Its with a sad an heavy heart ive decided, Charli has ran his course. In hindsight.... placement should have been better and away from so many Muggle homesteads. Maintenance is too much for me to keep up with as time with Miss 2 takes priority. Its been an awesome ride mate, we achieved amazing things together. Rest easy with the Caching gods my friend. x

At some point, Kryslazz will be back in the caching world with much better placements and long term maintainable caches.

I’ve never been a Simpson fan but the puzzle was straightforward. The search did take a few minutes as the container was nicely hidden. Thanks to kryslazz for the puzzle and cache.

Not my favourite show but my son loved it way back in the 80's.
Thanks for this one had no trouble here, kryslazz

It’s New Years Eve and Day 6 of the Bring In The New Year (BITNY) road-trip. It’s time to finish up in eastern Victoria with a mixture of cache types in Moe and Trafalgar.

The Simpsons was one of my most favourite shows so it didn’t take long to solve this puzzle. I’d heard about the history of this series and fortunately had the updated coords. I searched in a few spots initially, however after widening my circle a little the cache was revealed.

Thanks kryslazz for placing this gamepiece in the wild for us to find.

Missed the change in co-ords here.

Just happen to be on this side of the ranges after looking at a possible new car and catching up with mum. So why not drive home the long way via Moe? Glad I did. This Reserve is really lovely. Also glad I saw a few unmarked tracks that would lead the way to the goods. This whole series has been Fun and at times frustratingly fabulously challenging! Fortunately I've met up with a few brainy geobuddies or at least a few that collectively have shed light on some puzzling conundrums that delve into a huge range of sub cultures and just stuff. Needless to say, the learning curve continues to go up and some new strategies even underpin my solo efforts. TFTC Krislazz - and your commitment to maintenance.

Team T.A.C.K.T on the hunt for puzzle caches!! Our team puzzle master jaamc has spent alot of time working these out and we are always keen to tag along to get some finds :3 always great fun with the team on board

This puzzle was put aside several times as I was unfamiliar with the theme of the puzzle. A topic that is probably very familiar to many was a bit of a challenge for me. I was feeling confident with my research but yet again the checker rejected my work. One of my new anxieties during this COVID year is geochecker rejection! The cache was put aside again until someone kindly pointed out my oversight.
Thanks again for another clever puzzle to build on my puzzling experience.

I’d only got a 50% success rate of finding these Robot Charlie caches this afternoon we gave this one a go. It was with some apprehension I headed to GZ. Do I take the high road or low road to get there? I took the low road because it fitted the TRating. It was a good choice. I was pleased to find the cache was exactly what I expected it to be after reading the hint. When you find them, these caches are different and therefore interesting.

Knowing we were coming up to Morwell for the practice match between Hawthorn and St Kilda yesterday (Hawks won -Yey!!) and that we were staying overnight in Newborough, we set about solving as many of the Robot Charli puzzles as possible. GMelb solved this but the geochecker didn’t agree. After checking with a PAF, he was able to fix the error. After we had lunch GMelb found this one easily

Find #10737

Headed out on this beautiful summers day with beckNmonts and omegaman1971 with the main focus being the Robot Charlie series and a few other nearby puzzles and multi's. Sadly the day finished with quite a lot of DNF's (Not through lack of trying) and an incomplete Robot Charlie.

This one had us tricked, its amazing how you think it must be one place and you dont search anywhere else. beck made the find on this sneaky little cache.

Many thanks to kryslazz for the cache. TNLN.

Big things are continuing to happen! *Are you joining the fun again in 2020?*

Out and about in the area with BeckNmonts and Ahomburg to tackle the local geoart and put a few smiles on the map.
The day was full of laughter and many awesome hides, unfortunately we did have some DNF's.
A few of the caches had some fun containers and interesting themes.
Cheers for the cache

Geodad is a big fan of this and helped Geomum solve the puzzle a little faster.
Stopped when all was quiet and was able to sign the log without incident. Thank you kryslazz, this is our first Charli find, and we look forward to many more!

A nice quick find had the log exposed and signed without the passing muggles suspecting anything. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache Kryslazz.

At 3 separate times I have collected various Robot Charli caches, but only now getting around to logging them.

This is certainly a terrific series to do.

Thank you kryslazz for designing and placing this series for our enjoyment.

Catching up with late logs

We really enjoyed working our way through these puzzles, some of them were exceptionally clever and we've had the corrected co ordinates for quite awhile and today we were finally going to head down and try our luck with Alansee and Micaparamedic. Fortunately Alansee mentioned there had to be a few changes to allow for the shifted caches and we were able to sort this out on the drive down.

