It has gone. It has had a good life, but it is a very high muggle activity area, and I will not replace.
This weekend my walk was on Saturday for work reasons. I joined Joolay, Smitten Granny, Barb2e and Kitty Katch for a walk at the western end of Coolemon Ridge to finish the caches remaining up there. As usual, plenty of ups and downs to get from one cache to the next, the tracks are only generally available. A nice outlook from the trig by the final cache on the hill, before retiring for a coffee at the nearby shops.
On the way home I decided to stop here. Still very quiet, so after a quick peer and reach, I had this one in hand for signing.
Thanks for the cache charlotteleclerc

I was in the area today to pick up a friend, and was running early. I grabbed two caches while here. The semi early morning (pre 8:30) and some light rain took care of the majority of the muggles for me. There was one I had to be careful of at the cafe across the road, but hopefully I managed to replace without drawing suspicion. The colour match was done very well, nice one charlotteleclerc!
Great hide and camo!! Was hard to find with all the muggles around but patience proved key today. Tftc
Again no luck. Not the best of caches considering how many strange looks you get from people.
Last cache for the night, and with some help from gliss and Nibletricecakes I managed to find and sign the log. Thank you
Found after doing some ALs in Campbell/Reid. Decided we should actually ‘find’ a cache today! Thanks for the hide charlotteleclerc!
Out for a spot of caching. Found this one a little tricky to hunt for as my body still protests when I ask it to twist or bend or stretch lol. Regardless, still managed to make the find on the sneaky little thing. Thanks for the cache.
Quickly spotted with nibletricecakes. Nicely camo'd. There was no paper so we did some maintenance. TFTC
Up at 'em early with AngelG27 and Fox In Jox to target a selection of higher D/T combos and a couple of others along the way. A great morning out challenging our tree climbing, teamwork and searching skills!
FIJ needed a coffee so as we waited in the car I hopped out and made the find of the little bugger at a deserted GZ. Blends in very well!
Thanks for the hide, charlotteleclerc

Out and about for a morning mission with AngelG27 and SpecimenX.

That took a bit of looking. I had to pick my times because there were muggles about. Might've been easier after 7:30, but I was visiting the area during the arvo on other business. Usually I come to this area to meet others for car pooling, but today it was something totally different. Glad to make the find.

Checked to ensure that the cache is still there... the cache is still there
GZ once again available. The surrounds have been planted up as part of this year's distributed Floriade display. Will look a treat come springtime.
Have been coming here for years but only just learned there was a cache here. Could see it but not sign as temporary fencing is up. Thanks.
GZ is currently fenced off due to landscaping works. Will re enable when completed
The cache has been muggled! I am surprised it has lasted over 18 months in such a high muggle activity area. I will see about a replacement
Not sure if I'm just blind - and the GPS was all over the shop here today - but I had went past the point of searching surreptitiously here, and right into suspicious peering underneath things (fortunately no one in the park) but no luck. Might need to confirm it's still there. I'll wait to see if someone else finds it.
We saw the obvious spot and sure enough, a bit of observation revealed this nice little cache. Nice camo job. TFTC
A few days caching in the ACT and surrounds with Steeba and The Rats, another trip away like countless others that we have done before. We got the dates, we did the planning, we worked out a route. But there was one thing that we could not plan for; the weather.
The caches were excellent. The company faultless. The weather; atrocious. High winds, cold, sleet, rain, mush, icy, snow, we had it all! But we endured, and had a fantastic time regardless. Did I mention that it was cold? Bone chillingly cold. I am not sure my fingers have as yet recovered! Some roads were even closed due to snow, curtailing our route and resulting in some last-minute changes.
Please forgive the boiler-plate log, I assure you it is no reflection on the caching experience of our few days away. Thank you to all cache owners for their hides.
Cheers

Headed out for a caching run with steeba and Hoojar that had a bit of everything. These caching runs are planned months in advance and to-date have been perfect. This trip was no different – except for the influence of the WEATHER. A weekend in the Canberra hills that had howling winds, driving rain, sleet, hail, snow, frozen body parts slippery icy tracks, closed roads and temps that never got higher than 6 deg by day and were subzero all night, but alas we had a great boys weekend caching.
Apologises for the generic log but it doesn’t detract from the caching fun, except for the WEATHER which played a major part in our weekend. Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides.

A very chilly couple of days in and around the ACT with The Rats and Hoojar- most of the time the temperature didn't peak above 4 degrees! Amongst the sleet, rain, wind and cold however we made plenty of finds on mainly a number of power trails. TFTC!
Simple find. First one for austpark using his phone. Now how to log a visit by trackable
TFTC.

