Its with a sad an heavy heart ive decided, Charli has ran his course. In hindsight.... placement should have been better and away from so many Muggle homesteads. Maintenance is too much for me to keep up with as time with Miss 2 takes priority. Its been an awesome ride mate, we achieved amazing things together. Rest easy with the Caching gods my friend. x

At some point, Kryslazz will be back in the caching world with much better placements and long term maintainable caches.

Another puzzle where a nudge from fellow puzzlers was required. The search at GZ proved to be a challenge after a short time I returned to the car to discuss options when we noticed a tractor we had spotted earlier when we were at another location headed towards us and parked a short distance from the car. I got out of our car to say hello. He asked what we were doing and noted that we probably weren’t mushrooming. I said that one of the reasons we were around was birding and we had a brief discussion re local birds and he pointed out some nearby local wedge tail eagles circling over his property. This group was apparently quite common visitors and he said that he could approach quite closely. These birds are a minor concern with young lambs around. I also mentioned we were geocaching and he asked what this was all about. We had a friendly chat and he did note that he is interested in what goes on in his backyard. He indicated that activities like birding and geocaching was a waste of time. I guess his energies go into managing his farm and that he doesn’t have time for unessential activities! So after he left it was back to the search and this time I managed to find the container. Thanks to kryslazz for the puzzle and cache.

I was heading way out east on a camping adventure and needed a mystery for the day so stopped off to complete this one that I had previously solved.

I recall being quite frustrated by this puzzle as I had a solve that the checker didn’t like. I soon found out that despite being plausible, my method was completely wrong. I can’t say I enjoy puzzles of this kind.

At GZ I found a spot to pull over and set about exploring. The cache was soon found and the log signed. On to the next one (there is always one more!).

Thanks kryslazz for placing this gamepiece in the wild for us to find.

With restrictions eased and travel to regional Victoria now permitted, a trip was planned with Crustyvarmint and his muggle friend Keith to pickup some solved puzzles in Gippsland. Heading home after 3 days on the road, today was dedicated to trying to find as many of this series before fatigue set in, or the weather turned nasty. Whichever came first.

Sneaky, sneaky, sneaky puzzle, that had me stumped. Thank goodness for PAF’s.

Cache found, and contents admired.

Thanks so much kryslazz for all your hard work in setting up this brilliant series. You did good!

I think Steve did the honours here, as Kym and I stood by and gave advice. Tftc kryslazz.

Apologies for the generic log. Found over a year ago with SirJ-Oz on a trip to Gippsland for the Rockwiz series, Robot Charli and a few assorted others. A busy day with 39 finds and several DNFs thrown in too. Thanks for the puzzles kryslazz which passed some time during lockdown as we worked through them all and for the cache we picked up this pleasant visit. Sorry to see this one has been archived since our visit.

Find #4912. Found @ 14:24 with Annoying Tarbit

After many virtual puzzle solving evenings over lockdown Annoying Tarbit and I have solved lots of puzzles in and around the Moe area, so an outing was planned for today to collect on some of the geo-art puzzles, and some others along the way.

I can't remember who made the find here, but it was probably Annoying Tarbit - he was on fire today.

Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache kryslazz

Had the chance to stop and collect this one while in the area picking up other caches.
Living in Melbourne for 3 weeks and the chance shorten the travel time was too great.
Thought that I could ride my fold up bike. Not smart with those tracks and uphills. Walked more than I rode.
Enjoyed the puzzle and happy to win here.
Thanks kryslazz -

Cards are fun - this is not quite like a game though! Taking the long way home to the NE and happy to have a Charlie break enroute! This series has been enlightening - like some sort of brain development in progress if its not too late at my grand 'ol age (I hope) Yes, it did take a few hints from my now not so new geo buddies who collectively managed to find some strategies to get some of the final solutions. Glad its a quiet day in this road section. TFTC and the fun kryslazz - its been a blast!

Another day of trying to collect some well earned smilies after many hours working on these clever puzzles. The heat and long grass were a bit of a worry today but we had lots of fun searching with team TACKT. We chose to walk a distance rather than park and grab.

