Not only did these lead me to this lovely art work but to the original anchor and cannon from the First Fleet, something I was keen to seeThanks
A very nice urban micro in great condition. Thank you for the relatively easy hide.
Thanks to the good preparation by DaggiDU gehschei and Horn had no problem finding this box today. Thanks for the hide!
Spent some time today walking the streets of Sydney and finding some interesting places which we have never been to before. Each one had an interesting feature. This one was a quick find despite a walking tour group being not very far away for their history stop here. Thanks for this cache placement go to The Booos.
Did a walking tour of this part of Sydney with goingplaces2 and enjoyed finding this cache. All good with the log and container. TFTC.
This one took me a while Looked high, looked low, looked around, looked in and about All to know avail.I did become a bit distracted by the numbers of two birds that are around the place.Had a sit for a very long while (had to charge the phone anyway,) and then reading through the logs. There were some various hints.I returned to one of the first places I actually looked, and with a new light, the vision appeared before me how could I have not seen it before! Cache stealthy, retrieved, signed, and returned. The protective wrapping is torn and the log is slightly damp May need some more protection Thanks for a very creative hide and very deserving of an FP
A nice easy find here this morning on a damp day. Signed the log, and replaced as found. Greetings from Newcastle, England. TFTC
We are four ladies from Sweden who are visiting Australia and New Zeeland We are logged as TULP This was one of the caches we found Thanks from Sweden
Four ladies from Sweden (Tigertassen, ursus67, Lnganfans, pidjas) are visiting Australia. This day we took a long walk, more than 20 km. We mostly log as TULP.This was one of the places we visited.A big thank you to the CO for this cache.
Hlsningar frn Sverige, sdra Lappland Then it was time for a little adventure. The trip goes to Sydney in Australia and then on to Christchurch and Dunedin in New Zealand .On the trip are, Tigertassen, myself, ursus67, Lnganfans and Pidjas go, which means that we log under the common name "Tulp". The idea is that before we go home we should have visited a Megaevent, Geo Toroa. Greetings from Sweden, southern Lapland
Four Swedish ladies walking around in Sydney looking for caches. We found this and we log as TULP. Thank you CO.

Those birds were so cute! We were downtown for the day and enjoyed the caches. Thanks!
Second find in gorgeous Sydney. Managed to be subtle despite the peak hour. Sweet little birds x
Cute little park in the middle of Sydney . Very difficult hide until I found it and then it was simple and easy Quirky little hide at 14:58 thank you for the cache placement and maintenance The Booos

Cache n. 3581Quick find during todays walk in the city. Greetings from the Czech Republic. Thank you for the cache.
Out for caching in Sydney in the evening. Nobody around at this time. It took few minutes to find the birds and the cache.TFTC
I spent a fair bit of time looking around all the pretty birds and sculptures and signs and statues at this location. I took lots of photos as I was wandering around; it's such a pretty place, and I was trying to hide the fact that I was searching for something. After a while, I looked somewhere slightly different. I don't know why I didn't think of it before because it's definitely right as per the hint. Thank you for the cache. It was fun enjoying this area.
A quick walk up find while waiting for my ferry to arrive. Bumped into a caching couple from Germany also looking for this one. Happy travels friends! TFTC
Reperio 14:53Day 3 of our 5 day visit to Sydney for a nursing conference, and my muggle friend and I took some time away from proceedings to explore the city and find some caches. We initially spent time looking in the wrong spot until eventually we saw something that made more sense. A moment later we had the cache in hand. Found on a big walk around Sydney whilst in town for professional development and a work function in Kings Cross the day (and night) before. Once the GPS settled, I had this find pretty quickly, but had to wait for a tourist group to leave before replacing. Nice hide and some cute birds here! TFTC!
After a very successful visit to Cockatoo Island, we arrived back at Circular Quay & I picked off a last handful of caches on my way back to the hotel. This was the next & as it was dark now I had my torch out to search the nooks & crannies around GZ. I found a large spider but he wasn't guarding the cache. This I found nearby in a place I would have checked sooner but for the high difficulty rating, which isn't really appropriate. All was well so I soon had the administration completed.Found at 17:30Cache #10486TFTC The Booos
Found while on our walking tour this morning. Fortunately not a real 4 and was a quick find
Lovely. Thanks for the opportunity to slow down and take in this interesting and special place.
Greetings from Wales Today the weather was poor so we headed to The Rocks for the Saturday Market and then went on to Taronga Zoo which was amazing. I even snuck in a couple of caches.Found totally thanks to the hint as my phone GPS went haywire showing me to be over 200 feet away. Cache grabbed on second pass and all signed. Thanks for the smiley.