We found all that we searched for except for the Great Race and with parking at a premium in some places we were happy that we were only in one car today and as the cache pages say some of the caches require a bit of walking after parking the car.

To save rooms with the smaller logs we used the acronym MATC.

Unfortunately picking up other caches as we went today we didn't find them all so we will have to return another day to do that.

Thanks kryslazz for an enjoyable series.

Found with Team Crackers and Micaparamedic today. Team Crackers are Simpson's fans.

I haven't finished with the series from last year so decide to come here again to catch up. Very warm day today. Puzzle solved. Found it. Thanks kryslazz for placing the Robot Charli series.

With the Mega now over it was time for one of the FurfacesLL team to return home for work and the other one to soldier on with Rapidlywild. Also visiting friends around the area on the down days when RW was busy.

Well a clear day for a change so we went to collect the Robot Charli series. Can't take any credit on these RW did all the hard work solving these as we were actually off traveling overseas trying to solve their puzzles. So today we rewarded her extra gray hairs with smileys.

Thanks for the hide and puzzle and bringing them back to life kryslazz and thanks to Rapidlywild for the company and caching adventure.

Sorry for the generic logs.

21-Nov-18
The Mega had been and gone however myself and FFLL#1 were staying on for another week with some other commitments. I had a charity Gala dinner to attend to on the Saturday following the Mega so it only made sense to stay on in Victoria. We were staying out Gippsland way so we had targeted Robot Charli and a couple other series to do, however the weather decided to go against us and we did not get all that were planned. It doesnt matter, we still got a fair few done in the time we were here. Once it was time to start heading home, we went via Albury to pick up some more puzzles of which we had solved.

Well it was time to get out and clean up Robot Charli. I was one of the early solvers of this series, I earnt myself MANY grey hairs solving this guy and I was super upset when he got archived.... But he was resurrected, and in time for us to come collect him!!! The puzzles ranged from easy to super hard, truely was a series for all the puzzle solvers! Apologies for the generic logs, its been a massive week with the Mega (bike riding and lots of walking) and then this series soon after, the legs were feeling it thats for sure.

Thanks for the cache hide kryslazz and the ladies of FurfacesLL for another great caching adventure away from home Big Grin

It was great to see Robot Charlie come back on line and give us the opportunity to go out to search the final locations.
With Roostaman arriving from places afar to the area on his way to the Parkville Mega, it was time to team up once gain with RebelActs for an attempt on the series and some of the caches we had still not found in Moe. Today we were also joined by KI Bug in the hunt so a fun-filled day was definitely in store!
Credit to Rebel who was the key to the puzzle solving and had put in many hours over quite some time to finally achieve success to unlock the series.
A plan was hatched to meet and head out. We came across a variety of hides with some interesting twists in widely differing locations. Some easily accessed and others more challenging.
There was much by-play throughout the day, mostly seeming to centre round ‘organization’ and the need for GSAK, despite the fact it won’t run on IOS! There were caches missing logs, only to find the log-overlooked within the cache! We discovered ‘Emergendy logs!!!’, a new terminology that was embraced and will be a common thread in conversation from now on! The biggest disagreement was over the lunch venue, with Rebel detailing the pluses and minuses of McDonalds over Hungry Jacks!
All in all, a great day out touring the local area with much fun had by all.
Thank you for the series Kryslazz.

15-Nov-18
I was asked if I would like to join some mad “oldies” (a cheeky farmer’s description of us on the day!) on a day’s geocaching in the Moe area, mainly focusing on the Robot Charlie series. Having not been in fine geocaching form over recent months I was a little concerned that my physical participation may have been limited however I jumped at the chance. Consequently Mr K.I. bug joined an amazing outing with Mr SkiPair, RoostaMan and Rebel Acts. It was a day full of friendly barbs and jokes and a great example of how much fun can be had geocaching with great company.
Thanks must go to the other members of the “team” who completed a lot of “solving” and organized the adventure.
We hit the ground running (well sort of!) and successfully found a cache every few minutes in a combined effort. We went at a fast pace, not stopping until late lunch time and I must admit that on occasions I was the “provider of the pen” rather the member who scaled the cliff or whatever else was required however I was very pleased with my effort on the day. Consequently it looks like more geocaching will be coming up!
Although there were a good variety of hides with some requiring a walk, all were generally found quite quickly. What else, with such an experienced team! We did have to provide a couple of “emergency logs” where they had disappeared.

Another good cache found with geo-friends - a really fun day. Thanks for another kryslazz,

My good Mate Roostaman was down from Wagga Wagga for the Mega and staying at My place, A plan was hatched to meet up with Ski Pair and KI Bug and do the Robot Charli series and a few other caches in the Moe area. With Robot Charli almost self destructing I was keen to get them found after spending so many hours working on it. Thanks kryslazz for the cache.

