Drove past the coolest roundabout tree house sculpture on the way to GZ for our last find today. Quick park and grab for this one and loved the small key inside the cache - magical! TFTC
We are on another short (three day) caching holiday in North Western Sydney, staying for two nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Holidays Avina BIG4 Holiday Park at Vineyard. Planning on exploring the suburbs of Lalor Park, Kings Park, Marayong, Glenwood, The Ponds, Rouse Hill, Scheyville, Agnes Banks, Yarramundi, Hawkesbury Heights, and Castlereagh. Hoping to collect some more previously solved Mystery/Puzzle caches, complete some more Adventure Labs and SideTracked caches, and accumulate some more "units of fuel" for the "Cosmic Quest" souvenir challenge with a view to scoring the 100 point Ultra fuel souvenir. Our final day will have us going via Nurragingy Reserve at Doonside, for some more caching and a visit to the Nurragingy Miniature Railway, before taking the M7 & M2 Motorways back to home. Photos will be uploaded to logs on our return to home base.Today (day 1) we travelled out to Vineyard, going via the M2 Motorway from Delhi Road North Ryde to the Abbott Road Seven Hills exit, then through Lalor Park, Kings Park, Marayong, Glenwood, The Ponds, and Rouse Hill to reach our accommodation. Collected numerous Traditional caches, and a SideTracked MultiCache, that we passed along the route. This was the 13th of 16 finds for the day (day 1), and 13th find of the holiday. This cache was next on our travels, parking the geomobile in Everglades Street, and then heading over to GZ for a nice quick find on arrival. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC Rheneas.Find #6996
Thank you to the person that hid this, this is an easy and fun find and the location is pretty accurate.
A quick find, but a pity I was not here at sunset, to enjoy the scene. TFTC Rheneas
Quick find. Over-thought it at first. Log now full. Needs maintenance. Ty
#7228- Out early to meet up with my friend of 60 yrs for our regular catch up lunch. Time for a few quick caches while in the area. A quick easy find. Thanks.
Me and my sister went on a big walk and found a couple this was one of them, fun find very creative thanks Rheneas!
It was in the pole
At first I that it was part of the pole but then I bravely put my hand inside then detached the magnet then found it

Found after a long hiatus.
The views are definitely gone; nothing is sacred any longer.
Thank you for bringing us here.

After running the nearby parkrun I decided to find some local caches. The park was empty due to incessant rain, and I spotted the likely hide on approach so soon had CIH - TNLNSL TFTC

#3029 Final of eight traditional finds while out completing nearby ALs. Found after a short search. TFTC
Nice, easy find, although we had to be super sneaky as the police were doing an RBT VERY close by.
Certainly no scenic sunsets to be seen from here any more! A straightforward find here after spending some time this morning at Scheyville NP and even newer areas in this burgeoning growth corridor.
Thanks for the hide Rheneas.
Thanks for the hide Rheneas.
Quick find, long walk. Had to poke it out with a stick, the dog enjoyed the walk tho.
Found It!
A quick find here in the second place I looked. I guess it was a nice view before they built all those houses in the way!

It’s very damp and the paper is tearing. Great spot and great camouflage, but the container is rusting and can’t close properly.

Drove to Sydney today to visit Ikea and a few other places, and needing a few more caches for this month’s souvenir, we stopped here on our travels. Nice little hiding spot.

Sydney Feb 21 Trip. Day 2. I joined Fitzy_1965, MinnieK and Tankengine for a weekend trip to Sydney to attend a few Community events and do as much caching as possible. We started with a puzzle series at Quaker's hill in light drizzle. There was then mixed caching and the first event at the Ponds. We headed into town after that and caught up with a bigger contingent of Canberra caches for dinner and a lap of Darling Harbour for caches there. It all got a bit late but it was a great day.
Thanks for the cache Rheneas

Headed up to Sydney with fitzy_1965, albida33 and Tankengine for the weekend attending some Community Celebration events and caching inbetween.
Solved any puzzles before heading away. Signed as MK, F65, TE & A33 to save space and all finds were quick and easy unless otherwise stated.

23,692. Found with minniek, Tankengine and albida33 during a Sydney weekend run attending some Community Celebration Events and generally having a caching good time.
We headed up the Hume this morning with the Quakers Star series in our sights before attending the first of three Community Celebration Events over the weekend. My thanks to my caching companions which made it a memorable trip. After finishing the Star we continued along cherry picking caches until the event was due. This was the next stop of the day. We made a nice quick find here at GZ. Signed the log (mostly F65 MK TE and A33 to save space), replaced the cache as found, then headed on to the next one on the list.
Thanks Rheneas !!

After attending the geocaching event *Australia WWFM XVI - Piece Out at The Ponds* I stayed in the area for a bit more caches. At this dead end street, I found this cache without any problems. TFTC.

had to come get this one, spent the arvo geocaching with hubby and this marked my 50th find. Sat and watched the sunset. Great end to the day.
Came along to do some caching with goingplaces2. Keen to keep the streak going. Found this cache to be a nice easy one to find, so log was soon signed and replaced as found. TFTC.
This one was on the program for the day with while out on the hunt with ilook4geo. It was easy to find while there were builders working across the road and police doing breath testing on the other road nearby. Two more names were written on the log and all was then replaced as it had been found. Thanks go to Rheneas for this cache placement.
I'm sure I've been here before looking for a cache, if not then somewhere with exactly the same view. A lot of development is happening around here so it won't be long before the view is gone. Today it was quiet and GZ is protected from prying eyes by some young trees but once the housing is finished and the trees have grown this could be a very exposed location.
There were two possible locations and of course the cache was found at my second choice. SL and replaced the cache then headed for another.
