We stopped by to check on this one while out walking this morning ...it is broken so have brought it home to repair
#5232- Another easy cache in the Harry Potter series with thomo31 before heading home to the mountains. Thanks
Found with WaywardWoman while caching in the area. A quick find
Signed log and returned as found. TFTC

Found early on a beautiful Wednesday morning. Love Harry Potter so this series is exciting. This cache was brilliant. Almost lost the magic but found quite quickly once caching instincts kicked in. No sign of any magic or muggles today. Thanks
Just did the park run at the ponds and now some caching in the area and slowly make my way towards Liverpool. Once there it's back on the water!
For now here it was a quick and straight forward find.

On a rather warm day I was out cycling in this area. I was now heading back home, choosing a route that had one or two caches along the way.
Nobody was out in the heat, except yours truly. So it wasn't much of a struggle to get to GZ and have a good look around. No muggles here today. Something else on one of the other trees caught my attention first, and I thought I had spotted the hide. Alas, it wasn't what I was after, but shortly thereafter I saw my prize.
Name added to the log sheet and then everything put back as found.

Was getting ready to leave but started playing with a different tree and surprise had CIH
This was not really a difficult cache to find. Actually the attachment was spotted before we arrived at the cache. Found the container and noted two more names on the log. Only then did we head back where we had come and call it mission accomplished. Thanks go to Sensible shoes, Shoes Junior and Little Shoes for placing and maintaining this cache.
Came along here with goingplaces2 to pick up some of the Harry Potter themed series of caches. Found this one OK, signed log, job done. TFTC.
found with the geo fam while tracking clues to solve the mystery at the museum thanks for the cache

A nice quick find and another gem recovered

Tricky one. Not the willow that we were looking for. More like "blood" wood tree. It's right in the middle as well! Pretty well camouflaged and took a while to accidentally find it.
We went on a quick maintenance tour of a few of the Harry Potter caches this arvo. The log for this one has been replaced. All fine with this one now - cache on.
This was a nice walk and a cute and clever little light brush hide. Signing completed, then we worked out our plan for moving forward. Thanks very much for the nice hide!

After finding Hagrid's Wand I came over to Whomping Willow to try and avenge my DNF from a couple of month's ago.
I think I know trees but on both visits I can't see any willows, all eucalypts. I'm sure that's what put me off on my previous visit as I looked at the wrong spot. Also it was raining last time and the GPS pointed me somewhere different to where it suggested I go today.
So today, a much nicer day I was in a different spot and of course, there it was!
Haven't seen one done quite that way before.
Maybe I should have searched longer in the rain last time but then that would have messed up my numbers and this is a numbers game, isn't it?

As I was spending Christmas Day at Sensible Shoes, Shoes Junior and Little Shoes house I obviously had to find their caches while I was in the area. I'm also currently re-reading the Harry Potter books so these caches were of interest.
Found after re-checking a spot I'd already looked.

Found with Coybear2000. We parked nearby and headed to GZ. We started searching but the GPS wouldn't settle. We looked at every potential willow and expanded our search area. Eventually C came up with the goods. Log signed and then we noticed some muggles walking a dog along the path. Once they'd gone we replaced everything. TFTC.
In the area with Trodectus, so parked nearby and walked to GZ. Once there, was presented with a multiple possible cache hides, quick look at the most obvious on the "womping willow" then decided to expand the search area and was surprised when checking possible camo. That's novel. Log signed and returned. TFTC
Think I found it, couldn't open it, so couldn't claim a find.
I'll be back another time.

Had no problems in finding this cache. The cache was found quickly and easily in the first place that was checked. The log was signed and then the cache was replaced as found. Thank you Sensible Shoes, Shoes Junior and Little Shoes for placing this cache.
Last time I was in town, ticked off (unintentionally) eleven Harry Potter themed caches, only to notice a few new ones published the day I drove home. Back for another family function a few months on, made it a point to include them today (other than the two currently disabled which I’ll be back for and hopefully more). Also made it a point to watch the series for the first time and now the names are starting to make sense. Quick find just as the rain started to get heavy requiring a fast dash back to the car.

Afterafter a swing on the nearby rope found the cage pretty easily enjoying the Harry Potter theme thanks for a great case did you iche

Day off, so perfect opportunity for a short walk to get the caches I didn't last week. Drive pass here weekly, but never walked through it. TFTC.
#2223 parked nearby between showers and did the long walk around. On approaching GZ chose 2 likely spots and it turned out my first choice was correct.
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache Sensible Shoes, Shoes Junior and Little Shoes

I had planned on going for a big caching spree today, but with the three unexpected rain I heard to find some more urban caches. I brought my little caching brother along

Decided on another raid into the area I was in earlier in the week. This was the sixth of eight finds before heading home. The first three found whilst completing a loop walk then tackling a number of drive-by's with short walks. tftc
Initially went to a different tree that we thought looked ‘whompy’, but GZ was further away so on we went! Nice one for the kids, not too hard. TFTC Shoes gang!
Yay sevabo found it after we searched a little while anyway thank you for bringing us here on lovely windy day. TFTH

It took a few looks before I spotted it just out of view of the muggles.

Parked nearby (was going to cycle but one magpie attack is enough for today), and made the short walk to GZ. Found the cache in the first spot I looked. A helpful magpie watched on from the other side of the creek as I signed the log. Thanks for another local hide, Sensible Shoes!
Survived the willow hunt but can see this old girl whacking away in its previous young life.
Under the safety of actual muggles learning to ride a bike in the carpark over the road, allowing me the element of not activating the aggression that this one can behold, thanks again sensible shoes clan

On from getting FTF at Hagrid's Wand, and thought I may have a good chance here too. Place was deserted.
Nicely crafted hide here. It should last a fair time.
And thanks for the Nano Winder gift for the FTF.
