It seems clear that the Poopleberries have taken off with this cache, since it has not been found for 11 mths after numerous visits. It was a particularly crafted electrical junction box type container high on the back of the toilet block for those who were interested. Some had found it difficult to open thinking it needed to be unscrewed but it just needed a fingernail under the edge to lift off the lid. I'll archive it now so maybe someone else can place another cache near this location with often picturesque views of the lake from the boat ramp. So it's farewell after 5yrs & 1mth with 84 Finds, 16 DNFs and 3 Favourite Points. Thanks to all those who took the time to visit.??????
I couldnt find it in the trees nor the poopleberreis structure and will notify the hider
No luck for us today ... Couldn't find anything on the Poopleberries structure, nor in the fork of a tree.
Found today on the ground. I lodged it in the fork of a tree but did not have the ability to put it back in its proper place. Cheers
I might have cache blindness but I really can't see anything. I've climbed up, used pipes and put hands in but to no avail.
How long does one loiter around a place such as this without looking suspicious.
No sign of anything obvious or not. Will try again another day if it is confirmed cache is still here.
Highlight: two magestic pelicans near a little houseboat ...

spiderwebbs4 I didn’t find your cache Poopleberries anyone?? on 27/3/2023, 11:32 am. Had a look around but nothing found.
Just walking the dog in the area, previously logged this cache but noticed its missing, probably needs a replacement or to be tracked down
While reception wasnt our friend we did manage to locate sign and replace. Thanks for bringing us here. Tftc
Sometimes being a short geocacher is a real curse. I have tongs in my bag and used them to reach it, but after I'd signed the log, I couldn't get it back up. Luckily someone left an old chair nearby and luckily it took my weight!
Muggle65 was right onto this while l was in a totally wrong location. Neat container! Thank you so much
& I have been wanting to come back here forever! Today we made a date & here we are. It’s such a lovely hideaway place. A stroll down the beach, a walk down the esplanade, a tree fish. This one was a little challenging but as sneaky as it was, we found it. After using a TOTT we signed it. A fav point loved it.
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location.
(HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do.

Seen this types of caches a few times before, its a great idea!!. Thanks for the hide, all looks to be in good condition!
I had both daughters waiting impatiently in the car so thankfully it did not take long to spot the cache.
I took it back to the car to get it open but in hindsight I am not sure I needed to. I think a bit of wiggling might have done the job.

Finally allowed into Queensland from Geelong Victoria. Was able to see my Parents after 2 years lockdown.going home tomorrow needed to find at least one cache before we left. Quick drive to Boreen Point and a quick find lucky I had my tool kit with me. TFTC
Had to wait a good 30 minutes for a muggle parked directly under the cache to move on before I could retrieve and sign the log

Spotted the container immediately, but then we have seen this camo type before. The challenge was picking the right moment to retrieve it in between boaties launching and using the facilities. We came prepared with a tool so it made quick work of the log signing duties. Then it was off to enjoy the relaxing waters edge for a few hours. Always appreciate a cache with a difference ️. Thanks Spiderwebbs
Cache 1 on day 4 of my 7 day bicycle tour. Brought TOTT today so could access log. TFTC
Found cache easily. I’ve seen this before. But I don’t have a screwdriver on me and can’t see any other way of opening the container. I will try to come back later this evening g or tomorrow before I leave Boreen Point. I have screwdriver in my bike bag but walked here this afternoon. I like these containers. Very tricky
Had an enjoyable time with the SPREGTH (for Snickersallan, Patrol14, RoddyC, E_Smiley, GrannySmith1947, TMZ59 and Hatzofff) Team. So happy to meet them again just like the good old days.
Thanks for the cache spiderwebbs4.

Catching up on some logging today, so a bit of a generic log, I'm afraid.
I was caching with Snickersallan, Patrol14, hatzofff, E Smiley, grannysmith1947, and TMZ 59, giving rise to the team name of SPREGTH. Although not fully operative yet, I was able to tag along to most of the caches we found. Some Events brought us into this area.
Early morning start, and I was rewarded with a plastic poopleberry. Thanks ladies!!
Log signed and cache replaced as found on May 1st 2021. TFTC, spiderwebbs4.

On our way home from a weekend of caching on Fraser Island, triple turmoil and myself decided to grab a few target caches on the way home. We decided to head to Boreen Point and grab a few caches in the area and one that was of particular interest. This was one that we saw as we passed by late night caching is fun and with a full moon it was an easy walk around.
This was fun, as we drove up to the cache we could see the cache easily, the recovery was done by myself as triple turmoil suffers from ducks disease. We signed the log and replaced as found, all good with this cache. Thanks for placing this one here, now it was onto the next one of our list.

Still don't know what pigs doI have never had the opportunity to visit Fraser Island. Chamad wanted an adventure. A road trip and I am super grateful that he took me along. We had a 3 day road trip, on Fraser Island, Double Island Point and Rainbow beach, plus a detour on the way home to Brisbane through Gympie, Boreen Point and Noosa. Snickersallen joined us too and it was great to meet someone new, especially someone fun to cache with. So many laughs, frustrations and more laughs. Lots achieved. Some road blocks preventing some wanted achievements, but we enjoyed ourselves anyway. This was day 3 of our adventure, back on the mainland. This section was just Chamad and myself as we made our way back home, caching along the way until well after dark.
Quickly spotted but too high for me so lucky Chamad was with me.

A quick find today by Simber15. Clever camo, haven't seen one of this type.

This was clever! Not a spot I usually expect to find a cache but appreciated your camo efforts here. Log signed and replaced as found. Was thankful a TOTT wasn’t required to open the camo as we would have had to improvise!

