DNF. Searched for half an hour but will come back another day to try my luck again.
After squirming around in the bush for 20 minutes didnt find it. Also very over grown to difficult to see anything.
My geodog Scruffy wanted to look for some caches, so I thought "why not?"
So we decided to head to Brisi and do a few Labs & other types as well.
All Good .. TFTC ..

Found one of the scariest spiders I’ve come across in a long time and a little rat who was happily hiding until I uncovered him.
But no cache. It didn’t help that a muggle and his dogs were all of a sudden nearby playing while I was searching however so I decided I needed to leave this one for another day.

What a surprise to find this area being regenerated. Took a while to find the cache, but we eventually found it in the first spot I looked at. Thanks TeamARF
Out this way today with Willis007 and Chamad for some caching. While doing the AL, this was nearby. We enjoyed walking through the community garden. Tftc
Out on a great caching day with Kolour and chamad, we had a couple of target caches on the radar, and collected some others along the way.
While working on the AL, Kolour and I headed to this cache as we hadn't found it before.
As others have before us, we looked at the wrong thing for a bit, I then turned my attention elsewhere and quickly found what we were looking for.
Thanks TeamARF for the cache.

Thanks TeamARF for the cache.
We thought initially that this was a private garden but after looking at the map it appeared to be a park that's been subjected to some guerrilla gardening. Cute. Found the cache after looking for a few minutes in a more obvious but wrong box.
I pulled in and answered the AdLab question. I was about to look for the cache when someone else pulled up. So I headed up the road and found the other cache first and came back later for this one. I enjoyed wandering around the lovely little garden. Some passionate people have been working hard here. Thanks for the cache TeamARF!
Great one with the kids! Loved the little secret garden hadn’t been there before!
We have looked for this cache before and failed, today we returned with new vigor, again we were about to call it quits and return to the car when hubby noticed a clear sign that there may be a cache beneath a certain item. Lo and behold there was. SL TFTC
Off to Ms Maddy's Event not far from this area then decided to make a day of caching. Doing a great AL and another few caches. Patrol14 followed us - RoddyC, Hatzofff and me to pick up these caches. Found a park in a community garden and a short walk along a path to find the cache. Cache found and log signed before replacing as found. TFTC
After attending Ms Maddy's event earlier in the day, I have teamed up with RoddyC, hatzofff and Imbunda. Working out way through a few Ad Labs and picking up a few caches along the way.
I am impressed by the number of street libraries and stalls out in this area and the one nearby was quite impressive. Made our way to GZ where we found the cache. Signed log then returned as found.

Out today after the planned event to catch some smiles in the area.
We had stopped here as part of the AL and had alook around. Not as exciting as the precious WPs but interesting. We met a volunteer planting bean seeds while here with her puppy.
We headed down the roadway and did a circle back to our parked vehicles.
Travelling and cachingvwith RoddyC Imbunda and Patrol14.

After Ms Maddy's Event, it was off to find some caches.
We parked in the composting area, then managed to find a track down to the cache. All good here.
Log signed and cache replaced as found on 9th October 2022. TFTC, TeamARF

Out for a quick pedal to round up and AL and a few strays along the way. Got lucky with a quick find here thanks.
Such a beautiful little spot, really cool find. Took a little while probably because we're newbies.
After completing the Ad Lab, it would have been rude to ignore this cache…
So I found a cache, which contained Ms Maddy’s replacement log… I couldn’t see the log Crew153 found though…
After making my mark, I returned the container in an upright position to try and keep the water out…
You’d have to assume the locals know the cache is here… tftc…

Finding an easy park close to the cache was a problem so I parked in a street about 200m away and strolled back down the hill.
I strolled around as the GPS jumped to different spots and then spotted something out of place and moved it to expose the cache. The cache was sitting in a puddle and the log is saturated so I took a phone of it as proof.

A quick find here but log is papier-mâché ?? But it’s Arfie’s so back to the car for a replacement. All good now ??

Haa what a find! Found it first look as we got here. Definitely in need of some TLC as the log inside is paper mush.
Having completed a nearby adventure lab I was now collecting a few caches from the area. By the time I got here it just going on dark; night fall happened so quick one minute I’m looking around in the dusk and the next it is pitch black. So back to the car for a torch was the plan. The phone light was not bright enough, but as I started to head back and as I am walking out I spot something a little odd and sure enough it was the cache. Funny thing is I walked straight past it on the way in.
So happy to get this one under these wet and dark conditions. Log was unable to be removed from the container as it was stuck to the inside and very wet. Have a pic if required. Thanks for the cache, it may require a new log and a small plastic bag as there was nil inside the container.

