We are on a one week holiday road trip from Sydney to Brisbane to Sydney, with pre-booked accommodation at the Ingenia White Albatross Holiday Park in Nambucca Heads, the Big4 NRMA Treasure Island Holiday Resort on the Gold Coast, the Blue Dolphin Holiday Resort in Yamba, and the Big4 Leisure Tourist Park in Port Macquarie. Planning to collect some caches around our accommodation stays, and also stop-off for some targeted caches along the M1 Pacific Motorway route. Photos will be uploaded to logs after our return to home base.Today we drove from Nambucca Heads to Biggera Waters on the Queensland Gold Coast, starting the day with some more Nambucca Heads caches, then collecting numerous caches along Giinagay Way, before heading northward along the M1 Pacific Motorway. Stopped for a break at Little Italy, where we completed a five stage Adventure Lab, before continuing on to the Gold Coast. This was the 8th of 17 finds for the day (day 2), and 19th find of the holiday. This one was next, as we drove north along Giinagay Way, and it was a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC Nudge74.Find #7177
I detoured off the main highway to locate this cache. it was found in good condition.
Decided to take the Forgotten Highway route instead of the current highway with goingplaces2. Did some caching along the way and found this one OK. All was good here. TFTC.
Stopped for a few quick finds while heading south with ilook4geo. Found this one OK, signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for this cache placement go to Nudge74.
#2665A quick park and grab during my return road trip to Sydney after broadcasting the NRL in Coffs lastnight.TFTC
Tftc found with red_ear_slider, walked straight up to cache uncovered. Have recovered with rock.
In the area this weekend for a wedding. Today was out day to explore and find some caches.Cheers
I found this cache as I headed home to Adelaide after the QOGM events around Longreach. The plan was to be away for about a month. I travelled up to Longreach via Broken Hill, Cunnamulla, Charleville and Barcaldine, camping and finding caches of interest along the way. I am heading back home via Brisbane and the NSW coast to Sydney, then across to Adelaide. However my plans are pretty loose and subject to change, often on a whim! The weather so far has been good, albeit a little warm at times. I am hoping it stays good for the rest of the trip.I have had to be quite selective with the caches I have found as there are so many that I am passing. As a result I have mostly targeted non-traditional cache types, although I have also grabbed a few Trads opportunistically here and there. Thanks Nudge74 for the cache, which has contributed to an interesting and enjoyable trip.
We are now heading north to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria. Today I was grabbing some of this series, as I meandered my way toCoffs Harbour. Thought this was a great way to tour the old highway and would be a great alternative but I can't say they were my favorite type of caches, as who like to have to find a micro in the bush. ????
A bit of a detour but trying to do this series while heading north. This was an easier enough find.
Thanks Anissa288 for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Parked nearby and headed off in the wrong direction before consulting the GPSr. When back on track we soon made the find.
Back to a quieter time, spending time with family and enjoying the beach, walking as well as fishing after a day out on the trails.
We have ventured out for a few caches regularly to keep our streak going.
This was one of those.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Nudge74.

I found the cache very exposed today, and the logs were wet.
I replaced the pill bottle with another pill bottle, this time covered with camo tape.
A new log has been provided, and I replaced the local camo so as to help preserve the cache.

Few days off over Easter so we decided to drive from the Gold Coast to Sydney and back (in four days). Went the coast road on the way down, and then wanted to go the New England Highway on the way back, yet somehow found ourselves on The Buckets Way. Much more Scenic, but certainly made the trip considerably longer. Didn't look for many caches, just ticked off each Local Government Area on the way down and up, we already had a lot of driving, and I was probably pushing my luck with what I did already.
Nice quick find by Mrs RogersClan (6-4 to her now). Made the mistake of thinking it was just off the highway when in fact in was certainly geographically straight off it, driving wise not so much. Needs a new log, was able to sign but barely.
Thanks for the cache **Nudge74**

Found -- Thanks for bringing us to this location and Thanks for the hunt *Nudge74*.
Headed up to *Port* for a quick visit of my sibling. I have been keen to tackle this series as it looked like a great drive and I hoped it to be easy so I could keep time with my estimated arrival. Even if my arrival was not quite to time I figured I could grab the remainder on the way back through. This series didn't disappoint. I really enjoyed the drive and finding the caches.
We signed the log in either our names or our initials in some switcheroo form of LP, DJJ, ToC and then returned cache to its hide'y hole exactly as found.

Floating around while the others use their amazing skills to find the cache, well, not much help was needed, *Throsbynchurch* had things well under control. Log signed and replaced and the scene evacuated OCW *Throsbyonchurch* and *DustyJasperJet*. TFTC! Your efforts in placing and maintaining this cache is much appreciated.
Fifth for the day, as I head home to Sydney. Six days of trigs and traditionals. Life is fun.
After 28 years, I have returned to the exact site of my first motor vehicle accident back when I was an L Plater.
Much better luck today. Kids found it before parents even got out of car.
Tftc!

We went out for International Geocaching Day with the added bonus of five points for Memory Lane and the first of our Modern Wonders which turned out to be the Great Wall.
After two previous DNFs this morning it was great to finally find a cache.
T4TC and thanks for the FH series.

After being locked up in the caravan yesterday getting cabin fever, we managed to get the washing done today and headed out around the Macksville area. We were abut six into our caching day when the heavens opened up, so we headed home stopping for fish and chips for lunch. By the time we had finished the skies cleared so we headed out in the other direction towards Valla Bch for a few more. Nice day with the 'Bloodhound' AKA Geowife managing to bag a few of the trickier ones without my assistance. It's about time she pulled her weight caching.

Found 13/10/19 with JessYoung96. Easy find but started pouring down and had to run back to the car over the road through the wet grass. Sorry about the bad photo, had to do it from the car.

A lovely winters day at the coast was the plan for detecting for the Mystery at the Museum game. It was certainly a lot lovelier than the freezing white frost we left behind at 5.45 this morning. Quick find of the cache.. it was in the first place we looked. TFTC Nudge74.
A good one for the kids to help with. Log is a little damp, but still signable.

While based just out of Bellingen we explored this location and were able to find your cache. Nicely done. The scenery around here really is superb. Thankyou Nudge74 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
Spent the night in Valla Beach. Great place. Grabbed this as we left this morning. tftc.
I had the front or the back to choose from,so of course I went to the wrong area first.TFTC
This one took me across the Motorway to find me a cache
An easy find [^]
Thanks for this series of caches,
which I am nearing the end of !!
I have driven up and down the Pacific Highway innumerable times since 1985,
and see how much the areas and townes along it have changed [:o]
The population must have quadrupled in that time !!
And it saddens me to see seas of rooves spreading over the rich agricultural lands that used to provide so much produce
Growing houses does not feed people !! [:o]
Now we have the Motorway gobbling up more and more farmland too,
and splitting areas in two !!
Ah well .. that's progress I guess
Social commentary over ... TFTC
