Arriving at the lane in which this mystery cache is set, I reminisced a little about all the times I'd explored the little streets of St Leonards in my childhood. After all, it's an interesting mix of residential, industrial, office, and commercial space. This lane was no exception and I admired the wide variety of street art on display. Some of the answers were a bit hard to be certain about, but I managed to get the right coords in the end.Arriving at GZ, I soon spotted a common cache MO for this CO and soon had CIH. TFTC!
Really enjoyed completing this one several months ago when it was warmer. Back in the area today with the boys to scout out a fancy new playground. 7yo made the find! Unfortunately moisture has creeped into the log, we managed to dry slightly and make our mark. Also DMd the CO. Thanks for the fun adventure AussiePam #2870
tftc!! needed a little help from CO as i could not get my numbers quite right but with some clarification it was a nice easy find!
A very enjoyable puzzle. Thanks for putting the time into making this one Had a few issues but it all came down to not reading the puzzle properly *sigh*At GZ, very busy and took a while to get to the right angle to see the camo. Then waited 5 mins for all the cars to pass. And waited another 5 mins for a quiet spot to return it.TFTC!
I’m visiting from Brisbane spending a few days geocaching. This one took longer than it should have as I found a few poems and couldn’t find where the artist was born but eventually got there. I enjoyed the artwork especially discovering Australia’s Banksy. At gz, it was very busy but eventually managed to retrieve the cache. Tftc
Awesome murals! Big fan of the artist depicted;) a cool urban camo! Enjoyed this one TFTC!
Thanks for this cache, and for bringing me to these artworks. I used to come here a lot and it's great to see something happening to the office buildings and the ballet school.
Had a bit of trouble finding A, wasn't sure which poem was meant. Trial and error got me the correct coordinates.
Once I got to GZ cache leaped out at me, I really liked this kind of urban hide, although with many muggles it requires sneakiness.

I visited this laneway yesterday while waiting for my snuggle muggle to emerge from a procedure at RNSH but, for the life of me, I couldn't spot the poem between 2 garages.
Back at home last night, however, I was able to work out some likely coords for GZ and was pleased when the checker approved of what I'd come up with.
So after visiting my wife this morning, I wandered over to GZ and there I made a straightforward find.
Thanks for bringing me to this obscure laneway AussiePam and more particularly for showing me Fintan's work ... it's really good!

Visited the laneway two days ago while in the area, collecting answers to all but G (which required some research), and headed off to determine the solution for a return another day. As my stay in Sydney was extended longer than initially planned, that “another day” became today with a GZ we’d driven by on Saturday, the first target on this morning’s agenda. If I’d known then, the evening traffic would have been less than a sunny workday. Lucky I quickly spotted a familiar and favourite piece of camo to make my mark.
I have been at our head office this week at St Leonards. I looked to see if there were any caches nearby and this one caught my interest. I had no idea this art work existed. OMG I spent way too long looking for the cache. Head slap moment when the cammo finally caught my eye. Thanks for an interesting cache!
While on a mission to clear out the AP colour caches, I still had this field puzzle to do. A detour and a free parking spot on a Saturday had me making the journey to grab the info.
Then off to GZ for a quick find. But log was soaked after all the rain, so I managed to dry it out a bit. But it does need some TLC.
Thanks for bringing me here. TFTC

It is always debatable whether this is a puzzle cache or a multicache. As I solved this one at home, it could qualify as a puzzle cache, but as the answers can also be found at the suggested waypoints, it would also be a multi cache.
Enough philisophising and rambling...arriving at GZ it took a bit of searching before the camo was spotted. Retrieval and replacement was carefully timed with the traffic so not to attract any unnecessary attention.

Found with patwuzhear - after a dinner nearby had some time to burn and so grabbed the clues quickly. Geochecker kept saying no, but realised we missed some of the "multiply by" notes for the letters
That resolved, GZ wa calculated and cache found quickly. Unfortunately realised we were ill equipped with no pen - so going to have to pull a Discobob3 here and come back next time I'm in the area to sign. In rhe interim, photo of log and description of find can be presented to CO.
Thanks for the walk - never knew this street art existed (learning something new seems to be a recurrent theme of these mysteries and multis).

Rain cleared enough to provide for a sunny walk around the high rise areas to collect a few solved puzzles.
After a short stroll found the log in good condition at an appropriate spot.
Thanks Aussie Pam!

