First physical cache of the day and one that we targeted because of its rating, its adventure and its location in an LGA weve never been to. CC and SNG came out on the bridge and proved how awesome and brave they are. FP from a very proud dad. TNLN TFTC
Its been a while since weve teamed up, but the 3 Stooges (weredunn4, WayneAPN, Cheezel1961) are back at it again Today we are targeting the Tour de France (TdF) series plus any other interesting caches we might cross paths with.Cache quickly found and stampedTFTC
It's been a while since our last get together to spend a day caching with Weredunn4 and Cheezel1961. With all the stuff occurring in each of our daily lives and work etc, the stars seem to align today for an outing out together, targeting the TDF series. Plus a few in easy range, hey were are out this way, may as well do them. Plus the usual target of interesting, unique D/T grids as well as high T caches. Thanks for this one, an easy find.TFTC SL
This was one of many caches along the back-roads for naughtybunny and I on the way home from our Burra road trip. It was an amazing weekend with amazing caches. This one was no exception - in fact it was one of our favourites! We knew where we had to go and it was a balancing act and not freaking out to get to GZ. Absolutely love these structures and thanks heaps for bringing us here. TNLN. Cheers.
Woo Hoo, I did it!There may have been a short moment where I stopped and waited for Chookster to hold my hand, and I may have refused to turn around in case I fell off, and I may have looked down a few too many times, but I did it! TFTC Freddo, we were at the stage of just wanting to get home, but so glad we stopped for this one.
Went to the edge and started looking too early, and then walked a bit further. Fortunately the beam was wide but it was still a considerable drop to the floor. Made the cache find and signed the log. A brilliant spot for a cache!
A drive after work had us at Eudunda, remembering we still had this one left in the area we decided on a circular drive home to collect this one along the way, a short walk through some grass seeds and we walked the studded plank to GZ much easier than I first thought it would be, then a little jump down to collect the cache, now reverse all that for a fun cache

What a cool cache! Mrs matmob was the brave one while Mr matmob stood by ready to pick up the pieces . Of course I was on the wrong side but luckily that didn't matter too much. Very pleased with myself until I got back to the car and realised I'd left my phone at the spot where I started crawling.........

A quick find made this afternoon while out in this area. After finding a spot to park, made our way to Air Zero and soon after, had the cache in hand. Like this different hiding spot, well tucked away from muggles. Returned with half of Eudunda's population of grass seeds in our feet.
Find #3738 at 5:36:20 pm on 14 Jan 2022.

TFTC Freddo!
Today I headed north for a day of caching around Eudunda. It was a perla of a day for caching perfect temperature, blue skies and it was good to be alive.
Found around 50 caches for the day. Saw loads of sleepy lizards tying to cross the roads.
Lovely area will be back soon for more. So many caches to find so little time.
I wasn’t sure whether I should attempt this one but decided to give it a whirl. Thankfully no where near as scary as that other one you made me do on the Pichi Richi railway and no trains to worry about either. Nice quick find TFTC Freddo

found in the dark under torch light. you just don't pass a t4.5 and not stop. quick fin and also last cache of the holiday.
found with Mogni. Headed out in the general direction of clare and planned to clean out clare before the June Long Weekend End Event in 2022. As usual there was ALOT of caches found before then and only a couple of caches where found in clare before staying in Farrel Flat for the night. The next day was cleaning out Burra and slowly making our way home. Damn doing multi's takes so long, since the final has a habit of not being in the direction you are planning to go next. All caches that where found that were brittle or damaged were replaced and logs found wet where replaced, except for nano's. Nano's are evil spawn and you can do your own maintanence on them.

It was school holidays and I needed a break from school and chores and needed to just have some fun. I talked sir_spectre into joining me for a weekend away caching near Clare and Burra. We avoided the big towns and focused on the caches we normally drive past on the way to somewhere else. Any caches that needed some attention got it.
Thanks to Freddo from mogni

Found during a day out caching in the Kapunda and wider area with Freddo and Team Waldron. We signed our names in full or abbreviated to F.F.TW in caches that none of us had previously found, and in full when one or the other (various combinations) had already claimed on a prior visit. A total of around 40 finds for each of us today, plus 5 for the local Lab cache to clear up a nice area on the map. Found just as it was starting to rain, thankful that the CO was guiding the search just seconds before the heavens opened. Thanks for the cache Freddo!
Out for a day around Kapunda with Freddo and Featherwaite. We got hot from the sun, soaked from the rain and every type of weather in between.
It pays to have the cache owner in the car. Luckily the rain had stopped while were here.

Moving from Adelaide to Brisbane, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I decided to drive the long distance to make the opportunity a holiday, taking 12 days and passing through Victoria, New South Wales, and then finally arriving in Queensland. We spent the first few days in SA's Riverland, visiting Morgan, Berri and Renmark; and then drove through Mildura in Victoria. In NSW, we stopped at Hay, Parkes, Merriwa, Tamworth, Port Macquarie, and Coffs Harbour, and then entered Qld to stop for a night in Robina in the Gold Coast.
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I commenced our mega journey to the north! We had a final farewell breakfast with family in Burnside, and then started the drive, as a small amount of rain fell (Adelaide crying perhaps?). We took the route through Kapunda stopping at a few geocaches, and then had a rest in Eudunda whilst grabbing a cornish pasty. We then arrived at a friend's shack just outside of Morgan after lunch, and enjoyed an afternoon of Murray river kneeboarding and water skiing.
This geocache had been on my target list today given its high terrain rating. After parking and inspecting the obvious structure, I soon realised what was required. So with some balancing acts required, I soon made it across, and then I had no trouble in locating the geocache! The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Freddo the Son of a Son of a Son of a Railwayman for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

I did not make it to the early morning CITO but a spur of the moment decision had me meeting up with gridge98 at Mawson Lakes to head up to Eudunda to find some out of the way caches that we both had not found. I left home at 7:30am and returned at 8:30pm after a big day with 49 finds. We did a big loop finishing in Kapunda and I think this was a record for me with the number of multis found in a day.
I have never been good with heights and even though gridge had already found it he said we should stop for me to make the find...well I didn't get right out to GZ and he kindly offered to make the retrieval for me while I tried very hard not to look down.
Thanks for the cache Freddo.