Visited this one due to recent DNFs. Spotted it straight away but not in the exact same location where we left it. No log inside though, so replaced the log and put back against the part of the fixture that will be most suitable for the force within to hold it there.
I will adjust the co-ordinates a little as I took a new reading while there. I will also increase the difficulty as it is in a high position so those height disadvantaged will need an appropriate assistance tool to reach it. Also, there is a trick to opening which is part of the fun of the cache so... really if you don't open it to reveal the log, you have not really completed the find!
I won't be deleting previous logs that mentioned that they did not access the log but it will be on your own conscience if you claim a find and did not open the container...
You do not need any sophisticated tool to open the container - fingernails will do fine. Those without any may need to find something else to assist though.
And please, put the container back correctly matching up the arrows & put back in correct position.
Difficulty/Terrain changed from 2.0/1.5 to 3.0/2.0
Happy hunting!! ️ ️ ️

Wednesday. We were enjoying a lovely camping holiday at Boreen Point and thought we’d find some caches. We had a look for this one, and we thought reception mustn’t be too good today as GZ had us looking in the trees which meant we didn’t have any luck. Paid a return visit later in the day and had success! Like previous finders, GZ had us about 15-20m. We read previous logs and some said it was down low and some said it was up high and questioned the T rating and really had us confused, especially since we realised afterwards we realised we had been looking in the wrong area and thought we had to get our feet wet possibly. Oh well, with the container in hand we managed to get the log out without doing any damage to it and we replaced all found. The nearby pipe we used really helped with this bit and cache was an easy reach. Lovely area and wished we had brought our kayak
This was the 1st of 4 caches found on this outing.
Thanks ***spiderwebbs4*** for showing us this place

Quick and easy find by D.D, but only because we read the previous logs. Couldn't get it open, but forgot the pen anyway so didn't try for long. Felt a bit creepy reaching up there!
Did enjoy that one with a few clues derived from other logs. Very quiet here today maybe cause it’s 37 degrees. Hello summer. Quick ish find. Back in air con car. Applied hand sanitizer tftc
Fun Geo thanks for the adventure. My Geo was a little off, so it took a little longer. Great clues, had us thinking. After reading others before helped narrow down our search. Bring a pen to sign the log.
After a considerable time concentrating on the berries I changed tack & focused on the pooples. Once I had my head in the game it was easy to spot the cache. It was then necessary to put wait several local muggles before retrieving the cache. That in itself was different but a pipe proved helpful in reaching new heights. Unfortunately it was impossible to extract the log from the cache so I have photo evidence if needed TFTC
Number 350. Took two looks. After we read the logs and found the GZ was 20m out

Clever Hide. Co-rods were a bit off, but managed to locate it with some hints below. TFTC!
I believed the GPS for too long! Recent logs put me on the right track. I'm glad no one was watching as I retrieved the cache. TFTC.
Like many before us, this one had us looking in the trees. We had all but given up when MrsWallaby needed the loo and WallabyTim said the magic words, "Found it!" Clever use of the container. TFTC
Had to look outside the co-ords as off by about 15 metres today but happy to have cache in hand
Began our search at GZ with no luck then read the description and moved to a more appropriate spot. The tallest member of the crew retrieved the cache. We found it about 15 metres from where our gps wanted us to look.

We found it easy easy, we actually saw some other people looking for it that gave it away
Didn’t manage to find this one today. We were sad because we were excited to find this unique container! Thanks anyway for bringing us to this cool spot.
I was just about to give up on this one , when I went back the car and read some recent posts.

Oh my goodness! That was sneaky. What we thought it was...it wasn’t. No need to be scaling heights.
Climbed up and examined the thing extensively. If it is the cache I could not determine how to open it. If it is the cache The T rating is so so wrong.
On our way home from a weekend camp at Elanda Point, we finding a few caches on our way home. Luckily we were able to park safely nearby with 4WD and camper and went in search for this one. A geotrail led us in amongst the trees and couldn't see anything like a cache. Spied something very high up in a tree that could be a sneaky cache, but didn't have any TOTT to get to this one safely. Either it has been moved higher, but it is no longer a T1.5 to me...
Even standing on hubby's shoulders I wouldn't reach this one.
Will have to try another day when we are here again.

After a windy day of surfing we treated ourself to a quick search and found it after a while. We were to concentrated on the trees in the beginning... TFTC
TFTC - great little hide, found whilst visiting the grandies at Lake Cootharaba.
Had a look and couldn't find. Very wet and didn't want to get wet. Will try again later!
Found it a few minutes later with help. Very good clue in the name. Got eaten alive by mosquitoes! Take an adult or a step ladder!
The last one for the day... after one heck of a day nearly 20km of kayaking, heat, trees and mozzies to boot. It was good to stop for a moment here to use the amenities and then Brother Colin made the find. Bit of a technical issue getting to the log but it was soon sorted, our names signed and cache returned as found. Thanks for the cache, spiderwebbs4!
A weekend of camping and kayaking was organised by Slow Puncture for a group from the PRCYS at the Scout Campsite, 'Camp Cooroora' on the banks of Lake MacDonald. A fantastic place to stay with hot showers, grassy campgrounds, fire pits and kitchen facilities.
After finding all of those caches, Caro, Grand Poobah and myself headed for Coloothin Creek for a few more kayak finds.
After that Caro and I headed over this direction to find this cache as we are in the area.
Thanks for that caches.

A big weekend of kayak caching in the region has been planned and day 1 is just about over.
A quick stop here as someone needed the facilities.
And a cache to find as well.
A quick find by the most experienced member of the small group.

As with others, the coords had me all over the place. After reading other logs I got lucky. Thanks
Spotted it fairly quickly but being short had to be creative over getting hold of it. Whoops, I hope that isn't a security camera! TFTC