Lived in the area for years and never looked closely at this street art so was good to come by this puzzle to appreciate more. TFTC. Forgot my pen to sign. Not an easy one to sign by the least!
Yessss finally found this one! Did another one recently that was the same type so came back and instantly saw it! I absolutely love this type and want to do my own sometime!

#7748 (1 of 5 today)
Second of four consecutive calendar day find days. So headed out early afternoon to grab a few.
Decided I'd head to North Sydney, where I haven't grabbed any caches for a while. Unfortunately one solved puzzle is out of action, but I did manage to avenge a previous DNF as well as collecting one multi and a puzzle.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
I'd done my homework for this one ages ago, so decided to head here first today and finally capitalize of my hours and hours...erm minutes of research.
Managed to find a free parking spot in the target lane, and then walked - well I'd say uphill rather than "down" - to the murals.
Quickly got some numbers and put it through the checker. Bzzzzzzzz!
OK, what have I done wrong? Rechecked my numbers - oops forgot that adjustment.
Checker now says... Bzzzzzzz!
Really?
Looked closely and decided which number was out and why. Ah. Let's try THAT number. Bzzzzz. Oh, come on!
While I didn't think it really fit the question, I tried something else.
Ding!
Finally!!
So, off to GZ and not there. Or there... What am I missing? Or is it missing?
Second go around I spotted it. Phew.
Made the grab - not hard with muggle numbers down on the public holiday - and took a short distance to complete signing duties.
Then back for the replace and away to Blues Point.
And as a bonus this find finished my *Wonders of the Solar System*. HUZZAH!
Can I say I really liked the bird mural, that the gray man is watching.

Apologies for taking a while to check this hide. The buildings of Atchison Lane are intact - as are the art works referenced.
I did however discover an interesting new item, and have made a small change to honour that.
Good to go.

#111. A slight error in my solution slowed me down a little but CIH after a relatively short time. TFTC. Am in this area regularly and didn't know about this art.
Ahh the muggle struggle....
But, incredible street art! Definitely surprised to find it here

Awesome hide and cache. Seen heaps of these before but not what I expected as I was looking for something totally different. Cache and logbook are dry are dry. Sneaky hide. Found with Chippyddd and BennyDaMole. TFTH TFTC Cache replaced as found ready for the next adventurer.
Found ICW Bennidamole and Mystic Seer.
TFTC AussiePam, well done SL.
Sneaky hide, but not so sneaky sneaky for geobunny stature. Great spot. Cheers.

Well hidden cache! Definately not what I thought it was going to be. Amazing art which I would have never known existed. Great find with Chippyddd and Mystic Seer.
In view of the easing of some Covid-19 movement restrictions, I'm re-enabling this geocache.
We have, however, been asked to continue vigilance, social distancing and sensible hygiene practices.
We have, however, been asked to continue vigilance, social distancing and sensible hygiene practices.
To help stop the spread of Covid-19, The Australian and NSW Governments require all of us to stay at home unless we are: shopping for essentials, receiving medical care, exercising or travelling to work or education.
Many of us have continued hunting geocaches – justifying this as exercise – and telling ourselves we're doing it responsibly by avoiding high urban traffic areas, practicing social distancing and hygiene etc. Some others are possibly less careful.
As a Cache Owner, I feel duty bound to follow the lead of wiser heads (wise guys?) and lessen the temptation to break curfew, so to speak. To that end, I'm now temporarily disabling all my hides. Please don't try to log them.
Hopefully, if we all do our bit for our collective well-being, our community will make it through this difficult time.
Let's stay home and work on solving some of the pesky puzzles we've been avoiding tackling. Or maybe get creative with ideas for future hides. And of course we can still geo-chat on social media.
Be safe – and keep smiling!

