Were on our way to Charleville to attend a footy tournament for our 11 year old. Who knows why they picked Charleville but hey, weve never been there before which benefits us as theres plenty of caches to grab. We checked to see if there were any caches in the vicinity and it turns out there is one and its only 60 metres away, perfect! So after a quick break we wandered on over to suss it out and spotted it instantly when we arrived. Thanks for bringing us here.#4432 - TFTC
Closest I've been to one of these establishments in many, many years! Sure is a hive of activity.Spotted quickly enough. Did what I had to do ... then headed for the next find.TNLNSL.TFTC ...

On my way to Mundubbera with Grannan55 and Geodogs. Stopped for a cuppa, had a look and this one came up only 400 metres from where we parked the caravan. A quick walk and a quick find. Thanks for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. All good here. Now, onto the next one for the day. TFTC
A quick find at GZ after waiting for the coast to clear. A very busy area this morning. TFTC Runawayz SL
We travelled into the outback of Queensland - towards Charlesville. We did a lot of puzzling, research and planning in the run-up to our tour. This is our first major tour into the outback. We start our tour in Toowoomba and continue via the A2 to Chinchilla to the big melon. A longer stop was made at Miles Historical Village Museum. In Roma we also visited the big bottle tree.On our 3rd day, we start our tour in Mitchell and continue to Morven. We planned a few days around Charlesville, Morven, Augathella and Cooladdi for the respective trails. We had beautiful weather - and a wonderful time in the Queensland outback. We enjoyed the breathtaking landscape with its red sand, impressive animals, starry nights and golden sunsets. We would like to thank all the owners for the great cachesTeam sissifalke
Great little hide! Harder than expected but a step in the right direction. Thank you
A fun find. Good with my geo buddy along too. Thank you for the cache. Happy travels.
33,583. Found during our Queensland Outback GeoMuster (QOGM) 2023 Longreach Adventure - a 33 day epic tour of Northern NSW and Outback Queensland finding many caches, attending great events and catching up with awesome Cachers along the way.Queensland Outback GeoMuster (QOGM) 2023 Longreach Adventure Day 30. Today we packed up, did our best to clean out Chinchilla (including a very important Adventure Lab point at the Big Watermelon), then headed South and West through Tara, Moonie and into today's destination St. George (a new LGA for me). After all that driving and caching we enjoyed a few beers at the St. George Hotel while the AFL Grand Final was on. We still had 4 days and lots of caches to go on this trip. This was the next one on the list. Quickly found once at GZ. Signed as F65 and A33 as required. Replaced the cache as found, then we continued on our journey. Thanks to all the COs who put out these caches !!
QOGM 2023 Longreach Day 30. Traveling Chinchilla to St George via Tara & Moonie. Fitzy_1965 and Albida33 are on our trip in early spring to Longreach. The journey home is well under way and today was a morning caching around Chinchilla before packing up and heading south. Lots of driving again today, but we found a few caches to stop at along the day, including one puzzle we solved just for this day before we left. The day warmed up after a few cooler days. In the afternoon we tried one of the St George pubs, but went back to camp to cook. With traffic coming and going it was a nice quick find once we got around to the correct side. Thanks for the cache Runawayz44576.4 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2009 Compass Rose Black A#161**Albida**
bunadoorian and I came here to try and find this cache. We were searching in the wrong spot but bunadoorian finally found it well concealed. TFTC and for bringing us here Runawayz
After a short search we found this cache tucked away. A bit short of logbook but enough. TFTC.
Our final night on a trip to the cape before heading home to Brisbane today. Micjor and I headed out early this for as many caches as we could do before we go.
Stealth required indeed, b found it quick enough.

