This was the first cache for the day today and it already started with a debacle. Actually it was the second cache found, or signed rather.. for as soon as we arrived we split up. Mum went towards the traffic box for some calculations, I went towards a tree to climb where I attracted the attention of the third member of our team today to gauge on her phone how far I was from the hide (my geomap had suddenly decided it wanted to be in feet and miles today as well)Mum wasn't having much fun number crunching so we came over to see what's up. Round and round we went and conferred with each other over the table again. Hmm. Which one is out.Turns out I could just tweak the number needed to gather success and then we were off to gz. Where we of course made it a great deal longer and harder than necessary. Good times.Eventually found what we were looking for and no dogs were heard barking the whole time.Go us.Back in the car to who knows. Thanks spiderwebbs4 for the I like traffic lights multi cache! Looking at the gallery pic now, it's different to today, they've added more clouds! .
I have been nibbling away at these traffic light series. I had to stop for this one. I was a bit wary at the final location as the was 2 dogs barking but because of the over grown area near the hide I was not exactly a wire looker. Looked at one tree nope, came back out and thought might as well look at this one, made some more noise, more barking, lifted that and there it was. Thanks for this one, not sure how many I have got, but thanks for this one
I had solved this cache previously, going to GZ, only to get deterred by the nearby hound and its owner who sat out the back watching my gardening activities.I had to be nearby to find another cache, and so had a look at this one and saw that it had recently been replaced, so I headed to GZ. As I arrived, I was again greeted by the local hound, who announced my presence. I could hear voices at the nearby house, but kept my head down and tried to stay on the road side to avoid being spotted. As I was looking, I found a throw-down (ie a Ziplock bag with a couple of familiar names written on a piece of paper, under a rock). Thinking that the replacement had been muggled, I went to my car to again replace the cache container, when I saw the actual replacement which had been logged in November 23. I really have no idea why people would play the game by not finding the cache and just throwing down a log sheet to log a find. These particular cachers, I have personally seen do this at least 6 times. Sigh!! Anyway, its just a game, right? Thanks, spiderwebbs4, for the hide here (although maybe it needs to be moved slightly?)
Another fabulous traffic light multi. We must find more to do.Thanks Spiderwebs4.
I had previously visited the signal box at the posted coordinates on 28/05/2022, but the cache felt a little way away and in the opposite direction, so the cache was left and to be found another day. It did allow me to check my coordinates in the GeoChecker once I was home, and they returned successfully. In the area to grab a high D-T challenge cache for [Freddo](https://coord.info/PR8C14), and I mentioned that I had this cache solved and it was just up the road. We stopped nearby to GZ, and as others commented, the nearby resident was immediately alerted to our presence with their dog barking. I had a quick search of the coordinates around GZ but couldn't find anything. Knowing that the CO was away and to keep this mini-pineapple alive, we left a replacement cache at the base of the tree with an obvious stone/rock for cover. I've added a photo of the hide just to expedite a quick find at GZ given the concerns that the nearby resident may have with Geocachers stopping outside of their place. Thanks [spiderwebbs4](https://coord.info/PR68A9N) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------During this trip, I travelled with [Freddo](https://coord.info/PR8C14) (who was visiting from Adelaide, SA) and we visited Maryborough for an extended weekend.Friday was the drive north, which involved the full day with stops in Nambour, Eumundi, Pomona, Gympie, Tiaro, and Maryborough, and highlights included the *Evil* series and the *Big Aussie Day Bash* series. The weekend's two days prioritised the *Jolly Brolly Folly* (JBF) series and *Geocaching 101* series, with a Sunday afternoon trip to Utopia Falls. Finally, Monday's itinerary included a few last geocaches that were in town, and we then returned home via Beaver Rock, Maaroom, and Tin Can Bay.A fun and rewarding trip with great company and friends, and we were rewarded with good weather throughout our trip.Today, [Freddo](https://coord.info/PR8C14) and I commenced the drive north with a few [Freddo](https://coord.info/PR8C14) targeted D-T geocaches in the Sunshine Hinterland, so we stopped in Woombye and Nambour, before continuing our trip north. I had a targeted Eumundi geocache to find (as it was a non-market day today), and we then spent a couple of hours visiting the *Evil* series nearby to Pomona. After having a bakery lunch in Gympie, we continued north, stopped in Tiaro, and then progressively stopped more as we neared Maryborough. We spent a few hours finding a few geocaches in the *Big Aussie Day Bash* series, and then took a loop around Police Paddock Conservation Park. As the light faded, we caught up with [Liz and Bruce](https://coord.info/PR68BB).
Quick find here. Who does not like a race to the next red traffic light.Freddo traveled north from deep south to catch up with friendly Liz and Bruce and the RV Home base crew. David Wazza provided a sturdy vehicle and we traveled in style. We had good weather. Not to hot. Not to rainy. Lovely one day and perfect the next. The caches were found in a blur of Which Is Next and Where Are We Going Now. Some caches were harder to find than others. Some caches we could see from the car. Regardless all caches were found in the last place we looked.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Stopped by here to look for the cache, but the lady who lives just a few meters awat keeps wandering back and forward watching us, alerted by her dogs to our presence. Pass.
spiderwebbs4 I found your cache I Like Traffic Lights The Little Pineapple on 26/6/2022, 3:50 pm. This is my find 3612 and find # 11 today. Grabbed the information and geochecker gave me the green tick. At GZ took some time to find as it was buried under a lot of leaf litter. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Out for a terrific Chewsday with IolantheK. Our basic plan was to do few labs and some tree fishing. Well we kinda stuck to that.
We had done some ALs , and some fishing. I need a few more field puzzle caches to qualify for a challenge cache. I had acquired the numbers for this one Quite some time ago. I was heading the opposite direction that day , so never made it to GZ. A quick detour today to sign the log.

