Thought Ill have another go. Was here late Feb and early Dec. A cache rated at difficulty rating of 1.5 shouldnt be extremely hard to locate, even with the hint utilised. My second DNF log entry today. Will ask CO Deep_99 for a OM. To confirm whether its still hidden and at its intended GZ. Thanks nevertheless
A Sydney trip for work to Rooty Hill and an hour lunch break was enough to grab a few caches.TFTC Wilbert67
After 30 mins, I gotta end this search as its too well hidden as it was successfully found a few months ago Another time then
Today we headed out to Central Pets & Aquarium at Rooty Hill to purchase some more birds for our aviary, stopping off at Parramatta for an EarthCache to go towards the August “Wheel of Challenges” cache Icon hunt, and also grabbed a few Traditional caches close to the pet shop at Rooty Hill. This was the 3rd of 4 finds for the day.
After finding “Morreau Reserve 3” we walked across the reserve and into the bush for this one. Scratched around GZ like a couple of brush turkeys, and it wasn’t too long before we uncovered the hide and had CIH. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. Now it’s back to the geomobile and off to the pet shop. TFTC Deep_99.

Find #6242
Arrived today for a 4 night stay in Rooty Hill. This cache is the closet to our Airbnb. After settling in we came over for a walk in this reserve. Geohusband claims he is the best cache finder but it was our muggle friend that made the find after a bit of a search. TFTC
Spent some time 'digging around' at GZ, before the cache container was found. It was in a reasonably good condition, considering the way it was hidden.
Too well hidden for me so decided to keep moving to the top of the very cool hill
That took a long, long time. Only reason I found it, is that I put myself in the location of a previous photo and started moving away leaf litter as it had been mostly buried. Great hide. TFTC
OCW MavEtJu today as an escape from the everyday and super happy to be out for a walk. Stomped around like others had mentioned in logs and it was a few metres out by my reckoning. Thanks for placing Deep_99.
It's time for MavEtJu and ziggiau to raid the area. First lot, around Rooty Hill - TFTC!
Another walk through very long grass, spotted it much easier than the last one, very pleasant walk today after my game on the nearby fields.
Took a bit - our phone's GPS must be a little outta whack hehe. TFTC and lovely trinkets as always coco puffs - left for the next person
OCW young morty8888 picking up a batch of caches around the Western Sydney Parklands that have bobbed up recently. Padded around in the long grass, keeping an eye out for joe blakes, and eventually found the prize. TFTC Deep_99.
OCW Oldmorty around the Western parklands on a warm day. This didn't take too long to spot with 2 sets of eyes. TFTC!
Bashing around the bush for a short time until a cache peeked out of its hide! TFTC
With today being a beautiful winter's day I decided to drive out to one of western Sydney's most historic areas for the establishment of the early colony in NSW.
The traffic was light and the petrol was really cheap, 97c/L.
I left the geomobile in a little shopping centre car park across from the reserve. Geodog and I then set off on our walk.
There was not another sole in the park which was somewhat eerie, as this is a lovely big open space. We walked up on the grass until the GPS said we were level with the cache. The grass was really long, I would not like to go through it in summer but today it was OK.
Once near GZ I circled round and round looking for the cache and encouraging geodog to sniff it out. He was no help but I did eventually find the cache.

Headed out west to get my numbers up and close in on an average of 4 finds per day for 2019.
A 50m bush from the road then a 5 minute hunt, before The Bebes spotted it. No snakes! TFTC

Headed west for a few caches today
Another nervous walk through the dry grass.
Plenty of hiding places here and we checked plenty

i looked at every tree and every log and pile of leaves but after 30mins time to walk away.
We cycled around this park from the Western Sydney Parklands. A 50m bushbash. Lucky to finally see it through all the bark that has fallen recently. TFTC

I haven't been caching much lately, been too busy with other things. This has had a benefit that I have a large pool of unfound caches not too far from home, and didn't have much trouble getting my first bunch of clues for the mystery at the museum. This was my first clue cache, after picking up the detective in Strathfield.

Glorious winter's day and pleased to finally find one. A little more open and accessible than #1 TFTC
Was an easy find and easy walking once you got past the initial long grass patch.
YGAT needed a calendar find so we stopped by on the way through. We didn't spot the cache immediately but widened our search a little and suddenly there it was.
Nice one, thanks Deep_99.

This was indeed a very pleasant walk on a lovely sunny morning. Thanks for placing a cache here Deep_99.
We had a nice day riding our scooters around the Parklands, then headed over to this park. TFTC
Enjoyed our scooter ride around the Western Sydney Parklands, and then our walk around this park. TFTC
MrS led us to GZ and spotted the cache first. Our call for spotting the cache when searching as a group is "drop bear" to stake your claim but let the others to continue their search. Well, on our way in today, I had cause to call "dropped bear". Sadly, he was trash, not cache.
Back again in Sydney to help and make life a little easier for my son and today it was time to add a few more smileys to my list.
The first eight finds today all were in parks or children's playgrounds which are not the ideal areas for an ageing Bushfire to be searching in.
So many nano's and micro's in Sydney and I look at my last three hide's back in Geelong that are all large with one being at least two metres high.
Parked on the road and wandered in to the GZ location passing all the old 45's that alnic39 mentioned and then on the return journey I found a huge kitchen knife, what is that doing out here. Removed it and plotted where it was found.
Thanks Deep_99 for showing me an area that I have never been in before today.

Straight over the peak from Deimos, and found fairly quickly. A few old 45's were found warped and dirty on the ground. What a waste of stolen property. TFTC
We parked in a couple of different places to find the caches located in this park area, due to the heat of the day and to eliminate unnecessary distance walking. We were happy to add our name to the list of finders after locating it and replace the container as it was found before moving on to the next one. Thanks go to Deep_99 for these caches.
#5397 (1 of 2 today)
Fathers' Day and a family lunch was planned at Top Ryde. Most enjoyable, and only one Geoson was missing... he's in Canada so I'll forgive him.
Back home mid-afternoon, and I'm after at least two finds today for my Calendar Finds. I also want traditional caches for a challenge cache...
Decided Morreau Reserve was the place to go - two traditionals not too far apart.
Found both. Phew!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
The gate was open, so drove in and picked a spot to start towards my first target.
Got to GZ and started the search. So many possible spots. Checked a few logs - GZ could be out by up to 10 metres. Oh great.
Checked a number of likely hides but nothing. Hmmm.
Interrogated the logs again. Here possibly? I've already checked it - so checked it again. Nope. Double hmmm.
More poking around but came back to that spot again. Gotcha! Just didn't check it well enough. Twice.
Completed signing duties and replaced. Then on my way.
Well, at least my cache senses are in good form today, even if my searching skills aren't.

Had no problems in finding this cache. The cache was found after a short search. The log was signed and then the cache was replaced as found. Thank you Deep_99 for placing this cache.
I had planned on going for a big carving spree today, but with the three unexpected rain I heard to find some more urban caches. I brought my little caching brother along
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
I like that geocache because it was hard and fun at the exact same time. It was fun and the geocache was three times harder than i could hide my one and that's because i am a really bad hider.
Thank you for the cache.
Thank you for the cache.
Great cache. Took far too long to find as we circled around it. Should have trusted the coordinates.

Out with HubbyandMrs to take the new Geomobile for its first adventure.
***End Cut 'n' Paste***
After checking on my nearby cache, wandered over here as these have been placed since I placed mine.
I did more bush bashing than required as I entered the bush too early because I had the wrong zoom on my GPSr, Had Hubby worried he had a stalker. A quick find was made once we got closer. Log signed and replaced as found.
**TFTC**