Thank you for the cache and another sneaky puzzle challenge. There was a good hint inside the cache, lol

Team T.A.C.K.T on the hunt for puzzle caches!! Our team puzzle master jaamc has spent alot of time working these out and we are always keen to tag along to get some finds :3 always great fun with the team on board

Knowing we were coming up to Morwell for the practice match between Hawthorn and St Kilda yesterday (Hawks won -Yey!!) and that we were staying overnight in Newborough, we set about solving as many of the Robot Charli puzzles as possible. After GMelb had no luck with the red herrings lol, this one was almost solved by JMelb, she had the right idea, just the wrong position so we PAF’d and were soon on the right track. Cache found by GMelb as JMelb couldn’t get up there die to a knee injury last weekend caching!

When a free afternoon without kids comes up and you're in the area anyway? Well that, my friends, sounds like a golden opportunity to collect a few more of this series. these puzzles have been solved for so long but frustratingly difficult to get to gz in amongst the daily grind. Very happy to collect this one today, loved the theme, and also managed you collect a pocketful of wild plums while I was at it. TFTC for the great series Kryslazz... and welcome to your newest caching team member

Omegaman asked ahomburg and myself if we wished to come and find this series. So I set about looking at the puzzles in the lead up. In the end a great day was had collecting the caches. Thanks for placing the cache kryslazz and for the puzzles.

Find #10753

Headed out on this beautiful summers day with beckNmonts and omegaman1971 with the main focus being the Robot Charlie series and a few other nearby puzzles and multi's. Sadly the day finished with quite a lot of DNF's (Not through lack of trying) and an incomplete Robot Charlie.

Many thanks to kryslazz for the cache. TNLN.

Big things are continuing to happen! *Are you joining the fun again in 2020?*

Out and about in the area with BeckNmonts and Ahomburg to tackle the local geoart and put a few smiles on the map.
The day was full of laughter and many awesome hides, unfortunately we did have some DNF's.
A few of the caches had some fun containers and interesting themes.

Able to get back to this area for a short while again, and trying to catch up on finalising the series, having solved all the puzzles some time ago. Thanks Kryslazz for all your hard work and persistence in keeping this series alive.

At 3 separate times I have collected various Robot Charli caches, but only now getting around to logging them.

This is certainly a terrific series to do.

Thank you kryslazz for designing and placing this series for our enjoyment.

Catching up with late logs

We really enjoyed working our way through these puzzles, some of them were exceptionally clever and we've had the corrected co ordinates for quite awhile and today we were finally going to head down and try our luck with Alansee and Micaparamedic. Fortunately Alansee mentioned there had to be a few changes to allow for the shifted caches and we were able to sort this out on the drive down.

We found all that we searched for except for the Great Race and with parking at a premium in some places we were happy that we were only in one car today and as the cache pages say some of the caches require a bit of walking after parking the car.

To save rooms with the smaller logs we used the acronym MATC.

Unfortunately picking up other caches as we went today we didn't find them all so we will have to return another day to do that.

Thanks kryslazz for an enjoyable series.

Found with Team Crackers and Micaparamedic today. A nice quick solve.

16-Mar-19
At last we are back in the right area to collect some more of Robot Charli's caches. We did remember to re-check ALL the co-ords before setting out.
We decided that we would drive home when it gets dark so that we can gather some more smileys for Charli. All of these ones were found nice and quickly, although one did give us more than we bargained for. Still have a dislike for cache guardians even though we seem to be seeing a lot of them.
Thanks for these caches and bringing us out here. Glad that you were able to move them and didn't archive them.

16-Mar-19
After having spent so much time on these caches it was great to be able to look for some more on our way home from the Walhalla events. So pleased that after the initial issues, these have been moved and not archived.
We managed to find all the ones that we had time to look for. One or two took longer than the others and one is lucky to still exist after we were greeted with a secreted cache guardian. Lucky when it flew, we were able to track it, retrieve it and return it.
Thank you for the effort that you have put into this great series. We didn't get the chance to quite finish this trip so hopefully one more trip and we will have them all. Thanks.

I haven't finished with the series from last year so decide to come here again to catch up. Very warm day today. Puzzle solved. Found it. Thanks kryslazz for placing the Robot Charli series.

Accompanied with crank1 for the day, before go home (Perth) Enjoyed ride the car to Moe.
The weather is pretty warm day. Many thanks to crank1 and friends for the puzzles.
Moe is lovely country - plenty of cows/bulls also some sheep's.
Only found 21 out of 45 so "must come back to finish the series".[^][^][^]

Thanks for kryslazz for the hide the cache and hunt.