What an interesting cache. After walking the main streets of Crows Nest and St Leonards, this was a surprise find. Didn’t know these murals existed. Found and logged. Thanks for the new experience
#1704 First of two local mysteries this morning. Started this yesterday afternoon and eventually located the murals and retrieved all the required information and proceeded to GZ. Got to GZ but it was muggle central so after a brief look around came up short and couldn’t work out what ELOP stands for. Came back this morning with fresh eyes and eventually spotted the hide. Thanks for a great cache and for showing me the beauty of my local laneways.
couldn't figure out what ELOP meant but my geoassistant solved the mystery CTFT
Wow. Loved the street art. Worked out the clues pretty easily but finding the cache at the GZ was hard! Glad I had my son with me to work out what ELOP meant!
Got to listed coordinates but couldn’t find any murals. A quick call to a friend led to to correct starting point 130m away. Collected the numbers needed and had the right cords for final. Short search and had CIH. Went across the street to the park for signing and a little rest. Cache 1056 TFTC
Found all the info to solve this a few days ago, and finally got it tonight.
I struggled at the GZ and the hint didn’t really help me.
Eventually I noticed a familiar type of hide, and had the CIH.
Cool artwork all through the alley.

Parked in Atchinson Street where we via Hume Lane got to Atchinson Lane which we followed up. Found the mural paintings and other decorations required for the calculation. When googling on the birth placed of the artist, we got an answer which did not match any of the given alternatives, but by trying the numbers one by one we got a solution which was accepted by the Geochecker. Continued the lane to GZ, where the cache was found after some searching. GPS signal is not at its best between all the high rises. Still do not know what ELOP stands for.
Made a bit of a hash of this to get started, but once I headed up the lane things became clearer. That said some of the clues are a little tricky unless you move on.
Some great and fascinating street art, hidden away in the back streets of St Leonards.
Once I had the data the find was easy on a Sunday afternoon. Would not be so easy on s weekday

Walked over to WP1 from Woolies on a hot Saturday afternoon. Walked, er, up Atchison Lane and enjoyed the wall decor. Even had some young ballerinas walk by as I was collecting information. Made my way to GZ which was very quiet. I was glad I wasn’t here on a weekday. Fun cache. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
A really nice multi style puzzle in which I enjoyed again upping my steps. Not one for street art but now checking the effort one would have spent on the pieces, it definitely deters others from adding their signature art scribble to the walls.
Thanks AussiePam for showing me the area.
Thanks AussiePam for showing me the area.
Had this one solved and ready to go, kept it back for a streak saver, just in case! I realised I needed to fill a calendar day today, so just as an epic storm was brewing and rolling into the city, I grabbed the bike double speed and cycled to grab this one and it's neighbour. Managed to get them both and back into the house before the storm and rains hit! Woop!
Well that was a cool little urban adventure. I lived near here for a year or two and never ventured down that lane...the Gilroy usually distracted my attention A suitable hide for the location but tricky to grab and replace! Used the bike as camo. Cheers!
A lunchtime get together to pass the baton to the new GCNSW folk had me in the area and I collected some numbers on the way but couldn't get a green. Then noticed I'd missed a "times 2" so headed back out for a quick find in the drizzle. Thanks AussiePam.
I struggled with the description as my brain just wouldn’t read it right!?!
But soon I was collecting numbers and the checker liked my second attempt!
I struggled at GZ too as I was on the wrong side of the road, but there were no likely spots. So I crossed over and spotted the clever camo.

Don't you just love new caches that pop up within walking distance of home!
Street art is definitely not my thing but I know these streets and lanes really well and have often taken a short cut up various ones.
I took two trips to claim this cache, both were walks for geodog - gave us a purpose. First trip was to check out the artwork and "collect the numbers" and the second, today was to claim the prize.
I was amazed at the size of the main piece of artwork.
It would take a good eye to get the perspective right on something of that height.
Knowing the area I thought I'd picked a quietish time to visit GZ but the best of plans can go astray and I was thankful that I had geodog to provide a decoy for the grab and replace of the cash.

Today we headed into the city, taking advantage of the cheap Sunday $2.60 per head capped Opal Card fares, to go on a caching walk from Central Station to Sydney Uni and Glebe. Also stopped off at St Leonards, on the way in, for a couple of AussiePam caches. This was the 2nd of 9 finds for the day.
After finding "ZigZag" we walked along Atchison Lane for this one. Started at the published coords, and was wondering where the artworks were suppose to be, but then at the next block up we found them. Wow that bloke with the birdcage is an impressive sight. Set about finding all of the required info and soon had some final GZ coords, which were duly entered into the GPSr, and we were then off to find the prize.
Spotted a likely "hint type" hiding spot on arrival at GZ and, after closer inspection, it was CIH. Signed the log sheet then replaced as found. Thankfully it was nice & quiet at GZ on this sunny Sunday morning.
Thanks AussiePam for showing us yet another hidden street art "gallery", providing a splash of colour to an otherwise dull laneway, and thanks for the puzzle & cache. Favourite point awarded.

