We continued today our tour of several AUS states in the NorthWest and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.The weather was - said in one word simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood. The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging. Thanks to MrsRoosta for the generation of this nice cache Apex Riverside camping (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they happened.Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood. Our first task for the day was to drive to Winton in the hope of making a find so that we could add the Winton LGA to our list. There were a number of caches along the way, this being one of them.Accurate coordinates and an obvious hide location led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks MRS Roosta for the cache.
Found at 3:13 PM GAFF1.We are camped at the Apex Park and it darn hot. Had to run the air conditioner when we arrived just to have lunch in some sort of comfort.Headed off to do some caches that weren't going to make us melt in the sun and stopped to do this one which was not expected to be there considering the wonky state of the sign! Thanks to Jimmyproject
Wazza and the Wench are touring QLD for a couple of weeks. Driving from the coast out to Longreach then, without a definite plan, driving back to the coast.Today we're driving up to Winton for the day.
