Found while in Mildura. And staying sooooo close too. Many thanks Mebclever for providing this game piece for our enjoyment.Greetings from Tatura, Australia
Even when I knew what I was looking for, it still took me longer than I'd like to admit. Nice hide.
Another find for hubster today. We had started looking on the wrong side of the track. Much better hing spot to be between the gum
Enjoying the walk around the river, nobody around either so no trouble finding the cache.TFTC TNLN
When we returned to the nearby caravan park where we were staying Mrs B & I decided to get a bit of exercise with a short walk along this trail and "surprise, surprise" there are caches to be found. This was one of only two we could find while on this walk.TFTC
Up in Mildura with LittleBoss2, Geo the puppy for a week of caching and golf. Today was a quieter day than yesterday where we managed to almost complete the Paddle Steamer series. Today we introduced a couple of Octogenarian friends to our game who completely outdid us in their ingenuity to solve various clever caches in this town with more than its share. This was thankfully a quick find with the accurate coords and a well placed container. Thanks for bringing us here where Geo loved a swim at each location
A week away geocaching in Mildura with Bogonghazy, Sorceysal and Geo dog. Thanks for placing the geocache
Out enjoying the walking track and finally found just hanging around. Sometimes you look and just dont see Tftc Mebclever
Our last day in Mildura as it is time to move on. We had a quieter day as w2e collected a few caches in the area and paid a visit to the Botanic Gardens. It has been great visiting the area and caching widely. Our thanks to all the COs for a very positive caching experience. Lots of fun gadget caches and good containers and some challenging hides.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Mebclever.**SKI Pair****
We found your cache today 8 May 2024 3:38pm , while enjoying another day in our beautiful countryside. TFTC Mebclever
Nice to find this little cache as we enjoy our walk along the river. We noticed the flood marker heights. Hard to imagine a raging torrent it mustve been after looking at the peaceful river it is today.
Found on our afternoon walk. My height did not help in trying to retrieve cache, but found a way. TFTC
Quick find on a wander along the lake after driving from Narranderrs.

After looking on the wrong side of the track for a while, I soon awkwardly retrieved the cache.
We replaced this one in a likely spot based on co-ords and previous logs. Found with Joolay, Nibletricecakes, Kittykatch and Albida33. TFTC.

I joined a group of Canberra cachers to tackle the caches around Mildura. Following all the recent DNF's, we had a good look and could not find the cache. So new container and logbook placed appropriately at GZ. Hope it was okay to do some maintenance. Thanks for the hide Mebclever

Day 5 of our Mildura Madness run and the gang is all here ??. Really looking forward to looking around.

No sign of this one today after the floods so have done some community maintenance. Now good to go
Having finished the Paddlesteamer (and many other great caches) it was time for some of our crew to start the trek back home. Caching today with a smaller crew - Joolay, KittyKatch, Albida33 and GLISS! Continue to by impressed by the vast open scenery and beautiful waterways. Thanks for all the hard work from COs make and maintain these caches. Thanks for a great weekend everyone. Thanks for the cache.

Southern Autumn adventure Day 55. Mildura Paddle Steamer Trip Day 4. The final day with my Canberra friends in Mildura rolled around. Today the team was five of us, Nibletricecakes, Gliss!, Kitty Katch, Joolay and Albida33. We set ourselves to visit caches spread out around town and some short riverside walks. There was quite a bit of rain, so some of the riverside drives were not an option. It turned into another long day, but some of the multi's we managed to complete were very satisfying. There was also some time for some LAB caches as well.
This short walk along the river was a bit of a concern with some caches not found since before the flood. In the end we found them, but we did replace a few wet logs.
Thanks for the cache Mebclever

Found while out and about in the greater Mildura area during the Tri-State Community Celebration Events and International Geocaching Day weekend. Thanks for the cache Mebclever!
Thanks for the cache. Here on hols without a pen. Thought we’d check to see if there were any about and we were in luck.
The last day in Mildura with BettyBoo3747.
We uncovered the deadly treadlies and road along the river picking up the occasional cache.
Some beautiful views along the bike track, and some good caches too.
The geo-doggies enjoyed their runs and traveling along in the bike trailer too.
We met a few muggle fisher-kids near here, but luckily they went further down the river looking for some beach.
BB spotted this one quite quickly.
Thanks, Robmc.

#18744. Our last day in Mildura on a glorious autumn day. Touring on our bicycles with the doggies in their trailer and enjoying a great ride along the trails near the river between Merbein and Apex Park in Mildura. So beautiful to be enjoying the river scenery and gathering some caches on the way.
A great spot along here, not far from the building I have been looking for several times this trip. The pumping station? with the flood heights marked up the right side, at the entrance to the caravan park. As Rob mentioned we had to wait for mum and 2 little fishing kids to wander further along the track before a quick find was made.
Thanks Mebclever

Took awhile here as the co ords were bouncing all over the place we decided to DNF then a last look and there it was.

The cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.
I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count.
This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and a Samsung S8. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs...
Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.
Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke für den Cache. Gracias por el caché. Bedankt voor de cache. Kiitos kätköstä. Zikomo posungira. Terima kasih untuk cache. Hvala cache. Köszönöm a cache. Nga mihi mo te keteroki. Dankie vir die kas.
Spending a few days in Mildura, joined by the rest of the Goldy clan for a family getaway.
We've been coming here since our first visit in 2008, it's a Goldy family favourite so I'm excited for the opportunity to find a few geocaches here and in some of the surrounding towns.
I'm also looking forward to experiencing some different hides in another state, as all my finds so far have been in South Australia.
I won't be able to get to all the caches due to having other plans with family, family always comes first.
So a high majority of caches on the "to be found" list are ones where I can learn local history and ones that are relatively quick and easy.
I've been primarily eyeing off the turtle series geoart and adventure labs.
I spent forever searching for this one, trying both sides of the walking path but couldn't find it anywhere.
Eventually I spotted it on the ground on a fallen tree branch. That would be why it took so long.
I have moved the cache back onto the tree but I advise the CO to check to see if it could be hidden better.
Put my signature in the log book and returned the cache to another part of the tree.
Signed as "P.Goldy"
Thanks to Mebclever for this cache and series.

I spent most of the time on the wrong side of the track...then I found it while watching someone climb the pump structure and switch it on.
Went for an evening out caching in Mildura today. Took longer than expected, found it on the ground and put it back where I imagined it might go. TFTC!
Took a bit of finding. We think it likely fell down from where it’s original spot...
Found it with the family very good find. Well camoflauged fell down though.
Bison = small keyring tube not the animal. Google it if needed.

Finally!! Ha ha very well camouflaged. We found it by chance with the sunlight shinging on it. TFTC
Man, it was cold last night but eased a bit this morning Decided as I needed some supplies to log these caches along the river. Spotted a family of ducks and ducklings out for a swim
Surprised this cache didn’t put my eye out as I must have wandered past it a dozen times. Nicely camoflauged here.

Well camouflaged, walked past it twice, tweezers came in handy to retrieve log from container. TFTC.
This took a while. But I found it eventually. Well camoed, then I looked at the name. A large nest is extremely close, tracksuit. So care is needed not to disturb. Tftc

After a few days in Mildura with Happy pants, Happy Feet, The Empire, omegaman1971 and Rebel Acts it was time to grab a coffee and grab the last few caches before heading for home. It was a great time away with nice weather and good company. A good time was had by all.
SO - with the prerequisite coffee and car fueled, we headed back to grab the few remaining caches in this area.
Thanks for the cache Mebclever. Appreciate your efforts.
Stamped log and returned as found.

Buuuut there are a few more caches to find in town before I head off. I also needed some snacks for the drive! Thanks for the cache Mebclever.

This was a great opportunity to get away with some caching friends in Mildura. The plan was to hit some of the local trails and geo art. There was many other hides discovered, with some really great containers and hides in the area.
Amazing to see how far the river has risen during the floods, over the various years. Thankfully this was a quick find, it could have taken much longer.
Thanks Mebclever for placing the cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy the find.

Lockdown 3.0. Geocache, sanitise, repeat. Stay within 5kms and no more than 2hrs out and about. This little series suited our needs/covid rules for today. Confession time- we made this harder than it needed to be. Found on third attempt. TFTC. Sanitised and moved on.
Decided to get out and go for a walk this morning and take in some great views along the river, throw in some caches and Bingo you have a great combination. This one lead me astray as l searched the wrong side of the track for a few minutes before resorting to reading some previous logs. Managed to ditch the GPS and used my geo senses and managed to spot the sneaky little hide after a minute or two. Metres seem to be out, try river side of track. Thanks again Mebclever for the hide.
Got it! It was just hanging around. Good camo. Found when staying at the nearby caravan park-
No pen- didn’t sign log, waited to log until visiting again! This time I helped the kids find it- miss 7 was happy to find it...not so happy about the spiders close by!
Happy Easter!

Thank god!
Look in among the tree leaves on the river side of the path.
It’s not for off the path (two steps in).
Thank you for this hide that drove me and doing loads of circles

Hi there Mebclever.
We found your cache **"Ranfurly Bend Walking Track :- Just Hanging Around"** at 9:41:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 24661).
We're staying in Mildura to hunker down over the current Victorian lockdown. On our daily exercise stroll today we decided to attempt some caches around the local area. We found 11 caches & DNF'd 0.
We came back for another look today. Our GPS still says we should be looking on the other side of the track. Luckily we have met up with the CO, and we knew to look on the river side of the track this time.
Thanks for placing this cache here. Over the years, Geocaching has taken us on many adventures and to lots of wonderful destinations all over Australia. Without 'caching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wanderings. 'Caching has also introduced us to a diverse group of like-minded people, many of whom we now call friends.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 7m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Nothing
Thank you Mebclever for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

During half time of the footy I decided to stroll down from the caravan park and grab a couple of close caches. A drifting phone had me searching both sides for a while, and reading previous logs which told me many searched on the wrong side, but I failed to identify which was the right side. Turns out that Sidney Sampson wrote a song about it. Eventually the geo senses took over, I stepped back and assessed what would be the most logical spot. Shortly after that, the cache was in hand.
Thanks Mebclever for placing this Micro Traditional - this is find 1930 for BFMC

I am not sure why this one gives grief.
However it does blend in well. I could see extensive searching both sides of the track. My GPS read 3m on discovery which was pretty good around the trees. Great light around here late today.

Back for another look today. Far too good for us to find. GPS wanders all over the place and map puts us in the open spaces . Next time for us
We have checked this cache out and " IT'S STILL IN ORIGINAL PLACE AND CONTAINER , JUST HANGING AROUND." We have removed the replacement . Happy Caching Everybody.
