Great find by The Only Ones. That face when the honorary geocacher finds it after we all looked for ages. If only he could remember his password to log in.

Our young treasure hunter found it

16-Jul-18
Out for a Poke-walk and a spot of cache hunting, read the clue and took a seat and had bit of a search. Kept things low key and a family were playing cricket on the grass nearby. One of the adults was saying that even Jesus started out by playing backyard cricket, or some such.

This is one of those caches where the hint makes things harder, and even now I'm not sure which album is being referenced. The past logs encouraged me to better hone in on the co-ords given and I soon found something suspicious. Found cache and signed log. There was about 1cm of water in the bottom of the cache, the logbook etc was all good and dry. Emptied the water, closed up the cache (seems well sealed..) and replaced as found. TFTC!

Mr9 grabbed another one. Glad we had a look at the logs and took a seat at the right spot. TFTC.

Not a Metallica fan but after a little look it was easy to find! Even left a travel bug all the way from Germany in it!

Find #2243
We came to Woy Woy for the Winter Walk by Brisbane Water Event held by GCNSW. The weather was perfect and the water spectacular, a kayak down here today would have been awesome. After the event we teamed up with Bryzee and Little Roo for a great afternoon around Woy Woy.
A quick find, thanks to excellent coordinates. Good container too, I'm going to check these out for ours..... We picked up 2 TBs.... TFTC

1/7/18. 2:35 PM. Cache #5572.
9th of 10 finds (& 1 DNF) today - Tascott, Koolewong, Woy Woy & Woy Woy Bay.

Still finishing lunch, I headed over here from "The Brick Wharf". A short walk to GZ, and I had made a mistaken assumption based on the hint. Taking more faith in the co-ords, I soon saw that the hint still applied and I knew the right album. Horns up! \mm/ \mm/

A quick find now that I was at the right spot. I wanted one more find to get to a round 10, so I headed over to "Up the mighty Roosters!" next. TFTC.

After the nearby event decided to take a bit of a longer walk and find a few more caches.

Hint led us to a wrong GZ however after expanding found the cache in between waves of muggles.

Thanks for the cache!

Yes, I tried to be as much stealth as I could with so many people coming and going. When I finally retrieved, signed, dropped off 2 trackables, a dad with his 2 little children decided to sit right now on the bench.. Gosh.., have to wait sitting in a rock a few meters away while writing this. When I hit send, that’s when it was all clear and cache securely placed in its hidden spot. Cool place
Thanks, Puglumps!

TFTC. Still dry after yesterday’s rain

Having noticed this cache's return, I couldn't resist going for a walk along the waterfront on this beautiful winter's morning. With not too many muggles about I was able to make a quick find, although while I was signing the log someone asked if I was about to try some fishing. The new container looks like it should do a good job of keeping the rain out.

Many thanks for an enjoyable hide and location.

Cache replaced after original not as waterproofed as suspected. New container and log, with extra waterproofing.

We had just arrived home when the email arrived and as it was only 10 minutes away we decided to head back to Woy Woy instead of rushing in to the heater. A short walk up the path by the water in a freezing wind took us to GZ and not long after I held the cache. The log is not in a protective bag and is so wet already to be almost unusable. There was no point in me placing it in a new bag because that would just trap the moisture, the log needs to be dried out or replaced first. Thanks to Puglumps for the hide, as we approached GZ we were behind 2 Pugs taking their owners for a walk, I wondered if they were the COs (ie the humans, not the Pugs!)
