26-Sep-23
Would love to head back here and camp some time! Home-base is way out east at higher altitudes so its possibly the first time travelling through here but when youre on a multi mission all roads lead to caching! Taking the long road to Mildura to meet up with geobuddies chasing a few LGAs too and apart from that its been interesting too. TFTC AND THE FUN!

30-Jul-23
A quick drive by to check out the camping site before heading to our usual stop! Woomelang is our favourite place! TFTC

28-May-23
Another interesting spot we visited in town today and it was nice to enjoy a short drive around town taking in some sights and a few caches to boot, probably the quickest of our finds in Woomerlang so far and it was quickly located and logged after a short wander from the car park. Thanks again sparra0609 for the hide.

26-May-23
Over in Woomelang to replace another cache up near the old railway station. So we thought we would check on this cache at the same time. Its all good to go. Its all nice and dry and still in the right spot. Log-book and swaps are all great and this cache is ready to be found again, by good lookers. Thanks & Cheers. The CO.

Love the paintings on the tank not so keen on the giant spider that is protecting this Geo, wriggly sticks don’t bother me, but spiders this size do…. Thanks for placing this in a tricky position to get to do

Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".

So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.

**Thanks to Sparra0907 for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

In the area preparing for upcoming harvest had a short drive in the district. What a great camping/picnic area. Not being suitably attired to venture anywhere, decided I could cautiously advance safely the short distance to cache (wary of wriggly sticks).
Cache in good condition.

Catching up on logging. After spending a week in Adelaide then driving to Lascelles yesterday we set off bright and early this morning as we had a wonderful day of Silo Hunting and Street art discovering ahead of us! Wow this town is amazing I LOVED all of it!! The Water tank paintings are gorgeous and my mind was blown with the iron art - it is incredible!! We did a lap of the lake then found the cache.

Day #8 of the Birthday Bush Bonanza. It’s a miserable day weather wise across Victoria so a great day for some driving. I packed up camp early and said goodbye to the others. Today is about ticking some LGA boxes and hopefully filling another Ausmer spot on my grid.

There were a couple of caravans camped near here, but not enough to impede retrieving the cache or admiring the artwork.

Thanks Sparra0907 for the cache and for contributing to the game.

09-Oct-21
Should have been easier than it was, as I was looking at it without seeing it. Also checked out the 2 field bin art pieces while I was there - love Jimmy Dvate's birds.

09-Oct-21
Mr Morris has a few weeks off but with border restrictions we thought we'd do a slow lap of Victoria while we had some good weather. With the van in tow we didn't try and stop as we travelled.

After 3 nights in Brim we headed to Woomelang for a couple of nights. After setting up camp at the fabulous free camping spot in town with power and showers we rested for a bit and then walked around town collecting the 4 caches.

A good spot for all the campers that missed out on the one in town. Love all the ironworks around the dams.

After my usually busy Christmas and Boxing Day I was able to hit the road for a 1 week break which I was looking forward to and I had plans on where I was going to.
Then a couple of muggle friends suggested we head away together and my plans changed for the first time.
So we had a trip planned to NSW and all was going great.
Then our plans were changed with what was happening in NSW so we picked a spot on the map and that was Hopetoun.
The silo art up this way is something that we had been looking at for a while so now we had our trip planned.
Came up through Nullawil and Sea Lake to see those silos then headed west to start the silos that I haven’t done yet and we stayed at Hopetoun for a few days to visit the rest of them.
It was time to head towards home but I was recommended to call in at Woomelang to check their art so I headed back this way.
This was my first stop and I was able to avoid the rain and go for a walk around this great spot.
The iron work art was great and the tanks looked fantastic.
The campground is one for the memory bank for a latter day.
Thanks Sparra0907 TFTC

Find # 9236

Seeing as we can now "Go for a weekend drive", sharkiefan came up for a visit and the plan was to go out and do the silo trail Adventure lab.

So heading home we decided to make a couple of stops for a few caches.
Hmmm a free camp area..... might be a good place for a stop after a long day caching....

We're staying at the Woomelang Caravan Park for a few nights while we decide which way to travel next. After we ate the rather tasty burgers we had bought from the local convenience-and-everything-else store, I decided to go for a walk to check out the area and to find a few caches while I was out.
This area looks like it would be lovely if only we had a little more rain. The Cronomby Tanks are looking a little low these days.

Thanks for find #1747

*Cache find # 10555.*

Day 4 of my road trip with biggles1024 and today was time to head for home with only one task remaining for the return trip but also we were stopping at random caches along the way to break up the trip and to get different LGA’s along the way.
This town was a target as it was in a particular LGA that Mark was needing a find in.
As this one was just down the road from the last find, we decided to have a look for this one as well.
We headed over to GZ and Mark was onto this on quickly, log was signed on we were on our way.

**Thanks to Sparra0907 for placing this cache.**

Suscoe left home bright and early this morning.
Our destination was Ouyen via Underbool.
Lovely blue skies, pleasantly warm temperatures as the day passed and quiet roads.
Oh, and some really interesting caching locations and hides along the way.

Thanks to Sparra0907 for this hide.
All good here today, the place was so empty of any humans except for us.

When we travel, our route is planned largely by our passion for caching and the number of green/orange icons on the map which hopefully will become smiley tokens when we reach our destination. This is one of the interesting caches we found today as we travelled from The Bellarine to Ouyen.

Thanks 'Sparra0907' for adding this cache to the gameboard.

We were really surprised when we arrived at this location. The first thing that we noticed were the superb murals created with metal. The colours and shapes of each of the metal pieces were combined with great artistic flair to create great images. Even the frames on each of the murals were created with the same skill. We enjoyed wandering around taking in each of the scenes. Oh, yes - there was a cache too. Accurate coordinates and a logical hide led to a quick find. the cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Sparra0907 for bringing us to a great location and for the cache. It earns a favourite for the location.

12-Nov-19
Looking at heading up this way only to be told "we've found those, they are probably more that you haven't logged". As it turns out, that is exactly what has happened. I was caching with Papi4506 who has thankfully mentioned me in his log so I know I was present at this find. I have also logged it on the day of the find from his logs. Thank you for the cache and huge apologies for not doing it earlier.