With the Mega now over it was time for one of the FurfacesLL team to return home for work and the other one to soldier on with Rapidlywild. Also visiting friends around the area on the down days when RW was busy.

Well a clear day for a change so we went to collect the Robot Charli series. Can't take any credit on these RW did all the hard work solving these as we were actually off traveling overseas trying to solve their puzzles. So today we rewarded her extra gray hairs with smileys.

Thanks for the hide and puzzle and bringing them back to life kryslazz and thanks to Rapidlywild for the company and caching adventure.

Sorry for the generic logs.

21-Nov-18
The Mega had been and gone however myself and FFLL#1 were staying on for another week with some other commitments. I had a charity Gala dinner to attend to on the Saturday following the Mega so it only made sense to stay on in Victoria. We were staying out Gippsland way so we had targeted Robot Charli and a couple other series to do, however the weather decided to go against us and we did not get all that were planned. It doesnt matter, we still got a fair few done in the time we were here. Once it was time to start heading home, we went via Albury to pick up some more puzzles of which we had solved.

Well it was time to get out and clean up Robot Charli. I was one of the early solvers of this series, I earnt myself MANY grey hairs solving this guy and I was super upset when he got archived.... But he was resurrected, and in time for us to come collect him!!! The puzzles ranged from easy to super hard, truely was a series for all the puzzle solvers! Apologies for the generic logs, its been a massive week with the Mega (bike riding and lots of walking) and then this series soon after, the legs were feeling it thats for sure.

Thanks for the cache hide kryslazz and the ladies of FurfacesLL for another great caching adventure away from home Big Grin

It was great to see Robot Charlie come back on line and give us the opportunity to go out to search the final locations.
With Roostaman arriving from places afar to the area on his way to the Parkville Mega, it was time to team up once gain with RebelActs for an attempt on the series and some of the caches we had still not found in Moe. Today we were also joined by KI Bug in the hunt so a fun-filled day was definitely in store!
Credit to Rebel who was the key to the puzzle solving and had put in many hours over quite some time to finally achieve success to unlock the series.
A plan was hatched to meet and head out. We came across a variety of hides with some interesting twists in widely differing locations. Some easily accessed and others more challenging.
There was much by-play throughout the day, mostly seeming to centre round ‘organization’ and the need for GSAK, despite the fact it won’t run on IOS! There were caches missing logs, only to find the log-overlooked within the cache! We discovered ‘Emergendy logs!!!’, a new terminology that was embraced and will be a common thread in conversation from now on! The biggest disagreement was over the lunch venue, with Rebel detailing the pluses and minuses of McDonalds over Hungry Jacks!
All in all, a great day out touring the local area with much fun had by all.
Thank you for the series Kryslazz.

15-Nov-18
I was asked if I would like to join some mad “oldies” (a cheeky farmer’s description of us on the day!) on a day’s geocaching in the Moe area, mainly focusing on the Robot Charlie series. Having not been in fine geocaching form over recent months I was a little concerned that my physical participation may have been limited however I jumped at the chance. Consequently Mr K.I. bug joined an amazing outing with Mr SkiPair, RoostaMan and Rebel Acts. It was a day full of friendly barbs and jokes and a great example of how much fun can be had geocaching with great company.
Thanks must go to the other members of the “team” who completed a lot of “solving” and organized the adventure.
We hit the ground running (well sort of!) and successfully found a cache every few minutes in a combined effort. We went at a fast pace, not stopping until late lunch time and I must admit that on occasions I was the “provider of the pen” rather the member who scaled the cliff or whatever else was required however I was very pleased with my effort on the day. Consequently it looks like more geocaching will be coming up!
Although there were a good variety of hides with some requiring a walk, all were generally found quite quickly. What else, with such an experienced team! We did have to provide a couple of “emergency logs” where they had disappeared.

Another excellent puzzle in the series - thanks for your caches and fun kryslazz,

A great day on the trails with Rebel Acts, Ski Pair & K I Bug.
All good safe hides and many quick finds. Wink

My good Mate Roostaman was down from Wagga Wagga for the Mega and staying at My place, A plan was hatched to meet up with Ski Pair and KI Bug and do the Robot Charli series and a few other caches in the Moe area. With Robot Charli almost self destructing I was keen to get them found after spending so many hours working on it. Thanks kryslazz for the cache.

