This series has been on my list for quite a while: so many kayak caches in a relatively small area, close(-ish) to home, somewhere I hadn't paddled before. What's not to love. AtTheLakeHouse and I had chatted on and off about doing this series one day but we'd just never made it happen. You know what it's like; we'll get to that one day!Well, Small Wombat's trip back for a limited time was just the motivation that was required to make it happen, so a plan was hatched. Small Wombat, ATLH, Shazzar66 and I set off on a beautiful morning for a paddle. We started by heading upstream. This was our first. Thanks, WallabyWanderers for the placement, and ATLH for the adoption/maintenance on this series.
a long time back I saw this small power trail on eenie creek and was immediately intrigued. Not having a kayak I shelved the idea for a future foray.A few years later and a few coastal kayak cache capers done and dusted eenie creek again started to take prominence.A few nudges were implied to the now cache owner on a possible maintenance run before once again hunting down easier fodder. Then suddenly it was all happening. Someone spoke to someone else and all I had to do was make my way to the closest bus station to be picked up and whisked off to a new projected entry point. This was the first cache we found on our morning out on this beautiful creek.Wow, a whole lotta unloved.Thank you AtTheLakeHouse for adopting this cache as your own and keeping this awesome series alive for us all.
Looking for a full day of caching, I packed my car the night before so I could get an early start for the day.I meet up with Duppers, ATLH & Small Wombat to collect a few smilie on the beautiful day.Heading up stream. this was stop #1 - Quick find. Signed ShaDup & Small Wombat.I found your cache, Eenie Creek #12 today.AtTheLakeHouse & ATLH, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
Eenie Creek #12 was transferred from WallabyWanderers to user AtTheLakeHouse
I was up on the Sunshine Coast for a paddle today. I did have caching partner organise for today’s paddle, but they were a no show. Oh well nice early paddle then head home.
CO thank you for bringing me here what a lovely creek to paddle in. I got a bit windy at the lake entrance. But creek was good through.
I found 14 today most were a quick find, couple took a bit longer. All were in good condition.

Helped a guy locate his kayak who was camping on the banks of the river. Thanks for the hide!
These caches have been on my to do list for soooo long. I finally got the opportunity to paddle Eenie Creek and let me say - it was worth the wait! We had perfect weather conditions too, so it was pretty much smooth sailing across the lake to the start of the trail. I was going to go solo for this but at the last minute decided to put a call out for company, and I’m glad I did. Kayaking - like caching - is more fun with others to share it with. I was joined by Peppa and Chamad as part of a day out they had planned. So off we went on a watery adventure together, and with the CO’s permission to do any maintenance necessary, I was armed with replacement supplies just in case. The creek was far more beautiful than I was expecting and it made for a really enjoyable morning. We found all 14, with note to the last one where we observed a real change in vegetation at the end of the line. Thank you so much WW for the hides. If I had that many FPs in the bank I would give them all one
A planned walk with Peppa to finish off a challenge we both were after had to be cancelled. Due to the recent weather events, the slippery conditions and high levels of water in both the creeks and at the crossings would have made for a dangerous situation. An invite from At The Lake House to join her for a paddle seemed a little more enjoyable and rescued the days events. This then put in action a different set of events and we then had a new plan to still complete our challenge cache.
I loaded the car and meet up with Peppa at a convenient spot and off we went. A little earlier than planned but that means we can catch a few butterflies along the way. My trusty navigator had us on point and we found some good little bag fillers along the way.
Thanks for a great morning, we got in 14 caches on the creek and did some maintenance work for the CO, replacing logs and bags and so forth. The whole trip took us 3 hours from launch to beaching. Getting the tides right was a big thing, the paddle across was hard work but once we were in the creek it was a very leisurely paddle around. The wind stayed away right until we started back home, across the open area again but it was a little help than a hindrance.
Thanks to the CO for placing these in here, a truly awesome paddle and on a good day very enjoyable, thank you.

