In the area this weekend for a wedding. Today was out day to explore and find some caches.Cheers
We are now heading north to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria. Today I was grabbing some of this series, as I meandered my way to Coffs Harbour. Thought was a great way to tour the old highway and would be a great alternative but I can't say they were my favorite type of caches, as who like to have to find a micro in the bush.
Searched for sometime, when I was about to give up, made the find. Shouldn't have taken that long.
Thanks Anissa288 for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Avenged my DNF…..can’t believe I missed this little sucker when I had all the signs pointing in my favour!!
TFTC!!

Avenged, thanks to The_Tritonz for the intel. Now I feel like an idiot for not finding this one, I obviously didn’t look properly
We searched for this one on a previous visit to Coffs without any luck but today we found it tucked away in an obvious location.
Thanks Anissa288 for the placement.

Off to Specsavers next week.
I looked here a couple of weeks ago DNF but today was so quick and easy

This is my second crack at this one and knowing what and where to look I can say with fair certainty that it’s not here
All well with the cache and that’s a lot of forgotten highways. I’ll be back for more. Thanks for such an interesting trail. Love it and the beautiful scenery
A straightforward find while going for a drive along some roads less travelled in the area. Thanks for another hide Anissa288.
The afternoon took us on a short drive with ilook4geo and twista747 and we found this cache as per the info in a previous log. There was no problem with it and the cache was soon in hand. All initials were added to the log and it was returned to place before we moved on. Thank you to Anissa288 for putting this cache into play.
Found this cache with twista747 and goingplaces2. All good here. log was signed, TFTC.
Out for some caching with goingplaces2 and ilook4geo. A quick and easy find. TFTC.
Found the cache in the damaged part and the only way out was to get it to the other end. Took about 10 minutes to extract the cache. Log signed and relocated to the other end for easier extraction. TFTC
Found -- Thanks for bringing us to this location and Thanks for the hunt *Anissa288*.
Headed up to *Port* for a quick visit of my sister and *Coffs* to see my brother and his daughter. I have been keen to tackle this series as it looked like a great drive and I hoped it to be easy so I could keep time with my estimated arrival. Even if my arrival was not quite to time I figured I could grab the remainder on the way back through. This series didn't disappoint. I really enjoyed the drive and finding the caches.
We signed the log in either our names or our initials in some switcheroo form of LP, DJJ, ToC and then returned cache to its hide'y hole exactly as found.

Floating around while the others use their amazing skills to find the cache, well, not much help was needed, *Throsbynchurch* had things well under control. Log signed and replaced and the scene evacuated OCW *Throsbyonchurch* and *DustyJasperJet*. TFTC! Your efforts in placing and maintaining this cache is much appreciated.
Came back today with JessYoung96 only to find cache is missing, two way sign has been knocked over. Checked every spot to no end. I originally found this cache on 26 / 3 / 19.
Cache is currently unavailable.

Picked up a few in this series to try and find today and tomorrow. This was the first attempted and an epic fail.
If we are right in where we think this one was the sign is now laying on the ground and no cache was found in it.
But perhaps it wasn't there at all although it did fit the clue.
Sad to see a little rooster in the area. It came running over to us, probably hoping for some food. Wish people would stop dumping them.
Thanks.

A weekend trip to Coffs to visit our granddaughter & to find a couple of caches.
A detour off the main motorway onto this quiet forgotten road. Hubby used his lucky geocaching stick which made the find for us.
Thankyou for placing this cache Anissa288

A quick park and grab, on a glorious sunny day. Many thanks for the Cache. TNLNSL
Found 26/3/19. High one that was hard for me to reach as I am not tall, but standing on my car didn't help either .
Eventually found it. TFTC.

As the Raleigh Bridge is closed for repairs until July 2019 to get to the cache I had to drive on the Old Pacific Highway (Giinagay Way) join the new Motorway then get back onto the Old Pacific Highway (Pine Creek Way) at the Sgt Matthew Locke MG Bridge to then find a cache where the Old Old Pacific Highway used to be located.
The cache itself was quickly located. Nobody was using this section of road while I was locating and signing the cache.
Thanks for the Forgotten Highways series.

While based just out of Bellingen we explored this location and were able to find your cache. Nicely done. The scenery around here really is superb. Thankyou Anissa288 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
Stopped here to see what the Explorer 3 Virtual reward was all about and saw that this cache was here too so signed my name on the log before the last leg home.

Thus one took longer then it should have. But I'm vertically challenged. Finally found and signed the log. Tftc
Well I looked here there and everywhere, this was looking like a dnf for a while,a massive phewwww when I finally found it.TFTC
now which way do I want to go from here? down the more interesting road, excellent idea. at this cache its easy to hide from the muggles driving by and pretend you don't look weird. of course that's not the case but no one stops to see what you are doing unless they are other cachers! tftc
found as part of a big caching day around the southern coffs coast. thanks for the hide
Travelled down the coast to venture out with friends to wander along the old highway and some byways. We completed it over two days with ozglory joining us for the first day out and only bobbiesgirl and I on the second. Great weather both days made for 2 great days of caching. Thanks so much to both COs for placing this series for us to enjoy and remember the not Forgotten Highway!
Having nibbled away at the southern end of this intriguing series it was time to make a full on assault to find the rest and have a trip down memory lane. With the completion of the dual carriageway between Port Macquarie and Coffs finally done and dusted, it makes you realize what an absolute goat track our major east coast highway really was. Found in the company of ozglory and joojoo57. The generic nature of my logs in no way detracts from my enjoyment and appreciation of the time and effort that goes into a geotrail such as this. Well done.
What a beautiful day to go caching with friends. Spent the day with Joojoo57 and Bobbiesgirl. logs were signed Team JOB to save log space and time. . 3515 so far for us. Thanks for placing this cache Anissa288, without cachers like you we wouldn't have a hobby. Signed log. took nothing, left nothing.
Found at 9:13 AM GAFF 1.
Looked a bit harder after noticing the higher T rating.
Even after "deviation" work, the road was still very narrow and windy.
Thanks Anissa288.

With the possibility of my first FTF I was excited. Parked close to GZ and to save time out coords into the gps as I didn’t want to walk in circles relying on my phone. I searched high, low and everywhere in between but sadly there was no smile to be awarded, I will however be back
