A cool and grey, wet day, the best days for hunting around parks for hidden cache without attracting suspicion. Arrived here by car and realised I had been here before without any luck. Poked around again for a while, spied a place I thought would be a great hide with no luck. Then, I noticed the cache in the leaf litter below. Signed and replaced. TFTC
I began looking in the wrong place for a bit and then went back to basics and located the cache hidden nicely in a great spot. Easy to get really. Good cami in the end too. Log signed TFTC
I found this cache today on my Mega Geocaching Walk #13 - a 30,000 step walk from Epping Station, winding my way up to Wollert and back down the other way to Epping Station once again. If I had first looked for a different type of hide, I would have been here forever, but I was lucky to take the correct guess at this one fairly early in the search. Thanks from D B-A
Wandered around a bit and then finallly caught sight of it, extraction tool ready to go, had it in hand quickly. Closing in on a 365 day streak. Tftc
#37 17/12/2023 @5:26pmMade a nice little 8 legged friend while searching for this one!
It was another fun afternoon with Harper and after dinner and then bed time it was time for me to make my way home via this cache.
A nice sneaky hide.
Thanks VK3TV for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

Walked around GZ and spotted the cache from the right angle. Made the extraction and continued my loop walk.
*Found on the 10 Jan 2023 @ 12:47 pm.*
*Cache find # 13978.*
I didn’t see this one at first from one side but after approaching from the other side, I spotted it straight away.
I was needing a few more finds in the Whittlesea LGA to try and qualify For one of the Mega challenges so I decided to head back over this way and go for a ride along some of the trails.
I stopped by this one on my travels and was able to find it, the log was signed and I was on my way to the next one.
**Thanks to VK3TV for placing this cache.**

Out caching on a cold and wet morning with my lovely significant other. This one took a few minutes, but we found it. A nice clever hide!
This was was tricky, took some time as to avoid mugglers. I eventually saw it and almost even dismissed it. Very clever. Using my tools to grab this out and a spider jumped out instead! Never the less got to it. Log book is full and couldn't sign.
Catching up on some late logging. Went to the wrong one but that was soon rectified. Thanks for this one VK3TV

This is a very clever spot. I knew where it was likely to be but had to work hard to get it.
Out with the geoteen picking up a few quick caches before we needed to be elsewhere. A sneaky hide put a smile on our dials when we found it. TFTC VK3TV.
Second go a this one but found this time - I am sure I checked the same hiding place last time
Tricky little cache but I was able to wrinkle the little fella out of his hidy hole. TFTC
Searched for about 15 minutes but nothing. We did get to enjoy the black cockies that were sitting in the tree watching us though.
Out with xambo4u, we decided to walk along the Darebin Creek in Mill Park. We had a successful day with only one DNF.
This cache needed careful searching to produce results. Very clever hide. Thanks VK3TV

Found @13:45 and I can finally cross this one off the map. TFTC! A very sneaky hide!
This was one of several quite unusual and tricky hides for a bison that I found among the 22 hides that now have my name in them.
Good coords and nice hide indeed.

An interesting spot with a car parked down in the drain under the bridge. This one was a bit of a worry given some of the logs. We were lucky and one of the first checks uncovered the cache. Thanks.
It was a long day of getting a number of caches in the area in out for a run attempting to get the 100 caches for the hidden creatures souvenir.

All good to go.

Suscoe decided to spend this mid Autumn rainy and windy day up in the north of Melbourne collecting caches that we have noticed located here for a while now.
It was a strange day with sunshine, wind, raised dust and rain of all sorts including a fairly heavy down pour at lunch time.
We found 26 caches in total which was a nice number seeing as though our caching outings have been few and far between over the recent months.
Thanks to VK3TV for this hide, we liked this one and a favourite is included.
A quiet spot today but anyone with brains would be inside on a day like this.

Came back for another one today after getting off work early.
Parked close to GZ and as it was nice and quiet due to school holidays I had time to look for this one without being disturbed.
This one was a very tricky one to find and had me looking in quiet a few places till I spotted something and I soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks VK3TV TFTC.

Not feeling that great so decided a walk might help Felt so much better after finding this cache that I decided to risk it and go a bit further on. A sneaky hide. Well done. TFTC
A number of caches have popped up in the Epping area recently so today it was time for me to make a trip to earn some smiles. A combination of driving and walked resulted in me finding six caches before homeduties beckoned me.
I came equipped with the correct tool but finding a gap in the walking and driving muggle traffic meant that I spent quite a few minutes 'talking' on my phone.
I am enjoying exploring this part of Epping.
Thank you VK3TV for this cache.

The family wanted to stay in the cool of the house so I decided to take the bike out to the Epping area as I don't really get North too often.
The heat was not really a problem but there was a wicked Northerly that made some legs of the ride a bit more challenging than should be.
After doing the GPSr whilst it settled I soon found the sneaky hide. TFTC.

I know I could have taken a pretty direct route via Peppercorn Pde to get from the previous find to this one, but where would the fun be in that?
Instead, I took a more tortuous, though almost dead straight line up to McDonald's Rd... the pipe track. It's never ceased to amaze and bemuse that access to these obvious walking routes is so bloody arbitrary; locked gates in some sections, then pedestrian squeezes. It's not as if the lines can be used for anything else...
So it was a relief to get on the trail down the drain. I sort of checked the right spot here, but missed the crucial part on the first sweep of the many choices at the coordinates. The second check... Aha. Wait... Oh, very sneaky. I think this was my favourite of the day's ride, VK3TV. Thanks.

Found it! Oh, that's not it, that's the decoy everyone is talking about. Then Cachemstr calls out "something shiny in here!" he was right!
Thank you VK3TV, a fantastic hide, at first I thought I found it but no, then thinking about the cache itself I made the find. This is one of my favorite tracks to ride, most Thursdays I'm on it. Keep up the good placing of caches.

Decided to go for an early morning walk to get a few local Caches before it heats up. I looked in all the usual places but no luck. I knew what container to look for but not where to look. I checked some more then decided to get a hint from the CO, which he gave me. But I still couldn't find it. After yet another hint I found it.... or maybe I didn't!! It looked like a cache, but it wasn't. I had to use a tool (easily found in caching bag) to get the actual cache out. Very sneaky VK3TV!! A good decoy too! Very well thought out. TFTC.
A tricky place to get to, ended up being a bit of a walk, which is always good after sitting in an office most of the day. I like the hide fav point . I think I signed in 2nd place

This is now my 2nd FTF from VK3TV's hides the past week having missed out by 45 mins on one 3 weeks ago. So when the notification came through at approx 2200 hrs I was not going to waste the opportunity on missing out on this one.
Reading the description, I grabbed my "Geo-Go Bag" and headed off. Parking the car on street I had the log signed, tho I'm sure I caused some curiosity with locals with the flash light waving around...lol!
