#102! Your caches are awesome AussiePam. Thanks so much as always. Photo as evidence ad many muggles about...
#21034 - 12:38:33 PM; After a couple of nights in the Blue Mountains with the geohoney for a couple of days of R&R, we have now reached Sydney and the last night of our trip. This morning we set off into the city for some breakfast before I headed off to check out the new Metro line. Picked up a couple of caches as I made some stops along the way back from Crows Nest to the city, including this one. All in good order and replaced as found once I signed/stamped the log. TFTC AussiePam
Nice quick find, do note what the description says about what type of cache container this one is and it should be quite simple to narrow down the possible locations. Retrieving this one was quite conspicuous and I did my best to avoid any muggle gazes. TFTC!(Logged under my previous username, 'hjckrau'.)
Keeping it simple with a few geocache finds each day. Havent been to North Sydney for six months so lets start here. My find count: 2229 Thanks AussiePam for giving this cache for everyone to search.
Spent a lot of time looking about 20 metres in each direction around the spot marked on the gps but no sign of a cache
DNF, although was walking around at 9am on a Monday morning with lots of people around. Will circle back soon for a 2nd attempt.
Haha . Found after a small hint from a previous finder . Good to revenge a DNF . TFTC AussiePam
I checked all possible areas without any luck. A very busy area has muggles everywhere. After spending over 10 minutes looking here and there it was time to move on , I started to look suspicious
TFTC!! wasnt sure at first and did a few confused laps of the street before i happened to look in just the right spot! i think a piece of the log paper might be missing as there were only a few names logged and they were from 2022 or may this yr??
Today was wet and rainy day, but that did not stop me and batapus from doing some weekend caching. After doing some soccer at Cammeray, we walked down Merlin st to our first cache. This was cache 3 for todays rainy adventure, this one was a nice quick easy one once we arrived at GZ, I found this one, it was now 2-1 against me and batapus. Anyway cool little cache. Now it was time to walk down the road to find the last 2 for today#141 TFTC!
Found after a lot of poking about hint - its not on the sign so dont be like me trying to pull it apart lol
Checked the back of all the signs but wasnt able to figure this one out, feel like Im missing something obvious lolTFTC anyways
Day 2: Lane Cove and North Sydney
Today’s plan was to strike north of the Harbour for two main reasons: to get the Lane Cove Virtual and to find a Letterbox cache in Sydney. The weather was lovely today, and despite walking almost 25k steps, it really didn’t feel like it, and I return to the city a really happy cacher
(End of the cut and paste section)
Ooh, this was a fun one! I poked around at similar locales initially but it was the last one I checked (typical) that had the very interesting cache. A bit of the leap to link the cache listing and theme to the container, but I appreciate the effort. TFTC’

Finally found it. Unfortunately our phones gave us a reading of 10 metres out , maybe it's because Adelaide is 1/2 hour behind Sydney Anyway happy to add this to our smileys. Thanks Aussiepam for your little hint and placing and maintaining cache.
Out in Sydney for the weekend and was staying around the corner great one loved this good job
I have just arrived back in Sydney. Flight arrived early so time for some caching before meeting friends. I have one like this myself but haven’t used it yet, so didn’t take long to find. Tftc
Out and about with Geoson in North Sydney. Grabbed this cache after a lot of searching. A great cache, it blew me away. Tftc
First find of the new year. A short wander from our digs.
Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.

Very sneaky indeed but muggle hubby came up trumps whilst I was standing next to it looking at previous logs - Tftc
Very clever cache. Second time here. I looked at a different spot this time and came up with the goods
A second visit here to clear a previous DNF, saw us following the GPSr from one side to the other and back again and further examination of various likely places turned up nothing.
In desperation we contacted the CO who gave me a hint and as I was about to tell Mrs A, she came up with the goods.
The log was pretty wet so we took the liberty of replacing it. TFTC AussiePam.

Exploring Sydney today... Another quick find on the way from Crow's Nest to the city...
TFTC!
TFTC!
Nooo not again, 3rd time we have tried and 3rd time we have failed. This one hasn’t beaten us yet and we will be back
Found this one in an absolute torrential downpour tonight. I went in my rain jacket because there’s even too much rain for an umbrella to be practical. Pants and shoes soaked immediately. I didn’t make a quick find here so that made me even more soaked. On the way to my car I slipped over. At least I found the cache! Thanks for the cache AussiePam.

After a post-Covid lunch with colleagues in the CBD, I decided to walk from Wynyard to St.Leonards and pick up a few caches along the way.
After TFTC Bridgewalk, I continued my walk through North Sydney . With schoolzones starting, the streets were full of students. I noticed the many different uniforms and I never realised how many schools there were in this area.
The hint was discovered but it took quite some time before I could put my hand on the cache.

Nice easy find. Thanks. Pen stopped working so here is a picture if log for proof.
After pulling on something that took a while to get out, I came up empty handed. Starting back at the description and hint I readjusted my search. Then found the right direction and ended up with CIH. TFTC.
Found this one in the weekend when it was 40 degree heat... I nearly died as a result, well almost. I found 13 GCs that day and can I say that I often took sanctuary inside my car with the air conditioning on full. There's dedication for you to the GC cause!

Oh man, last two times I looked for this I couldn't find it at all...Big Tom comes in and after 2 seconds finds it. I'm blaming the other times on nighttime
Found with Big Tom and Hailstorm!

TFTC. Low time for muggles on a Saturday arvo but had to wait for lights to change to replace the cache. #161

In view of the easing of some Covid-19 movement restrictions, I'm re-enabling this geocache.
We have, however, been asked to continue vigilance, social distancing and sensible hygiene practices.
We have, however, been asked to continue vigilance, social distancing and sensible hygiene practices.
To help stop the spread of Covid-19, The Australian and NSW Governments require all of us to stay at home unless we are: shopping for essentials, receiving medical care, exercising or travelling to work or education.
Many of us have continued hunting geocaches – justifying this as exercise – and telling ourselves we're doing it responsibly by avoiding high urban traffic areas, practicing social distancing and hygiene etc. Some others are possibly less careful.
As a Cache Owner, I feel duty bound to follow the lead of wiser heads (wise guys?) and lessen the temptation to break curfew, so to speak. To that end, I'm now temporarily disabling all my hides. Please don't try to log them.
Hopefully, if we all do our bit for our collective well-being, our community will make it through this difficult time.
Let's stay home and work on solving some of the pesky puzzles we've been avoiding tackling. Or maybe get creative with ideas for future hides. And of course we can still geo-chat on social media.
Be safe – and keep smiling!

Sneaky hide. Logbook is dry. Signed and sealed. TFTH TFTC. Replaced cache as found ready for the next adventurer.
Last one for the day, (I know I said that to the previous one), and it took a minute or two to find the right spot. TFTC
Despite being officially on holidays, I had to come in to fix a radio link at Crows Nest today. So afterwards a bit of North Sydney caching was in order. Warmer than I expected waking around there today, but this was a nice quick find. Thanks AussiePam. Log was full so I had to sign the stash note instead.
