There is no way this cache is still here as there is a long stretch either side of GZ where everything next to the path has been removed while diggers and more are working - presumably to build another building.
Site works underway for a new warehouse build … no vegetation at ground zero at all … looks like this one might need to be archived!
Found the spot but can see it is broken and will need fixing. Thanks for the hide
Spotted something in the hinted location, but no cache....further investigation located the damaged cache in the ground....
Over this way today to grab a couple of caches along this trail with the bike to speed things up and as I was solo, and not able to have a car at both ends.... Had dropped the teenager at college and parked nearby this cache to start the trail....have been coming here for many years to visit with the kids these little trains, so was happy to see caches added to the area and the cycle way to the airport....

We were fast running out of time before requiring to head home so decided a quick jog along the walkway was in order to get a few quick finds in succession.
Another easy one with the hint, getting through a few, great stuff, thanks.

Today was a day for grabbing numbers as we approach a milestone number so we headed here to walk the cycle trail. Here today with Liverkiwi, Lordcacher08, Purply and Darthcacher1. A nice quick find here.
Out today with HeMaLuDy to walk along George Bolt Memorial Drive and collect some of the caches that can be found along here. It was a stunning sunny spring day which meant that it was cold, but as long as you stayed in the sun you stayed warm enough to make it bearable.
Well, with the number of caches that you find in, on or around trees, you would think so.
Anyway, with a title like that, there was only one place where this cache could be hidden. So in we went, and it only took a matter of second before the cache was found. A little different than any we had seen before, but still, a good cache.

Time for a little bit of caching with Ms_KR before heading back to Christchurch.
Time is ticking on as we walk the last few km to the airport.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

This biking track had been a plan of attach for Team SEAC for a while now however the originally planned day had to be cancelled due to bad weather.
A couple of days ago the weather was checked and found to be good so the cal went out. Unfortunately due to the late notice there were only 4 that could attend.
We threw our bikes into the back of our cars and headed to the Countdown carpark at the airport and headed to the bike trail to do these caches.
Another quick find and we were on our way.

Had planned this bike ride for a few weeks ago but the weather got in the way. Mrs NZT messaged yesterday to see if anyone was keen to attempt again today and yes we were!
Nice quick find.
Thanks for the cache. Found with NZTravellers, Hello Birdie 1 and laval.

This was our second attempt at this bike trail after our first date got rained out, luckily we only got a little rain in the morning. Another quick find for young eyes! TFTC!
I got stuck near the airport for the night due to weather, so I took the opportunity to walk along the cycle way to the airport in the morning and find a few along the way. TFTC!!
Greetings from Scotland. Thanks to the Covid 19 lockdown we are now stuck in a hotel room until we can get our flight home. We decided that, should we be passing any caches on our daily walks from our hotel, we would look with our eyes. If we could see it and could reach it to get the log under normal circumstances, we would photograph the cache having touched nothing, and submit the picture to the CO advising we would delete our log if they did not agree. We're not sure we would enjoy this walk so much if the traffic had been thundering past on the motorway. As it was, it was almost deserted and we are really enjoying the walk. We saw a cacher's trail heading to this one MrsF followed it and shouted she had spotted the cache.
Photo log has been sent off to the CO so as not to give any spoilers on the page.
*This is our 10619th logged find. Found at 15:42 hrs.* TFTC

Another nice cache visited with woolwood9 today, quick find with good hint.

Went for a little stroll here this afternoon before my flight home. Quick find here. TFTC
Man I wish the $$$ kind did. There was a choice of two here and of course I took the wrong option first. Quickly sorted. TFTC # 15,201
Headed to the Airport today with the bikes on board, to start on this trail. We got a few done, but the sun was too hot to continue to the end. Will come back another day and complete the rest. Enjoyed the ride nonetheless. Replaced a couple of logs that were full as well. Clever cache here, took a while to spot it. SL. TFTC.
Thought this might take a while but a combo of good cords and good hint meant the cache was soon in hand, and replaced as found. T F T C geocoinsnz
Time to head back home and I have around an hour to spare before taking the rental van back to it's owners. A chance for a few more in the region before heading to my barren cache-scape of Marlborough. Managed low double-digits today and some good ones in amongst the others.
I'm up in Auckland for the week, with a couple of options for transport and with a healthy choice of 4 evenings plus one late-afternoon at my disposal for caching. Would be remiss of me not to take advantage of what some (km) would call a 'target rich environment'. And so my week was spent well, a count of 75 caches was found, a few DNFs and a plethora of G-2's special cache treats with awesome camo and attachments. Some nice evening weather made things easier, and I averaged a 10km walked each day = nice. Thanks to all COs for their caches, individual logs as/when remembered.