Second time here and this time I made the find. The log is very wet but the gardens are inspiring
Thank you for this one

This evening, it was the publish of the *Little Library Lab* Adventure Lab that provided the motivation in travelling to Mount Crosby and Karana Downs. It had only been a couple of weeks since we had heavy rains, and there were signs warning that Colleges Crossing was impassable ahead of me, but nevertheless, the Adventure Lab Locations were visited, and I returned back home without issue.
I was previously here in November 2021 when I had a good and decent search of this cache, but unfortunately, even after diligent searching, I couldn't find any sign of this cache, despite the CO's ongoing assurance that the cache was still in play. Well fast forward a few months, and as it turned out, and as it turned out, it seemed like the cache was missing after all. The CO did provide me permission to log this cache, but I knew I would be in the area again another time to properly find this cache.
Fast forward to tonight, and after completing the nearby Adventure Lab, I thought I would take the short drive to this geocache. Unlike my last visit, I managed to find this cache reasonably quickly. The cache container was in good shape, but unfortunately, the logbook was quite wet and soggy, so it was difficult to extract it and sign. I suspect its position may be more susceptible to collecting the water. Otherwise, it was good to have converted the frown to a smilie today. Thanks TeamARF for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

This hide is still causing issues for punters. Will review and decide if to shelve, or not.
There has been lots of planting and mowing going on here. I had a look around but couldn’t spot anything
Today, I headed out to Lake Manchester to join georode on a kayak expedition. That adventure involved a 2 km return on foot (and kayaks on wheels) hike, and a 7.5 km paddle, with the trek up the hills the most tiring.
Following the kayak morning, I returned back via a few stops in Mount Crosby, Karana Downs, Anstead, Moggill, and Bellbowrie. An hour was spent taking a hike to where eagles soar, and a stop at Anstead Bushland Reserve's quarry was pretty cool and a favourite of the day.
I was hesitant and concerned about finding this cache today, after seeing the many, many DNFs that had accumulated here. I parked nearby at the community garden / composting area, of which was probably my favourite part to this area. I took a trip down to GZ, and then commenced my search. Quite a few ideas ran through my head, but I continued to look around and follow where the coordinates were taking me. During my hunt, I managed to read every successful find log hoping to get some hints of inspiration, and by the end, I suspect I was in the right few trees, and even had the right idea to what the camouflage was. However, even searching up and down and from different angles, this cache still alluded me today. There were reports of this cache braking up / fallen away, so is this cache still together? Otherwise, I think this cache feels more on the 4.0 difficulty stage than just 2.5, so maybe the difficulty could still be heightened? Thanks anyway TeamARF for the cache placement.

Couldn’t find, not sure if it has been removed as part of a recent clean up and replant in the instant vicinity
We accept that this cache IS here. We are not newbies, they may have better luck than us as they may not have preconceived ideas. We have spent over an hour here and the only thing we saw was 1 spider. We went to where GZ was according to our Montana gps told us to look. Nothing. We then read the logs and one mentions it is not a gum or wattle tree, we did not discount these but we did look a lot harder at other trees, nothing.
Will we return, maybe after we see that it has been found.

Cache is there for those wishing to do more than a boys look.
Have increased the difficulty rating as some newbies are having difficulty in finding it!!

Searched around the area. Saw a few places that could have been hiding spits but no cache.
Cache is in place when checked a few weeks ago. Some maintenance will be undertaken.
You'll have to look a bit harder to find this cache . . .
If there are more DNFs, will think about increasing the D rating.

This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 28 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

Not here couldn’t find it after looking around the area thinking that it’s been stolen
The good news is that I found it... less good is that it was not in prime condition. Sadly, the rain or a possum perhaps seems to have caused the plug to decay. The log seemed just OK and I arranged it all for safety on the way out, but I guess it’s going to need some attention, I fear.
It's 19:00 and was a sad DNF fir pauljkelly92 and I. We followed the clues and looked low. Another day
Can't find this one. phone seemed to lock to a location, but my eye isn't as dialed in. Thank you.
Working in the street there so great opportunity to grab this one again. Phone was moving me around a bit initially then eventually pin pointed area. Found dry but log sheet breaking up very fragile could do with replacement but had no replacement and suggest to bring tweezers so you can remove lid delicately. Tftc
Found on my way home from work. I'm not sure how long the cache will survive as the lid was quite wet and difficult to get out, the log is also very damp. Tftc
Almost didn't see the wood for the trees. Log damp because of the lid. It was dry enough to write on though.
It took a while and I understand why this has so few finds, I'm thinking not enough people are logging their DNF.
Of course with the heavy tree cover pointing me 5-8 metres from GZ, and a micro to look for, I made this a D2-2.5; and with the my elegant approach, maybe a T2.37
With the stretch of my search the cache was found , very happy after spending 20 minutes in many wrong places.
Truth be told, I was very happy to find this tricky little cache after a 3 month hiatus.
Thanks for breaking the drought

We are finding select caches that BC has not found.
Found after a short search.

