Took the bike south again today for some caching but wet weather was expected. First port of call was the Sturt Gorge Recreation Park where I managed to find 10 and was out before any rain.
Next was Reynella where I managed another 5 before the rain came in and I dashed back to the car.
Another I rode right up to and grabbed without getting off the bike. Found a very wet and useless log, mint tins are NOT waterproof. Needs a zip bag and a log from the CO.
Thanks to alysse14 for putting out this cache for me to find.

Thanks for the cache alysse14!

6-legged bitey cache guardians... Big Grin i had a chuckle at that Wink
Bullants are ferociously aggressive and do not discriminate when they attack [:o]

Luckily today there were none and the 8-Legged variety were also not present [^]

A hastily organised caching day found an Owl and a Fish without any firm plans. This morphed into a quick maintenance run, punctuated by whatever looked interesting on the way, followed by jumping from question mark to question mark, scooping up anything in between. All interspersed with either dodging rain showers or getting caught in them! This was the last cache of the day and, as Sushilord has explained, we expected it either to be muggled or signed by another cacher - neither of which was true.

07-Nov-19
Found on a casual day out with Dr Owl.

There's always time for 'just one more cache' and this was it. Our last find for the day and it had an unusual twist. As we approached GZ we noticed a woman fossicking around at the base of said tree. We wandered on, she wandered off and we circled back. Our initial though was she was a fellow cacher but there was nothing in the log book to support that theory.

Thanks for the cache alysse.

So this year I have been working towards getting at least 10 finds on every calendar day. Today was a bit of a milestone. Other than Feb 29th all days now have at least 5 finds, Today I needed to find 7 caches and succesfully did so. Most were alone but a couple I had company. Without all the fantastic hides and hiders I would have failed much sooner in my personal challenge. 5 months complete, 7 months to go.

With the two geocaching breakfast events out of the way this morning, [@gridge98](http://coord.info/PRGKDMY) and I planned a trip to the south collecting a whole bunch of suburban caches whilst trying to target a few higher D/T caches, and picking out a few of the *Mystery at the Museum* promotion caches with the appropriate clue for us. I think we ended up using the ladder 3-4 times during the afternoon, so we certainly put it to good use.

A U-turn along the main road, and it made sense to continue along towards this cache. It was a quick find once at GZ, but as we started walking back, one magpie swarmed down, followed by three more. Were we in trouble? It appeared not, and I suspected that a local resident had been feeding these, as they were hovering for some food. I threw them some food, and it then seemed like we had safe passage back to the car. Hehe, cheers alysse14.

Down in Brighton to catch up with a sick friend so I suggested we do a couple of caches to get him out of the house. He was keen although, despite caching with me many times, he never logs them online. I had hoped to have got 3 or 4 …….. I ended up with 12 ….. very happy !!!

This one took us a while to locate. My GPS had me nearer another tree and when we eventually found it the mint tin had been pushed into the ground and buried. Thanks Alysse14 for another "feathered" hide!!!