We were heading out for a walk after spending the whole day sitting in a seminar, so it was good to get out and stretch the legs.
We were not sure how far we would go but found ourselves heading along this cycle/walk way.
It seemed very quiet around the area so we decided to go for a wander and see where we ended up.
Woops (got the cachce mixed up with another one). Gk found this one and I left him to sign the log while I wandered along and found the next one.
Thanks for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley

Out for a days geocaching on electric scooters. Had a great day out in the sunshine. Liked the size of the container. Dropped our pathtag. Thanks FMZ.
Find number 6059. Spending a couple of days in Auckland geocaching. Decided to cycle the trail to the airport today. I found a total of 45 in the area. Weather was a bit iffy but who cares I am geocaching. Another bison in a tree? Maybe but it has grown some then. Thank you for the placement
Up in Auckland for the weekend staying at the Ibis .grabbing a few caches with my sister and daughter. Tftc
I dropped off Ms M in Mangere this morning and headed out to Natural High and hired a bike to cache the trail on the cycleway.
A quick find and sign.

I did this cache a while back and after getting a hand injury which has made typing difficult I have fallen very far behind on my logs sorry. Doing my best to catch up now.
I don't know about Caches growing on trees but they certainly seem to gravitate towards them often enough. Albert and I enjoyed this trail of caches and it was fun to walk together on a carefree hour of caching.
Not too many troubles here although I must admit I did look in the wrong spot at first. Turned around and quickly saw the cache - much better! Not Albert's height so I was on my own for this one and he doesn't have an opposable thumb for gripping a pen to sign the log in any case.
So I signed in and replaced the cache as found - thanks for the cache.

Late afternoon outing scootering along the cycleway. Rain imminent but we decided to see how many more caches we could get beforehand. As it turned we did not get far with the rain beginning to pelt down when we got to this cache. Luckily there were a couple of small trees to shelter under. Hide located while waiting for the rain to subside. All good. TFTC
Decision made during a little lull in the waterworks to call it a day. Got a little wet scootering back to the car but fortunately we made it with seconds to spare before it began bucketing down. Interesting drive back home along the Auckland waterways.

Again nice easy find and more wet feet for us! nicely placed we are enjoying this trail! TFTC
I had promised to bring my niece and nephews back to complete the remainder of the caches along the Mangere cycleway today on our scooters. While in the area we decided to come and find the caches around the airport area hoping that it would be quiet early this morning. One of the boys raced ahead and straightaway found the cache.
Out on a cool Saturday finding what we can, Thanks for placing this cache
In Auckland for a few days so only aiming a few caches. Brought my bike up so had to use it on some of these. TFTC
For my personal challenge of working towards getting my calendar on GC.COM to be at least the same shade of green or darker I need to sign off at least 7 caches today. I won't grumble if I find one or two more. I decided that there were more than enough if I went back out Magere way..It was another day to get the bike out to do this trail.
Some seem to.
Cheers for the cache

So, conference in the CBD has finished, I'm back at the airport at 5pm and my flight doesn't leave until 8.25pm. Thank goodness for geocaching...
Eenie, meenie, miney, mo.....is it that one, or that one. No, its the other one. I started a little focussed on what I was expecting to find so it took me a few moments to actually see what I should have been looking for.
Thanks

Good size cache here which the kids appreciate, swapped some items, hello Garfield! Tftc
#621. Caches might not grow on trees..... ok I better stop there, don't want to give anything away Onto the next!
I only picked up this cache and the multi, because I needed two caches by the same CO and one had to be a multi... for this challenge here: GC2RH6C
I wanted to get others but it was late and raining and I had parked my car on Nixon Rd near the airport and I wasn't sure if I was allowed to park there for a long time or not! I mean, there were no signs saying not to... but why don't more people park for free on Nixon Road when they go on holiday? It's real close to the park n ride!
Thanks for the cache!

Went and grabbed this one while geowife was working out the answers to the nearby multi. Thanks CO for the series.
Carried on along this cycle path and we soon arrived at the next gz.A very quick find for us.
This time, I am not travelling by air ambulance but am on a normal vacation instead.
Kind of normal at least...
My main destination is the South Pacific but as I am using up some air miles to get there my routing is not exactly straight...
At the moment I have 4 hours between flights on my way from Buenos Aires to Fiji. Enough time to enter the country and find a few caches near the airport. It was way better to stretch my legs than killing all my time in a lounge...
What else would you do at 5 AM?
At the industrial site behind the fence people were working. Thus, I didn’t want to use my light too much.
Luckily, I found the box rather quickly.

