It took a few minutes to locate this very well planned and presented cache. The cache and the contents were in good condition. Thanks for a great hide - a favourite from us.
Unfortunately didnt figure it out in the dark tonight, will try again in the light.
Reperio 14:13Day 4 of our tour of Tamworth/Armidale caching trip, and today, Master Vitruvius and I were able to focus on more of the cache closer to the Tamworth area. We had such a great time over the last few days finding plenty of caches. This one was quickly found along the way.Gratias Whitey WiskasAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
We were not stumped by this one and and added both names to the log after spotting it with goingplaces2. All is in good order. TFTC.
The co-ords here are a bit off, but we found the cache with ilook4geo, away from anything dangerous. We have found this type of hide before which made it easier to recognise. Thank you to whitey Wiskas for creating and placing this cache.
Well you had us stumped. Couldn't find it anywhere and with all the dangerous stuff around we decided to give it a miss.
Made a quick find here after inspecting the nearby needle dump... yuck and be careful. Clever hide though. Tftc
Quick park and grab heading for Tamworth. Glad I've found something similar in the past. TFTC
Walk around the small woods for a bit until I came across a black container thought it was the cache to my surprise it was a needle container with 5 needles in it. I ran into one of these once before but that one was a needle container and had a toxic simble so just be careful of this one.
I rather enjoyed tromping around this area, but I was unsuccessful finding the cache. I was in a bit of a hurry as I was running late to my brothers place for dinner and the light was starting to fade, so I had to cut my search short. Thanks!
Our 1st find for the day as we head to Tamworth for some caching and a cool finds it was too

Looked long and hard for this cache all around the area but wasn’t able to conquer today. Will have to come back around on our travels and hunt around for it again

After having to pass four caches because of road work, finally here was one I could stop at. Thank you for bringing me to what appears an ancient Aboriginal canoe tree. Nicely constructed cache too. Favourite point. The log is full, but I managed GW sideways. TFTC Whitey Wiskas.
We had driven by this cache on approach because it was on the wrong side of the road. After turning around at the wagon we found ourselves in the right direction.
Even though the growth looked dead, some of the spiky plants still had a nice amount of spike to them. They looked like they couldn’t hurt a fly but if you bent over in front of one they were more than happy to put prick in your backside. Awarding a FP for the great construction. tftc

Sounds like an ad for undergarments that I remember from my childhood. Nice one, have a favorite point. I have also belatedly awarded a favorite point for the wagon cache down the road. Thanks, WW.
After reaching the wagon and finding that cask he we reversed direction for this one. Bob suspected a hide which proved to be correct and it wasn’t long before we were signing the log book. Nice little bit of craftiness going on here .
Thanks for the cache and cheers!

Not what we were expecting but follow the name. Light soaked & full, needs replacing. Hot windy cycling.
Cute hide spotted easily one I jumped the long grass to get to GZ.
Nicely done, thx for the hide. Tried to dry out the log a bit

Based on the cache name I thought yeah, yeah, I know what to expect, but that not what I found. A well constructed cache that was fun to find. Worth a fave point.
Day 7
Tamworth to Bathurst
Great cache a favourite from me.
This is a Road trip south back to ACT, originally to Dayboro, but now a caching trip around NSW for the Easter break.

#7162 Day 7 of our "Dayboro Plan B" trip. mtrax & myself, having decided to ditch the mega came up with a last minute re-route using some of the accommodation we'd already booked and find some interesting caches. To this end we were very selective and only chose caches with sufficient FPs along the route. Today we are in leaving Tamworth and heading down to Bathurst for the night. Not a lot of time for caching today. Weather is warm but good. Looking forward to Burning Mountain on the way.
A very nice construction.
Thanks Whitey Wiskas

A nice stop on our journey across the country from Adelaide to Brisbane with Davidwazza! TFTC!
Moving from Adelaide to Brisbane, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I decided to drive the long distance to make the opportunity a holiday, taking 12 days and passing through Victoria, New South Wales, and then finally arriving in Queensland. We spent the first few days in SA's Riverland, visiting Morgan, Berri and Renmark; and then drove through Mildura in Victoria. In NSW, we stopped at Hay, Parkes, Merriwa, Tamworth, Port Macquarie, and Coffs Harbour, and then entered Qld to stop for a night in Robina in the Gold Coast.
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I travelled from Merriwa to Tamworth. It was a pretty bad weather day, with continuous showers of light to heavy rain, but we attempted to make the most of the day. We travelled via Denman, and then proceeded north stopping at Muswellbrook for lunch. We then drove through Aberdeen, Scone, Murrundi, Quirindi, Werris Creek, Duri, and Warral, arriving in Tamworth in the later afternoon. Several of NSW's LGAs were visited during our travels today.
This took us ages to find, perhaps in the order of 15 minutes. We were walking all over the place, and so didn't help with our coordinates bouncing around. I had suspected the cache hide type, but the hide was different to what I had encountered previously / imagined. A fantastic hide though! The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Whitey Wiskas for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

