Now that cafés are open and we can travel up to 25 km without a reason we decided to have lunch and buy a few plants at our favourite nursery/café in Montrose. After lunch we decided to find our first cache for a long time and this cache was near where we ate lunch.

There were no cars in the carpark or anybody on the nearby oval so we parked in the closest spot and walked the short distance to GZ. As we approached GZ we spotted the cache as it was partially exposed and glistening in the sunshine. There were plenty of spider webs but luckily there were none on the cache or we would have screamed. We signed the log at 3:25 pm and then rehid the cache as found. TNLN. We used hand sanitiser before and after finding the cache to stay safe.

Thanks Byker for the well hidden cache. On our way back to our car we did see plenty of coffee grounds. It's a shame they don't break it up a bit and water it down so it is absorbed into the soil.

Out for a walk and to pick up some caches to fill another day on the caching calendar. While there was a twilight junior cricket match on the other oval they were nowhere near here. After doing the nearby "game set & maze" cache we headed to this one . It was Mrs Pooky who made a relatively quick easy find. TFTC and bringing us to this park.

09-Feb-20
Easy find

19-Jan-20
With no one around it was an easy find in the first place that Iooked.

04-Jan-20
I initially set out to find the game, set and maze cache, but figured it was too deep in the bush and didn't want to raise suspicion on such a hot morning. It ended up being just another short walk and a quick find for a cache closer to the road and car. tftc

21-Dec-19
While the cricketers went for a cuppa l snuck in and found this cache signed and replaced...TFTC

Suscoe was heading homewards today after a delightful few days in the Dandenongs.
It was a pleasant day again with some cloudy skies and a few glimpses of sunshine here and there.
We headed out of the Dandenongs by the northward road and then spent our time caching around Montrose, Kilsyth and Croydon beforeheading home mid afternoon.
It certainly was interesting seeing the Dandenongs from this side and it closed off a wonderful couple of days in a fitting manner.

Thanks to Byker for this hide, the park was very quiet today.

28-Aug-19
We are certainly starting to exhaust the easily accessible caches that are close to home. Hope they don't have a longer streak challenge as we will be in trouble. Thanks for the cache.

27-Aug-19
This was a nice quick find for day 3 of the 7 day streak challenge. The things we do for a virtual souvenir, lol. Thanks for the cache.

Have lived in the area for over 15 years and never stopped to look around this park before. Thank you for the experience.

The hide is not a particular robust. The cache may need to be relocated in the future.

TNLN, T4TC.

12-May-19
I had completed the Mother's Day Classic run up at Lilydale Lake and decided to do a spot of caching on the way back home. Having seen the area was not in use, I stopped for a look for the handful of caches in this reserve. This was the first one and thankfully an easy find though not quite where I was expecting it. TFTC

31-Mar-19
Found on 31 Mar 2019 at 1:40 pm.
The weather was absolutely terrible yesterday and not much better today. Constant showers but I headed out anyway for a few hours. The good thing about the cold and showers ... no muggles made for pretty uninterrupted searches pretty much everywhere. That made up for the bad weather.

I parked in the main park and did all four caches in here today, only saw one dog walker the whole time.
After the last cache had replaced it I looked around for a couple of minutes and then eventually spotted it.
Thanks Byker for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

24-Mar-19
Found. Cache was just laying on the ground so guessing it wasn’t in its proper hiding spot. Have hidden again but not sure if it’s where it originally would’ve been hidden so you may want to check/rehide. TFTC.

2 out of 2 dnf for bykers caches today. Does not make for an enjoyable day caching. Thought would be a quick find before school pickup. Will keep an eye out as tried every (I thought) conceivable place but no luck today. Will keep an eye on this one see if any other people have any luck

We ventured into this park for a few caches after enjoying a Christmas lunch not far away. I then did the other two traditional caches in this reserve before getting permission from the Driver to find this one before heading home. I found the cache on the ground with no camouflage or any covering. I placed more carefully hidden than I found it and was pleased to be able to record the find and bringing us to this lovely, bush surrounded location.

26-Nov-18
Nice find near home. tftc.
