Its with a sad an heavy heart ive decided, Charli has ran his course. In hindsight.... placement should have been better and away from so many Muggle homesteads. Maintenance is too much for me to keep up with as time with Miss 2 takes priority. Its been an awesome ride mate, we achieved amazing things together. Rest easy with the Caching gods my friend. x

At some point, Kryslazz will be back in the caching world with much better placements and long term maintainable caches.

Had no problems here but the puzzle was a doozy. Nice to win this one.
Thanks and sorry for the late logging kryslazz

We were heading to Morwell for the Hawthorn/Collingwood practice match and as GMelb had solved this we decided to stop to find it. We solved these puzzles over a few stints and still have more to solve. Cache was a nice easy find. Time to head to the footy match now … GO HAWKS!!

This was my last cache for the day, as the weather has turned and it's time to head for home.
Thanks kryslazz.

Apologies for the generic log. Found over a year ago with SirJ-Oz on a trip to Gippsland for the Rockwiz series, Robot Charli and a few assorted others. A busy day with 39 finds and several DNFs thrown in too. Thanks for the puzzles kryslazz which passed some time during lockdown as we worked through them all and for the cache we picked up this pleasant visit. Sorry to see this one has been archived since our visit.

Find #4920. Found @ 16:17 with Annoying Tarbit

After many virtual puzzle solving evenings over lockdown Annoying Tarbit and I have solved lots of puzzles in and around the Moe area, so an outing was planned for today to collect on some of the geo-art puzzles, and some others along the way.

Another one that we couldn't find, but it was only when I started looking a less likely locations a bit further away from where our equipment was tell us was the coordinates that I located the hide.

Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache kryslazz

Find #11519

Headed out towards Moe area with beckNmonts and Manfred Wolfgang on a couple of different missions on this pleasant autumn day. Mission 1 was to try and complete the Robot Charlie Geoart which we begun in 2019. Today was the day, a complete success.

Thanks to kryslazz for the cache.

Big things are continuing to happen! *Are you joining the fun again in 2021?*

Having long long ago solved these puzzles, and attempted to find the cache twice before now, I am very pleased to be logging this one! ahomburg and myself decided that today was a good day to try and rectify some DNF’s, this time with the geo-crocodile, Manfred, in tow. Thanks for placing the cache kryslazz, and for the puzzle.

Maintenance run today. How some of these are gone, is beyond me. Ohhhh well. Replaced and ready to go. Happy caching.

After finally solving the puzzle, which was quite a difficult one, we turned up near GZ. I went to search for the cache while The Driver found somewhere safer to park than on the road near GZ. I searched the location but was uncomfortable searching outside a property with no screen from anyone in the house or outside. Someone was mowing on the other side of house and all the blinds of the house seemed closed, but I was wary. I did a pretty thorough search, read the hint, then searched again. I had an idea of what I was searching for and have found something similar before. Unfortunately I couldn’t find the cache today. It looks as if I’ll have to try another day.

Nearly didn't find this one until we found something suspicious. Tried not to draw attention to ourselves but someone came home whilst we were signing the log, so we quickly put it back and left, stopping down the road to write our notes. Thanks for the cache and the series.

Was about to give up on this one as the residents/visitors had arrived. Just as we gave a last quick look around, we spotted something and there it was. Did our best to take some photos and observe the foliage around us whilst the signing duties were performed. Quickly replaced and we were on our way. Thanks for the cache and the puzzle.

Out and about in the area with BeckNmonts and Ahomburg to tackle the local geoart and put a few smiles on the map.
The day was full of laughter and many awesome hides, unfortunately we did have some DNF's.
A few of the caches had some fun containers and interesting themes.
We didn't get much of a chance to search due to the GZ occupied by curious muggles
Cheers for the cache

With the Mega now over it was time for one of the FurfacesLL team to return home for work and the other one to soldier on with Rapidlywild. Also visiting friends around the area on the down days when RW was busy.

Well a clear day for a change so we went to collect the Robot Charli series. Can't take any credit on these RW did all the hard work solving these as we were actually off traveling overseas trying to solve their puzzles. So today we rewarded her extra gray hairs with smileys.

Thanks for the hide and puzzle and bringing them back to life kryslazz and thanks to Rapidlywild for the company and caching adventure.

Sorry for the generic logs.

The Mega had been and gone however myself and FFLL#1 were staying on for another week with some other commitments. I had a charity Gala dinner to attend to on the Saturday following the Mega so it only made sense to stay on in Victoria. We were staying out Gippsland way so we had targeted Robot Charli and a couple other series to do, however the weather decided to go against us and we did not get all that were planned. It doesnt matter, we still got a fair few done in the time we were here. Once it was time to start heading home, we went via Albury to pick up some more puzzles of which we had solved.

Well it was time to get out and clean up Robot Charli. I was one of the early solvers of this series, I earnt myself MANY grey hairs solving this guy and I was super upset when he got archived.... But he was resurrected, and in time for us to come collect him!!! The puzzles ranged from easy to super hard, truely was a series for all the puzzle solvers! Apologies for the generic logs, its been a massive week with the Mega (bike riding and lots of walking) and then this series soon after, the legs were feeling it thats for sure.

