With the last 2 online logs not really recent and the log previous to that a DNF I wasn't 100% hopeful. After more than 20 minutes scratching around I have to say it's a DNF from me too.
A fun little fine spending an autumn afternoon playing in the dappled sunlight.
Found after a day out caching and bushwalking with Dan from SueDan83, who has previously found this one.Walked carefully up the steep slope then down a bit to GZ.After a bit of a look around spotted what was described in the hint.SL TFTC
*In the area with woolwood9 heading to the MEGA Event.* We cached from Sydney to Canberra, then after the MEGA, up through Yass, Cowra and Bathurst to return to Sydney. We had a great 3 weeks and enjoyed finding many good caches. SL *tm/ww NZ**Thank you for putting this cache out for us to visit*
Over in Canberra to attend the Easter Mega with tmann421Tons of caches done while here and this was one of them.Enjoyed the touring around and all the containers foundLog signed tm/ww NZThanks for the placement and the effort put into maintaining these hides for us to find.
We thought at first this might have been covered up by some tarpaulins here, which look like they have been part of a cubby house built out of branches in the recent past, but GZ was just a little bit further away. No troubles navigating the hill and cache is still in excellent condition. Hadnt made it to this park before so thank you very much for bringing us here!
Another quick and easy find. Although the gravel was trickier getting down than up. Going backwards works a treat. TFTC. Nice to be taken to this cute little park
Needed this caches D/T to fill in my Fizzy Grid and I definitely agree about the terrain rating! A little slipping and sliding for me but not nearly as much as it could have been if it had been raining recently!Found the brick that wasnt it, then climbed up the top because my GPS was confused before clambering back down to the proper terracotta hiding the cache Signed the log and replaced as found, then climbed up the top and through the fence back to the car so I didnt have to slide down and scrape myself up TFTC!
Been waiting for a whole to find the park without anyone here. Today was the day!! TFTC

A weekend trip to Batemans Bay, Wollongong, Sydney and back to Canberra to attend events in LGAs I haven't attended an event in before to qualify for a challenge cache in Canberra that requires attending events in 25 different Australian LGAs. Before this morning's event, I focused on specific caches in the Sutherland Shire to qualify for some of the local challenges. This one took longer than it should have to locate. Pleased I found it and didn't give up. TFTC.

We parked on the road and followed the instructions into the park. What a beautiful, hidden gem! Everything around us was wet and green, but the rain had almost stopped. As we made our way up to GZ, we felt the rain coming off the leaves of the trees as we gripped onto the branches.

found today while out with the kids after doing some maintenance on one of my caches thanks
Found while hiking from Heathcote to Loftus today. Slipped twice on the return from this one! Hard to navigate the terrain on this one, especially after rain. TFTC!
Muggle65 and l are on our way to Rutherglen. We have a few caches to collect on the way. As always our list is long and our time is short. Thank you for the fun
Slip and slide and mud! Oh boy this should have a higher terrain rating. Much comedy ensued as we watched geodad try to find safe footing. Definitely need to go above to come back down to GZ. TFTC
A quickish P&G after an enjoyable day bushwalking with Swampcreature, down the Bottle Forest Track to the very scenic Kangaroo Creek. TFTC
Found with 1stConcordVL after a walk to Kangaroo Creek. Once the phone settled and led us to the right place it was an easy find.
In the area caching with oldmorty.
He’d found this cache in May 2018 and suggested I head up the “well defined geopath” and go find the cache.
I have a suspicion it was not the path suggested by the CO.
I found myself stuck halfway up a very slippery steep slope and was not able to get a purchase on anything. I hung there for a while wondering what to do when I spotted a tree root and grabbed it hoping it would hold. I worked my way across to the right and climbed upwards as best I could.
I then made my way towards the left of where I was to a point above GZ. I descended towards GZ looking for something terracotta. There it was. Cache found. Now for the descent.

Found this one this morning as my warmup cache. Didn’t have much trouble getting up to it but coming down safely took a while. Funny little reserve here TFTC
Found It!
Nice park. After climbing up the hill, I soon spotted the cache!

A quick find. First for the day, on the way down to the coal coast TFTC mattf428
We found it after sliding down the steep hill many times with cuts and scratches and we found it though!
OCW the Bebes. Quite a steep slope but quickly spotted the hide and signed. Tftc

A very nice park and bushland in the middle of this suburb.
Yes, it was a short and sharp slope. Then across to a brick that wasn't it. A bit more of a scramble whilst on that slope and there it was. Good coords. The walk back down was a lot worse for these old knees. TFTC

Replaced the container and log. Didn't have a ziplock bag with me so hopefully stays dry for a while until I bring one out. Still in the same spot. Collected geotrash of the previous container on the way out.

Decided to head south this afternoon for today's finds. Thought I'd go for the three hides around Garrawarra Centre / Hospital. And one or two more en route...
Ended up getting all of the five I attempted.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Parked at the suggested spot and wondered to myself why not get closer and straight line it. Kept thinking that as I walked along the bottom of a steep slope towards GZ.
That really is steep! Could feel my feet sliding once of twice as I made my way up to GZ.
Of course I checked the wrong spot first, but soon moved to the right one and spotted the hide under its camo.
Poured some water from the container, and the log is quite sodden. And there was plenty of condensation inside the lid as well.
Signed the log as best I could and replaced.
Then decided to straight line it up to the top and through the fence.
And away to my next target.