Out for the day with chamad…
The plan is to meet AtTheLakeHouse at Lake Weyba, paddle Eenie Creek and then go for a target cache on the edge of Kondalilla National Park… Meeting again at Carseldine Bunnings at 7am it’s going to be a big day…
Having finally made it to the end of Lake Weyba drive, our small flotilla set off on what appeared ideal conditions… The SS Origami Hooruu performed well until the shallows where it was just easier to get out and walk… chamad was busy counting stingrays… and I was almost going to have a tantie until I spotted one on the way back across the lake…
The paddle across Lake Weyba was deceptively hard… and I was happy to reach the creek…
AtTheLakeHouse came fully prepared today, including the COs permission to replace anything that required attention… Geepers really wanted us more into the middle of the creek, but it appears that the cache, and what it was probably attached to are gone… there is evidence of a recent break…
After consideration, a replacement location was chosen… look for the strangler vine…
Tftc… According to the app we were out here for 3 hours and paddled 8.4km

Found this a while ago, logging now.
Saw this interesting series on the map so went out with Smudgeycat D for the afternoon and a look at Eenie Creek. A very nice waterway here.
Once we got into position Smudgeycat spotted the prize and did the duties.

Logging old caches originally found with alphag_25. Now have my own account and logging them separately so that I can claim the finds.
4/1/22 Made plans today to get some more Kayak caches. Reviewed the descriptions and wind warnings but we also have a 35lb motor on Kayak to help us along. Headed out with Geokid Caitlyn1105 and found almost all of these caches spot on gps gz and a quick search and caches were found in good condition. Lovely area to Kayak and thanks for bringing us here. Recent logs reported this cache missing. Replaced with small pill bottle and rain rite paper. TFTC SL
This was an interesting one. We spent quite a lot of time here – I was compelled to keep searching on the basis of the last post being a yellow smiley. However, the two posts before that were "logged with permission" (didn't find a container), and the three before that were DNFs. So, 5 out of the last 6 haven't found it.
That doesn't mean it isn't there, of course – especially as I have been known to suffer from some fairly epic cache blindness from time to time! But I did leave this one scratching my head a bit. Hoping to come back and make amends soon. Thanks for the awesome series, WallabyWanderers.

Day 2 of our Eenie creek finds.
Today we decided to find the remaining 4 caches by foot rather than water craft.
A fairly straight forward walk thru the reeds and shrubs. But would suggest long pants and runners.

Teamed up with E-Smiley at 7am and finished the series in 2.5h. We made good progress and the weather was perfect.
Logged with permission by CO as the container seems to be missing.
Thanks for showing me this enjoyable creek and exercise.

We searched all over the place for this one. All the coords have been spot on for all the other caches in this series. Kind CO allowed us to log a find after confirming the cache had somehow drifted.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here Dahumbug and WallabyTim. Lovely series to do. I expected we're going to be so muddy after completing. Great for our D/T average. Lol. Thanks for keeping us entertained.

Looked high and low here today but no luck for us at all. Tried both sides but with the same result.
DNF looked for half an hour going around in circles due to the compass direction telling me “over here” & telling me “over there” got out of the yak & found a pole with no hook... but still didn’t find anything high in the trees off shore kept leading me to the middle of the creek
***COs- catching up on a significant logging backlog stretching back a number of years.?? It started as a series of unfortunate events and went from there. I am logging your cache on the date I had been there, not the day I'm now logging on. Apologies for the late logs. Cheers?? ***************************************Up here with hatzofff, RoddyC and SnickersAllan having fun and finding caches. We set sail from under the bridge and paddled out here to Lake Weyba and worked our way back.. Once away from the bridge it was just magic along here. We found all the caches and really enjoyed the paddle. TFTC??
Visiting from the Gold Coast and met up with northern geo friends to tackle a few local caches today. Absolutely loved this series on this quiet and tranquil creek. Most finds were easy to spot and were all in great order, thanks CO.

