What a cool little cache! Love the shape of the log sheet ... haven't seen one quite like this before. TFTC
After finding some caches in the wetlands I continued on in my travels to a couple more. This was a really interesting church that I never knew about. I had a squiz around the back of the tree to admire the bell too, I managed to resist ringing it. Once the coords were calculated I found the cache after a short drive. A nice fresh logbook thanks to the recent maintenance. TFTC!
Another in the series conplete.

I decided to head towards Marion Village tonight to finish off the Adventure Lab series I started a while ago. As I was near this multi, I decided to have a look. It didn't take me long to obtain the information required and with the check sum agreeing with the sums I had (or is it the other way around?), I enjoyed my evening stroll to GZ. A quick find. Log signed as LF79. TFTC Michells&hound
Sparkie and Goldy had to alter our plans due to yesterday's bushfires in the hills.
Instead we went to the Marion area to celebrate Sparkie's 2000th cache find on a cache of her choosing.
A quick multi after celebrating Sparkie's 2000th.
Log book is full here too.

I don’t often visit this side of town. I needed to visit Brighton for my son’s volleyball so I took the opportunity to grab a few caches while I was in the area.
Accurate coordinates made for a quick find.

Today was another family day and we only found a few caches. We started the day with a few Roads that never were, then onto spending time with our family. Then it was time to head back to the caravan so we took a different road home and found a few other caches. The roads were a mixture of dirt and bitumen roads some were smooth some were rough but we managed to find all of the caches we attempted and all where in good conditions. We did 9 trads, 1 multi, 4 puzzles , 1 whereigo and a A/L for good measure. From some of the caches the views were just plain wonderful.

Heading down south, some last minute organisation of things for the wedding we were attending, Mrs frog was getting her nails done near here and we had two hours to pass so a few caches were checked out and this was one of them, collected the required info then strolled down to make a easy find, another off this series off the list

Difficult to get with so many muggles driving around, but soon had cache in hand. TFTC!
I’m halfway through the Marion Village Adventure Lab when this church dazzles me in the afternoon sun. Surely there has to be a multi hereI think, so I revert to the geocaching map and the hunt is on. This one melds nicely with the AL if you are visiting the stations in the same order I did. The idea of Marion as a village is something I’ve never thought of, and it’s a nice area to visit.

Adelaide Trip. May 2021. Day 6. I spent the afternoon between Marion and Brighton today. Plenty of new caches since I was around here last, and 10 Labs to get as well. The nice weather after a few days of rain had the fore shore quite busy, but they did not stop my activities.
It is surprising to see a building that was once so remote even here, still in use and in good condition.

Now staying in Brighton for a few days this morning Mr Felix headed out on his bike to tackle a few caches south of here, once he returned we grabbed lunch and 'the list' and off we set for a full days urban caching. (oh the fear)

Catching up with late logs.
A spur of the moment decision was made to head to South Australia as we had no work on for New Years Eve this year (first time in 23 years) and without any planning and so many unfound caches over here we decided to concentrate on Adventure Lab caches and anything else that popped up nearby.
We have been picking up quite a few of these Used 2B a Church Micro this trip and it has been very interesting. This church could tell some stories if it could talk going from Welcoming life into the flock to now seeing them off on their final journey.
We must have been getting tired here as it took us a couple of tries to sort out a good looking set of coordinates.
Once at GZ the cache was found easy and our name has been added to the log.
Many thanks Michells&hound for the cache and information.
This afternoon/evening, I needed to leave work early and pickup my car from having a service, so I decided to head south-west towards the coast. The grey clouds were forming, but no rain yet, so I did what I could before the weather forced me home. The target were a few adventure labs (including mine!). Various stops were made in Glenelg, Brighton, and finally Marion.
I needed a multi-cache type for today's calendar day, and so in a roundabout way, this was somewhat my target for today. Oh, a used 2B church candidate? Perhaps the CO should change this to the other award winning church series? Acknowledging that the CO placed this geocache prior to the existence of the *Used 2B Church Micro* series. The numbers were collected, and I ended up backtracking whilst doing a few of the Marion tour multi-cache waypoints. A little time later, I made the drive to GZ, where I made the quick geocache find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Michells&hound for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

After browsing at some local shops we decided to do a cache and take the geopup for a walk. We had planned to walk along the Marion Linear trail but decided to do two multi's first.
As we walked up to the second church Mr Crumble reminisced about living in the area as a kid and where he used to live.
We walked down his old street and he saw a neighbour and got chatting. Wow he can chat! An hour later we got to GZ and made a find.
Love the bell in the tree here.
Thanks for an interesting morning.

