DNF on a wet and stormy day while out and about with evangt. And we didn't go in to ask.
Clever hide! The lovely lady from the store gave us a hint which definitely helped I doubt wed have found it otherwise. Loved finding this Tftc!
About to give up when the shop owner told us where it was. Even then we couldn’t find it immediately, but she came out and put her hand on it straight away. It’s called using all available resources. TFTC.
Found on the way back from another cache up the road. Needed petrol so stopped in and grabbed this one. We must not have been that subtle as the lady behind the counter asked if I’d found it! TFTC.
Staying around the Armidale area to cache for a few days.
This was our lunch stop so a cache here was an added bonus. Searched while waiting for our food but came up short and left it until after. Spurred on by the owners who confirmed we were looking in the right place, we finally found it.
Thanks for the cache

It was wet and 7 degrees this morning, so we decided that a few drives to interesting caches would be better than endless in and out of the warm car, so we decided to focus on the letterboxes around Armidale and go from them.
This was challenging in todays conditions, but we did get there, Samuel managed to get in under the bush and emerged with the cache.... the log is a bit damp.... TFTC

Found today while on a morning cache drive with my Dad, Mum and Little Brother, it was raining so we decided to head out and do some semi roadside caches before we went and got lunch, found 6 and also found a few more this afternoon...

Instead of heading mega north to Townsville for Easter, Seffnjarah and I planned a long weekend road trip doing some bushwalks whilst targeting puzzles, EC's, unloved caches, high favourite points and some higher elevation caches.
After a night in the swag in Armidale, today we planned on heading west before turning south, and then returning via Uralla to clean up a long list of caches in Armidale.
I had still not partaken in caffeine this morning when we arrived in Invergowrie. Fuel was reasonably cheap so a stop, some coffee and a cache was scheduled. The coffee was excellent. The constant stream of muggles hampered a full on search. With the newly refuelled car shielding us from muggles, the cache was finally found - but only after gleaning some hints from the logs.
Many thanks, Armidale Smurfs

Crookedpete and I were given leave passes from our respective families for the Easter long weekend for a geocaching road trip. I suspect that this was our families' Easter present to themselves to have a weekend alone without our company .
As members of The Bromance geocaching collective, we are a rather contrarian bunch, so while the main geocaching action was apparently up north over Easter we decided to instead head south from Brisbane. Our main focus was on caches with lots of favourites, good DT combinations, high elevation or sitting sad and neglected with no visitors for an extended period.
After finding a number of other local caches, our route back to the highway took us past this location. Needing a top up of fuel, Crookedpete wandered over for a look while I filled up. No joy on the finding front, CP grabbed a coffee (5 stars he reckons) while I paid for the fuel.
It seemed to be the place to be this morning with a steady stream of muggles passing through. I was able to move the car closer to GZ which sheltered us somewhat from prying eyes as we continued the search. We spent a good amount of time on the hunt before Crookedpete extracted some useful information from a previous log and not long thereafter I was able to put my hands on the cache (more by feel than seeing). Got cheap fuel here and checked and there was also a cache here. So stopped and had a look to no avail.
I was about to leave and asked the shop owners if it was still there and the lovely lady pointed me in the right direction.
No need to leave the path.

A couple of gingerbeers and a chat with the owner and he handed me the cache...eluded us for near half an hour..nice spot to stop.in...tftc
Had a quick look but too many muggles around and we did wonder if the store owner knows about this.
We did have a look around near GZ but felt very uncomfortable about searching on private property.
If you have permission of the property owners, it would be a good idea to include that information in the description of this cache.
Cheers!