I need 4 field puzzles to qualify for the newly released January challenge. A cluster in Nambour looks like a good place to go in this cloudy Sunday. This puzzle was perfect.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here spiderwebbs4. Had trouble making the checker to agree, I forgot to include one big pineapple! And counting different objects seems very hard to do when it's hot and humid and hungry! D'oh!

On my way home to Brisbane from visiting family I decided to pick up a few smileys. This cache was on my list to do and at the posted coords I gathered the information needed and just couldn't get the checker to agree so I used a PAF and I had one number wrong. At gz it was getting dark and I looked around . There was alot of rubbish and then some dogs started to bark so had to leave. Hope to get back soon.
A day out with Brislions on an educational journey collecting caches. The night before and I had set up a run with a variety of caches and a range of caches types that we required for certain challenge caches. He had a couple of extra ones to add that he found as we past. We collected a few not on the list as we passed them too and a couple of lab series that we passed as well. It was a good day with a wide variety of caches collected. Thanks for the chauffeuring today Brislions, it was a trip to remember.
This one I had solved a while ago and ran out of time to collect, today was my chance to remedy that. All good with this cache, thanks for multi and placing it here, it had me at first but finally figured it out. With the log signed and the cache replaced as found we headed off to our next cache, we had no time to hang around today.

Day 3 Beerwah. Caching with the Snakepitters.
Had a full day planned, including several AL, but the day didn't go quite as planned as the AL app. seemed to have taken time which left us quite frustrated.
Our day took us through some wonderful countryside & up to some loations with magical views over the Sunshine Coast, a ownderful scenic loop.
So many traffic light caches, the boxes do vary so much in appeaarancs.
Giving this a FP for the many we have done.
Thankyou spiderwebbs4 for placing this cache.

Our final day in Beerwah, today was to venture out and do the Venture labs and pick up a few other caches for the day, however it was not to be with the geocaching update affecting the the venture lad when we were halfway through our second, put a stop to that. We still managed to grab a few. Off to Kilcoy tomorrow, a day of rest, washing and then off to Somerset dam.

On completion of the well attended CITO Event I joined geo friends in the hunt for a few local caches. Its a shame that the grass is so long around WP1 because this signal box is very colourful and nice to look at. Once calculations were done we headed off to GZ where we made a quick find due mainly to the good hint provided, well done CO.