I set off early in the morning to spend the day collecting 36 of the Robot Charli puzzle caches that I have solved to-date. I was devastated when the CO had to archive them all however it is a testament to her resolve that she has revived them.

The puzzle was solved quickly as it is a topic that I am very familiar with. This was more of a PnG as I had a good idea of what to look for and where to find it. TFTC.

Cache ready to go. Please note GZ has been moved. Solve and enter puzzle co-ords in Geochecker to reveal new GZ.

So I think we had the right co-ords for the last one - not sure about this one. We were in the street with all of the cameras and we couldn't find the cache. I may have stuffed us up here but it's a DNF for us.

I was out today with Biggles Bear to concentrate on finding as many as we could of the Robot Charli caches that we had solutions for. With the new co-ordinates we were able to find this one reasonably quickly.

My thanks for the cache, kryslazz.

Found 3:57:00 PM, during our June Caching day out with Muzza.

TNLN, thanks kryslazz (F=1021 H=52).

Down this way for a spot of R&R, I thought I'd try and knock a few more off Charli's head before continuing on. Unfortunately, the rain would put paid to the activities before long but for the time being, it was still dry for this first one so we were off and running.

This one was a serious case of overthinking and it wasn't until I 'dumbed myself down' that I eventually had a set off coordinates that the geochecker soon corrected. (I'm actually not sure how the locals can claim the roads as their own but there you have it. Surprised) Once at the corrrect height at GZ, it was a nice quick find at 15:20 and we were on our way.

TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks kryslazz.

Found by Mary & David at 1319. Feeling much more spirited after lunch. Discovered Zeally's Bakery cafe. Had just ordered when a woman approached and asked if we came here often. It was another RN from Werribee, who alternated night shifts with Mary. Often run into her at our local shopping centre, but meeting here was so funny. She was here to watch her grandchildren play basketball. Loved the Bakery mural in the side street. Back at GZ, it's a pity the locals don't like visitors. We don't follow this 'family' but our children are experts. Our thanks to kryslazz.

Unfortunately, Charli did not make friends with the locals at the original GZ. A new GZ, nowhere near the to the original has been created.

Puzzle has not changed and is still the original, but please DO NOT GO THERE. Enter solved co-ords into Geo Checker. Once you get the tick, look out for the new GZ Co-ords.

Sorry for the inconvenience guys. Happy hunting

Road Trip day with MrsPapi4506 & 4B Ninjas. We were soon joined by jascat to make it a true girls day out.
Had to do some research here, as I’m not as familiar with this show as others.
Cheers kryslazz

Out for the day to get my number count closer to the 1000 which also coincided with The Hidden Creatures souvenirs . With the car packed with great people and the traditional container of traveller lollies and a great weathered day, we had a very interesting day hunting for Charli.

Found with OzHockeyChick, 4bninjas and Papi4506 after the Robot Charlie workshop. Picking up a few solved puzzles and unfortunately not everyone was happy about that. I did enjoy solving this puzzle as the family are quite the fan of the Simpsons.

Thanks to kryslazz for placing this cache

Having solved most of these puzzles over the last few weeks with mummy short legs today my family decided it needed a road trip to break up the day despite the cold windy weather. So, loaded up with an audiobook or two for the kids to listen to, we hit the road. This puzzle was a fun one. At last my teenage TV habits are coming in handy (much to my mother's disgust no doubt!). The find was nice and straight forward, an in your face camo. Geohubby and number 2 child got out to stretch at this point and wandered back down the road to meet me at the next one. A good day for it in the end. TFTC kryslazz.

When Robot Charli first awoke we set off on solving the lot. Many hours were spent solving some fun and interesting puzzles. Many we had no idea where to start initially. We had planned to jump on the bikes and locate so we wanted to try and solve the lot before heading out, however with the good weather soon to run out we took the opportunity to head out in the car and pick up a few up.

It pays to know your characters as one wrong, will of course not give you the green tick. Looking in the wrong spots at first and J1 walks up and says there it is. A quick find for some of the team.

Thanks for the effort you have put into these Kryslazz. Lots of fantastic puzzles and caches in this series.

It would have been a bit easier for me to solve this puzzle if I had remembered that there are 26 letters in the alphabet not 36 - Doh!

Got to the gz and was wondering where the cache would be hidden and thinking that this might be hard when following the GPS it took me directly to the cache. Perfect coordinates certainly helped find this well hidden container, that obly a cacher will find

Thanks for the cache Krys Lazz