As I am currently trying to maintain a daily geo-streak, I have been saving the caches along this cycleway for days/nights that I am in a hurry and running out of time to make my daily find. As I spend a lot of time flying between cities I have realised I need to be strategic about the finds I make and when I make them. So tonight after getting off a flight from Wellington, I swung by here, hoofed it along the cycleway and quickly made this find. I have already found a couple along here on other occasions. So the log book has been signed and the cache is nicely back in its spot all ready for other hunters. Thank you geocoinsnz for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so.
#4002 Very easy find, while waiting for a plane. Thanks for the cache, greetings from Czech Republic.

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... We planned to be in Auckland this weekend. But a mystery illness has proven to be a proverbial ‘fly in the ointment...’ Heading northward tentatively...
The Airport and its surrounds seems to be a hot spot for new caches. Here we go with another attempt to clear some of the recent additions... We enjoyed this series of caches because of the quality of the hides. Each had its own degree of challenge and intrigue. For a cycleway in close proximity to a major roadway, these hides were nicely concealed. Such a pleasure... TFTC.

Here between flights. Loved the ingenuity, time and effort put into making these caches. Made my stop here so much more fun. Thanks. This one was all fine. TFTC
Found this evening withe hingis20. We have a fair bit of time to spare between flights so we decided to go for a (long) walk along this path and seek out the geocaches hidden here. On our way back to Victoria, BC, Canada after a wonderful vacation on the south island where we were visiting my daughter and here family - and geocaching of course. Picked up a TB to move along. TFTC
Quick find this afternoon with eltee291. Nice walk from the airport. Heading home to Victoria, BC, Canada today after spending 3 weeks in Blenheim. Signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache, geocinsnz!
Have been on a super holiday to NZ staying with friends at Gulf Harbour since Xmas Day. We’ve had a brilliant time but now have to head back to Australia and work..
We visited Butterfly Creek today which was fun and afterwards our friends dropped us at the Ibis.
I left the geohusband behind with a box of beer and headed along the bike track to collect some caches. Had a huge walk which I really enjoyed. Super variety of hides some were easy, some tricky and enjoyed the puzzle and multi thrown in too. Had to revisit a couple of tricky bisons on the return journey.
thanks to all the cache owners for this super trail.
Checked the wrong tree first but found in the other tree TFTC and greetings from Adelaide Australia

It is a pleasant morning this morning and soon I find myself at this cache on the trail. I guess caches do grow on trees. Took TB ... although it wasn't listed on the cache page. TFTC
The sun was shining and with time off work decided to wander along some of the cycleway. Nice quick find. TFTC
Parked on the dead end part of Montgomerie Rd and set off on the bikes to get some caches. Now I know that caches grow on trees. TFTC
With rebel98 and little blackbird on a caching adventure
rebel spotted this straight away. Its hot walking along then walkway, time to look for some iceblocks. Thanks geocoinsnz for the hide

The royal visit is about to start and after spending the morning getting ready a managed to wangle from Mrs Dragon a leave pass, for a couple of hours, to collect a few caches before collecting my sister and her husband at Auckland Airport.
The morning was progressing on wards and it seemed like a good opportunity to grab this trail along here if I got my A into G and as it was a walk in the sunshine which made it quite the bonus. Managed to grab them all and I thank the CO for the nice little collection along here with a bit of variety thrown in for good measure. So parking at one end then leap frogging my way up and back to keep the interest up. Very good placement and generally well out of sight of the nearby traffic.
Thanks or the cache, Thanks for the placement

I parked the e-bike and soon had the location of this cache sorted. The cache was hanging and it looks like the tape is coming apart, I didn't have any tape on me otherwise I would have given it some maintenance. So after signing the cache, I left it stuck between two little branches just so the weight of it does tear the tape any further. Cheers for the cache.
Late this afternoon we took a stroll along this new cycleway to collect a few more of the caches that have sprouted up along here. Inspected the tree at GZ - yes, cache really does grow on trees. TFTC
I saw this series of caches published recently, and decided it was time to visit the new cycle path. Thanks for placing them geocoinnz.
Met up with Merlot to check out this newly released trail. Quick find here once we searched the right hint object.
We decided it was time to start on this new trail so Jag50 and I met up and parked at Countdown and started from there. Once we searched the right tree we found the cache growing on it
Time to have a quick walk and find a few caches while waiting for my passengers to land at the airport
Even withe hint, there were two possibilities. Fortunately, I guessed right and found the cache in the first place. You must have been waiting five years to use this lanyard. TFTC.