One of the things that can really destroy a great time on any part of the Sunshine Coast is the traffic on the Bruce Highway back to Brisbane. Why do people think that only death and taxes are only things you can be sure about in life? You can also count on a raft of city living folk day-tripping to the better places in life on the weekend because the city sucks.
Before we left Nambour we did a quick Google Map to see how long the trip would be back to Redcliffe (don’t confuse me with those city jerks). We were told the trip was 93 minutes which was about 33 minutes more than I would expect and therefore an extra 33 minutes of feeling awesome in traffic.
So we stopped in to grab this cache hoping the travel time home would reduce. We spent a bit of time admiring the artwork and were off to grab the cache and we weren’t in a hurry. I felt like we soaked up a good 15 minutes and at GZ checked the travel time back home again. Now it was out to 94 minutes. Shit! tftc

After attending an CITO Event in Nambour a group of us found some geocaches around about the area and this was one of the last on the list. I collected information on this one ages ago on my way to Maryborough but didn't get to find it until today. Pleased it now has our signatures in the log. All replaced as found. TFTC
A day caching with RoddyC, Snickersallan, patrol14, Grannysmith1947, deaf phantom, imbunda, E smiley picking up some smiles in the area after the CITO.

Caching on the Sunshine Coast with Mr CuriousQuest and Brislions. A miscount here ahd us headed off to the wrong spot. Once the error or our ways was realised, we headed back and counted again. With new coords, we headed off again. This time, we got it right and we were soon adding our names to the log. TFTC
Up on the Sunshine Coast grabbing a few caches with Selva Girls and CuriousQuest. We pick up 16 caches for the day. We had lots of fun today. Sorry for the generic post, yes more short log because I am so far behind in logging. TFTC. *3828* Finds

Yet another puzzle I had solved for quite a while but wanted to leave to fill in a calendar date. Finally have one whole month now filled in towards the 365/366 challenges. In the process of getting fitter and healthier so decided to take on the challenge of walking from home to this cache the hard way! Felt great afterwards. I had organised a spare bag with WITR paper to replace the wet log but I didn't have pockets and geo-husband inconveniently forgot to put it in his. Will endeavor to remember and try to replace for CO next time we walk up that way

The last of the traffic light series for NyssaFlutterby, wombles and co, and I today. We headed here and searched around a couple of spots before the cache was noticed underneath some monsteriosa rather exposed. With the soggy loggy signed we popped it back in place as per the hint before heading on our way.

Up this way for an air con fix and coffee with my sis so this quick diversion had us appreciating some more signal boxes and looking odd on around the trees, fortunately we were here early so all was good. Tftc
Picked up this little multi while doing something else close. I quite like a quick simple multi.
Was near the start of this multi grabbing another cache, so decided to add to our list for the day. Quickly had the final coords and cache was soon in hand. TFTC!
Traveling through with the group. While pocketing the nearby challenge for much later on, collected the necessary info for this multi. On the way to Nambour this was a short diversion and a quick find. Thanks for keeping this one active spiderwebbs4.
I needed to circle around a couple of times before locating this little bugger. The logbook is quite damp but I was still able to sign it. It’s tucked up nice and cosy covered in camouflage, ready for the next visitor. TFTC
Can't believe I am actually participating in this MatM souvenir thing.

Found cache. Enjoyed working out the co-Ords but found the placement of the cache strange and dangerous. Tftc picked up trackable.
Tried and tried with my coords and revisited to find I’d missed one tiny element. Quick find thereafter. Thanks for the fun!!
On the way up to Noosa on Thursday I stopped here but my maths failed me. So embarrassing! Realised my error once at our room for the weekend so back I came today armed with correct GZ cords and a quick grab! TFTC

Late log, date and time is accurate, but finally getting around to logging these.
Travelling on my monthly trip from Beaudesert to Cooroy and return, I run a weekly pocket query 10 k's either side of the highway, slowly working through the several thousand. This was find #1 of 4.
For some reason it took several goes for me to count the objects to obtain the required digits. With the rain falling, I quickly started counting, made the mistakes then ended up taking photos before taking refuge in the car. The digits were eventually found, and the checker finally agreed with me.
Of I drove up the car, letting the passing storm pass over before diving into a likely spot. Cache was quickly found much to my delight. It's a beautiful area up here.
Thank you spiderwebbs4 for this cache, cache was in good condition but a little damp with the bag being ripped (well it was back in January). Log was signed and replaced as found.