Out caching with oldmorty.
After a delicious breakfast at the Coal Loader, oldmorty and I headed off to Atchison Lane to find some street art. Must remember to read the description and clearly note what is asked of me. My 2 times table was lacking. Once sorted and with an ok from the checker, it was off to GZ. Found cache without too many problems and signed the log. Thanks AussiePam for showing us a very interesting street.

Time for frazeydaze and I to head back over to the lower north shore for another installment of the CO's caches. After a hearty breakfast at the Coal Loader it was off to this our first cache. After reaching the starting point we found the required information for a bit of number crunching, however we could not get the geo checker to agree with our solution despite several attempts and rechecking the collected info. What to do? PAF who pointed out that we forgot to times something. Once that was sorted the geo checker was happy to agree with our solution and it was off to GZ where it was soon CIH. Thanks for showing us some more back street artwork and the cache aussiepam.

Knowing that I occasionally pick up some casual work at St Leonards, I left this one for such a day. Had a short amount of time before work and figured I'd use it productively to collect the required info. Took the wrong approach to the posted coordinates and then stood there scratching my head. Not the first time I've done that on an AussiePam cache . Headed towards work a different way and all was revealed. Made a rookie error on my first calculation but took a bit more care the second time and got the green light.
Took a quick detour after my late lunch and soon spotted what I was looking for. Must have picked a good time because there were not many muggles about. Sat down to sign log and replaced without incident.

Despite the rain, which became progressively heavier, I enjoyed my stroll along Atchison Lane picking up the clues and was delighted to receive the checker’s approval on my first attempt.
At GZ, I had to time my grab and replace to avoid the gaze of the many muggles. I think I got away with it.
Nice one, thanks again AussiePam.

Companions: None
Muggles: Few at WP1, quite a few at GZ
Weather: Pleasant autumn morning
Cache condition: Good
I needed a calendar find, so blocked out the start of my day to give me daylight hours for a search. I got off at St Leonards and headed east. I gathered the details for this out of sequence, and when I had all of them decided to go find another nearby cache first. Once I had I returned to GZ. I first searched on the wrong side of the road, based on the map, before trying the other side, where I quickly spotted the container. There was a fire alarm in a nearby building causing people to be streaming out, while there was a bit of car traffic, but I was able to retrieve the container and complete the formalities without any bother.
Thanks for the cache, and for sharing the interesting murals (which I would _never_ have seen otherwise!)

I love street art! Especially in dingy alleys, it brightens the place up and names a marked improvement on the feeling of the are (imho)
I’ve seen other works by this featured artist but this is my first visit to this one.
I collected the info that was required but then struggled to get a green light from the checker.....ok that’s my fault! Typo after typo and then failing to read the description.....oops.
Finally I had a GZ confirmed and off I went.

When I saw this one published I knew it would be a good lunch time target as my office is above St Leonards station. Yesterday I was up at the warehouse, so today was the day to go for a lunch time stroll. I had solved the google part of it beforehand, so it was just answering the other questions with the warning signs a little further along the lane. The final answer made sense on the map so didn't bother with the geochecker and the hide was spotted fairly quickly. Just had to wait for some cars to move off to make the grab, then wait a bit longer before I could put it back in place. Thanks AussiePam.
Atchison Lane was very quiet today at mid-day. We took a walk and found the required numbers reasonably quickly. GZ was a much busier place with all the traffic whizzing by. Fortunately retrieving the cache did not pose too much of a challenge. Like the street art theme. TFTC.
Today is a geo ghost town in Sydney!! Is there a Giga Event I don't know about??
After lazily FTFing Pink Flamingo I was content and off to Bunnings when I was asked by friendly cacher if I was going to attempt to FTF this cache. To be honest, didn't even know about it so made a small detour to St Leonards. Being quite commercial and industrial, I had the place to myself this Sunday afternoon and slowly gathered the answers to the questions asked, admiring this unseen "alley of art". Geochecker went green and soon had CIH. Great little challenge and Aussie Pam must walk down some dark paths to find the gem GZs that she does! TFTC!

TFTC!