Looking forward to a day of caching with erine14[:X] and alysse14[:X], Rex and I were up early
Made room in the car for the girls[^] and alysse14 shared the back seat with Rex, where she played hairstylist with his hair and gave him a mohawk!
We had a great day and enjoyed great weather travelling the countryside[^] while finding 11 caches for me, which included a surprising 4 FTFs[:X]
The girls found many more as the aim of the day was to help erine14 get closer to 2,000 and so the day was based around doing some of the 50 series: in the end the 0 was completed and the 2 new replacement caches in the 5... plus an attempt to drive the Corolla down the front part of the 5 where the track is rough as Except after having driven this track twice before, years ago, today the track defeated the tough little Corolla and retreat was the order of the day
It also included a railway bridge and it seems Rex has the best head for heights out of us all although alysse14 did an amazing job of the retrieval[^][:X] especially when Rex had to make sure she was ok
A fantastic day out with lots of laughs Thank you for the great company[^][:X]
Yep, this railway bridge!
Between erine14 breathing heavily, Rex running along each side of the bridge several times, me trying to keep everyone calm[^] and alysse14 just doing her thing[^], this will remain a memorable cache for some time![^]

I must admit being a tad worried, at 72 and a bit windy, I wasn't sure how I'd go.
But I overcame the obstacle and found and signed the log and was back on firm ground very quickly.
Thank you for the cache.

Stopped and of course had to get this one, nothing to scary about this, I don’t mind a bit of a fear factor. Cache is all good
A nice day out caching around eudunda and the surrounding areas, despite the on and off rain all day majority of the caches were easy enough to get to. Total of 39 finds and 1 DNF.
Thanks for the cache

It was that time of the week again. It was time for the Wednesday Wanderings of the Puzzled Puzzler group in search of those smilies. [^] Today I got to join S.A. Sewer Rats, Blackadders and sushilord for a wander up towards Burra in search of solved puzzles and anything else that we were passing. [^]
I've been walking on the railroad. But only to where it began to get well....interesting. I'm pretty sure Zee would have put it a bit further out! But I was happy enough to just have to get to where I did. Still a long way down if you slipped! A pretty quick find and sign in the end. And with the sun beginning to set this was going to be the last for the day!
**Thanks Freddo for this cache. **

Our last cache for the day. This cache would not have been attempted if I was traveling solo. Fortunately several of the crew walked the last few metres but I was prepared to give it a go notwithstanding my fear of falling.

The usual weekly Wednesday with some of the Puzzled Puzzlers. The plan was to clear out Burra and any others on the way. The Starfish, KORF and the Adder met at the Sewer Rats at 9am for this long day of seeking plastic containers in the outback.
On the way home after a long day, we had to stop for just one more, Freddo's working on the railroad cache.
The Starfish and Adder risked the walk of death while the KORF and Rat stayed on the terra firma giving support and guidance. The Starfish retrieved the log book, The Adder took it to the safety support crew to sign and then back where it was handed to the Starfish to return to its hiding hole.
TFTC Sir Frog and a fun end t the day.

We were out caching on a lovely sunny June day.
We passing by on our way back to the Rat den.
It was decided that The Starfish and Adder would go out three to get the cache.
The Adder brought the logbook back to the Rat and Fish so we could sign the logbook. tftc

Hi there Freddo.
We found your cache **"I've Been Working On The Railroad"** at 12:39:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 22276).
Our primary aim for the day was to finish off the "TDF" series. Exactly 7 years ago we were celebrating Skippy's birthday at Roonka, and started our first "power trail" from the other end. We abandoned our quest about half way as we thought it was a boring thing to do, but we have since attempted many other "power trails". - We also had to find this one. As it's not part of the series it deserves a finely crafted log, not one of the crappy cut-n-paste ones that usually are associated with power trails.
We found 43 caches today & DNF'd 1. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.
PS: Following on from recent comments received; our log or stamp is not necessarily placed in the last spot in the book or sheet. If we find a blank spot when we open the log - that is where it goes.

I travel this road regularly for work and have found most of the caches along this route, so when travelling past today after working a little east of this location, it was a surprise to see a cache close to this road. So it was an easy decision to stop and make the find. Parked nearby and wandered to GZ and after a false start worked out the correct approach to the cache and quickly found the cache, signed the log and replaced it in its hide. bgmat does not have any railwaymen in the family but that didn't hinder the find.

A first I thought the cache was going to be on the middle one so I walked out and quickly found the cache a bit sooner than I was expecting!
I think this was cache number 11,000 for me to! (it's always a Freddo one isn't it...)

Both Red and Ronso were still working when this cache popped up.
By the time we were able to start considering heading out for a find, we realised it was going to be dark when we reached GZ... this along with the terrain rating, we were a little hesitant. But we were keen... and it seemed like a good night for an adventure. We arrived at an appropriate parking location and admired the stars, before making our way along the old railway passage towards GZ. Such a great historic structure... and an adventurous place for a cache! Stamped the log book... and left some small swag. TFTC Freddo... the son of a son of a son of a railwayman!!