Our second of three days on the Sunny Coast.
Today we headed up to Noosaville for a bunch of T5 caches.
We launched at the upstream bridge, then paddled to the Lake to begin collecting our Smileys on the way back.
We saw that this cache was still disabled by being missing, so we came prepared to drop in another. Imagine our suprise when we saw a new container already in place. Again, nice to sign a clean log sheet.
Cache located, log signed and all replaced as found. TFTC, WallabyTim, at 2:11 PM on August 31, 2020.

Another Great day out doors with the good company of the Logan/Gold Coast geocachers.
We had targeted a few cachers this trip and had the kayaks on board so put them to good use. These were unloved too.
Great day, great weather, great caches and great company.
TFTC WallabyTim. Thanks for replacing

I feel we are loosing our ability. We know what we are looking for, just not seeing them.
Just had to go back and check this one out a second time. This time the gps didn't mess around and took me straight to GZ. Unfortunately the cache is no longer attached to its well anchored tether but the CO advises that he will sort this out shortly. Thanks WallabyWanderers.

After the previous posts about the missing cache, decided to not spend time on this one.
Found the string and wire it cache has snapped off and presumably at the bottom of the creek
This one probably had us the most confused today. After assuming it was on one side of the creek, or was that in the middle of the river?, We looked for quite awhile until deciding to change sides. A bit of lateral thinking that took us a long while to arrive at! As soon as we had the correct side of the creek we spotted it before arriving at GZ. This was another lovely one that we did not need to leave the boat for.
Thanks WallabyTim for maintaining this great series. They were all a lot of fun along the way.

Downstream we paddled to our next GZ. Before looking we reached back to grab some water for a drink, the water we stopped for at the servo as we had left the house this morning with no water, first time ever forgotten we think. As I was taking a sip I turned to Mr 4ando and went ‘S&*t, I forgot to iron our son’s uniform for work!’ This is what happens when no Friday night drinks happen, I’m completely out of wak. Forgot the water, forgot to iron the clothes, yeah we hear you he should be able to iron his own uniform but in his defence he is a millennial with a control freak mum.
Thankfully we are more organised this morning with our cache finding, Mr 4ando went one side while I went the other and it was pretty quickly that he yelled out ‘I’ve got it.’ Paddling to his side to reach the log to sign it as I had the pen, told ya control freak, the log was signed. Reaching up to place back, realised I was no where near GZ as in that time I had floated unknowingly away. Mr 4ando had a good chuckle as I reached for something that wasn’t there. Paddling back we put everything back together before moving on.

So Spellzen and I wanted to take a little mini vacation but had the secondary agenda of geocaching so where to go? NOOSA! It was the first getaway we ever had when I first came to Australia and this was his birthday weekend so it was the perfect spot. This also marks my first time ever in a kayak (loved it!) and Spellzen was absolutely patient and loving towards my inexperience. This was a great series and we enjoyed it thoroughly! Thanks so much for this series of caches! Created wonderful memories for me! Tftc! Teazr and Spellzen
Day 3 of the Pine Rivers Cruising Yakht Squadron organised event to kayak the Sunshine Coast. The numbers dwindled overnight and now it was Brother Colin and myself gathered caches at Eenie. Another who shall remain nameless apparently has brown bottle fever ( maybe that was green bottle fever).
Had a great morning cruising up and back along this creek with a little excitement on the return journey as the Police were apparently hot on the trail of some villains and were keen for us to get out of that area. Lucky for us we got those caches on the way upstream

Day 2 of a long week-end of kayak caching.
This morning I headed out with Ruzzelz and Brother Colin.
This creek gets better as you venture further in..
A bit of a search but we found it.

This weekend of camping and kayaking was organised by Slow Puncture for a group from the PRCYS. We stayed at the Scout Campsite, 'Camp Cooroora' on the banks of Lake MacDonald. A fantastic place to stay with hot showers, grassy campgrounds, fire pits and kitchen facilities ... and cheap. [^]
Day 1 involved finding the caches on Lake MacDonald and Cooloothin Creek. [^]
Day 2 started with Eenie Creek with Ruzzelz and finished with Cooroibah Creek with Caro.
Another find and clues recorded as we go. [^]
Onto the next one.