This was a cool little spot! The historic structure looks like fine ladies would have sought shelter from the rain perhaps? Very cool anyway! TFTC
10025 - 20:50Together with team IkZie on holiday. This was a quick find! Thanks for the cache
Together with team Saturnus on tour through Australia. Cache nicely hidden but fortunately quickly found. TFTC
The vacation of Docla and me is coming to an end in a few days. So we have to say goodbye to Sydney and Australia. Today we just strolled through the city and ended up at the Opera (hooray, Benny was there...) and the Royal Botanic Gardens. The search took a while, but then we finally found what we were looking for.Thank you for the cache and greetings from Germany.
First 4 star cache!! TFTCP.S. the photo doesnt hint to the caches location so ignore it
Found with my personal guide, Calypso62. What a wonderful artwork concept. TFTC!!!
If your teens take your car away, what can you do? Hop onto public transportation on an unrostered work day to see some geocaching sights. And grab more finds, both caches and ALs. Mostly in Manly with this one the last one before heading home. I couldnt do much two months earlier as the skies started to pour heavily. Tonight a find within 5 mins. Thanks The Booos
The rain had not let up for the entire day and we got to the site in late afternoon tired, sore and soggy. After looking briefly in what would turn out to be the correct spot, we fiddled around for way too long under the wrong structure (the appeal of a little protection from the rain got the better of us). When it started pouring with rain we adjourned to the nearby bar for a drink and pizza while we consulted the logs. Ahh, the first spot had been the correct one! A quick retrieval in still pouring rain and the log was signed. Thanks for the great cache and an interesting site!
Day 17 of my interstate trip. Today I stayed in the Sydney area got the train into the City Center and made my way on foot checking out the sites and grabbing a few caches along the way. I managed to find 12 caches and 1 Event today and no DNF's.Was very busy here today but managed to find it without being seen I think. Nice Hide.TFTC The Booos
Ha! Didn't realise the cache wasn't there... well we did as we couldn't find anything... so we did realise it wasn't there... Maybe when we're next in Sydney, we'll avenge this DNF. -M
It was our penultimate day in Sydney and some of the heaviest rain we've ever seen - and coming from the UK that's saying something! So we decided grab a couple of caches in-between drying off in nearby pubs. Thanks for the cache, all we needed to do was step back a bit and stop looking so hard!
A weekend in Sydney with Mrs Gunnie who was really keen to visit the Ramses exhibit at the Australian Museum. Not the most pleasant weather this weekend and the city trains were out for track work, so our easy commute to the Quay was a little disrupted, but not terribly much. If nothing else, we learnt how to navigate the maze of Central Station to find the light rail down to the water. We pulled up for some breakfast before wandering around and while Mrs Gunnie relaxed with her tea, I nipped around the corner for a couple of labs and spotted this on the map as well. Hmm, 35m away, it would be remiss of me to ignore that, so I zeroed in on GZ and soon spotted the container. A quick scan, it was very quiet here this morning so with a muggle free period, I reached in, grabbed the cache and added G69 to the log. Another scan of the park, all clear, back the container went. Nice to grab a couple of icons while down from Brisbane.Cheers The Booos.
he extended Crooked Clan are enjoying a weekend visiting Sydney. Arriving yesterday, we had a great day, finishing the day with a Hoodoo Guru's concert at "Meatstock" festival out at Homebush. This morning, whilst the rest of the crew are getting some breakfast and doing the touristy stuff around Circular Quay, I snuck away to grab some caches.I jumped off the light rail and wandered around the CBD collecting caches and Adlabs. I soon emerged here. A quick read of the clue and I set about my search. After a while with no result, I decided to think outside the square and expand my search a bit. In doing so, I discovered a few extra sets of the birds that I had not spotted when I arrived. I persevered a bit longer and eventually spotted the well tucked away container. I think the clue misled me a bit here as I spent too long searching that structure. Log signed and I was on my way. Many thanks The BoosPete#7,829
Ive always liked this little park, and even more so since hiking the Great North Walk from Sydney to Newcastle in 2020 with my old man. The obelisk here js actually the official starting point of that wonderful stroll up north.I never knew these little birdies were hidden through here though. What a wonderfully subtle piece of art. Absolutely love it.Cache found (eventually ), signed and replaced. Thanks!
Adorable place! Thanks for making us pay attention to this little parkWe are on a little holiday in Sydney, and urban caching today was world class
Found it after a while. Even though there were many beer drinking muggles nearby, nobody was watching to the park.we are happy about a D4 cache!