Heading out for a suburb cache with allrounder in the nicer weather. After finding a few in the Waramanga and Weston area we stopped here to make the find. Having to be subtle due to muggles in area it was still easy enough to grab.
Number 14 for the day.

Found @ 2:49pm with hccatcher11415
We had just taken a seat when a voice siad "you're very close". We had a chuckle then continued our search. hccatcher eventually spotted it from a different angle and I made the retrieval.
As we were filling in the log, the mystery voice came over and introduced himself - nice to meet you cachingACT!
Thanks again charlotteleclerc
This was the 9th of 10 caches found today

Quick find, nice cache, all in good order.
Thank you charlotteleclerc for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Found before an interview.
No shoelaces today so I had to go for the phone between my legs technique to figure out where exactly the cache was. TFTC

Geo-mirror to the aid. I tried to return the cache surreptitiously - clatter, clatter - the magnet is weak and it clattered down to the ground. Not what I meant surreptitiously to be . Reattached it, but it could do with a stronger magnet. Then off for coffee . TFTC charlotteleclerc.
Despite it being a busy Saturday afternoon at the shopping centre, Trenerry Square was almost deserted. A quick find at GZ.
Just about to go to indoor cricket, picked up a few caches around the area. TFTC
We were not alone at GZ so I tried my best to be super-subtle while trying to feel around for this one. Unfortunately it would appear I am not so good at subtle and was asked almost immediately “what are you doing?”
“Ummm...” Was the best panicked response I could get out when put on the spot.
“Are you geocaching, or buying drugs?”
“Ahhhhh.......geocaching”. Thought it best to fess up after being given those multiple choice responses.
TFTC and I’m pretty sure all will still be good after we left!

This one was much easier after finding one of the other caches in the area. Nice spot to unwind for a while before the shopping frenzy.
Found it after a bit of feeling around some poles and finally looking a bit lower
Found while on a trip away with tmann421, heading to the MEGA in Canberra

Suscoe and the sister headed to Weston to collect some Indian takeaway.
What a good decision.
Top food and a nice little cache find to go with it.
Very quiet at GZ for a moment and we grabbed the cache, sign and popped it back.
Thanks to Charlotteleclerc.

A few quick finds this morning as I got up an hour earlier then planned. Still dark so a torch was needed, but that made the finds easier I think.

Feel like these seats nees a little more shade. Suprised these seats dont get tather hot in the sun. Tftc
Had some time for a catch up with Takibi today so we took in some light urban caching. Having wandered through the shopping centre made the second find nice and quick.
Found with Coybear2000. We were on our way to visit a friend and we decided to stop and try for this one. We arrived at GZ and had a pretty good idea as to where the hide would be. We sat down and C almost immediately had CIH. Log signed and all replaced and we continued on our way. TFTC.
In the area to visit a friend with Trodectus, so thought we would grab this one before the visit. Walked to GZ and as we were approaching, has a fair idea where the hide was. Once at GZ quickly had CIH. Log signed and returned. TFTC

Another fine afternoon to grab a few caches in Weston Creek. Bobl27 came with me for the drive, and a lovely little drive it was. I was wearing good sandals, which was not the best choice for caching, but they both survived. I even got sticks in my hair - that is a proper caching mission! All caches found in accordance with the hint, and most in good order. It is always a better day with a cache.
This cache: first one for the afternoon and one I had been muggled out of previously. Today for some reason, the coast was clear and I was able to scout the location without interference. The cache was too well camouflaged as it took a couple of looks to spot it!
Thanks charlotteleclerc for the cache and the fun!

Found with AngelG27 on a lovely sunny afternoon. She did most of the finding, and I did all of the driving. TFTC:)
After waiti g fir the muggles near me to mi e on I was able to retrieve the cache and sign it. However replaci g it wasn't quite as easy, but I got there in the end. TFTC
Awesome cache, liked the colour scheme. We were just heading out to do some shopping and we checked geocache and found this one 35m away. Thanks!
Quick find on a cool evening on the way to MY's for dinner. Another clever hide. Thanks.
It's a very bright park after the refurb. Sat down, quick find & log & then off again in a couple of minutes. TFTC!
Nice and easy. Seat was free and it was an easy grab without bringing any attention to myself.
Thanks,
Thanks,
My second closest to home, so while in the area this time decided to make the grab. Have walked past many many many times and thought to myself that I should find it. With a renewed interest, it's good to have this one crossed off.
Thanks charlotteleclerc…….liked the camo...

Still had to quickly roll down for a look and then saw it in your well camo-ed style. Tftc.
