A nice stop on our journey across the country from Adelaide to Brisbane with Davidwazza! TFTC!
Moving from Adelaide to Brisbane, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I decided to drive the long distance to make the opportunity a holiday, taking 12 days and passing through Victoria, New South Wales, and then finally arriving in Queensland. We spent the first few days in SA's Riverland, visiting Morgan, Berri and Renmark; and then drove through Mildura in Victoria. In NSW, we stopped at Hay, Parkes, Merriwa, Tamworth, Port Macquarie, and Coffs Harbour, and then entered Qld to stop for a night in Robina in the Gold Coast.
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I travelled from Merriwa to Tamworth. It was a pretty bad weather day, with continuous showers of light to heavy rain, but we attempted to make the most of the day. We travelled via Denman, and then proceeded north stopping at Muswellbrook for lunch. We then drove through Aberdeen, Scone, Murrundi, Quirindi, Werris Creek, Duri, and Warral, arriving in Tamworth in the later afternoon. Several of NSW's LGAs were visited during our travels today.
Thankfully this was a quick find in a typical hiding place! The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Whitey Wiskas for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

The resident spider has been doing a lot of work covering up the container - sorry little spider, but you will have to start all over again [:o)]
Thanks Whitey Wiskas.

We're heading home today after a great long weekend caching in Tamworth, deciding on heading down the 'tourist route' through Quirindi (more caches this way anyway!). We managed a clean sweep of all the caches that were there, including a pair of GCA virtuals. Thanks to all the CO's who provided so much for us to do whilst out here. We'll be back.....
Nice park and grab - cheers!

Tamworth and Amrmidale Trip March 2020. Day 3. I headed north with Fitzy_1965 along the New England Highway towards Tamworth. Today we headed out to do caching trails around Tamworth to the North. The day was mostly roadside caches, but they were all of differing levels of challenges, especially when you have to deal with Farmers Friends and Stinging Nettles at almost ever cache.
Thanks.

20,496. Found with albida33 during a meander up to and around the Tamworth and Armidale regions.
Day 3 of our trip. Headed out after breakfast for what turned out to be a big days caching. We aimed to hit some of the trails around the region. Next stop of the day, and we came up with a quick find. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then headed off to the next one.

Slowly heading home. Left Uralla this morning heading for Mudgee.
Bettyboo3747 and I collected occasional caches along the way.
It was a quick park and grab, and you are right about the traffic, mainly hay trucks today.
Thanks, Robmc.

#16816. Our second day on the road with the new camper travelling homewards from Uralla to Mudgee. A long day - smoky and the land is so dry and desolate and soul-destroying. Gathered a few caches along the way as they popped up on the radar.
A quick find and sign and we continued on our way.
Thanks Whitey Wiskas

There is such a wonderful selection of caches around this area and this was one we targetted and found. We were impressed that caches were not missing and were well maintained. Thanks to Whitey Wiskas for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Heading inrto Tamworth to work closer to the next milestone. Out with Liz & Bruce who are working on their own milestone. cool start to the day

Travelling from Gulgong to Armidale and collecting a few caches along the way. Thanks so much to all the COs for your time and effort in making and placing these caches as well as making this drive a lot more interesting. Happy caching!
Travelling from Gulgong to Armidale after a stay in Sydney for 2 weeks. I apologise for the generic log, however due to the number of caches found, it would take me ages to do individual logs. To the CO's thank you for placing the caches in the spots you have. Enjoyed this part of the country and will probably be back in this area in next couple of months after the Mega Event in Queanbeyan in April. TFTC.
Hi there Whitey Wiskas.
Today was a drive from Tamworth to Duri, and then out to Lake Keepit, logging caches along the way. The caches we found were all well placed, and the for the most part had pretty accurate coordinates. We can see that a lot of thought has gone into the placement of all the caches we found today.
All up we found 23 caches & DNF'd 0 in this cache run. Thanks for placing the caches. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places while we meander around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 5m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** A gold coin.
Regards
Ian & Penny.

You are not wrong about the traffic on this road. We choose to cross the bridge and turn around and park on the same side as the cache. SL TFTC

Yikes, that cache description is right...... people do travel along here like there's no tomorrow. This morning we'd been roaming all over Tamworth looking for the newly published caches, had a leisurely lunch then drove out to Duri for this trail. Luckily, any vehicles following had already shot past and pulling in to the cache was easy. We had no idea till we opened it that the FTF was still up for grabs..... even made a comment that it must have a new logbook. Then it hit. New cache! and even better, there were two more up the road! {FTF} at 12.52pm. TFTC Whitey Wiskas.
