Chose to stop here for a bite to eat as I travelled north today because there happened to be 2 caches in the carpark that I hadn't found. I have now though! No TBs in residence waiting for a ride so just added my name to the visitor's book. Thanks for placing a cache here.
Stopped by the service centre and realised there were two caches here! Nice. I don't have time for both, so the closer one was my goal.
Crossing the uneven ground wasn't the easiest in the dark, but also not too bad.
The cache was easily spotted at GZ, well hidden from those driving past. The container has seen better days though - all the parts have warped, and there was a well-established ant nest inside.
The log container is still in good shape though, and nothing had gotten into the log, so I had no problems signing. I just wasn't confident to leave my travel bugs in the parent container, given it won't close properly anymore.

We are on our long-awaited journey around the world in 99 days. Second try after canceling in 2020.
Our fourth stop after Los Angeles, Hawaii and New Zealand is Australia.
This time was of course used to find some geocaches here.
Today we were searching for the Traditional **TB Guest House**
Thank to the Hint and the good coordinates the little box was found quickly!
After signing the logbook there is a new smile on our geocaching map!
At least we would like to take this opportunity to thank ozglory for creating and maintaining this Traditional.
Greetings from Nuermberg/Germany

P.S. To save space in the logbooks, we not only enter in sequence, but also in empty spaces between.

Great little Hotel a bit soaked though so will find somewhere else for my trackable.

The grass was way too long and thick to get through especially whilst wearing flip flops and shorts. Too risky especially this time of the year with snakes and/or maybe leeches. I reckon the cache probably should be placed elsewhere nearby especially the container being a TB guest house next to a national highway.
Homebound now, back to reality. Grabbed a few random caches along the way. Some targeted high FP and others just wherever we end up stopping for breaks. Stayed the night in Sydney, was great walking around the harbour at night grabbing a few caches.
Pulled over here for some lunch. After I slipped off to grab this one. Grass was super long so had my eyes peeled for wriggling sticks. A nicely constructed cache.

Nearly got lost turning into this place off the M1 due to all the fog this morning.
Wandered over to GZ to discover that we should have put our shoes on, but we persevered and made the find.
Thanks for the cache!

Found it yay! On our first holiday in years and I'm taking every chance I get to search! Incredible cute little cache. Watch out for farmers friends!
Took my first trackable to find it a new home and left a pretty painted rock for someone

Another well-crafted cache container.
After a quiet day yesterday in and around camp where we walked on the beach and enjoyed a coffee it was time to make use of the good weather and head out for some caching again.
Today we headed out to Crescent Head, a beautiful place and then back to Kempsey with Adventure Labs, the odd puzzle and multis and trads on the agenda.
The weather was lovely and a most enjoyable day had, although some of the caches were tough going in the bush.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache ozglory.

Tftc, grabbed while we had our lunch before hitting the road back to Sydney. Ants are the only ones inhabiting this hotel at the moment!
On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird. I’ll leave the more interesting & detailed log to Mrs Geo (aka: SeasonedBird, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird, Angry Bird & occasionally even Love Bird) because she writes so much more eloquently than I and usually has much more time to do so while I’m driving. It’s a great day for caching. TFTC ozglory

Wow what a cute little container! I admit I was a little scared to actually make it there (ick….there could be spiders), but I made it! Didn’t have any TBs myself this time and was a little disappointed I wasn’t able to help any others along there journey (the hotel was a little empty atm) but still got a smiley

Brad&Janet are on a journey from Brisbane back to Adelaide in the new geomobile. This is the first time doing this trip in a few years. We used to do it much more regularly when our daughter lived in the Sunshine Coast while attending University.
We are returning via Sydney and rural Victoria to see our son and daughter who both live in Sydney and also Janet’s sister who lives in Bendigo. The trip should be a good shakedown for the new geomobile.
We have been trying to find a few new places to visit. This time we are not dragging a house on wheels. We having been looking forward to this trip for some time. And of course along the way we should be able to find a few caches too.

Day 18 of our trek to the Townsville Mega and back with fitzy_1965 and two of my geo-kids Death_killer & my_name_jeff_1.
Home today with over 1000 kilometres done in just on 11 hours. We had such a dream run with not only no road works but no traffic either. Only a few caches for us today to break up the drive.
All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned. Thanks to all the CO’s.

Day 18 of our Townsville Trek, and we were on our last day and last drive of 1,040 Km to home. We pulled over here for a break and a cache. A quick find once at GZ. This was the 607th and last cache find for the trip. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off towards home.
Thanks ozglory !! These Rest area caches are so important - I look forward to them every trip I do.

Heading home after a few days up North. Have stopped here many times before, great to be able to bag a cache this time.
We found the best access to be from the on-ramp. Love the cute little house.

Sorry about the delay with this one. a new cache is made but on 2 occasions in the last couple of weeks this location has been listed as a place of interest for covid so right at the moment we are not going to go there. If caching rules dictate we have to do something then archive would be the choice. if no more covid problems come its way then we will replace. once again sorry for any inconvenience.
checked and it has gone. the site management are asking if the cleaners or garden maintenance team has it. So disabled till we find out then we will make a decision
Found whilst driving from Canberra to Balinna, stopped at Kempsey overnight and grabbed a few caches. TFTC.
Dayboro trip. Day 5. My time In Waughope and Port Macquarie had come to an end and today was a driving day to Casino via Grafton and Coffs Harbour. Mostly highway driving till the crossing of Coffs Harbour. The bypass cannot come soon enough. I managed to find caches in four of my last six non-Sydney Counties and even made it to Casino in time to log before dinner. The trip is in flux with Covid, but the days so far have been fun.
This service centre and rest area was huge. big enough for two caches. Interesting spots.
Thanks.

Super cute container.
On a trip north to get to Dayboro with Kittykatch and Barb2e. The rain made it very difficult to make a decision on the best way to go but the coast highway is open so this is the way we are going. Looking forward to seeing new country.

I was wondering why I couldn't find a "regular" sized cache.
Fair to say it was very well covered with the camo material!

Heading back to Port Macquarie for another day of course today got this one for ally this morning. The first story of this condo has come adrift from the other two but all is ok. Cute idea. Took nothing left nothing. Cheers.
Great sized cache in this setting. Nice one to start the trip up to Byron Bay. TFTC!
After two days on the Slim Dusty Trail we were now on our way to Port Macquarie.. but not before checking in to the Guest House. Great to see a good size cache for travellers. [^] At the time of our visit there were 4. We took KiwiFruitsNZ Racer Tag 2 to move along. TFTC ozglory.
Took a while to find as the coordinates kept on jumping around but the contents were pretty cool when we found them! Took a treasure x to relocate
Would have been a lot easier to find if my GPS location wasn't bouncing around. Hard to be stealth when you're walking round in circles lol

Last day of my fun weekend adventure with Mrs Slow Puncture. Time to start heading for home, of course we made sure to stop off and create more smileys on our journey north.
Time for breakfast. While we sat and ate our meal we had a look at the map and noticed this TB guest house not far from where we had parked. We made our way to GZ and quickly had the container in hand. Cute creation.

This was my very last stop to fuel up and claim a smilie before heading back to Brisbane. I parked nearby and while my muggle partner rolled his eyes as I disappeared into the bushes, I was busily searching for a cache. I made a quick find of this good sized hotel, checking out a couple of guests to continue their journey and checking in a few new ones which had been with me way too long and needed to find a new travel companion. Tftc ozglory!