Today I met up with CSNMASN to tackle the caches along Eenie Creek. After parking under the bridge we launched out yaks and were soon enjoying the peace and quiet and we headed to our first cache for the day.
We soon zeroed in on GZ and the cache was soon in hand. The log was signed, C & K to save room and once signed was returned as found and we continued on our way.

JACS had the honours of signing our first one for the day and we all decided just our initials would speed up the logging process! Should have just used Awesome 4Some!
This day had been planned and date decided for ages and finally it was here. My dad, Waz from Waz and VIK, was a welcomed late addition to the kayaking party of Gcoven, Team ARF, Ardom and myself. We used our initials to sign logs and I’m reasonably sure I stuffed the first one up as I spotted, grabbed, went to sign and then realised that I would be needing to write five names I quickly yelled ‘Should we use an acronym?’ To which I think we then all realised it would save a decent amount of pen time and log paper. Do you I could think of anything quickly off the top of my head - nope So I did initials, but I am pretty sure I added an A and missed the T in Team ARF. Paddling away to the next one and someone asked the date for the log it was then I also realised I forgot to date the log! Oh dear!!! Good thing it was the only one I had to sign for the trip!
Anyhoo, found this one just fine and it was a great start to a beautiful paddle. We had some trouble along the way with a missing cache that we where able to replace and grab the clue from the CO for. Unfortunately some others the tethers broke upon touch. Team ARF had some wire and a few were able to be redone and another we could only tuck away into a safe spot.

Take 2: The trip a few weeks back was postponed so the brain's trust aligned a creek assault to coincide with the local GIFF gathering at Nambour. With our collective social secretaries clearing the day of all other commitments and a check of the gravitational interaction between the Earth and the Moon, a 9am start was agreed and locked in.
Gcoven and I arrived a bit earlier than the rest of the mob to determine the best creek access point. Found that on the second spot - check. For those that may come later on a Wallaby hunt, it's the northern access road. The southern road will lead to a good video of you being maimed.
The rest of the yaking party arrived shortly after, Ardom, JACS Team and the Waz from Waz & Vik. With the insect spray and sunscreen applied we aligned the floating things and pushed off toward the closest Eenie Ck cache, some 80m away. Grannies chair was set up close by as the cache guardian but she was probably catching her own wallaby for breakfast.
JACS Team had the honours of signing the first log. To speed up proceedings there should be 5 letters for our respective aliases rather than filling up the log. Thanks for placing this series on a beautiful part of the sunny coast WallabyTim.

After a failed previous attempt at getting these caches (turns out being in hospital with pneumonia is not ideal geocaching conditions...), we made our way to the site. Just as I pulled over I get a phone call - "Did you forget your bags?". Yes... yes, I did!. But I have all my kayaking gear, so off we go. This was a nice paddle (although a bit stinky at the top). The tethers seem to be a bit weak, with a few containers being found broken off them, but otherwise all good. TFTC!
Almost at the end now. I decided to forego the usual cuppa stop this morning and wait until I was back at the car. Less time on the water = less time for the wind to pick up.
Today is the day for Raynersinoz' Excellent Eenie Expedition! Geohubby loaded up the kayaks and we found ourselves at Eenie Creek. Looking back at past logs we decided to park near the Eenie Creek bridge and we started out with Eenie #12. It turned out to be a good choice because by the time we reached Lake Weyba it was blowing a gale. Yikes! The creek was really lovely to paddle in and we had jumping fish, birds and even a swimming tiger snake keeping us company. We only had 3 hours to paddle the series as school pick up was looming, but we managed to find all the caches and get the numbers for the nearby puzzle (it was too blowy to go and find the cache). Thank you for a wonderful series of paddling caches, we loved it!
First Eenie for the day! Geohubby got me started in the boat and while he was getting into his kayak I snuck over to find the first cache. Of course I was still looking when Geohubby paddled up saying 'Found it!' I signed the log, closed the container and then realised I'd forgetten to get the number for the mystery cache. Yikes! It's on to the next one. TFTC WallabyTim

We heard a rumour that bella at waggy was up here too. We had picked up our new caravan yesterday and having sorted most of the issues a brief caching break in the afternoon seemed a good plan.
A call to B@W and a plan was made to jointly do the caches around Eenie Creek.
And after another pleasant day led to new names is a series of D5s as well as a couple of others such as Row Row Row your Boat.
Having managed to squeeze a day on the Sunny Coast, and it was certainly living up to its name we had managed to borrow a kayak (thanks) so tried to squeeze in as many T5 caches as we could.
A few stingrays were seen down near the shallows at the mouth of the creek plus a few fish jumping out of the water.