Today I am aiming to top up a date on my calendar.
And I brought Grand_Poobah along for the ride.
There are only a few caches in the area I have not found so it was a very selective caching day.
And quite a bit of driving.
A quick find today and I thought I was going to be here awhile like the last time. [^]

What! this cache has been here for nearly 4 months and only has 7 logged visits? I know Snugglepot and Cuddlepie like a quiet life, but . . . . .
I must have spent hours looking for the previous version of this cache, and this one had me wandering for quite a few minutes, with the GPS telling me it was 7 metres over there, then 7 metres back this way and so on. Finally the dreaded hide revealed itself. Extracted the log which was a bit damp, added my name "G.M" on the tiny log roll, and replaced it carefully. TFTC, TeamARF.

Out with IolantheK today clearing up a few caches in the are. This was being very elusive. We had to go in and out of the trees to get a true GZ. Eventually, I kept low and discovered a very clever hide hidden among it all. TFTC
Out for a few hours this morning with Nurseyjulie First we took a walk to grab a few caches that I hadn't done, of which Nj only needed one, and now it's time for a bit of a road trip to grab a few caches that I needed, evening up the scores with a few extras for Nj along the way [^]
I think I've been to a cache in this exact spot before... This one sure took some finding, and Nj made the find. We needed an extra tool to get at the logbook. TFTC, TeamARF.

Very cute find, the lid was broken. Had to replace with a new container. Safe with its guardians
Enjoyed the process of finding this one.

Thanks for an excellent geocache. The clues from the Vegan Cachers helped a lot as we were looking in all the gum trees at first then the wattle trees, not exactly the correct place.
The comment about pushing aside the foliage really helped.

After a busy caching day yesterday, in the company of WallabyTim & KaleidoscopeCass, and a late night (after midnight) we managed a nice sleep in this morning.
Upon waking & checking our geocaching devices (you probably call them mobile phones but ours are used more for caching) we realised this cache had been published not long after we retired & was still unlogged as found.
Hmmm, 10 a.m & a possible FTF still available?
What is the world coming to? LOL …
There was a short debate as to whether we would take a shot at it as it was about 28.9km away as the crow flies which in real terms translates to 59.2 km via the quickest route.
Surely someone will take a crack at this before we manage to get over there?
Ah, what the heck, it's a nice day, our calendar is empty today & the day is almost half gone, let's trust in the caching Gods & go for it!
It was a pleasant trip to Karana Downs & we were soon parked within metres of where the compass was telling us we would find GZ.
A couple of quick circuits following an erratic compass, possibly courtesy of the tree cover, revealed little that was promising & as I stepped back, scratching my head in slight bewilderment, I spotted something that warranted further investigation.
Parting the foliage with a stick I spotted …
… a very cute little male ringtail possum staring out at me.
What a great cache guardian!
He casually made his way to a more lofty perch & kept a wary eye on proceedings as I went about my third circuit, determined to find the cache!
Mrs VC exited the Geo-Beast & hobbled over on her crutches to give assistance & it was then that my two remaining brain cells aligned & something in the description matched another little something that I had spotted out of the corner of my eye.
Taking a few backward steps & peering into the greenery I did indeed spot something that nature had definitely not positioned here yet there were no obvious signs of a log or actual cache container.
As I looked about in confusion, trying to make 1 & 3 add up to 2, I spotted a small object that was out of place where it lay, all forlorn & lonely, amongst the litter on the ground.
Picking the object up I noted that, as small as it was, it did indeed contain a log which turned out to be quite difficult to retrieve as the 'bung' holding it had been pushed inside the container & didn't want to come back out.
Now I know the description stated that 'the boarder does not want to travel too far from his bed' but this is taking things a little too far.
A dim light now began to shine deep in the dark recesses of my mind, where my two brain cells were desperately trying to communicate with me.
Aha!
A revelation!
A moment of crystal clarity!
The possum was NOT the cache guardian but more likely a local who was launching an attack on this strange interloper.
I now realised that when I first noticed 'Poss' he had actually been right at GZ, possibly in the act of investigating this strange new presence.
It was only my approach that caused him to move further afield.
Hmmm, the plot thickens!
However, I digress.
Back to the cache, made our mark & positioned the container with the cache structure & notified the CO of my suspicions & actions.
About to leave, I looked around for the possum to admonish him for his destructive ways but he was now nowhere to be seen.
???
Perhaps this is a case of competition between Mem Fox & May Gibbs with a little Possum Magic attempting to move Snugglepot & Cuddlepie along?

Have a favourite point for a great little cache & for luring us out for this most interesting adventure.
Now we're here we might as well keep on caching! LOL ...

Congrats to Vegan Cachers (VC) for a FTF.
VC advised that a furry cache guardian 'The Poss' has taken a liking to HATGT2. This may account how No 1 went missing . . .
The log is still available for signing for those that want to come and grab it. Will see how much damage has been made to the hide.