Thanks for the cache hide kryslazz and the ladies of FurfacesLL for another great caching adventure away from home Big Grin

It was great to see Robot Charlie come back on line and give us the opportunity to go out to search the final locations.
With Roostaman arriving from places afar to the area on his way to the Parkville Mega, it was time to team up once gain with RebelActs for an attempt on the series and some of the caches we had still not found in Moe. Today we were also joined by KI Bug in the hunt so a fun-filled day was definitely in store!
Credit to Rebel who was the key to the puzzle solving and had put in many hours over quite some time to finally achieve success to unlock the series.
A plan was hatched to meet and head out. We came across a variety of hides with some interesting twists in widely differing locations. Some easily accessed and others more challenging.
There was much by-play throughout the day, mostly seeming to centre round ‘organization’ and the need for GSAK, despite the fact it won’t run on IOS! There were caches missing logs, only to find the log-overlooked within the cache! We discovered ‘Emergendy logs!!!’, a new terminology that was embraced and will be a common thread in conversation from now on! The biggest disagreement was over the lunch venue, with Rebel detailing the pluses and minuses of McDonalds over Hungry Jacks!
All in all, a great day out touring the local area with much fun had by all.
Thank you for the series Kryslazz.

I was asked if I would like to join some mad “oldies” (a cheeky farmer’s description of us on the day!) on a day’s geocaching in the Moe area, mainly focusing on the Robot Charlie series. Having not been in fine geocaching form over recent months I was a little concerned that my physical participation may have been limited however I jumped at the chance. Consequently Mr K.I. bug joined an amazing outing with Mr SkiPair, RoostaMan and Rebel Acts. It was a day full of friendly barbs and jokes and a great example of how much fun can be had geocaching with great company.
Thanks must go to the other members of the “team” who completed a lot of “solving” and organized the adventure.
We hit the ground running (well sort of!) and successfully found a cache every few minutes in a combined effort. We went at a fast pace, not stopping until late lunch time and I must admit that on occasions I was the “provider of the pen” rather the member who scaled the cliff or whatever else was required however I was very pleased with my effort on the day. Consequently it looks like more geocaching will be coming up!
Although there were a good variety of hides with some requiring a walk, all were generally found quite quickly. What else, with such an experienced team! We did have to provide a couple of “emergency logs” where they had disappeared.

Have seen one of these before however I still took a step back on finding the cache "container"! I let Mr SkiPair tackle it just in case. We enjoyed completing this one - a little different in the series - thanks a lot kryslazz!

My good Mate Roostaman was down from Wagga Wagga for the Mega and staying at My place, A plan was hatched to meet up with Ski Pair and KI Bug and do the Robot Charli series and a few other caches in the Moe area. With Robot Charli almost self destructing I was keen to get them found after spending so many hours working on it. Thanks kryslazz for the cache.

I set off early in the morning to spend the day collecting 36 of the Robot Charli puzzle caches that I have solved to-date. I was devastated when the CO had to archive them all however it is a testament to her resolve that she has revived them.

The puzzle took me a long time to get the initial thread to. A quick find at the GZ. TFTC.

*Found whilst on a Robot Charli cleanup*

Out and about with The Empire.

One of the many caches we found but was unable to log them until they were enabled again.

No issues with the first few. It was only later that we had some issues as we found ourselves too close to some peoples properties for their liking.
Some ordinary hides in some ordinary locations. It seems that the new hides have rectified this.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache anyway kryslazz.

Stamped and returned as found...

Found by The Empire with Snap Happy
The plan was to cruise through Moe, pick up the caches in the Robot Charli series, then off to Foster for the night. We had missed this section of the trail and were able to 'back track' a bit to make some quick finds. The road was busy and it was tricky to pull over close to cache locations. We found these three pretty quickly. Thanks for the cache and the series kryslazz.

I was out today with Biggles Bear to concentrate on finding as many as we could of the Robot Charli caches that we had solutions for. Quick find but it didn't look real.

Thanks for the cache, kryslazz.

Found by Mary & David at 1356. At least the nurse knew this formula, but neither of us knew the puzzle subject matter. Certainly agree with the hint, even though we've seen hides like this before. Our thanks to kryslazz.

Out visiting Robot Charli Series with Crank1. Thanks kryslass for the fun puzzles, caches and brilliant workshop. Keep up the awesome work you have put in for us to enjoy. I were unable to find this cache quickly, Crank1 had to park her car a further away and join me afterwards, guess what she made it a quick find. I guess this cache is not my cup a tea, haha!!

It was early morning when the last of the Robot Charli puzzle caches were released, but I had already left home heading the wrong direction towards a night cache that I had targeted. The plan was quickly changed and I rushed to work extremely early, so early that I beat everyone, including the maintenance team who usually open the gates. I took this as a good omen and wanted to continue beating everyone to the geocaches too.

This was one of the first puzzles that I started working on, and I was able to make a start but a couple of the images kept stumping me, and I must have got a few of the red crosses before having a break. After re-visiting the puzzle a number of times, I soon learnt that my resource site, was missing some critical information, and one of them had 2 different options. It was then a matter of checking my possible location on google maps, then using the geochecker and after a few more incorrect answers, I discovered my mistake and the green tick was found.

I found a good parking spot about 150 meters away and walked the rest of the way. While chatting online, a friendly local stopped to ask if I was OK. I used my usual "just waiting for a friend" excuse, which probably would have worked better if I was near my car, but they did leave me in piece. After 10 minutes searching, the container was found, and I must have been completely blind to it the whole time.

Thanks for the great series Krys Lazz