For some reason I was down South today and I think it had something to do with dropping muggle partner off somewhere and then picking him up later as I vaguely remember him ringing me when I was halfway through a scrub area finding a cache and me telling him he'd have to wait until I found the cache and got back out to the car
Rex and I had a blast and found 6 caches including a trad, a multi, an EC and an unknown cache

Cache #2338. The only one tried and found today.
This afternoon, I went to Seacliff Park for business. After that, I tried this cache on my way back.
Parked on the small lane next to the church. Got the information, and calculated the final location.
Drove to the final location, and found the cache in a classic spot.
Signed one of the log sheet. Placed the cache back when no one was around.

Found on a short bike ride to find caches covering a number of goals: 10 cache finds per calendar day, mystery cache find per day and multi cache find per day.
This cache covered the multi cache requirement and helped lift the calendar day finds. Despite having been here a number of times playing ingress and pokemon I never knew about the bell. GZ is on a regular route and I'd often wondered how to make placing a cache here relevant rather than being a cache for caches sake.
Thanks for the cache Michells&hound.

Found at 11:58 whilst killing some time before visiting Dad. He said not to arrive before the football replay had finished.
I grew up in this area, went to Sturt Primary (now a retirement estate), and spent many an hour hanging around the park near the final, usually doing what our parents didn't want us to do. I didn't spend any of that time in the church, although the happy-clappy church along Finniss St used to be my scout hall

St Ann's Church at Marion is certainly a quaint little building, one which appears to have been a community focus over the years. Data collection for this cache was straightforward. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Michells&hound for the cache and the series.
A Good Friday find on the way home from lunch. Had solved earlier in the year, but when I came to the location previously it was too busy. TFTC.
Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi.
On a late lunchtime caching run and this was in the area and the last one for the day. Drove to the area and parked across the road on a very busy road. Wandered over and gathered the first lot of info then round the corner to gather the second lot and assembled the coordinates and the checksum agreed. Surprised at the location but it must be correct unless I made 2 mistakes that cancelled each other out. Rechecked and no, numbers correct. A short drive to GZ, park nearby and wander over to GZ again on a real busy road. Finally traffic cleared and located the cache in the first place I felt. Signed the log and had to wait for traffic and muggles to disappear before replacing the cache. Not sure, but I think this might be a Used 2B.

After working 1/2 a day Saturday. The rest of the day was given over to doing some multis with a few puzzles thrown in as i was passing the finals. found on the return part of the trip. Headed north after work, now heading home. quick solve and then off to the final for a quick find.
Out for an afternoons caching on a 40 degree day - which tends to keep the muggles away. Grabbed the required information and then found the cache in the first spot I looked - bonus! Had to wait a few mins for a break in the traffic to replace it. Log signed.
A quick education on a little local church history.

Have updated the details as the Chapel has now been taken over by funeral directors. Thanks Aussie Mary for the image of the new sign. Sorry for the delay in updating it completely slipped my mind until DISK logged.
Stopped on the side road here, so quickly put together the second set of numbers [8], before looking for the first. As others have said, the front sign has been changed , so a bit of Googeology (and detective work), had us at the right spot on our second attempt [:o)].

Find number 3 for mogni and Aussie Mary today. Unfortunately we could only do half of this cache as the Church is now no longer a Church, and its details relating to the South questions were gone. We messaged a previous finder, who kindly supplied the South answers, and we were easily able to find the answers for the Eastern coordinates so off we headed to the end point.
An easy find there. A photo of the new information at GZ was supplied to the CO, by Aussie M & M at an event later in the day, so hopefully, we will be the only 2 cachers confused by the new business here.

While only a few suburbs away the Starfish's phone went ping. After two more caches the team decided to try for a FTF and Owl managed to convince them not to stop on the way, though the Starfish was equally convinced that the FTF would already be gone. He was half right, as while they were calculating GZ they were joined by JJ52, who informed them that she'd just collected FTF on the cache up the road. Resisting all temptation to steer her in the wrong direction, forces were joined and a joint *FTF* was claimed at the nearby cache at 12.17pm. Thanks for the fun!
On a cold and wet Tuesday a menagerie of animals from the Puzzled Puzzlers set out for another day of seeking previous un found caches and many others that were still on the "to find" lists.
Today saw the Owl, Rat, Starfish and Adder traipsing many of the southern suburbs of Adelaide whilst trying to avoid the cold drizzle from the heavens.
A joint Gold podium finish for the group after a few mathematical calculations by the Owl.
Thanks for another in the series, although we doubt we will get another podium finish with any of these. We got the "ding" from our notifications whilst on the other side of the suburbs so a FTF was not expected.
Calculations done and an appearance from JJ52 just after the log was signed. Looking forward to the others to be published. TFTMC