I set off early in the morning to spend the day collecting 36 of the Robot Charli puzzle caches that I have solved to-date. I was devastated when the CO had to archive them all however it is a testament to her resolve that she has revived them.

An interesting puzzle that had me going for a while. A quick find at the GZ. TFTC.

*Found whilst on a Robot Charli cleanup*

Out and about with The Empire.

One of the many caches we found but was unable to log them until they were enabled again.

No issues with the first few. It was only later that we had some issues as we found ourselves too close to some peoples properties for their liking.
Some ordinary hides in some ordinary locations. It seems that the new hides have rectified this.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache anyway kryslazz.

Stamped and returned as found...

Found by The Empire with Snap Happy
The plan was to cruise through Moe, pick up the caches in the Robot Charli series, then off to Foster for the night. The longest stretch of caches in the series started off wobbly and ended wobbly. What was in the middle was a decent run of finds, which after solving all of these puzzles at home, was a relief. Thanks for the cache and the series kryslazz.

Solving this one, we were well and truly heading up the wrong garden path. Over thinking and over researching.

The find was pretty straight forward and I loved the cache, so a favourite point from me.

20-Jul-18
Loved the extra thought that went into this cache.

15-Jul-18
I looked at this diabolical puzzle from an obviously red herring point of view, and was totally blindsided by a real card sharp. Full points for the diabolical twist in the way these hands were dealt. Plus I needed a tip from the workshop before I could solve this one, and extra help from our geo chauffeur Darren to obtain the cache. This was a much higher difficulty terrain rating than is indicated on the puzzle page. It may have been a simple task for young athletic ladies, with a higher ability than this old septuagenarian can manage, to place it here.
Thanks to good friends in times of need, our party was able to log this one.
And congratulations on the novel cache container

15-Jul-18
Had some help from CO Sam at the workshop event on this puzzle. Rolled my eyes when i realized how easy it was. Loved this one. The hide proved to be a little more difficult but we goats got it in the end.

15-Jul-18
Obviously the T rating for this and several other caches in this series was determined by a mountain goat rather than two 60+women with various leg and spine problems who need to use walking sticks for balance up anything thing steeper than a 30degree slope. For me this is usually a 2.5 T rating or more. This slope was more like a 70 degree slope which would correlate to a 3 or even higher rating. Cards difficult dangerous corner once the cache was finally located The_Evil_Muggle , who considerably younger than either Cybergran or me, scaled the 3+metre embankment while I stayed at the side of the road close to the road edge just after a blind corner for cars speeding down the hill from Moe, directing him. I was amused by the contents. Nice touch of fun, well constructed and perfectly matching that puzzle’s theme.

07-Apr-18
Being in town this weekend I decided to tackle some of the puzzles that I had managed to solve, and had some time this morning to find as many as I could. With the puzzle sorted after following the normal path and then not, I was pleased for a quick find at GZ today. It was a nice twist as I opened the container, very suitable.

Thanks to kryslazz for placing this cache.

We sat at the computer for a while looking at this one trying all different ways to solve this turns out we made it alot harder then it should of been im blaming the june unloved challenge and all the puzzles i was solving but were happy to finally have this one done and dusted tftc

After setting up camp for the night, we braved the windy weather and set about seeking out some of the many caches dotted all around our map of Moe.
The idea of a cute little robot sitting in the Latrobe Valley has been intriguing, a tight learning curve and at times frustrating. The cache here really takes the cake!

Thanks 'kryslazz' for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

I still read this puzzle title "Can't read my mind"

After a bit of research I had cracked the puzzle and entered the numbers into the checker and got a red light, what? I messaged the CO and got a reply that I am not the first person to ask that question.
So I had a red herring, but where was the answer?

Days later I finally cracked it. Got to offer a favorite point, for the puzzle

Today even with this cache already found, this was still the first on the list. Found a good parking spot, crossed the road in the rain and climbed a steep embankment and found the cache. Glad no cars passed, not sure what they would have thought

Thanks for the cache Krys Lazz