Returning from a trip down to the south coast with Mighty Minions and BillHill531, we stopped off in Heathcote for me to grab a late lunch then headed around to Sesquicentenary Park to eat under a shady tree. Once replenished, we headed off in search of the cache and soon made the find. The log is a bit damp but still signable.
Many thanks for the hide.
Many thanks for the hide.
Found on a nice summer's day with The_Mighty Minions, BareFootJeff and Team Novo , with temperatures in the mid 40s. We all came down from Newcastle/Central Coast to get a mob together and find the next clue. heading back but still neede to let Jeff have his late lunch. then made it to GZ. Log signed and caches replaced as found. Thanks For The Cache mattf428

Found after having in the park nearby. Thanks for the cache tnln replaced as found sl
After finishing a walk in the park we detoured for this cache in between trains. What a neat hidden park! Thanks for the cache!
Im on my way down to Waterfall for the day and thought I’d stop off and grab a cache on my way.
At first i drove too far along Bottle Forest Rd before turning around and stopping at the entrance to the park.
Thanks to my GPSr spinning around i was led to a spot a little distance away from the GZ at first but it didnt take long for me to correct the error and find the hiding place.
I grabbed the TB and will take it for a ride.
Thanks.

Just a quick find on my way down to uni, luckily the wind died down a bit. It's a long way down!!
Nice one! Got plenty of up and down hill exercise as the gps kept adjusting.
Came with two of my young cachers. Cool spot- thanks

My GPS had me up closer to the road and I spooked a rabbit as I came up the hill and it took of running. While I was standing waiting for the GPS to work properly, some police drove past in a wagon. I heard them turn around and knew they were going to get out and come and see why I was in the bushes. I explained I was geocaching and of course none of them had heard of it. So I had to explain how it all worked and show them pictures of geocaches. Apparently someone was seen in the nearby high school and they were checking it wasn't me. They seemed happy with my explanation and they were on their way. TFTC.
Spent the morning cycle-caching the Sutherland Shire FTF Hounds power-trail.
Noticed a couple of caches on the way home, so paid a visit.
This cache became the 20th find of 21 for the day.
- - -
There were a bunch of muggles within eye-shot of the 'most direct route' up to the cache. So I doubled-back to the entrance and took the 'high road'. Not something I'd try in the rain - the area around GZ is plenty slippery even when dry!

Bought a logbook down, but it was too big for the container. Left some fresh paper in there and will work on a bigger container and log and zip lock bag before the next rains.
Thanks for reporting the damp log mrwhiskers76. I will drop by to replace in the next few days.
Thought I would pick up this one as I was in the area, I climbed the slope and found the cache easy enough, however the cache had some water inside, and the log was very mouldy and wet, I tried to sign the log but the paper was just ripping, I’m happy to come back and sign the log if it gets replaced sometime In the future
Thought I’d be smart and cut a longer walk of 120m from the parking co-ords down to less than 30m by approaching from the top (find access point next to the chickens). At least I spotted GZ quickly from this angle and in the end, the 3* slope would have to be conquered no matter which direction I’d come. Log signed, going back up actually felt less precarious but it was the heat and humidity that really took it out of me as I struggled back the car and air-conditioning.
Every time I've passed this way since this one was placed I've had a car full of tired and cranky kids. Today I had Brewmaker in the car, who was merely tired, and being of good humour was glad to detour for me to pick this one up.

The hint was ever so helpful. Got a few weird looks from nearby families during the climb. Accurate coordinates once the GPS locked in. Thanks.
Having bee away for 5-6 weeks, it was time to catch up on a few local caches. Slip sliding away.

A quick find as i headed home after a day of meetings in Sydney. Reading the logs and the approach ppl took I was wondering what I'd find at GZ. Alas it was nice n easy as I came down from the top.
Thanks
Thanks
Found this one while GeoDirk and HanorahTLG were on the Scouts weekend at camp Coutts. TFTC .
After taking a snap of the trig in the water tower, I took a stroll along the path into the park. But then I realised that some hill scaling would be required - probably best to have both hands free before I start. Made it up the hard way and then saw what the hint referred to. Dropped in a TB and made it back down without falling on my backside. Thanks mattf428.
Back to the Shire today to grad a few caches for the SSCC cache. After parking in the street opposite GZ I looked over the fence and decided it would be easier to walk up the slope rather than down it and entered the park at its entrance. Walking along the path and following the generous hint it was soon CIH. The geotrail which is covered in gravel and loose leaves makes for an interesting little climb. TFTC mattf428.
Found with sesblocker.
We approached this from the top and made a very careful descent to GZ.
Coords are very good.

Thinking I had cleared The Shire of trads, I was surprised to see this green circle on my map. Then realised it had been published while I was OS. Off we go!
So a short stroll from the parking spot, up the slippery slope and then I happened to walk straight past it as I struggled not to slide back down to the bottom! Then I saw the hint and it was CIH.
Thanks for bringing me to another hidden park and TFTC.

A pretty quick find on the way homewads today. I approached ftom the topside and although it looked like it was just going to drop off it wasn't too bad and the cache was soon spotted. TFTC

a nice grab on my way to work, and a big thanks to the CO for not only the next evil hide of mine, but also the prompt to log... (Oops) hahaha

FTF with Rainbow Spirit. Was using my phone so it took me a while. As I was approaching GZ I bumped into RS. The terrain is slippery take care. I can remember when this park and surrounding villa complex was part of Punchbowl Brick and Pipe works quarry (hence the slippery shale). Now a nice sized park. Took Usain signed log and did the bolt. TFTC matt428.