Out during school hours for a caching adventure between Palmwoods and Nambour, picking up some hitherto unfound caches.
Nice to finally turn this one onto a smilie! A previous visit with Slow Puncture ended in frustration, I'm still unsure how we got it so wrong. Today was a quick find, looks like this one will be getting some new neighbours soon, houses are springing up everywhere.

What beautiful art work on this signal box! Sat and did the coords then strolled along to find the cache. It was a nice view on the way back to the car. TFTC
Out and about in Nambour today and I just had to pop in here to do the pineapple. Another fine artwork that I normally just whiz past so thanks for the reason to stop and enjoy it up close. Once at GZ it was an obvious find so I tried to camouflage it a little before I left. Thanks spiderwebbs4 for this great series.
Today I'm out and about with barbbowman and Mrs SP and we're after ILTL series caches in the Nambour area today.
Our first ILTL cache for the day and the artwork on the signal box was lovely. Who would have thought there were so many talented artists all around us. The Little Pineapple was very cute and it didn't take us long to find some good numbers - bb and I have a bit of a system now of who does what that involves double-checking what we count etc. (I know, tragic but true), but it seems to find us pretty much in the right spot (most of the time, LOL!). We drove to GZ and quickly found the cache, but I'm not sure how long it will be here for as there is building going on right next to where it's hiding. Shame, because it's a nice view from here. Sunday. The SPs were up this way with a specific cache in mind. This one was not it but was nabbed on the way! We stopped by to collect this cache. We had it solved some time ago, but when we realised we were in the wrong spot, recalculated our numbers and came up with a better looking spot. The day was running out however, and we had to be back by a deadline, so left this cache for another day. Today was that day, and we made a quick find! Yay.
This was the 1st of 3 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***spiderwebbs4***, for showing us this place.

Tuesday. Mrs SP was out up the coast in the light rain today with Orange Crew, both with kayaks in tow. We were going to collect this as our last cache for the day, but ended up being a bit off with final workings and did not find today. We’ll be back another time!

We spent quite a while working on the numbers, only to find they were incorrect. Not sure where we went wrong. Until next time
T-Tech and I came up here to grab the South East Corner Challenge, and seeing as this new cache was right nearby we moseyed over and checked out the signal box. The CO certainly made us look long and hard at every detail but we came up with a good set of numbers, and drove over to our GZ. Here I made a quick find, and we then went to Buderim to see his Mum for Mothers Day. TFTC, spiderwebs. Neatly done.

I was in the area today so I decided to grab a couple of caches whilst I had the opportunity.
After checking out the traffic lights signal box, a reasonable set of coordinates were obtained and set about walking up the hill to search for the cache.
The search took a little while but eventually it was found.
The log was signed and returned to the cache and the cache replaced exactly as found.
All is good with this cache.

Did all the necessary counting and came up with s correct set of co ords. Off up the hill to find the cache
Almost walked into a massive spider in its web. Uggh

Couldn't work this one out before I left home so I spent a bit of time counting things at the corner Gee a lot of cars pass this spot ! I'm sure the clipboard and ute parked next to the box made it look official [^]. I sat and did the sums then drove to the GZ and yep I was right.
Signed logbook Kingfisherau 5/04/2018, 11:30 AM and replaced all as found,

Enjoyed the art work on this one. Arrived at GZ and there were three places to search and obviously the cache was in the last place I looked. TFTC spiderwebbs4
2TF @ 6.45.
After a lovely lunch with my daughters and their partners for Easter overlooking Mooloolaba beach. we decided to come over to do this one as I thought it was still unfound.
Rocked up to the Virtual waypoint and did some counting.
Soon had the coordinates worked out and headed to GZ.
We found the cache under torchlight and signed the log returning it to where we found it.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks spiderwebb4 All good with this cache and multi

After a visit to Woombye today I headed down to this new multi.
I soon gathered the information and was sitting in my car working things out when the Police pulled up beside me and asked if I was okay. I told them I was having a seniors moment and trying to work out a puzzle for a game. They gave me a nod and headed off.
I soon had the next set of co-ords and headed off to the final GZ where the cache was soon in hand. When I finally extracted the log from the plastic bag I opened it found a blank log sheet. Always nice to get FTF.
The log was stuck in the plastic bag by some glue[?] on the back of the log book. Unfortunately the bag ripped as I got the book out, sorry.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.