A call from Brad and Janet at around midday after the first two creeks revealed they were also up this way so a plan was hatched to meet up and do Eenie Creek with Brad.
A suitable launch point was found and another beautiful water way admired as we paddled around making the finds and noting down the clues. Fortunately no injuries or broken branches like before.
As a bonus we picked up Row Row Row Your Boat puzzle along the way.

With reports that the creeks of the Sunny Coast had been recently sprouting dozens of new caches, a plan was hatched to paddle Eenie and Cooloothin Creeks with Slow Puncture to see what we could find.
We started at Eenie Creek to try and get out early before the wind picked up, and found a nice sheltered place to park under the bridge before hitting the water. There was abundant wildlife both jumping about in the water and soaring high above it.
All caches in the series were found (some with more effort than others) leading us to the final before heading back. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache **WallabyTim**.

Tuesday. Mrs SP was out up the coast in the light rain today with Orange Crew, both with kayaks in tow. The creek was remarkably smooth today – like a ‘millpond’! Nice quickish find and log was signed, replaced as found and we went on to the next cache
This was the 4th of 17 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***WallabyTim***, for showing us this place.

After having some lunch, we found a good place to launch our kayaks and set off to grab the caches along this water way and also obtaining the information required to locate the mystery cache at the end.
All the caches were found relatively easy.
All is good with this cache.
Find #1468

Quick and easy find. Quick and easy find. We had an enjoyable afternoon paddle alongvthis water way. There was no wind, so was very easy paddle. We parked not far from the bridge and completed the upstream caches first then the down stream caches next. We saw a huge sea eagle nest in a electrical tower. This was a really nice place to paddle and we saw fish jumping out of water and small bats flying around at dusk. We performed various trapeze acts and gymnastics getting in out of the kayaks to get the cache. CDAH55 ended up in drink at one stage when he was left unsupervised.
Cache originally placed by geo-hubby WallabyTim with geo-wife MrsWallaby (formerly KaleidoscopeCass) along for the paddle. Re-logging under our now combined caching name of WallabyWanderers. We no longer live in the area so thanks to dahumbug for adopting this cache

We still had kayaks loaded on the car from the previous days adventure, but when these were published we decided to set aside the days plans for EVIL NUMBERS and head to Eenie Creek instead. I have often said to a few people that this creek would make a magnificent trail of creek caches. Since the creek is predominantly sand instead of mud, the creek is crystal clear and so pleasant to paddle through. After parking beside the creek, right near the Eenie Creek cache on Walter Hay Drive, we started our morning adventure before the wind really started to blow.
**End of Copy and Paste Section**
This was our first find of the series. Having found this before they were all published, Caro wanted us to stay conscious of any possible clues. The first clue was numbered, even though I thought the CO numbered them wrong again.
Thanks WallabyTim

We were all set and ready to head up to Yurol Forest so I could find the Evil Numbers cache series, when the notifications for these T5 caches started coming in. It was an easy decision to leave the 4wd and take my kia which was already loaded and ready to go with two kayaks.
Dahumbug knew a spot we could duck down to park along the creek so we did that and got ourselves organised while waiting for a few fishing muggles to move from where GZ appeared to be. By the time we were in the water they had left the area so we were able to make a quick find. I noticed a number in the cache and wondered if we may need them for something...
Then we turned and headed the other way as we wanted the tide and wind to work with us and knew it would pick up rather than drop off. It was nice and calm at this stage and is a very pleasant place to paddle in. Thanks for the cache, WallabyTim.