We are now heading north to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria. Today we headed off from Toowoomba and out around Chinchilla where we will stay for the night. A great opportunity to grab some around the area. Different and challenging hides.
Stopped off here and made the find after a short search, which was a relief.
Thanks Runawayz for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

#4305 From Canberra with Green-martian. This morning we departed Moree to be here. Great town and a quick find near the servo. Now off to see the huge melon. TFTC.
These containers are tricky, they blend in and are easily missed even when looking straight at them. This cache however wasn’t so lucky and was quickly nabbed. Tftc
After Karicka’s Moveable Feast Event in Roma this morning, the group has gone in different directions and I’m now in the back seat of Karicka’s very angry ute with him and Davinells up front…
Our last cache in Chinchilla, well mine, everyone else has been here…
Thanks Runawayz

This extended/long weekend across Anzac Day, it was an outback adventure to Charleville and Carnarvon Gorge. Departing Thursday afternoon, I stopped in Roma before continuing west through Mitchell and Morven and completing various puzzles and power trails. I then caught up with a small group to hike Carnarvon Gorge on Sunday and Monday, and then after having a final night in Roma, returned on Monday.
Today, a mid-afternoon departure had me head to Roma for tonight's accommodation, travelling through Toowoomba, Dalby, Chinchilla, and Miles. The old railway station at Bowenville was an interesting stop, and my drive was longer than it needed to be after I headed south from Chinchilla to drive through Condamine. A nice evening to be stretching legs at miscellaneous geocaches along the way.
I hadn't planned on stopping at this geocache, but it was the nearby fast food outlet that called my name for my dinner this evening. After grabbing that delicacy, I parked at this geocache, and had a look at GZ. This geocache didn't take too long to find, although I did think it would be a tough geocache if you hadn't seen this cache type before, so I would have rated it more in the 2.0 Difficulty territory. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Runawayz for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

On the way back to Brisbane from Canarvon Gorge. An overnight in Chinchilla and a spot of caching to start the day.
Reading the cache description a slow stroll down the footpath and a quick dart to the side, soon had the cache in hand. A clever hide. TFTC

We are on a 2 month trip from Portland via the Mundi Mundi Bash to a wedding in Brisbane and then out west for QOGM in Charleville.
Today we left Warra and headed to Roma for a couple of nights but we were able to stop in Chinchilla for their famous Saturday Only doughnuts. We jumped on the bikes and toured around town including the AdLab.
Thanks for contributing to the fun Runawayz

Two Tassies still hanging around town to find and log a few more caches. Visited KFC yesterday and now Maccas. However I would just like to point out at this stage that no KFC has entered my digestive system in over 25 years, and Maccas has never assaulted my insides ever ! Hah ! So all I can say is that these sites do have other uses. This cache was a good and sneaky one, and deserves a favourite for execution and stealthiness . Thanks Runawayz for another day of fun.
Wandered down to the garden centre to pick up some herbs. And, naturally, a few caches along the route
Yeah, this location is a bit sketchy but once at GZ nobody could see me lurking in the bushes anyway. Looked about and spotted the cache.

I knew what to look for given I own a similar cache in Deception Bay. However, where exactly to look was the mystery. Some gorgeous green tree frogs led me to the smiley.
Visiting Chinchilla on our way home from Roma’s Easter in the Country. Easter Sunday meant limited choice for dinner but the Chinese restaurant was open and was tastier than the Golden Arches. TFTC

I had geodog with me so wandering over to gz didn't look sus at all. I expected this to be a challenge but located the sssw2wwstealthy cache within seconds of arrival. Everything in perfect condition and good to go
A lovely sneaky urban hide. We were able to park not too far away, and owning one or two like this in Brisbane made for a quick find for us. It felt a degree or to cooler in this little area, and it was a lovely quiet place to log the find.
Thanks for another good one here in Chinchilla Runawayz

Two years ago we tried to find this cache with no luck. So frustrating after multiple tries!! But this time with a few hints we nailed it within 30secs. Have not seen this type of cache before hence why we missed it. Great cache and so glad we found it this trip
Found this one while wandering around town after visiting the watermelon with graceygirl1234. TFTC
