I see dead people. Quick find here. Just the way we like it. Love your work.Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumalated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Tew's day the fifteenth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. A nice find here today, a quiet place in the suburbs. Cache is all goodTravelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the cache

Luckily looked just at the right angle to find this one. Oddly we found two caches of identical construction (within maybe 30cm of each other), so just signed one of them and replaced both as found. TFTC Smile

Found by The EmpireThe Empire cruised across Victoria's vast landscapes, a journey fuelled by anticipation and the thrill of reconnecting with The Rebel, their paths converging in a legendary meeting and a Parma at the pub in Warragul. As I walked through the cemetery, the atmosphere was serene, the only sounds being the rustling of leaves and distant bird songs. The rows of headstones stood as silent sentinels, each marking the life and legacy of individuals who had once walked these lands. Thanks for the cache Cherryslice88. -M

During our weeks trip with Bare Foot Guru, Infoferret and Trinity to the Canberra Mega we logged as a combination of "BFG, CF, BIC, BITC" depending on who we were caching with at the time. The trip took us on a flight to Melbourne first, then a drive to Canberra, followed by a drive to Sydney before flying out again. Where possible I will add commentary to each find about the cache. Thanks for all the caches, hides and effort put into hiding and maintaining them. Lovely cemetery - Nicely maintained and some interesting graves.

Off on another Friday evening caching run and for tonight's adventure I selected the Deakin area. Specifically focusing on the nearby Virtual Cache and the WhereIGo.Got here just early enough that the Cemetery gates were still open and with no one around, I was able to park pretty close. Got to GZ, and started searching. Obviously I misread the poem's hint as I didn't find anything where I thought, but I did end up finding it especially close. Thanks for the cache Cherry Slice 88Hunter

Out and about on a beautiful Spring day. This was not the hide I expected, based on the cache name. However, after circumnavigating the object whilst looking, I then reverted to touch, and located the cache that way.

Thanks to Cherryslice88 for the cache.

Avoiding peak traffic, I figured I'd take a lap of a cemetery I've not previously visited...

The last of the day's light was fading from the landscape as I walked from the west gate and across to one corner of the cemetery for the first find.

Then around the periphery via the northern end before making my way to this hiding spot, which was obvious even by torchlight.

(Well, it's not as if this is a rare experience, as my local open space just happens to be a large expanse of resting places... a lovely place to explore at night)

A cute cache, Cherryslice88... a little after normal hours, but again, what else is new?

We had attempted this cache previously when it was missing and subsequently located out in the open. Today we are back again with a grandkids (school holiday duties) and this time it was a quick find with Audrey spotting the container. This wasn't where I had expected to find it and it certainly was not in this location last time we looked. Thanks to Cherryslice88 for the cache.

Tuesday and its ANZAC Day. Steve and I headed for a T5.0 and a few other caches. The weather was perfect. Blue sky, sun and warmth and no wind.
We stopped here to do the Virtual cache but grabbed this one on our way past. No problems finding it and the container had a cute appendage. Smile

**Thank-you to Cherryslice88 for placing this geocache**

Out and about early on Anzac Day and with little traffic around, I managed to grab the last 8 remaining LGA's in Victoria I needed.

Next stop on my LGA tour and once parked, I took a walk through the area to GZ. Spotted a likely area and after moving the camo, the neat little cache was in hand. Log was signed, cache replaced and then I had a look around the area while walking back to the car. Always interesting to read the headstones.

Thanks for find Cherryslice88. Cache all good and a fav point for the naming and the hide.

I looked for the mouse in his upstairs apartment, but didn't find him there. Where else? Yep, i should have started looking there first. TFTC.

I was a little worried as I approached GZ as the bad men had been very active pruning, but little mouse was still safe and sound in the house.

Thanks Cherryslice88 for the cache.

After a few hectic days, it was nice to spend some time at this very peaceful location. With no one around it was easy to collect the traditional and virtual caches here.

The cache was quickly located, as there was only one obvious hiding place. All in great condition.

Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache cherryslice88

Out for the day with ahomburg and Earthbound Chief. We decided some caching was, of course, in order! We searched the map, looking for an area we all had a lot to find.

Earthbound Chief wanted to come here to see a particular war hero’s grave, and we made short work of this cache while here.

Thanks for the caches and puzzles we have had fun solving, Cherryslice88

We found Little mouse little mouse on a sunny, spring Sunday sojourn.
aHomburg led the way here and had the cache in hand before any us had begun. The Chief meanwhile wandered off the visit with Pompey Elliot, Australia’s greatest fighting General

Thank you Cherryslice88 for placing this cache so we could come and enjoy.

I had some time in the area between obligations, so searched out a few local caches.
After the find near the gate, I strolled up the hill towards this one. Nobody about here, so I was able to make a circuit at GZ and find the mouse house.
The appendage was not visible, as the mouse was further into its little house, but I was able to coax it out with a natural extraction tool.
The log was a little tricky to extract from the container, but with a little jiggling I soon had it signed.
Popped the little mouse back with its appendage visible, but body well camouflaged.

Not going to lie - it’s rather spooky being in a cemetery by yourself
If it looks like poo it probably is
I know people do geocaches that looks like poo but how does a dog poo or whatever large animal did a poo at head height in that gap I don't want to know. Always touch poo looking stuff with a stick first - phew

It was very quiet in this vicinity today. Only the occasional person walking around as I closed in on GZ. Now where would a mouse hide? Oh! there.
Thanks Cherryslice88, another of your caches ticked off.

My mum used to take me walking through cemeteries to learn about local history back home, and I’ve always loved piecing together stories based on what you can read in the gravestones. I haven’t done it much since I moved to Melbourne but I’m grateful this cache got me out on a history walk to multitask in my lockdown exercise hours. Thanks for another great one Cherryslice88

After a big day of caching in Melbourne we made this our last find before turning back around and heading for the Westgate. What a great view from this historic cemetery, a pity its only benefited by the living.
Thanks for bringing us here Cherryslice88, we too enjoy a wander around old cemeteries, morbid it is not.

With the Covid restrictions easing slightly on Friday and the fine weather we finally decided to look for this cache today. The geobeagles love wandering through cemeteries. Maybe it's because of the food that people of some cultures, like Buddhism, leave on the graves of their loved ones. Food is irresistible to beagles. Hopefully it wasn't the bones because we passed many cracked graves, tons more than other cemeteries we have been to.

Being a public holiday it was easy to get a parking spot inside the cemetery. Thanks to the spot-on co-ords we easily found the cache tucked away in its hiding spot and signed the log at 3:45 pm. TNLN. We then returned the cache to its hiding spot. We used hand sanitiser before and after finding the cache.

Thanks Cherryslice88 for the well-hidden cache in an interesting cemetery with great views. Of course, we took a few photos of the geobeagles while we were there. We were a bit perturbed by the number of graves that were in disrepair. We were surprised by the number of people we met who were walking their dogs through the cemetery. Maybe they were using it as a shortcut to the nearby Gardiners Creek trail.

Found the little mouse house quite quickly.
Thanks for bringing me to this interesting cemetery Cherryslice88. Have lived fairly close by for quite some time and never ventured here before.