Firstly went past and decided not to stop as there were so many cars and muggles but after collecting the cache down the road we decided to give it a go and there was only the poastie's car in the area. Took a little searching before we spotted down low. Thanks.
After driving past initially and seeing a number of cars, we decided to a cache nearby. On the way back, decided to stop. Went here and there but eventually spotted. TFTC RYNO2412. Giving a FP for the location
I was under the bush searching when I saw it on the opposite side from me, luckily no one was sitting at the gazebo watching me crawl under the bush
We must have looked suspicious so the owners came and nudged us a bit! Awesome. TNLN TFTC
We searched and searched
The “hard place “ was not as in hard ground
But hard to see
We had to ask the shop keeper for assistance

After what has felt like an eternity, we are finally taking our first geocaching road trip since Clear Waters with Crzymelly, TeamPQS and HubbyandMrs.
A local cacher recommended we checkout some of the caches around Invergowrie. So today was the day to check them out.
After an initial search turned up nothing, and logs suggested local knowledge, I approached the locals and asked for some knowledge. They assisted with the search, and then the hint made sense once it was located.

Tamworth and Amrmidale Trip March 2020. Day 6. I headed north with Fitzy_1965 along the New England Highway towards Tamworth. This was our day to get the cache trails to the North and east of Armidale, it was a long day with rain showers on and off all day. The day was mostly roadside caches, but they were all of differing levels of challenges, especially when you have to deal with Farmers Friends and Stinging Nettles at almost every cache.
Thanks for the cache RYNO2412

Day 6 of our trip. Enjoying the luxury of staying in a hotel room after our campsite booking got cancelled, it was a nice easy start to the day. Headed out to where we finished last night for what turned out to be another big days caching. We aimed to finish the various trails around Armidale. Next stop for the day, and we came up with a quick find. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then headed off to the next one.
TFTC RYNO2412 !! This place looks amazing - I just wish we were here in 'normal' times to enjoy it more !

The co-ords were a bit off, so we were poking around in the wrong area. With a little local advice, we were in the right spot & made a quick find (no leaf litter made it easier). Signed as R1BG. TFTC.
My coords had me out the back and the lady at the shop was wondering what we were doing there. It felt like we were in the wrong spot so we headed back around to the public carpark. The gardener had recently visited which made the eventual find a bit easier. Logged as R1BG . TFTC
Found it! Took a little looking. Got some late breakfast from the shop and got it after.
Just spent a few days in Tamworth caching my geodog Scruffy, and we decided to find a few more caches on the way home ...
Went to the spot and had a look under and around the most promising spots , nope, nothing .. ummm [?]
Oh well, it's lunch time so decided to gets some lunch and ask the local about it - hey I don't mind cheating.
He said it was there last time he was talking to a cacher, so ordered some Fish 'n' Chips (which were yummy) and headed back over.
Of course, 1st place I looked, there it was 'laughing' at me for missing it earlier.
Cache monikered, Scruff & I sat down & had our lunch.
What a great spot for a 'lunchtime' cache.
All Good .. TFTC ..

We're back in Australia once again, picking up a few caches as we explore.
Today was our third try at this tricky little hide. Our local friends were able to get a clue from owner of store. That helped!!
Lots of bees, Mr OR ended up being stung while retrieving the hide.
Thanks for the fun RYNO2412 !
Cheers from Canada!

Had to find a. Friend. Took Nothing Left nothing Slgned Log. Have to pick your time between muggles
Found at 2:10 PM GAFF4.
This was very well hidden and with all of the muggles about it was difficult to search without raising suspicion. We once again misinterpreted the hint and were looking for a combination of 2 structures, but when the cache was finally found we understood the slightly cryptic clue.
Thanks RYNO2412.

This would have been the hardest cache to find for the day. Co-ords had us looking in the wrong location. With all the leaf litter this cache needs a Difficulty rating of more than 2.
The fuel at the service station would have to be the cheapest in the area.
Our 2nd nights at a farm stay, today we headed to Armidale to find a few caches that have been placed since we were here previously.
This was a great way to visit the city & some outlying farming countryside. A good variety of hides & caches found.
Thanks for placing this cache RYNO2412

On a cold Armidale afternoon there were only two choices and both included a heater.....so we went in the heated car to find a cache. We were caching with the phone and it wasn't happy, it was liking some very unlikely places. The wind was cutting us to ribbons and we were beginning to think we were going to die of cold in the quest for this cache but eventually we found it. The phone showed 14 metres to the co-ordinates but we weren't sure how reliable the phone was. We were just happy to get our name in the log and get back in the car. [^] TFTC RYNO2412.
