided to head out for a walk and look for a few caches along the way. Thanks for the cache VK3TV.

A great day out with Omegaman1971, Our trip last weekend got canceled due to the five day lock down so we were glad we could get out again this weekend, we had a great day out exploring new areas.
This is one of the caches we found on our travels.
Thanks VK3TV for the cache.

Very sneaky. It look a little while to sniff this devil out. Great spot for a cache.
Out with the geodaughter collecting a few caches. This one was the first of the day. We poked around but came up empty handed. We decided to come back later and have another go on the way home. We found it fairly quickly upon our second approach. TFTC VK3TV.
Found at 2:06 pm.
Well I didn't go away anywhere for the long weekend and neither did OzHockeyChick. So today we went on a bike ride along a couple of trails and this was one of them.
After completing the aqueduct trail in Research/Eltham area we headed over here for another nice and not too hilly ride. It was a busy little trail along here today with the beautiful weather but it was handy having the bikes and a companion so we looked a lot less suspicious.
OzHockeyChicked parked her bike in the perfect spot and spotted this straight away.
Thanks VK3TV for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

With our respective caching buddies out of town or otherwise occupied this weekend, spiffy and I decided to team up, drag out the bikes and find a trail or two.
Popped my bike down just off the path and spotted this sneaky blighter straight away. Nice one!
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache, VK3TV

It took a bit of searching and some improvisation to secure the find...very sneaky VK3TV. TFTC...it earns a favourite in my books.
Out with xambo4u, we decided to walk along the Darebin Creek in Mill Park. We had a successful day with only one DNF.
We found this one fairly quickly, but spent quite a while trying to open it. Photo sent to CO.
Thanks VK3TV

Out and about with echidna44 for another fun day of caching. Enjoying our wal along the trail. Found the sneaky little blitter but struggled to open it. Permission granted to log the cache. Thanks for your series along here VK3TV
Couldn't find in the more obvious places but then thought about where I would hide a nano and then it occurred to me where to check
Wow! I’d been having a fruitless day caching today with only a meagre haul for hours spent. Thought this was gonna be another one to elude me, until a previous log encouraged me to search further. I hate nanos but this would be the best hide I’ve seen with one. Well done. Tftc
A pretty small cache but not so many places for a magnetic hide with all the concrete underneath.
Cheers

Got to GZ and couldn look immediately due to passing muggles. Once they had gone the cache was in the very first place that I checked!

On the way home gathering caches again, checking out the area, wandering around...
Last time I was here this was now where to be seen, this time it was an easy find, I hate it when this happens.

Thanks VK3TV. Tricky! Hoping to grab a few more before the storm hits. Found with Jimmytherat.
TFTC VK3TV. Nice little hide. Rain holding off and sun shining. Prickles from the prickly pear all gone. Jimmytherat with Noelle04.
These micros can be a bugger to find sometimes but not this time. It was good having 8 eyes as it took no time to find it, sign it and return. Cheers,
It was a long day of getting a number of caches in the area in out for a run attempting to get the 100 caches for the hidden creatures souvenir.

Its been a few weeks since TrailStevo and I have been able to escape out cache, but last night we managed to get out. Im trying to get at least 50 cache per month and here we are just over 1/2 way through June and im on zip! So we looked for a trail and/or area of congestion to rack up a few numbers but we wanted some exercise too. First up was the south side of the CSS series plus a few others along the way. I good variety of hides and some of our favorite (not) hanging in tree hides. After walking about 8km, and back to the car we headed across to nearer Mill Park/Epping for another brisk 7km collecting another handful of cache. I think we totaled around 20 cache, the dog had a ball! In fact the dog had a lie in today and only really seemed to wake up at around 3pm . TFTC VK3TV
After finding some of the CSS series. moved over to this area to pick up a few along Darebin creek. Gunks and myself did about 7kms of walking to boost our haul for June. TFTC

Sneaky little hide here, nearly had me crawling under the structure, but as I knelt down, my glasses slipped and there it was, Thanks VK3TV, really tested my patience
Found @7:45am. The two words I dread - magnetic & nano. I’m actually surprised how quickly I found this one. TFTC!
Suscoe decided to spend this mid Autumn rainy and windy day up in the north of Melbourne collecting caches that we have noticed located here for a while now.
It was a strange day with sunshine, wind, raised dust and rain of all sorts including a fairly heavy down pour at lunch time.
We found 26 caches in total which was a nice number seeing as though our caching outings have been few and far between over the recent months.
Thanks to VK3TV for another nice hide, sneaky and stuck for a while, gradually encouraged the cache to emerge,
All's well that end well!!
A favourite for the work put into the caches in this area, we have had a pleasant time wandering the streets and trails.

After performing my 'mum's taxi' duties this morning I had time to visit Epping again to find some more caches. I parked in Hawkes Drive, walked along the Hendersons Road Drain Trail and back along the Darebin Creek Trail. I was successful in finding five of the six caches that I searched for.
I have seen a few of these so I knew what I was looking for. It was a long search but the sun was shining and I was determined not to give up. Eventually I found it, signed my name and replaced it as found.
Thank you VK3TV for this cache.

Took far too long searching for this unsuccessfully and headed off for the next cache. As luck would have it I went the wrong way so came back to this bridge again and decided to have one last look....and bingo TFTC
The family wanted to stay in the cool of the house so I decided to take the bike out to the Epping area as I don't really get North too often.
The heat was not really a problem but there was a wicked Northerly that made some legs of the ride a bit more challenging than should be.
At the GZ I had a sneaky suspicion that this would be a sneaky hide and I was correct. TFTC.

Well, that was fun... rather than the boring ride straight along Childs Rd, I opted for the scenic route through the streets and parks, into the TAFE, sorry, Melbourne Polytechnic (lost count of the different names the institution has had in its existence... it was NMIT when I did my diploma here last decade), then down the very nice quick access to the creek.
That's what I call a cheeky little hide, VK3TV. And I now understand why the newbie cacher in the area struggled: until you've seen a few of these, you've no idea what you're even looking for.

Ah yes a very tiny one indeed, the last one for today and a great hide in a great area. Thanks VK3TV.
Found with help from the CO. Unfortunately the log required a tool to retrieve it which i didn't have to hand. Also thought that it may be too hard to replace it as it was very packed in. TFTC for my smallest cache.
A drive by run after work tonight , this was the first, tricky hide that only had one place thanks
After fighting off all of the lovely traffic in Cooper St I finally made it to a parking spot near GZ
Walked down to GZ and thought it could only be hiding in a of spots.
Spotted it in the first place I looked.
I must say this is still my least favourite cache container out there as I often have trouble spotting them.
It looks like the are spending a bit of time, money and effort to make this area alot more friendly.
Thanks VK3TV TFTC

Got to GZ, within seconds of putting my GPS down Cachmstr (my 8 y.o. son) calls out "Found it!". TFTC.
Introduced a new adopted grankid to geocaching but couldn't find it. Will try another day
2TF. I needed to get out of the house after being inside for 2 days with a cold so decided a Caching fix is in order. I knew this had the potential to cause frustration due to its size but once I arrived at GZ it was in one of the first places I looked. Took me about 10 seconds!! A great hide. But the log was stuck in there pretty tightly. Took some getting out. But it's signed and back in. TFTC.
I looked here today but after looking around the triangular intersection of the paths, near and under the bridge no joy. If people that find it can post pics and more clues i would greatly appreciate it.