I so dont deserve this find as I walked past and just picked it up without realising what it was as its aging quite nicely and thought what a great place to put a cache and was making mental notes for home when discovered that I had the cache in hand lol Fav from Me
heading into the area again for a one nighter as we are heading back to see the grandies at Gilgandra this time via Narrabri picking up this trail as we head from Quirindi which was my mothers and her parents stomping ground thanks for the Cache

Found at 2:24 PM GAFF3 at a distance of 12 metres
I spotted the hide early in the search process, but it I thought it was natural as it would not budge.
Came back to it and put a bit more oomph in the extraction and a very nicely fabricated camo was revealed.
Thanks Whitey Wiskas.

We're heading home today after a great long weekend caching in Tamworth, deciding on heading down the 'tourist route' through Quirindi (more caches this way anyway!). We managed a clean sweep of all the caches that were there, including a pair of GCA virtuals. Thanks to all the CO's who provided so much for us to do whilst out here. We'll be back.....
I was checking out the wrong stump as Samuel nailed this one - clever hide.... TFTC! +1FP

Tamworth and Amrmidale Trip March 2020. Day 3. I headed north with Fitzy_1965 along the New England Highway towards Tamworth. Today we headed out to do caching trails around Tamworth to the North. The day was mostly roadside caches, but they were all of differing levels of challenges, especially when you have to deal with Farmers Friends and Stinging Nettles at almost ever cache.
Thanks.

20,500. Found with albida33 during a meander up to and around the Tamworth and Armidale regions.
Day 3 of our trip. Headed out after breakfast for what turned out to be a big days caching. We aimed to hit some of the trails around the region. Next stop of the day, and we came up with a quick find. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then headed off to the next one.
TFTC Whitey Wiskas !! Did I mention the long grass? Lol.

#16818. Our second day on the road with the new camper travelling homewards from Uralla to Mudgee. A long day - smoky and the land is so dry and desolate and soul-destroying. Gathered a few caches along the way as they popped up on the radar.
A good hide here on the other side of the road. We should have been travelling in the other direction maybe. Returned as found and all good here.
Thanks Whitey Wiskas

Nice one ! Found quicker than I expected but watch out for the 8 legged cache guardian , it was persistent in its choice of home on the cache. I left him there as I'm not into random killing of anything simply because they make me uncomfortable . Tftc
While camping in Tamworth with my geodog Scruffy, we just had to get out find a few of the new caches in the area ...

By the side of the surprisingly busy road this morning,
I was kicking around looking for this cache
It took me a few minutes to notice it,
and when I did,
I almost put it back
But the camo I was holding was just too .... 'odd' [:o]
So I fiddled with it and was quite surprised to find the logbook
Very neat !!
And well worth a fave dance [^]

There is such a wonderful selection of caches around this area and this was one we targetted and found. We were impressed that caches were not missing and were well maintained. Thanks to Whitey Wiskas for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.

Travelling from Gulgong to Armidale and collecting a few caches along the way. A very clever hide and a FP given. Thanks so much to all the COs for your time and effort in making and placing these caches as well as making this drive a lot more interesting. Happy caching!
Travelling from Gulgong to Armidale after a stay in Sydney for 2 weeks. I apologise for the generic log, however due to the number of caches found, it would take me ages to do individual logs. To the CO's thank you for placing the caches in the spots you have. Enjoyed this part of the country and will probably be back in this area in next couple of months after the Mega Event in Queanbeyan in April. TFTC.

Hi there Whitey Wiskas.
Today was a drive from Tamworth to Duri, and then out to Lake Keepit, logging caches along the way. The caches we found were all well placed, and the for the most part had pretty accurate coordinates. We can see that a lot of thought has gone into the placement of all the caches we found today. We awarded this cache a favourite point for the ingenious camo.
All up we found 23 caches & DNF'd 0 in this cache run. Thanks for placing the caches. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places while we meander around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 3m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Nothing.
Regards
Ian & Penny.
